For the last 2-3 months, my wife has been taking the following for fibroids:

1) 1 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar + 1/4 baking soda 2-3 times a day

2) 1 small teacup beet juice + 1 tsp. blackstrap molasses + aloe vera juice 2-3 times a day

However, she often experiences heartburn and diarrhea that she had not experienced before, therefore naturally the culprits have to be these remedies. They are working well on the fibroid but cause heartburn as a side effect. What do you think can be the cause? Excessive sugar from frequent consumption of molasses? Something about the vinegar? I do not trust chemical remedies so I am suspicious of the baking soda.

Do you have any ideas how to make these remedies more readily digestible?

One tip that I have discovered to make the beet mixture more palatable (my wife dislikes the earthy taste of beets) is to mix it with coriander powder which is a light spice that balances the more earthly taste of the beets.

Dear Marcin,

I wonder if it could be the beet juice? A friend, with the counsel of a natural doctor, was juicing for her daughter's health issue every day. But she was juicing several things. And she was only supposed to use a small amount of beet each day (Maybe 1/4 of a beet?) in the juicing because of its strong action.

Thank you, we stopped the beet juice and it worked. She has been now taking only the Blackstrap Molasses and Apple Cider Vinegar for two weeks and she does not experience heartburn anymore.

I read a post on here where a woman was doing the same remedies for the exception of the Aloe Vera and she was getting heart burn as well. She read that beets can sometime give certain individuals heartburn so she decided to stop taking the beet juice. Once she stopped her heartburn went away. I hope this helps.

God Bless to all.

Yes, I can't drink much beet juice either - I used to drink 1 liter packs because I thought I was doing myself a favour and being "healthy" o:O

Vinegar is acidic and it will give you some. So you need to take it with water. Baking soda easily remedies heartburn and I take it to get rid of heartburn.
