I was on long term use of Flagyl, initially for an infection, then for c-diff. I refuse to take any more antibiotics and will try some of the homeopathics I read about that were helpful to others. I do have one question. Has anyone experienced numbness of the feet, ankles, and fingers? I read it could be from long term use of Flagyl but can't seem to find out if it is temporary, long term (as in months) or permanent. Just wondered if anyone else has experienced this.

Flagyl is bad. It causes yeast infection. There is a product used in Nepal for diarrhea. It is used mostly by tourists to be protected. It is natural and it has been tested against many bacterias. Give it a try. Best regards.

Yes, I had a reaction to Flagyl as well... Numbness in legs, hands, face... Went to ER to get checked out for stroke since I knew strokes need immediate attention. CT scans showed all was normal, and I was diagnosed with a reaction to the Flagyl... Numbness was there for almost 3 months off and on. Seems to have stopped now, but microbiome has been affected severely for over a year now. Trying to rebuild microbiome and avoid antibiotics for sure!
