Wheatgrass Powder for CKD in Cat Safe and If So, Dosage?
Wheatgrass Powder for CKD in Cat Safe and If So, Dosage?Posted By Victoria (Canary Islands, Spain) on 05/20/2017
Hi, my cat is approx 18 years old (rescued her 10 years ago from the street). She has been diagnosed with low end of stage 4 ckd. She is fine, but I don?t want to pump her up with modern medicine if I don?t have to. I want to give her wheatgrass powder to help her. Is that okay, and also does anyone know the dosage, all sites I have looked at just give human dosage, which would, I am sure, be far too much for her. We have been alternating between her wanting to eat food one day, syringe feed the next, so hoping to get the stomach acid/nausea levels down. Tried modern meds but they don?t seem to do much for her right now. Many thanks for any infor you can give.
