More info on the dosage please. Are ya'll brewing the tea in small batches and giving how much, how many times per day? Or sprinkling the whole tea on their food. And for that too, how much and how often did you use it. Thank you for any info. We are dealing with several small tumors in the lungs of our 13 yr old.

Angela --- for your thirteen year old ? with lung trouble.

I obtained my Essiac tea from ESSIAC WEST online. Theirs is the four herb tea with roots included.

It comes with a booklet where all your questions are answered.

Start with a lesser solution on page eight, para. four.I am doing one tsp. daily, hoping to do one tsp. morning and evening.

It is best to go slow and watch the thirteen year old. Is it a dog?

Namaste, Om

I have a 15 year old Himalayan who was diagnosed with lymphoma. I ordered the Essiac and the bottle says one half capsule twice a day. I have been emptying the capsule, mixing it with warm water and syringing it into her mouth (not too fond of it, but toerates it). Is there a better way? The gel caps are huge and she can only take half at one time. Her breathing is sometimes labored. I don't want to give up on her but I don't want her to suffer...especially breathing. She is still eating and using the litter box.

Denise (Georgia) ---

Pleasse do not feed pets with capsules. Authentic ESSIAC do not advise to use capsules anyway. Make the tea with the four herbs and roots. That will be easy to feed with syringe. Best of success.

Namaste, Om

I just wanted to update on Khaki, my Himalayan. She continues to improve. Her appetite is better and her breathing is much better. I really thought I was going to have to put her down. I can only conclude that the Essiac is the reason for her miraculous improvement. I don't like to get my hopes up, especially with lymphoma, but if she can have a few more healthy months (or years) thanks to Essiac tea, then I am very grateful. Don't give up hope and give this a try if your pet has been diagnosed with cancer.

Thank you all for your stories. Denise, I was excited to hear about your cat as my Shih Tzu has lymphoma as well in the lungs. She did Chemo and was in remission and when it came back, we tried again, but unfortunately it's become resistant. I started Essiac today....I only gave her 1/4 of an oz vs 1/2 once and she had upset tummy an hour later and wasn't feeling well until this afternoon. I am going to try and mix with a little food tomorrow, but did anyone's furbaby react initially? Should I just gradually increase? Thank you all!!! Would love updates as well!
