Cayenne is used in midwifery and in other instances when needed to stop hemorrhaging, and has the ability to correct and balance both ends of many circulation issues. It will assist in dissolving clots as well as stopping bleeding, and it will -- over time -- correct both high and low blood pressure.
I suggest to all readers that when it comes to benefits and contraindications of herbs and medications, that they exhaustive research, or at least more than they think is necessary, to discover what they need to know for their particular situation or those for whom they are caring.
EC: Thanks, Karenna. We appreciate your clarification!Replied By Bane (Bg, Serbia) on 08/08/2009

Cayenne also works awesome for cuts... burns pretty bad at first but gives a nice heal with no scar for the couple times I've used it on myself and others but these were minor wounds, so I can't say how well it would work for something severe.

I would mix cayenne with DMSO and drink it, but basically I find it perfect combi.

If a person was getting a heart attack you are supposed to give a tea spoon of cayenne pepper and it is suppose to bring them back again.

However from the symptoms you describe it is more likely going to be coronary artery sclerosis or angina. The extent of this condition needs to be assessed as it seems you are already getting warning signs. It is always better to get these things checked, if there is a serious underlying problem, get the issue addressed and then return to natural health approaches as a preventative measure for the future. If the tests show nothing is wrong with your heart, then that is the best outcome and you can then direct your attention to finding a way to treat the condition not just the symptoms. I truly hope you take heed of this advice.

Tara, I think the best and quickest way for it to be effective is to put it in hot/warm water and drink. I don't really know what dmso is tho.. but I would think if you put it inside your body it will get into your blood and dilate your arteries much more directly than it could ever possibly do through your skin.
For the past weeks I have kept taking a tsp of cayenne (pills got expensive) in a glass of hot water at least 3x a day... It has provided a great deal of relief, but I am aware that this isn't a cure all. Lemarque I too suspect arterial sclerosis.. And by how badly my legs have scaled over I am severly depleted in good fats, however I did get a basic hepatology screening and everything came back normal (ie ldl) I would contribute the current condition to about 15 years of eating a high salt fast food diet. Another added benefit of taking this cayenne has been that the top of my head on my baldy spot has been warm again after being cold for a very long time. No sprouts yet tho :) I could feel the clots in different areas of my body as well. It got stuck in my arm, my heart, my lung, and what felt like the frontol lobe of my brain... But everytime I just kept taking the cayenne until it passed. I haven't felt it for a week or so but am still taking the cayenne to be safe. I have also started eating flax seeds (mulling them to a pulp) (and this is for omega3/ALA) everyday and while it's only been a few days of it I am feeling way better.

Personally I would love to explore the possibility of organic treatment, but having gone through what I have gone through, I wouldn't dare do anything without the direct guidance of my doctors at this point. The consequences are far too extreme!
I would love to hear some thoughts on organic alternatives since I am now retired from my law enforcement career and have all the time in the world to do some research! :-)

I think you should consider taking Nattokinase as it is a potent blood thinner. If you do decide to take it, then it is best to take with plenty of water 1 hour before meals or snacks or 2 hours after meals or snacks.

Turmeric is thought to prevent the damage that occurs from sitting too long. It would pair well with the cayenne. Garlic, peanut butter, beets, citrus bioflavonoids are other good ideas.

Can anyone provide a warning about what I took? Sometimes, when you're in the pain I was in, you don't think too clear. I know the turmeric and ginger are from roots. I guess you can consider those a starch. I know too many carbs (starches) clog pores and veins. (BTW, a popular medical site locked me out of my account for reporting something they apparently didn't like until I begged for reinstatement and pleaded ignorance due to my brain injuries---which is true). During my times of employment I stood the majority of the time. I was never one to sit for long periods of time until getting the computer but I've had to cut back on that. I rode horses for several years but that is not idle sitting.

Hello Andrea,This is just an update. I have been taking 1/2 tsp. of cayenne in water two to three times a day. I have been adding about 1/4 tsp. of ginger to it. I have also been adding both to food with turmeric. Sometimes I make separate teas with each. Thanks so much for your post...I didn't realize it was so long ago...please forgive my delay of thankfulness. Love, KT
