The applications continued for a few days and then I chanced upon Earth Clinic looking for maybe a natural solution to MC. I read ACV as a top ranking solution for Jock Itch. Gave it a try applying it with cotton swabs. I couldn't soak my buttocks overnight in it of course so post bath in morning and evening I applied it. There was some improvement but not drastic that I was reading here. Rubbing Alcohol was the no. 1 so I went in for that. I applied it and to my surprise, it did not itch or sting at all contrary to what reviews had reported that it would sting like hell! So was not sure if my fungal infection would respond well to the rubbing alcohol, I read more here on all the possible options people had tried. Garlic, which is an extremely popular ingredient in everyday Indian cooking, cheap most of the times, readily available across the year, with anti-fungal, anti-microbial, anti-viral properties. Some research is being done over the years.

With the success I got with ACV on my MC, I braved to experiment a solution all my own - mix ACV with freshly ground Garlic. Peel the garlic cloves, use any kind of kitchen vessel to crush it, it becomes mushy and leaves it juice. Put all of it in a glass container that has perhaps one table spoon os slightly more of ACV (Heinz). Keep it overnight and apply post bath in the morning after drying the area. Repeating the same in the evening post bath. Trust me, after the very first application, I can confidently report, the itch which was horrible for years and not a day where I wont be scratching my bottom, WENT AWAY!! In one application! Unbelievable. Of course I have continued to apply it for almost 10 days now and I think I would have itched 1% of my prior levels of itching! It's a big area, chronic for 3 years so I am giving it a month of applying daily morning and evening, the ACV with garlic - applied and left on, perhaps dried naturally for 5 minutes before wearing clothing, but am very happy with the no itch days and nights I am experiencing currently and hope this terrible infection doesn't ever come back.

Please try on a small area first maybe as garlic may cause some burns on sensitive skin. But hey...mix ACV with garlic and see it work on your most irritant Ringworm infection. Be at it for a few weeks if the skin was discoloured (as in my case) or the ringwork was visible (as is with me). Am sure it will go away. I shall come back and report more. Thanks for reading.
