5 out of 5 stars

I've had bouts with PD since high school. I'm now 31. I also have sarcoid and I've had about 2,342 derm appointments. I started a holistic approach about five years ago it worked wonders. However, after a colonic, some toxins were released into my body and my face broke out. ARG! I stupidly used cortizone cream as my moisturizer for two weeks to get the inflammation down, which flared my PD like crazy. The muzzle rash was in full effect. I've only ever used Protopic to get rid of it before which took several weeks. I refused to use any of those disgusting creams, nor the traditional route of antibiotics. Here's what I did that actually dried up and healed the PD in just a week:

- NO soap. Only wash your face with warm water.

- NO sulfates of any kind, especially SLS.

- NO toothpaste with fluoride. I use Nature's Gate.

- No moisturizer or oils on your face. No petroleum jelly, nothing!

- Take 100mg of zinc everyday during the reaction.

- Since I knew I need a gel with anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-viral powers, I employed collodial silver, which is activated silver in deionized water. I purchased the Sovereign Silver first aid gel AND the immune support drops. You MUST get them both. Add a generous amount of the drops to your first aid gel (as the drops are super potent but they need a gel base. the first aid gel also works wonders.) Smear a layer all over the rash and let it sit on your face wet. It started drying up immediately, but I saw some serious results on the third day. Today is my fourth day and it's almost gone! Collodial silver is a natural antibiotic and I also take three teaspoons of it each day. I apply the gel mixture 3 - 4 times a day.

- Just before applying the gel, I also use Dickerson's Witch Hazel to tone and refresh the skin. This works as well.

Lastly, stay away from gluten and spicy foods. I have a gluten allergy, so this was easy for me. They aggravate it greatly.

Good luck, everyone! I wanted to share because PD can be so emotionally draining and none of us should have to suffer through it. I hope this helps someone!

I have been following your instructions and my PD is disappearing within 4 days. The red spots are decreasing every day and the itch and dryness is getting better. I will let you know if it goes away completely. I had PD 3 years ago and I used Colloidal Silver by itself as natural antibiotic and eventually went away. But your procedure expedites the healing. I'm excited to see how fast goes away. Thanks.

I just purchased all the items you listed above (I already use Witch Hazel). MY PD is around both eyes, above my eyebrows, along side of my mouth and under my nose. This is my first real go 'round with this and it is terrible! Mine is already quite dry ... I haven't started using your methods listed above (still waiting on the gel to arrive). The dryness is killing me. Do you still insist no oil or moisturizer? I've heard Castor oil works ... but I don't want to mess with it anymore. Thanks for this! I am hoping the Colloidial silver stuff works!

Hi, I'm having serious PD at the same area as you. Have you fully recovered now? If yes, could you please share the methods that use?

Thank you both for writing your success stories; I feel more hopeful as I have been struggling with PD for a few months and nothing is working. The only thing left the M.D's say is oral antibiotics which I always have bad reactions on. I have taken Colloidol silver internally and applied colloidal silver gel to my outbreak areas which are eyes, nose and mouth and it seemed to burn and make things worse. I have also tried all the ointments and creams prescribed. I think mine started from using a cortisone cream on my GP's recommendation.

The Dermatologist told me to use one of a list of "intolerant skin" creams and have been using La Roche Posey, cleaner and moisturizer only and they do not seem to help at all.

I shall try the zinc and using which hazel and not sure I can go without moisturizer as I live in a northern climate and it is winter and cold and very dry and my skin cries for moisture.

Thank you

warm regards,

Lasha

Hi Lasha,

My son had a rash on his bottom - he's in diapers - and nothing would get rid of it. Finally I tried colloidal copper and it was gone the next day! So I tried it on his face around his mouth area where he gets a red flakey irritation and that cleared as well.

You could also use emu oil as a great moisturizer afterward.

Whenever I've dealt with rashes I like to add a couple of drops of GSE (Grapefruit Seed Extract) to my moisturizer. It's safe for your face. In addition, I'll take 10-15 drops in water 3 times daily. Works very well for skin issues.

Some of the best moisturisers are jojoba, rosehip and even chia seed oils. If you buy the pure oils, you only need a few drops. Good idea to ingest good oil, suggest three farmers (Cdn.) Camelina oil.

You might take whole leaf aloe vera drink once or twice a day, too.

Marnie,

Could you post what brand Colloidal Copper you used and if its available on Amazon?

Thanks!

You might try taking a teaspoon of activated charcoal mixed in a glass of water first thing in the morning for a few days. Wait an hour or more after taking the charcoal and then take psyllium fiber, otherwise the charcoal will be diluted by your meals. The charcoal and psyllium will help remove toxins from your gut. For meals include sulfury foods like garlic powder, cabbage, eggs. Some people eat a dozen raw eggs a day (that is without the shell ;) Chlorella and Spirulina, kefir, and a nice strong homemade bone broth would be good. Skin conditions are sometimes associated with gut conditions; these foods cleanse and sooth the gut. Vitamins A, B, C, D, E obviously should help, too. Topically try castor oil, if you haven't. I have a hunch sulfur is your ticket.

the Sovereign Silver first aid gel is not colloidal silver.

Not the real thing! Not Colloidal!

I bought this colloidal silver and ends up being that it is not colloidal. I bought it because I was learning about nano particles of different metals. Ends up being that this silver is nano (some) but not colloidal. Colloidal means the nanoparticles measure between 1 nm and 100 nm. If the size is right, then the liquid looks yellow at low concentrations of silver and red at very high concentrations. You can even use the Super Tyndall Effect to test this kind of products, if you see the light passing through the liquid as a beam of light and its strong, then its colloidal. Needless to say, this one has some Tyndall Effect, but not Super Tyndall, and this one is colorless, not like what we had in our class. I thought I would share this since its important for people to know.
