When I red about cayenne at Earth Clinic first time I run to the kitchen to try it. I had wonderful experience! It was almost nirvana like. I was rested and full of energy. Since then I take it usually before bed time. I wake up in the morning without awful bags under my eyes and my feet aren't swollen at all. I told about cayenne paper one of my clients who is over 2 years on chemotherapy. She decided to try it. Most difficult for that lady are mornings (blood pressure is about 50/80!). Guess what happened? After 20 min we checked and her blood pressure was 127/73! We didn't check again but for the next couple hrs which are usually most difficult to get through during the day, she was OK! I got this idea from information to use cayenne paper as a first aid in a case of heart attack. Thank you Earth Clinic. If it didn't save a life it made it possible to live!

I began reading about cayenne pepper and acv after realizing the pills i take for my heart, high bp, circulation and high colesterol were not working. B4 i started drinking the cayenne pepper tea i could not walk a half a block. Now, i can walk for one mile and my leg does not hurt. I have had heart attack, two leg by-pass surgeries. My energy level is great and I just can't believe my leg does not hurt. I also went to the doctor after not taking my bp medicine for 5 days and drinking the tea 2-3 times a day. Usually if i go that long w/out my medicine, my bp is sky high. This time my bp was norman. I mean normal. I was amazed. I still take my fluid pill to release those fluids but I feel great. thx ever so much

For High Blood Pressure, I have tried the Cayenne Pepper and Golden Seal capsules. I would generally take two in the morning and 2 in the evening. Worked pretty good. I also have tried the apple cider vinegar and that works well too. 2 to 3 tsp 3 times a day did it for me.

I luv to share this. I was told as a 40-something African Amer woman, that I was borderline hypertensive and put on meds. Not good. I was falling asleep. Also no good to cut the dose -- comatose.

A friend told me about a folk remedy - cayenne pepper. She said it needed to be organic cayenne- it's stronger, I guess. I am now over 50 and my pressure is usually in the range of 110/70.

I do take a 12mg. water pill to keep me from retaining water also. I started with @1/4 tsp (of cayenne) in any liquid you want 2x a day. If needed, you can up this to 1/2 tsp but do this slowly so your body can adjust to the increase.

Now I do watch my salt intake but I only use the cayenne when I have had a particularly salty dish.

When my doctor first told me I had high blood pressure and then he had prescribed me bp pills my first thought was I will fill the prescription as a back up but I refused to take them without first RESEARCHING natural alternatives.

I chose powdered cayenne pepper and in the beginning it did raise my bp but then after 2 days it normalized.

I love the results of cayenne pepper 1/2 tsp in a small amount of warm faucet water is what did it for me and continues to do it for me. It is cheap and highly effective but don't do it on an empty stomach, I did and it wasn't a good feeling. I felt like I wanted to vomit, my mouth kept watering and my stomach felt weird but only for about 5 minutes, afterwards I felt great.

It helped me out again in a major surgery I had back in March, my healing was rapid and amazing.

You do not need organic or any special type of water a small amount of warm faucet water and the regular grocery store cayenne pepper works perfectly fine.

I don't believe in hyping others up with you must take organic and the water must be either this type or that type but if taking organic makes you personally feel better than that's great.

I only paid $1 at the grocery store for my powered cayenne pepper and the warm faucet water was free it just doesn't get any better than that and I had amazing results each time.

And please before any gets offended I am not putting down organic anything nor am I against organic I just personally do not help spread the deception that it must be organic to be effective because my results have proved organic is not necessary to achieve great results like mine.

This afternoon I was driving home and I was really sleepy. I was thinking about all I had to do when I got home and...so I started to think about coffee. Yum. I figured that would perk me up to do what needed doing. At the same time, I notice that my gall bladder area was just a bit off. The last thing it needed was coffee. :(

When I got home I put 1/2 a teaspoon of cayenne pepper into a mug with grape juice and drank it up.

I have to admit, I think it worked as well as coffee. I was able to do what needed to be done and didn't feel tired. And I didn't aggravate my gall bladder. But, alas, I have to admit that cayenne pepper in grape juice is not nearly so delicious as a good cup of coffee would have been...

Mama to Many--

Thanks so much for all the info you post on this website. Since I discovered the site I have tried many of the remedies and most all of them have worked! Along with many others on here, I appreciate every person who shares their knowledge. I rarely post anything because its too hard using my tablet, which is what I am on 99% of the time. I had tried the cayenne pepper in some coffee recently, for the same reason you did, and was happy that it gave me the energy to finish some household chores. I am very close to the same age as you and my main complaint about getting older is the loss of energy. Its very frustrating. Cayenne works...even though it doesn't taste so good. I plan on trying aloe vera also...adding it to a smoothie. (cut from the aloe plant). I tell everybody I know about Earthclinic and how many wonderful, natural remedies there are for just about anything that ails you. By the way, several months ago I had an ear that was closed up. It persisted for 2 weeks and almost drove me crazy. Nothing really helped too much. But cayenne came to the rescue again: immediately after I took a little (mixed) my ear made a popping sound and I could hear again! Good stuff :-)

Infections

Cayenne pepper has cured all the infections I have tried it on, even sinus or intestinal ones. Some people seem to be more sensitive whether on their skin or internally. I saw a guy on a travel show and ate hot peppers in Mexico, and 2 hrs later he said he was still burning.

Only problem that hot pepper gives me is that I will hiccup if it is too hot, or I eat too much at once. It must send my esophagus into spasms, but they don't last long and eating bread will stop them or the burning in my mouth. I was really concerned when I wanted to try it up my nose for completely blocked sinuses, but I was desperate, so I diluted it a Lot more than I would gargle with, and had the phone handy to call 911, to call the fire dept, to have them put a hose up my nose.)) I thought hard about the risks, but never heard any warnings, even for putting in the eyes for eye problems. It will burn, and I have gotten some in my eyes, but the burn doesn't last. Inhaling the dry, powdered pepper will make you sneeze like Never before.

Anyone worried about using hot pepper should do a search. There is a lot of info and products for sale, even for the sinuses. I even cured a urinary tract infection in 2 days. There I boiled the cayenne and salt which I always add to the mix, and think it helps, and it Tastes better.) I boiled the mix to get whatever does the curing, capsaicin, oils, or what, into solution, since I didn't think the pepper particles would get to or go through my bladder.

Whenever there is a problem whether infection or pain, just try to figure how to get the cayenne to the site, or even like the bronchial tubes. It will draw heat to the site, increasing blood flow and blood and the lymph fluid in us carries white cells, that does healing. They sell Mustard plasters that do the same things, and they have been around for ages. Vince F

Cayenne: I just found your site and am responding to a message from 2006 about cayenne for the sinus. I have chronic sinus problems, it got so bad once that I was desperate. I usually put 1/2 teaspoon of salt in a large glass of warm water and snuff it up my nose. Well, I added a pinch of cayenne to the saline. I snuffed it up my nose, and it burned for about two seconds, then the burning quickly subsided. Yes, it stopped what I suppose was a sinus infection. Any way I felt better for a long time. Gary

Inner Ear Infection

Cayenne Tamed Symptoms from Inner Ear Infection:

I have been suffering with an inner ear infection/disorder for the past six months - vestibular neuritis - and if you've ever had to deal with this or viral labyrinthitis then u know it is incredibly debilitating. I have brain fog, vertigo (my sense of movement/motion feels like I'm walking on a rocking boat all day), joint/muscle/nerve pain, weakened vision....and the list goes on. About 3 months ago, I started noticing how my heart was racing and that sometimes I'd experience this incredible head pressure (it felt like someone put a vice on my head!) - when I took my BP - my reading was 145/96! I'm only 30 and my pressure has never been this high. Well, I happened upon earthclinic one night and was amazed by all the testimonies from people praising how cayenne helped lower their pressure. Seeing as I've been trying everything under the clear blue sky to not only get rid of this devilish infection but bring my pressure back to normal - I tried the recommendation of 1 teaspoon to a cup of hot water. Not knowing if it'd work - I was floored when I realized how immediate it did!! The head pressure went away almost instantly and my heart rate normalized! Before cayenne - BPM was 91 - after: BPM 73!! I will never stop this remedy!

Other benefits from drinking it initially at 2x/day - regular bowel movements, reduction in joint/muscle pain, ear congestion went away, vision got better (only slightly) and lymph node under my right jaw (right ear is infected) began to slowly shrink. Granted I take a lot of antioxidants so I don't know if the synergistic effect plays a role. Only thing now is - the infection is still there - I still suffer w/ the vertigo and am mainly managing my symptoms until I can get more conclusive answers. Last Ear doc I went to told me there was nothing he could do for me. How depressing.....any advice on how to get rid of this "thing"? A co-worker recommended colloidal silver. If I could just get my balance back........I'd be ecstatic!! Your thoughts are appreciated! Great site this is! :0)

To: Better But Not Cured (and I'll add...yet!)

I'm not sure if this will help but I notice that when I use a Netti Pot with Sea Salt (must be sea salt, not regular salt) for my sinuses it opens up my ears as well. Also, at this site for cancer: http://www.curenaturalicancro.com/ one person wrote: "I've got a lump about the size of a quarter in the back of my neck. It's been there 2 years. It seems to be located at the bottom of my ear canal. I've been putting sodium bicarbonate mixed with water down my ear canal for a few days and the lump is shrinking. The doctors I went to wanted to cut it out and biopsy it. I said no thank you, I don't want it to spread. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your work. S. M." I've learned that are bodies need to be the proper pH. Perhaps this will help you. Good luck. Thank you to everyone for all the wonderful benefits of cayenne that I'm just learning about. :)

I would say absolutely YES on cayenne. Having worked for Dr. Richard Schulze, he uses cayenne in most every tonic, including his Deep Tissue Oil. You can buy cayenne in bulk (the hotter the better) and add to an oil base.

When I first started using cayenne I would do a tablespoon, this was way too much! I use this mix for sinus problems and sore throats. It is amazingly fast. In a matter of 10-15 minutes a sore throat subsides to almost nothing. I drank it for the first time today for what I think is a migraine after looking up the remedy on here. I am very surprised, I can report now that after 10 minutes my headache is a dull throb. I actually was in such pain this morning that I was vomiting. I will take some more in about an hour or two to help knock it the rest of the way out.

I will tell you I literally just finished off a cup of my Cayenne pepper mix. I like things strong so I mix 1 cup of boiling water and a teaspoon of Cayenne with a chicken bouillon cube for taste. I know the cube isn't the healthiest but I can't bring myself to drink tea, honey and cayenne. You may want a 1/2 teaspoon.

Hope this helps.

I take a tspn of cayenne twice a day in hot water with my green tea, ACV and bicarb soda. You can't taste the ACV. I can feel the cayenne moving through my body and feel wonderful afterwards. I am trying to get rid of some varicous veins. Recently the cayenne stopped a migraine which I normally get for days in its tracks. Stop Bleeding Fast! One of natures best remedies for cuts (even deep punctures) is believe it or not: Cayenne Pepper! This wonderful plant can be grown and therefore no "factory" will be necessary. To use - apply liberally on wound. The wound will form a scab and heal much quicker than with even sutures and with no scarring.

From the book: Cayenne Pepper medicinal uses:

Major benefits - Stops Bleeding (internal or external), Heart attack, stroke, or Shock, Dissolves clots.

Minor Benefits - Reviving, Fainting, Dizziness, Weakness, Confusion.

PROPERTIES & ACTIONS: Stimulant (improves blood circulation), diaphoretic (increases perspiration), carminative (improves digestion), tonic (strengthens and energizes a particular body organ or the entire body system), sialogue (stimulates secretion of saliva), rubefacient (increases superficial circulation, which often lessens localized pain from arthritis, inflammation, etc. , antiseptic (kills or controls the growth of bacteria).

Here is an excerpt from the book for an internal use:
Cayenne can be applied to open wounds or taken orally to stop bleeding. Nosebleeds, deep cuts, even arterial gushing will stop within seconds. Blood pressure is equalised throughout the body so there is no excessive pressure on the haemorrhage area and it can clot naturally.
