Can anyone give me an answer what to put on skin to stop the burn. Please only comment if you have dealt with this before. I also put probiotic on it with no help. I am very smart, have done a ton of reading, just can't seem to locate any valuable info on how to alleviate this. Thanks.

From RI...
Re the terrible itching problem.
Here's a guess for you Bradshad; I'm thinking that given your successful adherence to the alkalizing diet and the problem still persists, maybe the issue is not acidic/alkalizing only.
Here are some (I'm brain storming now)...here are some possibilities;
1. You have a viral infection...specialty virus effecting an organ in the system that can produce such skin surface outcomes. So as a presumption that such is a possibility I'd be on colloidal silver for a month to test such a possibility. Three tablespoons twice daily on empty stomach.
2. You've been poisoned. I don't mean poison as in someone trying to kill you, but too much of some toxic substance or an allergic reaction to something. (google "70 causes to skin itching" and you'll find pictures plus conditions that could give you a clue. (You're not an outdoors guy are you?...Lyme possibilities? Spider bites?) I thinking SOMETHING else is going on with you. Think back to when this condition started...really the first onset...then go back six months or a year...did anything happen that might be a clue to what is happening BEFORE onset of your symptoms.)
3. You have a serious food sensitivity...normal ones are wheat/potatoes/beans...that would be a typical "carb" metabolism problem. I had to go to a changed died (at my rather advanced age...bummer! ) Try getting off those and by all means go to a Live Cell Microscopy expert and get your blood tested. Most of them do a food tolerance test. I have a great one in SC I go to. If your carbs are not absorbing then alkalizing can help but your system is STILL exploding. I went through this. Skin irritation...the works until the food sensitivity was dealt with. I'm also now on mega enzymes with EACH meal. The result was nearly immediate.
4. Now, as to what to do right now, try the following...On parts of your body experiment with:
...a solution of Borax and water. Take one tablespoon in a cup of warm water and dissolve the Borax (as in 20 Mule Team Borax)...I just wrote a post on EC on how I shampoo my hair with that solution...it even drips down into my eyes without harm or stinging. I let it get into ears and rub eye brows with it. Very soothing. I do that once or twice a week.
...also consider topical aloe vera GEL. I know you mentioned you'd tried it but I mention the gel as it seems to really work well; better than the liquid for (burning) issues.
....I presume you do not have a stomach ulcer. If you do, that could be contributing to the problem.
....Try this on a bit of your skin ...take a teaspoon of baking soda in water and make a paste out of it...apply to worst area of outbreak. Leave the "cake" on for twenty minutes. If improved, expand the area of application.
I have a few other ideas but don't want to overwhelm you. Please write back and tell us about what might have preceded your condition. And if any of the topical helps gave you any success in relief.
Don't over look the real possibility of infection/food sensitivity etc. Colloidal Silver can work wonders if your situation is an infection. But you must stick to the protocol. Also make sure your sinuses are clear. A long lasting sinus infection can indicate you have a standing systemic infection, complicating your alkalizing attempts.

Hi Dave,Just read your comment and want to thank you for being so generous with your thoughts, which seem very sound to me. I do not have psoriasis, but my skin is unhealthy and I have had chronic lyme deep in my body and brain, and also have researched that chonic lyme is because of EBV- so the viral connection as well. Thanks again.

Thank you for this post. I have psoriasis at 71-years old on both elbows. Im an otherwise fit and vigorous, healthy sugarless-no gluton, person, lol, who is at my ideal weight and taking lots of supplements and in good health. In the last two months, My elbows are suddenly on fire with a horrific itch and now the skin is thickening in those places. It comes on at certain times of the day. I have no clue other than maybe this is a detox from the thyroid meds I took for 15 years that I have recently weaned myself from. (Hashimotos) Thanks for writing in. I'm going to try the borax and aloe for relief.

Cecilia, hi. Would you be open to some changes in your protocol?First, besides gluten-free, cutting out all wheat and wheat-related (cousins of wheat) products....
Nothing with 'ose' at the end: sucrose, lactose, glucose, etc.
Cutting down on too many supplements that overload your liver to process might help, too.
No yeast or anything related to yeast.
Carbs are sugar, so I would stay away from that list I see online all the time about white carbs: no rice, sugar, bread, pasta, potatoes. Eating some of these foods is the same an eating sugar out of a bag, no difference.
Organic coconut oil deeply massaged into your elbows after a shower when your pores are open.
P73 Oregano Oil is a must, but you need to try a little bit first to make sure you can tolerate the strength. If it burns a bit, you can dilute with a few drops of olive oil. This has effectively and completely killed the itch during flare-ups and is a wonder 'drug'. If and when you become brave enough, a couple of drops under your tongue everyday will help kill what's in your body causing this. I used to pay $60 for 1oz back in the day, but I see it out there for much less cost today. The price doesn't matter if it works and relieves. You cannot put a price on your health.
Limit dairy as much as possible, again dairy turns to sugar via carbs.
For psoriasis, what we put into our body is more important than what we put ON our body. If we are eating the wrong food/s, nothing we put on topically will matter, it's just a waste. Also, don't put anything on your skin that you can't put in your mouth and ingest. I suggest tossing any and all topical ointments with brand names, creams, salves, etc. Worthless and full of chemicals.
Nobody knows your body more than YOU do, so see which foods are most tolerable and stick with those only to avoid these terrible flare-ups.
I'd love to know if any of these suggestions work for you.

Certainly a very annoying problem to be dealing with.
Here is the thing. Psoriasis is a stubborn beast that just does not answer to many things at all. If the P is in an aggressive state then im sorry to say I have yet to find any natural solution.
The whole diet thing is largely a scam or affiliate marketing type thing, however a good diet is obviously still very important. I just have yet to notice any real difference with the P in regards to diet.
The only thing I have found to work on the skin portion is a 50/50 mix of glycerin and witch hazel, and it comes with some compromises. It can give me some relief for a few hours to help me get some things done, but it will raw the skin out and cause some problems, but it does tend to tame the itch a little bit. It's a catch 22 as it seems everything is with Psoriasis.
If its in certain places you have to check for a fungal infection first. After that, slowly ramping up some more toxic drugs will ultimately bring you relief, however they do come with compromises. I ultimately found relief with some coal tar and some salicylic acid, HOWEVER, my body became toxic and the problem ultimately reared its head elsewhere, so ultimately a very compromised solution.
Lest we forget with the P, the problem is happening inside the body, so toxic drugs to alleviate just push the problem inside more and toxify the body, but if a real bad aggressive itch then if not fungal on top of it, there truly is little other way right now.
Sadly all these diet fads and crazy cures are nothing more then affiliate marketing money making lying scams preying on the desperate to make some money. Its a pathetic business but is what it is.
I have found a good mix of things in a bath can provide some relief, but as far as like a cure cure, it doesnt exist, I'm sorry to say.
Good luck with it. Its truly an awful disease with nearly no hope of any long term positive result from anything.

In my history and research, Psoriasis is oftentimes caused by Liver dysfunction (this is the focal point of toxicity you noted). So, first thing is do a Gallbladder Cleanse. Next, take an herbal combination of Milk Thistle/Artichoke/Turmeric, plus daily ACV for optimal gallbladder and digestive function. A Colon Cleanse may also be necessary.

My lymph nodes are swollen; ears itch and burn so much that I can't sleep on either side; break-out in the vaginal area makes both sitting and walking uncomfortable - and a boil seems to be growing there, as well. I itch all over, especially at night, and coconut oil seems to help. Epsom salt baths provide short-term relief, and I just applied some raw shea butter, which actually seems to be doing a better job. (I didn't have any cocoa butter as per another post.) I dropped my DE back down to 1 teaspoon in the morning and dropped it altogether yesterday and today but am not sure that this is the right approach. Perhaps just "suffering through it" is? I don't feel comfortable ingesting Lugol's iodine but am painting it on the soles of my feet. When I applied it to my stomach, it also itched like crazy.
Ah, the games candida loves to play .... Thanks in advance for any edge over it you might offer!

no gallbladder -- you might want to look into ox bile / purified bile salts. Sometimes ppl with liver problems or no gallbladder have problems producing enough bile.
