I tried urine therapy about 4 years ago after hearing about it from a friend of mine, a kundalini yoga instructor. I decided what the heck, sounds disgusting, but the health benefits sound great! So there I was, drinking my urine first thing in the morning. After 48 hours I got a rash on my stomach that lasted about 2 months. I did this for about 3 weeks. I then asked my doctor to give me a blood test to make sure everything looked okay. He called me immediately upon receiving the results to tell me my uric acid levels were very high and I could develop kidney stones. I was too embarrassed to tell him it was probably caused by drinking my own piss. NO WAY! At any rate, I stopped the therapy right away (I never experienced any health benefits from it) and my uric acid levels went back to normal. I still NEVER admit that I have tried this therapy!

Yet again, when a rash develops after this sort of therapy and others, such as using coconut oil or apple cider vinegar, that means the body is detoxifying. And when your body detoxifies, the toxins must come out somewhere. For some it is with bowel movements, others with rashes. In your case the toxins are leaving through the skin.

What if... and just hear me out... not every symptom is a signal that your body is "detoxifying?"

"I feel horrible! "

"That's not because of what you're doing. What you're doing is curing it! Keep it up! "

"No, I really feel horrible..."

"Don't stop! "

I too had a problem with the uric acid. After several days of drinking a huge glass of "it, " I developed symptoms of gout, and my big toe and the ball joint beneath it were hurting. I immediately went to the gout section on this website and read that gout is caused by too much uremic acid. (Uremic means ""contaminating the blood with urine. ") Then I discovered that one of the remedies for gout was alfalfa, which I happened to have on hand. I took 5 capsules for 3 days, and the toe pain was gone completely. I continued to take alfalfa for 5 more days just to make sure my body was back in balance. I guess this therapy was not "my cup of pee. "

Yes - well, maybe drinking HUGE glassfuls was not the brightest thing to do. As with anything like this there is a limit to how much should be taken. It is high in Urea so it is not wise to take too much - and when you start any kind of natural treatment it is best to start with a little and gradually increase - but to a moderate amount.

Just because it didn't work because you drank too much doesn't mean it doesn't work - and wouldn't work if you took a more moderate amount - say an ounce or two.

Like many things - more is not necessarily better.

Please read:

"The Water of Life" by John Armstrong and

"Your Own Perfect Medicine" by Martha Christie... Both available on the net or your local librarty where I got mine...

Mr Armstrong cured thousands of people of cancer (from 1917 -1943) and other diseases with Uropathy and wrote his book in 1943 (?) In 1996 Martha Christie was given 6 weeks to live and went home to die( much more detailed story in her book)... Her husband brought her Armstrong's book and she cured herself in 2 months... She then wrote a book which is in it's 3rd or 4th printing... There are currently hundreds of people who have testimonials in her latest edition with real names and real e mail addresses and land addresses... All you need after initial therapy is a few drops a day... Both books are amazing...! You won't be able to put them down..!
