I use baking soda from childhood and specially as exfoliation for face even if it hurts its worth it and always add to my sponge to rub my body all over as it best cleans than anything else, and if half a cup of soda added to a cool bath(submerge with a head) it removes negativity and balances electromagnetic field of the body.My skin is very good i think as a result.

after learning the basic remedies here and feeling so much better and realizing our skin absorbs anything put on it, i omitted my antiaging skin products and makeup (containing a long list of chemical names) for a few days. I will never go back. i use baking soda for cleanser, vegetable glycerin with a drop of rose-geranium essential oil for moisturizer and burts bees lip shimmer for lipstick and blush can't believe the improvement. i also use borax for bathing and use veg. glycerin and rose-geranium oil for perfume rather than a perfume with all the chemicals. this is a nice soft scent that lasts all day. it's recommended to change the essential oil scent every 2 weeks

I just tried baking soda as a facial scrub. It worked incredibly well! My face has never felt so clean! Because I have acne and I was looking for cures for it and/or scarring I also read about using honey on the face. So after I use the scrub, I apply honey to my face and leave it on for 10 or so minutes, then rinse. It feels really good and takes care of any dryness without oiliness. The combination makes my skin SO soft and the texture is uniform. That is a first. Thanks Earth Clinic! I've tried so many products. I will report if I see any difference with scarring and acne, but I think my acne is a hormonal problem, since it only flairs up once a month.

Washing with baking soda twice a day is an inexpensive way to clean out and minimize the appearance of large pores. Splash warm water on the face and lightly exfoliate with a substantial amount of baking soda. By the second washing, one will see a noticeable difference! I began doing this at the age of 21 and I have not bought a facial cleanser since. I am 26 years old. I always get compliments on my complexion and some believe I am wearing foundation when I am not!

Possibly the cheapest facial scrub you can buy! Add 3 or 4 tablespoons of baking soda to 1 or 2 tablespoons of water. Rub vigorously all over the face, paying extra attention to problem areas. If you have really dry skin, add just a tad of olive oil to help moisturize. Rinse off. I had moderate to severe acne that medications didn't cure. Baking soda is a salt, and so it aids in killing bacteria. Also, it is great for really sensitive skin because it won't irritate. If anyone has tried Time Wise Microdermabrasion, this mix feels exactly like that!

Use baking soda with your bath soap as an all over body scrub. Just a little sprinkled on a wash cloth will do it. It will make your skin feel soft and smooth.
