Natural Remedies for Boils

Foods to Avoid

This is a remedy, not a cure so to speak. I was having many problems with large and painful boils on my lower buttocks and the back of my thighs. I was taking clydimycin phosphate gel to relieve them, but they kept coming back. One day my husband suggested that the High Fructose Corn Syrup might be the reason. I started to look it up online and they said the sugar fed the bacteria that is naturally on the body. So I stopped eating it and they went away within a few days. I ate some again to see if it was REALLY related and they came back. So I cut it out of my diet and now read labels more carefully since you can't tell by looking if a food has it or not. I no longer have trouble with them.

I started to get them again in my butt crack, so I'm trying the 40% zinc oxide baby butt cream and it feels better already.

i used to get horrible boils (golf ball to baseball size) under my arm pits. i had a doctor suggest that i may have a condition known as (http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/hidradenitis-suppurativa/DS00818) Hidradenitis Suppurativa, he said this was incurable. i do not believe in incurable conditions. After lots of research and a trip to a local allergy specialist i found that was actually allergic to aluminum zirconium, a very common ingredient in antiperspirants (see http://health.howstuffworks.com/question627.htm for more information) i switched to an antiperspirant withouts actually allergic to aluminum zirconium and the boils stopped.
My allergy Dr. told me that alot of people actually get misdiagnosed with Hidradenitis Suppurativa because of boils in the armpit when all that is wrong with them is their choice of antiperspirant. i also want to point out that i have seen this ingredient listed on several feminine hygiene products for moisture control.

i had a staph problem 4 close to 7yrs. of course i started with the doctors antibiotics ciprotab, peflotab etc. actually saw some alternative medical practitioners in my country taking one concotion or another for yrs with no remedy. i luckily had a good relief some 2 yrs ago after i was admitted with an anti biotic drip and took green vegetable juice locally called "ugwu" in my country but like a yr after some boils appeared and it came back.i came across this page on alkanizng ur body and i took the 3* a day teaspoon of baking soda mixed with 1/4 teaspoon of tumeric.i also took colloidal silver internally 3* a day, euchinicae 3* and a garlic tablet made by kwai 3* a day. i took the antibiotic ciprotab afterwards for a week and i felt very much relieved though i still have some mild movements in my stomach. 4 now i am taking the regular baking soda and tumeric mixed in half cup of water 2* daily, euchinicae once and the kwai garlic once. i feel very good but i am thinking of adding the colloidal silver to my supplements to keep it in check.

Tumeric, magnesium & zinc rids boils. Since June of 07 I started getting very painfull boils every few weeks about 20 in total. After several courses of antibiotics failed I began heavy research. Discovered the three ingredients when taken during the first 12 hours stop the bacteria chain which causes the boil from developing. I immediately apply a magnesium/zinc based lotion - found "LaCure Dead Sea foot lotion" works best. It contains, salts, minerals including magnesium & zinc plus it is a natural antibacterial and anti fungal lotion. I apply it 3 times daily. Then I take magnesium with zinc supplements orally 200-400mg daily and also drink a hot tumeric tea 2-3 times a day until the bump is cleared. Usually takes 2-4 days. Since doing this any bumps that appear never advance to full blowm boils and I no longer get the pain that was accompanied. This website helped me alot.
