I have hyperparathyroidism and take Rocaltrol o.25mg. I tried Vitamin D3 but did not decrease my PTH levels. Now my level is within normal range. My concern now is the endocrinologist, thinks I my be going into hypothyroidism. I am feeling quite fatigued, and weak and want to support my thyroid so that I can avoid taking medication.
My mother had hyperthyroidism and my sister hypothyroidism. I do not want to do anything that might adversely affect my hyperparathyroid problem. I also have a sensitive system and have chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia but this weakness is different and I have had a subnormal body temp.for years. Any suggestions? Thanks
