Aloe Vera for Pelvic Congestion Syndrome: I'll try and keep this short but to the point. Back in November of 2011 I was hospitalized for severe abdominal pain that radiated down my legs, after then going in and out of the hospital and several clinics for tests to be run including blood work, urine analysis ultra sounds and a CT scan, and then finally seeing a specialist I was diagnosed with Pelvic Congestion Syndrome. I was given a prescription (which I never filled! ) for dilaudid and told that I would need to have a hysterectomy in order to "possibly" relieve my symptoms .. I was not yet even 30! I did a bunch of research and decided to try taking Aloe internally, I started at the beginning of February 2012 and by the end of the month my pain was gone!!! I have since kept taking the Aloe in hopes that not only will my pain be gone but that I might actually CURE myself of this... I have heard that long term use of Aloe will in fact cure it :) I take 2 oz 3x per day, it tastes nasty but it works like a charm.

Can you tell us more about Pelvic Congestion Syndrome and what other symptoms did you have besides the stomach pain? Thanks!

Pelvic Congestion Syndrome is a "chronic" condition in women that is caused by varicose veins in your lower abdomen. Like the varicose veins some people get in their legs, blood pools and creates pressure, forcing the veins to bulge, causing a great deal of pain.

It has been 2 1/2 years since I was diagnosed with this AND Aloe Vera has I believe totally healed me!

Old post but

Re: Pelvic Congestion

You might have a pelvic or vaginal infection.

Someone I know had what sounds like a similar problem with the leg pain and varicose veins in the legs. She put tea tree oil, frankincense oil, and cedar oil in a large gel cap, inserted it into the vagina, and crushed the capsule to release the oils. She had to do it a few times but the relief is almost immediate. The water is contaminated, or her partner has an infection. Drs did not find an infection so she had to experiment. She also had pelvic pain and what seemed like a uti.

She is taking horse chestnut and butchers broom for the varicose veins. Yarrow was used, too. Applying raw apple cidar vinegar mixed 50/50 with witch hazel is making the varicose veins and spider veins on her ankles go away.

Taking lugol's iodine, lemon juice, and parsley juice reduces the abdominal bloating.

Kegals are helping the cervical prolapse.

Chocolate seems to exacerbate symptoms.

She uses a menstrual cup now, instead of tampons, too.

So glad to hear this. Do you have any idea if freeze dried Aloe Vera leaf in capsules has the same therapeutic effects?

Thank you
