Effective Natural Remedies for Tooth Abscess Relief

I had a front tooth which had a cap put on 15 years ago. An abscess formed under it, which was seen on x rays on a Friday but the place that makes a "flipper", temporary tooth from a mold, wasn't open until Monday. It was already hurting, head headaches, stomach pains from infection but I started on 750 mg. with BCM-95, 3 times a day ( Equals 500 capsules curcumin ) the day before I saw Dentist. Dr. wanted me to take antibiotics over weekend but they kill the flora as long as four years in your stomach and always made me very ill. ( I have a-fib, heart murmur and bacteria would be really bad.) But I passed on antibiotics. Also used colloidal silver directly on area by tooth infected. Tonight I don't have a headache, stomach pains and tooth barely hurts. Working great.

DMSO, Nascent Iodine, Garlic
Posted by Anon (Not Canada) on 10/03/2020

DMSO is sulfur. Which helps detoxify. I would think that if it can dissolve the zirconia it can also help the body eliminate it. I would not be anxious about it. You might eat garlic to facilitate the detox.

Mercury, too.

Diane Z. It might heal a bit faster with clay-in-an-empty-teabag inside the mouth. Clay works slowly.

Ozone
Posted by Smartie (Seattle) on 12/21/2015

Ozone works for some people. I would start slow. My first visit, I noticed I had a very odd sensation in my brain, my mind felt so weird. The holistic dentist told me some people just can't stand the ways it makes them feel.

Update:

I did 1tsp of table salt in 1 cup of warm water as a rinse after the hydrogen peroxide sat for 10 minutes on the pain/infected area. Although it minimized the pain (thankfully) my left cheek is now puffed up. Also, the curve in my jaw below my ear still has a slight annoying pain to it but it's not as bad as it was.

Mkd89, in addition to all of the good suggestions you have received, one of the things that I have had success with when this happens is to up my oil pulling. I have had it draw out infection from the jaw and lymph nodes and also when it feels like it is going into an ear infection. It isn't necessarily a quick fix but I would do it before any flight I take as I have issues with the pressure in planes. Good luck on your upcoming flight.

You could stop using flossing-sticks and use a Water-pick instead. Floss cab cut gums between teeth rather quickly and not always knowingly. Before using Garlic on my own abscess, my regime was 3% Peroxide flush, brusing teeth with toothpaste, then half a capful of Listerine. The detritus which comes out after spitting into the basin, has to be seen to be believed!

Lastly, I use a Water-pick with warm water and a small amount of a liquid freshner and again, I'm staggered by what is flushed out. Obviously, prevention is preferable to cure but I've stopped flossing because a cut gum permits bacterial entry and with all that stuff secreted within the teeth-crevices, it seems to be asking for trouble.

I'm wanting to know about infection in my dog's tooth. It will be pulled next month, but the vet said it was painful for him, but nothing for pain or to control the infection until they can fit him into their schedule to extract it. I'm wondering I could do him harm if I put Oral Gel on it....I asked these questions of the vet, but was not given the answers. Joy

Usually when I got an abscess I went straight to antibiotics. It happened accidentally when I purchased a bottle of mouth wash with tea tree oil in it, while I already had the abscess but not to cure the abscess just for overall oral health. Any case I had this abscess and was planning to go to the chemist to get antibiotics. I was using the bottle with tea tree oil in it, and in 2 days my abscess was gone, not sure what it does but I use it daily.

Jaw Bone Infection Remedies

What dentist did you finally go to? I had 2 roots canals removed by my biological/holistic dentist, and now am having a great deal of pain in my jawbone, neck and throat, ears, and now affecting my vision (which an opthalmologist says is 20/20 - inflammation is coming from behind the eyes). My dentist took an xray that didn't show infection, and keeps trying to send me to a naturopath for IV DMSO. Unfortunately DMSO is sulfur, and I cannot tolerate sulfur, not even sulfur foods. I don't detoxify well (50-70% impairment) due to genetic mutations, so I have to be very careful what I use or ingest. I was also recently diagnosed w breast cancer, which corelates back to those root canal teeth (thyroid & breast meridians), and also have multiple nodules on my thyroid and salivary glands. I am now on a raw food diet (sprouts & veggies, veggie juices, and some fruits). I've been a painful swollen mess for several months and don't know what to do to get rid of this infection.

Hi Britee, sorry I can't help answering your question because I haven't had that surgery myself (although I do have TMJ and a nerve damage in my face). I suggest you look up "Cavitation Surgery Forum" on Curezone, there's a lenghty tread about this treatment there and you are likely to find personal experience of people who'd been through this. Hope this helps. Oldriska

I wanted to avoid surgery. So, I asked a expert cavitation dentist , if there was any other way to cure a jaw bone infection besides surgery ? He said, No, surgery is crucial because the infection must be scraped out and off the jaw bone, once this is done it gets the blood circulating to the area. The scraped infection is sent to the lab for identification, then have your doctor can treat the findings. Before surgery I had 25 shots of ozone in my mouth in a two week period . These shots did not touch my infection my case is severe. Another option is go to hospital bone infections are treated with long terms (like six months ) IV antibiotics this is standard.

I had cavitation surgery done twice one site was done three times, I guess that is pretty common.

Tooth Abscess Remedies

I have now had 2 abscesses on my lower jaw bone. I think this is what my doctor called it when I last saw him. It was either an abscess or an infection he referred to it as but I cannot really remember.

Anyway, what happens is my jaw starts to become really sore and I can feel a lump on my lower jaw bone. This lump cannot be felt inside my mouth but can be felt by pressing my face at the bottom of my jaw.

I was prescribed antibiotics by the doctor on both occasions. I can't take anything with penicillin in as I'm allergic to it and come out in a rash. The problem is although the pain eventually goes when I take the antibiotics I can still feel a very small lump in my jaw which makes me think that the infection has not totally cleared. This has happened on both occasions when I have had an infection. I am worried now that I am going to be more likely to get recurrent infections every few months because of it.

Can anyone recommend anything natural I could take to clear the infection, please? Thank you.

Hi Wieas,

You can try swishing with Sodium bi Carbonate water, which you can make by disolving one tea spoon of Sodium bi Carbonate in half glass of water. You can do it at least twice a day and it should keep the bacteral infection at bay. Good Luck

Now that its subsided a bit due to antibiotics I am wondering if I can actually get it healed up with out the recommended surgery thats going to cost 1500.00....

Dear Earth Clinic readers, I am asking for your help. Two days ago at a dental appointment, an xray showed an absess/cyst at bottom of a tooth. Root canal is recomended asap. I have no pain and didn't know I had it. I believe in dr. hal huggins in not having root canals (have had past ones pulled). I seriously do not want to have a root canal done and am wondering what Bill could suggest or anyone that has been able to clear up this condition. I am sure it is affecting my health. Thanks in advance.

hello, I have been reading everything on here, last week I started noticing that my tooth was hurting, im not a big fan of the dentist so I tried ignoring it, then the pain got more severe so I came on here and saw that hydrogen peroxide has helped a lot of you. I tried it and it helped a lot, but then my jaw went numb and I noticed it was a little swollen. Pain in my tooth is minimal, I can eat. And sometimes it doesnt hurt at all. Just my jaw hurts and is swollen. I am trying garlic, but any ideas on the whole jaw situation? my ear has been killing me too.

Periapical Cyst: Eliminate it with Gauze, Water, Oil Pulling, Garlic Oil, Tumeric

A Periapical Cyst is formed after trapped puss cannot escape through the infected tooth's abscess, and instead finds a path into the jaw and cheek near the tooth abscess origin. The cyst usually gets quite large, expanding the cheek outward, putting pressure on the mouth and face. Until the puss finds a way out, it will remain. A possible cause is infection from biting down hard on the weak tooth, or through a narrow opening in the abscessed tooth.

SUMMARY

For a whole week I suffered with this type of cyst, making my cheek look bloated as though I had a very thick slice of salami between my jaw and inside cheek. It hurt on touch, and made my lower face nerves numb from the pressure. It was a bit embarrassing in public, but my health was most important, as this can sometimes be life threatening if it moves too far into the face or down the neck. Once you see the puss, you'll know why.

The day it finally broke, that morning, I decided to stuff a Gauze pad into my mouth throughout the day, to even out the look of my distorted face. By afternoon, the puss finally found a way out of my cheek tissue, through a tiny blister hole it pressed against, just above my lower jaw gum-line. Once the flow began, I carefully massaged out the rest, spitting out the salty, yellow-green puss and blood into the sink and rinsing with a glass of 50% hydrogen peroxide/ 50% water mix to disinfect the mouth.

I didn't have to use the scalpel, thanks to the gauze pad, stuffed into my upper cheek just above the infected tooth on the lower jaw. The pad was small enough to fit in my mouth, but large enough to press constantly against the cheek tissue from 10 AM to 2:30 PM that day only to my surprise. The gauze was very irritating to my inner cheek, and swelling began at 11 AM. By 2 PM, to the point the swelling of my cheek tissue was pushing against and almost over my lower teeth. By 2:30 PM, a hole broke through the blister on its own and the puss began seeping out. (Read below for the full story). To say I was pleased this worked was an understatement, as I was about to give up.

REMEDY INGREDIENTS:

If you have an tooth abscess and a cyst filled with puss in your cheek, try this:

1. Firm GAUZE PAD (or paper towel will work) folded near the problem tooth, against the cheek with the swelling and puss pocket. Gauze or paper towel absorb moisture and add constant wet pressure to the infected cheek, to help it form an outlet blister where nothing had been before the Gauze Pad was added.

2. Regular use of OIL PULLING as suggested on this site. I used Virgin Olive Oil and Canola Oil. Also, swishing with Hydrogen Peroxide and Water mix, and brushing with Baking Soda (sodium bicarbonate) helps too, drawing out toxins.

3. Tumeric Capsules or Tumeric powder to reduce swelling at first. Once you put in the Gauze Pad though, any later swelling is a good sign if it's building inside your mouth's cheek tissue, gums. This indicates it's trying to for a blister to escape through, as it was unable to make it through the cavity tooth.

4. Garlic Oil soft-gels, Liver Cod Oil softgels (A and D), Vitamin C, Multi-Vitamins are helpful to your body. Vitamin A treats the skin. I took a few more than suggested.

5. Water. If you're 200 pounds, I suggest 100 Fluid ounces of water per day (under a gallon). Water reduces infection. Imagine not drinking water, how will the infection leave your body if your organs are drying out, unable to flush infection from your body? If you're thirsty, you're already dehydrated. Drink plenty of water, just don't over do it as it could kill.

6. Eggs. Eggs provide amino acids, omega fatty acids, protein, vitamins, etc. An egg helps provide plenty of nutrition for growth and health. Chicks thrive on the yolk especially. The yolk is key. Cooked or eat as you like.

After that, It could take as little as one day for the blister to form, or longer, depending on your intake of the ingredients. Altogether, I only used the Gauze Pad for about five hours before it opened up a blister in my inner cheek for the puss to escape. Of course, the week of taking the other ingredients no doubt played a role, but nothing sped up the process as fast as the Gauze Pad that final day to my surprise.

ORIGINAL SYMPTOMS, CAUSE and detailed SOLUTION: 7 days plus 1 day cured:

Friday night, I bit down hard on a slice of pizza, and intense, sharp pain shot down my cavity tooth. About fifteen minutes, the pain eased up mostly, but by evening that day, there would be no sleep. Throughout all day Saturday, the non-stop excruciating throbbing intensified full force, and the tooth was very sore to the touch, followed quickly by a fever including the chills, weakness, sore throat and congestion, but no vomiting or diarrhea. And I had a numb feeling on my lower lip and chin, which was slowly spreading to my right cheek.

From experience, I covered myself in heavy blankets and stuck my head over an oil filled radiator space heater, putting life on hold. Staying so hot that I "sweat out" the illness, with more water than I normally drink (2 gallons over 1 day) and plenty of replenishing vitamin C and A, D, and Calcium, with sunny side up eggs. By Sunday night at 6 PM, the fever was mostly gone; no more sore throat, weakness, chills or throbbing tooth.

Having not slept and barely eaten for two days in a row, the absence of pain allowed some shut eye, for 2 hours sprints, as I'd wake up with intense thirst. I continued drinking, but by that evening, the numbness in my face was continuing into the night, followed by swelling of my chin, and finally the right lower jaw of my face. The inflamed cheek expanded about 3/4" from where it normally rests.

Sunday throughout the entire day, I kept a warm wet compress rag held with my hand against my cheek and after seeing on EarthClinic that Tumeric reduces inflammation, I went out to the store and stocked up on the powder and the capsules (which are more tolerable to ingest). Also on pure Olive Oil for oil pulling/swishing, plenty of odorless garlic softgels, more vitamin C, cod liver oil softgels, and multivitamins.

I tried it all, and the swelling finally went down by the next morning (mostly thanks to the compress and Tumeric), but it was time to go to work with a huge Periodical Cyst/facial lump on my cheek, still filled with puss trapped under the tooth. I discovered quickly, food going into the tooth wasn't the issue, but when I first bit down on it, that caused trauma to the lower right jaw nerves, resulting in numbness and puss infection beneath the tooth root. Having no way out through the tooth, the puss found a path into my lower cheek bone and tissue. The lump was very firm, but didn't hurt much, but the pressure on my lips was heavy. I could barely smile.

That Monday, I felt very tired having not slept, and weak, so I attempted to sleep all day and continue with the treatment. By Tuesday, the swelling had not even shrunk an inch, and I had to go to work.

Continuing this all week, it finally turned to Friday night once again, and this thing was still on my face. I'm normally embarrassed by such things as this, so that night, I decided to put a GAUZE pad in my mouth to balance out the protruding bump, stuffing it just above the now swollen lower jaw. "Looks more even with my face", I thought.
Saturday morning, I could see swelling inside my cheek, so I replaced the Gauze with a new one and almost gave up as I drove up to the hospital, then decided to follow my instinct, and drove away. I was going to try and cut a hole in there and save the money. Throughout the day, I picked up groceries and shopped for foods that would feed the bones in my teeth, not sap away the calcium from them like so many junk foods. From 10 AM to 2 PM, the gauze was becoming more irritating against my inner cheek, swelling more than it had all week. At 2:30 PM, just as I got home, something wonderful happened. I tasted a very unfamiliar, salty, foul substance in my mouth. I stopped the car and glanced in the mirror, seeing a big ball of yellow-green puss sapping out of my cheek tissue just near the gum-line. Thrilled, I began spitting out over six tablespoons of puss and blood, carefully pressing on the cyst to allow more to follow out. Inside, I immediately rinsed my mouth with hydrogen peroxide/water mix, to cleanse the mouth. An hour later of this continued treatment, the lump is completely void of puss, though it is still slightly swollen having gone through such abuse. My face is back to normally thankfully and I'm convinced all that work finally paid off, mere minutes before I was going to "cut a hole inside my mouth" from the misery. Absolute relief and joy, with some apprehension it could always return.

Having learned a lesson of a lifetime, I will no longer take my teeth for granted. I have been reading much on "Curing Tooth Decay", and will eat properly once more. A man named Doctor Price, back in 1936, wrote a dental health book about various isolated villages across the world who ate rye bread, eggs, cod liver oil, butter, cheese, some greens, and milk from grass fed cows, and they were immune to tooth decay. Alternatively, he discovered that many in America, who ate mostly white bread and sugar with skim milk, suffered from many cavities and teeth that had trouble fitting in their narrow jaws, despite brushing and flossing everyday. You can find out more online with a search for "Cure tooth decay". "

Oil of Oregano

★★★★★

I had what I believed was a tooth abcess a few years back. My gum was very sore and if my toothbrush even lightly touched that area it was verrry painful. At the time I didn't have dental insurance.

I simply put 3-4 drops of Oil of Oregano in about 1/4 cup of warm water and swished it around in my mouth; particularly on the side where the abscess/soreness was. I did this several times a day. In a few days I was pain free. In between rinses I also used my finger to dab a bit on my gum, but it does burn some.

I recommended this remedy to other people and it worked for them too. Make sure the Oil of Oregano you purchase comes from the Mediterranean; the kind the cures isn't the same kind of oregano you buy for cooking.

Garlic, Cloves

Cloves, garlic really worked for tooth pain and abscess!

I have had an abscess that started over a year ago. I looked online and saw that garlic works to kill the abscess. I ate 3 cloves of minced up garlic a day, and after 3 days the infection was killed. I had started eating right, avoiding white sugar and white flour, corn syrup, MSG's and all the other 'non foods' out there, started drinking raw milk, etc. About a month ago I started eating bread a lot, wasn't eating as well as I should have. I also binged on chocolate at Easter, ate a LOT of it. So, what happened? My tooth became infected again! I never was able to get the abscess to drain (I tried using a cottonball and salt/baking soda but it was under my upper gum and I could never get it 'right on' where the swelling was, it would always move and hit where the gum wasn't swelled up). So I went on here to find out about cloves. I don't have clove oil, and the pain was getting worse because I kept putting off treating it with raw garlic. I saw someone mention using clove powder, and dipped a cotton ball in that. It burned my gum, but it's hard to get the powder up there because the abscess is so high up near my cheek and gum. So instead, I got some hot water from the tap (probably 120 degrees, not boiling water, about 1 ounce or less, and took 1/2 teaspoon of clove powder, mixed it in with the water and swished it around my mouth. About 5 minutes later, the pain was pretty much gone! I then minced up a large clove of garlic and ate it (with food, because garlic is pretty hot tasting). So far so good! The powdered cloves in the water worked, and wasn't as burning to my gum either. I will eat another clove of garlic tonight before I go to bed. I keep taking raw garlic until the infection goes away and the tooth stops hurting. Excellent advice, thank you! I tell others about this website, in fact I'm going to email my friend now (she has a lot of tooth problems). Thank you so much!!

Wisdom Tooth Infection Remedies

I right now have a wisdom tooth ( lower ) that is now infected. I don't have any dental insurance so I have to resort to my knowledge of self-treatment with what I know to work naturally and well. I was in TERRIBLE pain, couldn't eat, couldn't sleep. I attacked the pain and the infection that had by now moved into my lower jaw area and starting to swell with multiple herbs. Every 30 or 40 minutes or so I used either a salt rinse, clove oil applied directly to the infected area, garlic applied to the infected area or a mouth rinse with 3% hydrogen peroxide. I did this for about 4 or 5 hours starting at about 7:00p.m. After about an hour or 2, the infected area started to feel better. About an hour before going to bed, I had chicken soup with chopped garlic bits added. Right before bed , I made a hydrogen peroxide/distilled water solution to drink down. I used 35% food grade ( you shouldn't use 3% from drug store, that's for rinsing your mouth ). Normal preparation is 10 drops peroxide to distilled water ( you have to use distilled water!! ). I used 25 drops because I was fighting an infection.

Do not have anything in your stomach when using food grade peroxide/distilled water. Don't eat from 1 to 3 hours before or after using peroxide/water solution. After doing all of this, I felt much better. The swelling was down and the pain was virtually gone. I kept the routine up for another 5 or so days to make sure that the infection was gone. Hope this helps everybody!!

If accessible, use water pik to irrigate the area infected & you may include peroxide or salt in the irrigation water be sure to rinse the water pik after by sending clean water thru it after the tooth irrigation is ended. you can get creative & use baking soda ,or vinegar, or iodine, etc.

Now here is something that worked for me: eat up to 12 tomatoes raw only & if you can find raw cheese, unsalted for pain this works great. I got up to 7 tomatoes & the abscess burst! I had a tuff time to find unsalted cheese so I bought it at least raw anyway. The main thing is the tomatoe. My abscess has not returned in 2 years. have fun.. bob

Antibiotics

For severe tooth pain such as in the case of an abscess, the only thing that has worked for me is 750mg daily Amoxicillin. I have tried clove oil which is extremely powerful but does not kill the pain even if you drink the stuff and can make the pain worse as an abscess is about pressure build up from toxins under the tooth and so needs to be burst in some way.

I rubbed my tooth-brush rigorously on the abscess itself which hurt a lot, but tons of puss and blood came out that needed to come out as it is poison and what causes the pain in the first place. The colour of the puss is like a dark yellow/orange and there is often a huge amount of it if the abscess is particularly large in size. I could not burst the abscess any other way and this is the only real way of doing it and without seriously hurting yourself or your gum.

For general tooth pain not caused by an abscess, the only thing that will stop pain, is medication unless the tooth pain is mild enough to bear it. Very few people can cope with pain and so the ones that can't, they need something that is going to work and that only comes in the form of pills - not garlic, cloves and things on here that are for more tougher folk with stronger pain threshold.

I cannot cope with tooth pain at all and often suffer from abscesses and I have tried everything out there and nothing works except only for strong antibiotics. A mild tooth ache is another thing and anything will work for that as long as it stings and draws out the source of pain such as warm salt water. Dental pain comes in many forms but the worst is by far toothache caused by an abscess and to which the only cure is relief gained by bursting as much of it as possible and with an object that isn't going to cause damage. The toothbrush is the best and only real sure way of bursting an abscess It takes some pounding on the gum with the bristles to break the top layer of the abscess skin, but once you have done it and the puss and blood come, you know then that you have begun to relieve yourself of the pain an abscess does provide.

I talk from experience and with common sense.

Hi Chico. I was just wondering why on earth you would want to poke holes around a sore infected tooth? I cringe just thinking about it. Why don't you just simply put some Colloidal Silver on it? Or even Manuka Honey works, as well as Hydrogen Peroxide. I have stopped cavities with all 3 of these treatments! And not one them involve pain. Please give one of them a chance! Be well and pain-free.

HI Arlene

I am going to see if anyone has advice on what to do for teeth cavitations/and bad root canal. I do plan to eventually pull out the root canal as I am learning its a dead tooth in mouth and will cause bacteria in that tooth /bone area and go to other parts of our body and into our blood. but in the meantime I was told by my dentist yesterday I have few cavitations on the wisdom teeth where it was extracted! Great now I have few cavitations and bad root canal where I trusted the dentist at that time to do good job. so the only thing to do now is try my best to KILL the bacteria in the cavitations area and root canal. do you think anything can reach below my gum line into these areas to kill bacteria/germs? thank you.

Just having more thought processes…wondered if my “spleen” pain was from using unlimited spice varieties in conjunction with food. Even though that pain was resolved by the use of lemon, my head & neck pain is still there so I started taking acetaminophen and aspirin. Turmeric and cayenne pepper are high in oxalates that can contribute to other problems so I'll try the aspirin and aceta…every four hours since they are supported with studies.

Lemon Water, Turmeric

hi KT . I hope you get my msg…not sure how this work…new on EC about responding back to someone. Back in 2014 I had root canal done and tooth extraction done on the right lower back area. Not sure what #s is the 2 teeth. but all on the right side. within 6 months later I woke up with pain running down my neck /right side of my shoulder out of no where. I didnt do anything physically day/week before so it cant be that. so spend few yrs going fm one doctor to next. ENTs/CHiros/neurologist and all did tests blood work and could not answer to Why for this issue on my right side. got pain and I thought maybe fm my neck but went to chiro and did therapies for over year total and nothing. then it came to me that I had the root canal and another tooth on the right side done 6 months prior to this. so researched and found out root canal is BAD and I could have cavitations fm the other tooth extraction. so spent few months recently researching because last 2 yrs my right ear started to have constant buzzing/humming and does not stop. Night is worse because trying to sleep but its quiet without tv or other activities to help mask this some so night is bad as its so bad to not get good rest hearing it louder/more distinct in my ear. So now its all on my right side with these issues. I have gut feeling its from my root canal and one other tooth on bottom right side extraction. I researched more on this and found out root canals /tooth extraction can leave cavitations . so my reg dentist does not use 3d scan and that is said to use to get too image of cavitations/bacteria . I went yesterday to new dentist with 3d scan and he tells me I have 3 cavitations and also the root canal is bad. thus all these areas has some sort of bacteria going on. I am so upset because it meant that the work was not done right for bacteria to get in these spots. uggggh. so I dont have dental insurance and its $30,000 to do all kinds of work. pull out root canal/put in ceramic zirconia. clean out the 3 cavitations. and for whatever reason dentist say its be good for me to wear the invisalign for bottom teeth becaus it crowded inward….not sure what he meant and why this has anything to do with what I came in for which is to see why my right side feels achey around jaw bone/ringing in right ear. at least I did see the areas where he said cavitations are n root canal shows something bad going on. I am just wondering in the meantime can I do something to get to the bacteria and kill it? thank you

Can you use this with mercury fillings in your mouth?

Sorry, more basics. How many days did you do this, and did you have to repeat it? I really want to try it, but without advice. I'll probably do it for four days. Also, how does anyone deal with the garlic breath? Thank you.

DMSO & Mercury??

I had been trying colloidal silver (550ppm, small particle size) with DMSO. For a rear lower molar. No swelling but the pain can get intense overnight. A 3D CT scan didn't show an absolute cause, though it was a cracked tooth which had just been crowned with a zirconia crown a few months ago. The dentist said there did appear to be an amount of an abscess (or at least some kind of pocket of pressure pushing up on that tooth). I did take the round of antibiotics, but it didn't seem to help.

Sometimes it starts feeling well enough at night to where I think it is improving, but then it gets worse again. Have also been taking a mushroom compilation tincture (reishi, maitake, turkey tail, cordyceps, etc) and will drop that by the tooth along with the DMSO and silver too.

But like the last person who asked the question, I was also concerned about the last few mercury fillings in my upper teeth. So I don't swish around but only put drops with a dropper directly next to the tooth, and hold it there as long as I can.

Does anyone know if the DMSO will draw some of the amalgam filling metals into the blood stream as well? I am careful, but I don't think it's possible to completely keep the DMSO from contacting everything else. So might I essentially be creating another potential problem instead of healing the one that's there?

May I ask what do you mean "a head" in "You need to remove this pus and this brought it to a head"? Is the pus cause a head? Or we need to remove the pus until a head show up? Please, please, please explain this.

Oil Pulling, Iodine, Oil of Oregano

I am going to try the oregano. I have a slight ache now...well, had. I use peroxide mixed in with water and hold there 5 min and spit out then do again numerous times a day. Ache went away. Was eating now, so will do it again. I like the oregano idea. I'm gonna try that too. Thanks. Good info.

Bentonite Clay

I have been using Organic Betonite Clay on outside of my face for an abscessed tooth. I have had x-rays on tooth, but it is normal, but dentist said it needs a root canal.. I have been down this road so many times with my teeth, and two previous root canals were pulled with horrendous problems, and am trying to heal this tooth this time on my own, especially where x-ray is normal. It is same pain as root canal, sometimes going down neck, etc. No swelling so far.

My question is, is it advisable to use the clay on the inside of the mouth, on gum where the pain is? I only feel pain if I touch on top of tooth or wash my face, as the sensitive area is next to my nose.. I have been using the clay on outside.

Also, is there anything that would be advised to add to the clay when putting inside of mouth? Thank you in advance.

Did you put the clay inside his mouth or outside his mouth on his face near where the infection was?

HI U EARTHLING,

Glad you posted because I was just about to tell Don that he had the most discipline and tenacity of any feller I have ever seen or heard of. Now you say there is a short cut.

Informed folks know that root canals are a racket thing like so much of the medical field is. Ozone can solve the problem before it starts or after it gets infected. The endodontists are fighting Ozone tooth and nail.

Earthling, I love you, but you were a little flip with your answer. If you really have the solution to this problem then address the problem as if you want to help all man kind. Do it by the numbers such that even an Arkansas Redneck like me can understand.

If you will do that even an iron-ass like me will give you a heart +, and I know my sweet friend somewhere in Europe will also.

This site is rocking and if you have a solution for infected teeth then you are the main rocker.

Talk to us Earthling. ======ORH=====

Thank you! I'm heading to the store right now. I tried cloves this morning and it did nothing. I must be one of those 1 in a million. Go figure.

Thank you for that! I went to the store and of course, no activated charcoal. I have to order the colloidal silver. That should be here when I get back. I looked through my cabinet and I forgot that I had Dr. Schulze's Oral Therapy, Super Tonic and Echinacea Plus. Things you forget about after you move. So I added that all to the regime. I'm going to call a few more stores for the activated charcoal. I hope that will help on the plane.
