Lugol's Iodine for PMS

I started taking Lugol's (5% solution, 5 drops in a cup of water) as soon as my period ended, and I was PMS-free till my next period started! Prior to this, my PMS with nasty mood swings would last more than 2 weeks at times. Having a clear mind thru PMS was amazing! This was my 1st time taking Lugol's, and I'll definitely continue taking it as long as needed. View Entire Thread

I started to take a few drops of Lugol's in water early last week. On the 3rd day, I got my period. I think the Lugol's made it come earlier than usual, but I will have to mark it on a calendar for the next few months to know exactly how much earlier it arrived. What was unusual is that I had NO PMS! No wild hormonal swings, no irritation, no breast tenderness. My period just arrived without fanfare ha ha. The next unusual thing that happened is that I got PMS symptoms (irritablity) on the 1st day of my period, instead of 4 days before... It lasted for a few hours and then all was well in the universe once again. I stopped taking it after 5 days, but will start up again in about 2 weeks. I'd say its a MAYBE remedy for PMS.
