I am treating some of my kittens right now and did a mixture of 2 teaspoons of organic apple cider vinegar (the mother) in one cup of water! I dipped a cotton ball in the mixture squeezed it and rubbed the inside of their ears and dipped one of their paw in the mixture! I do this 2 to 3 times a day! I even put some on their neck! I think the best I see is mixing some of the mixture with can food! I would say maybe 10 drops! This really does the trick! I even clean their nose with it!!! I have a beautiful boy, he's 19 years old, we've had him since he was only seven weeks old, ( his sister of the same litter recently passed away JUST before her 19th birthday RIP Tisa) and her brother Shika, and since she passed away nearly 3 months ago, he just went to totally depressed, and his health is declining and fast, the vet basically said that he's developed a respiratory issue and we need to either euthanize him or let him slowly go, but I want to help him, FAST to at least help him breath. I have a humidifyer and he and I both love and need it. yes, he sleeps with me on my bed. I am so worried about my furry boy, he's been through a lot and I want to make his last days as easy as possible.
I read a lot of your how to apply the ACV but is there a video or youtube that I can watch to understand how you are really applying this to the cat? I need help, ASAP! I'm so afraid that I'm going to lose him. If he dies, I don't know how I'm going to take it, especially losing his sister of 19 years just a couple months ago. Oh dear! Take a small cup, put in 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar to 3 tablespoons of filtered water. With a very clean medicine dropper, every hour, on the hour, put in 2 to 3 drops in between his gums. Do this until you see improvement.
Every 1/2 hour, give him 2 to 3 drops of filtered water to prevent dehydration.
When the kitty perks up, do the ACV procedure every 2 hours and the water procedure every 1 hour.
When the kitty wants to eat, get organic grain free wet food.
This is how I made my older kitty get over a very severe respiratory infection. It took about 3 days for measure able improvement. It was work but my sweetie is purring up a storm.

Hi,
I was reading earlier that a woman had a kitty with chronic asthma...and gave him 1/2 tsp a day of coconut oil and it cured him after 7 days. He threw up a bit...the toxins. Google Earth Clinic Cats Asthma...and the page will come up. It's the first one, under coconut oil.. Maybe it could clear him out?

Aww, I am so sorry for your loss and I do hope the cat you still have feels better soon. I am just learning that ACV works for upper respiratory disease. I have had one cat for two years and when I adopted her, she already had the condition. I have tried all different types of Lysine in every form and brand I can find, antibiotics to thin out the junk she sneezes, and humidifiers. None of them work at all or it is does lessen her symptoms, it is not for very long. A couple of weeks ago, I got two kittens, one for me and one for my daughter. We named them Simba and Nala, well my daughter named them that. Now, they are starting to sneeze! Seriously? Am I going to have 3 cats sneezing junk all over my house? My cat adopted 6 years ago with a horrible case of URI never really got over it 100%. I as well as the vet we were suspecting the allergies, I tried anything to minimize exposure to any allergen, nothing was helping. Cat was always sneezing, gagging. Finally another vet diagnosed her (the cat) with the feline herpes virus that symptoms in cats with constant rhinovirus. I am using Lysine to keep her immune system up and humidifier to keep her nose wet not mentioning constant wiping the buggers. Currently battling deworming, a bot fly bite, and what seems to be a URI starting. If I'm not cleaning diarrhea, I'm changing bedding, washing my hands until they are now bleeding, and my clothes are washed and changed at least 3 times a day. The vet estimates Frank to be about 7 weeks old. When I took him they gave him dewormer, his first boosters, & antibiotics for the fly bite. I'm trying the ACV approach as he has just started sneezing and watery eyes this morning. I'm praying it works.Replied By Mary Jo (North Carolina) on 04/23/2018
The vinegar makes my Noah kitty foam at the mouth .. he hates it,, I dont know how to get it in him .. :(

I did the steam in the carrier. I don't recommend it. I'm lucky that my cat recovered.
