I want to drink the ACV and honey to dissolve my calcium deposits, but that much honey would make me even fatter, since I must count carbs. Would the apple cider vinegar do the job without the honey in it?

The honey is just to make it taste better.... It is vinegar after all.

Beware of agave nectar, it's just like fructose corn syrup.. Look up Dr. Mercola's info on that subject. It's one of the pages with good info on the subject.

A great way to drink ACV daily is to make this drink:

  • 2 Tablespoons organic Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 Tablespoon lime juice
  • Stevia (a sweetener) (to taste-I use 2 packets)
  • Ice Water
  • 1 quart-sized jar

It is much easier to drink ACV when it tastes delicious!

Instead of honey I used licorice tea.

That is a good recipe for Apple Cider Vinegar. One could substitute lemon juice for lime juice if preferred. Make sure the ACV is organic and has the "Mother" included in it. Probably a waste of time otherwise! Also, and this is important, always shake the bottle prior to taking in order to mix it up. In addition, one should rinse one's mouth out straight away afterwards and it is often recommended to brush teeth maybe twenty minutes later so as to preserve the enamel on your teeth.

Some folks sip through a straw or they slug it all down in one shot, in order to care for their enamel.

I recommend starting with a single tablespoon and gradually work up to two as you get used to the brew.

I have a lot of faith in ACV since reading Dr. Jarvis's book on the subject many years ago.

I too have had increased gout attacks by taking ACV. It's actually a positive response because the urate crystal deposits are beginning to dissolve, which causes attacks. I've had three doctors tell me that exact same thing. So I say keep up with the ACV.

This response "with more pain" showed up on my thread for calcium deposits. Gout is caused by a buildup of Uric Acid Crystals. Try a table spoon of black cherry juice daily as a preventative. Also bananas, apples, citrus and other common fruits are good but cherries are best. I know we can't get the fruit year round but you can get the juice.
