Natural Parvo Treatment for Dogs

Bonnie and her Brother Clyde were found in a burlap sack in a very deep ditch, and has come down with parvo. I took her to the vet and have I.V. solution but as you know the diarrhea and stomach upset are a big issue. I mixed coconut water with coconut milk and aloe vera water to help with hydration and to get some nutrient in her. I also gave her some pepto to help with stomach upset. I will keep you posted but she is no longer fighting the coconut water mix but is allowing me to put it in her mouth so she can drink it.

I gave my puppy with parvo electrolytes every hour and a dropper of colloidal silver every 2hours...after 3 days..I fed her raw egg....she pulled through..But now I have a new puppy whom I didn't bring home until he had his first 2 shots..He became sick last night after eating a capsule of garlic. He threw up last night a few times and today he has diarrhea but not bloody..plus he's drinking water on his own???

My neighbors dog had her litter of puppies and the puppies contracted the parvo-virus, one puppy had died. He was desperate to find a natural cure due to the fact that the vet bill would have been staggering for 7 puppies. He searched the web to find a natural cure and kept finding that colloidal silver helps cure parvo. He called me, knowing that I make colloidal silver. I treated all the puppies and the next morning they were up and playing and eating again.. My neighbor and I were both quite shocked at the sudden turn around. Treatment for Parvo - Activated Charcoal and Pedialyter

You can find AC at your local drug store; aquariums stores have some in a pinch, but its granulated and you would need to use a coffee grinder or food processor to pulverize it into fine powder.

Activated Charcoal works especially well when used with electrolytes to combat the dehydration that occurs with the diarrhea. You can make this recipe at home:

Homemade Pedialyte

• 4 cups of water (boiled or bottled drinking water)
• 1/2 teaspoon Morton lite salt (because it has potassium in it as well as sodium chloride) Can use regular table salt if you have to.
• 2 Tablespoons sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon flavored jello or sodium free broth to add some flavor

Start with 1 cup of electrolyte solution in a small jar with a lid; add 2 heaping tablespoons of AC and then put the lid on and shke to blend. This goes into a syringe well and then can be placed into your dog's mouth; tip the head back and gently depress the plunger to allow him to drink it slowly.

If your dog has an appetite, you can mix the AC into canned dog food and make that a bit wetter and sloppier by adding the electrolyte solution to the wet food. The virus generally does not kill the dog - its the resulting dehydration that does the damage - so make sure you get those electrolytes down.

To start, dose the plain electrolyte solution every 20 minutes or so - however much he will take - to combat the dehydration. Every 2 hours or so dose the AC and electrolyte mixture - however much you can get down. You don't state the breed of your pup, so a Chihuahua might get 2 cc's while a pitbull might get four times that. Now, a 4 week old puppy would normally have 4-6 solid food meals or more since he should still be nursing on his mom. So offer your pup the wet AC and electrolyte loaded food at least 4 times a day for 5 days and up to 7 days. In the early stages it is critical to get the electrolytes and AC down, so if he won't eat canned food don't force him, just focus on getting the electrolytes and AC down for the first 24-48 hours.

I had a 4 month old pitbull that got diagnosed with parvo the vet gave her an anti-viral shot and sent her home because we couldn't afford to admit her and told us be prepared for her not to make it just make her comfortable. Then some one told us to try mixing a egg and goats milk together and givng via needless syringe very couple hour and pedialite every 15 minutes that way she was getting some protien and calcium along with hydration even though she vomited it up most of the time after 3 days of round the clock care. On christmas eve she started drinking and eating on her own and eventually made a full recovery.

I've cured parvo in puppies about 8 times so far with grapefruit seed extract.

I dilute 5 drops in 1 ounce of water and give them a couple dropper fulls of the mixture every hour around the clock until they start to feel better, I then reduce to two hours and so on. I continue the treatment for a couple days.

Once there was two pups from a litter who were sick, my puppy and one another person was purchasing...I tried pursuing him to have me try cure him but he decided to bring it to the vet. 600$ later and a dead puppy, mine was thriving and back on its feet. It worked every time for me!

My lovely Great Dane/mastiff/staghound 6mth female pup came down with the first symptoms of parvo on Tuesday evening. She refused to eat her dinner, which is very uncharacteristic for such a afst growing pup. since 7.5 weeks only she has only eaten a raw diet, which is helpful in the prevention of parvo. This was unintentional on my part, as a raw diet of meat, bones and animal parts is a normal doet for a canine. However, she still caught the virus. Tuesday morning she still refused to eat and was starting to show signs of lethargy. She still refused to eat Wednesday and the debate about a vet visit started. We monitored her closely, as any abnormal behaviour in an animal can be indicative of illness. By Thursday she was vomiting. Most days she consumes vast amounts of water and likes to remain cool. thursday evening she was depressed, lethargic, the sexondary membrane of her eye was inflamed, showing very red all around the eyes and she was standing still in her pool of water. It was too late for the vet by this stage. We spent the night watching her, she continued vomiting showing the first signs of threatening dehydration.

Friday morning we rushed to the vet with her, didn't even call first. Luckily we have been attending the same vet clinic with all of our animals for nearly 15 years. They brought her in immediately after a brief history was taken by the vet nurse. My little girl had a temp of 39.4 degrees C, she weighed in at 24.4 kgs and had lost most of the lovely condition she had previously. Large puppies lose weight very quickly. The vet admitted her immediately for IV fluids and anitbiotics, anti nausea medication and medication for diarrhoea. The vet let me know that especially heading into the weekend, I was looking at a cost of thousands. Which I most certainly can't afford.

She spent on night at the vets and this morning, Saturday, I picked her up. The vets were not particularly supportive in our decision to bring her home. During the night she had started having bloody projectile diarrhoea.

In preparation for bring her home we bought some essential supplies, as we had never had to deal with parvovirus before.

~ puppy training pads to contain the expected mess.

~apple cider vinegar for disinfecting and for treatment.

~aloe Vera juice for nutrients

~large syringes for subcutaneous saline injections for hydration, this is vastly important as most oral liquid will be vomited and cause a chain reaction of further dehydration

~subcutaneous needles from the vet, as the pharmacy required a prescription

~saline solution from the pharmacy for subcutaneous injections

~rectal thermometer from pharmacy

~plastic drop sheeting in a roll from the hardware store, protection for furniture and walls. I'm damn serious about the mess.

Luckily for me I'm visiting my parents and my father is a homeopath. After checking her behaviour, symptoms and response to stimuli he determined to use Absinicum Album 1M. I had already as a precaution given her 2 homeopathics as first aid, these were:

~virus and bacteria

~nux vomica

Once we got her home, she pooped blood and vomited bile, which is an amber colour, at 10:30am. we gave her as many subcutaneous saline injections in the next 5 hours that we could without causing too much stress. I monitored her closely, I doused her with Absinicum album roughly every 30-60min. I cut back on the nux vomica and only used it when she was excessively drooling or was clearly nauseous. I mixed a splash of apple cider vinegar with about 1/3 aloe Vera juice and 2/3 water. I've been using the large syringe to force feed her roughly 15-20ml of liquid every 15-30, unless she was sleeping.

By 5:30pm this evening, Saturday, she can move about on her own and started hovering near the door to the room we'd isolated her in. I carried her out to a section of lawn that's separate from our other animals. She had 2 bouts of bloody diarrhoea and urinated twice, her urine was not overly yellow, indicating that she was hydrated enough that her kidneys were not suffering overly. I carried her back inside and continued the above treatment. However, her temperature climbed to 40 degrees C. Her eyes became bloody again and were weeping. I gave her virus and bacteria homeopathic whenever her eyes became red. I wet down her paws and forelegs to cool her fever and drain the heat from her head.

By 10:30 her paws are cool, her tummy is pleasantly warm and no longer blisteringly hot, her eyes are not red. She's been out to toilet again and only had one bout of diarrhoea and urinated once. Tolerated 3 sal injections, and has held down liquids for 3-4 hours at a time.

We're not out of the woods yet, but she can walk, and is not incontinent. Is cranky about her injection and will get up and have a weak tantrum about the entire affair. Things are looking good. My partner is taking the night shift, as he is much more confident with giving the injections, especially on his own. He'll wake me in case of anything he doesn't know how to deal with. Fingers crossed my angel continues making such progress.

The simple instructions I've left my partner are as follows:

1. If she's drooling give her nux vomica

2. If her eyes are going red give her virus and bacteria

3. Every 2-3 hrs give her Absinicum album, especially if she's has a bout of bloody diarrhoea

4. No more than 50ml of liquid per 30-60 min, less if vomiting is frequent, don't let her drink too much herself even if she wants to. Slow and steady wins the race.

5. Only check her temp if she feels overly hot

6. Don't wake her if she's sleeping properly

7. Do wake her if shes gone for more than an hour without a saline injection.

No treatment is really a guarantee with parvovirus, but I have seen a dramatic improvement in less than 24 hrs. Bear in mind that homeopathics may often initial present with a strong reaction, maybe an increase in temp, don't panic, ride it out. Hold off on the homeopathic until the signs are there that it's required. After the second dose of Absinicum album her temp soared for about 30min. Keep hydration up is the number one priority. At one stage during the day, I noticed her shuddering when she inhaled. My father gave her another homeopathic called merc sol, the shuddering stopped within 15min. Started again about 3 hours later and stopped almost immediately after a second dose.

So, with your remedy which is good on your site with Parvovirus in puppies. You can add some of the following. I will state the reasoning as well for this natural remedy:

1. Hot English Mustard Powder

Reasoning: Parvovirus is an intestinal parasite (Bacteria, viral etc). The bacteria multiply in the intestines similar to that of worms. Administering Hot English Mustard powder eliminates and helps eradicate these parasites inside the intestines and bowel.

Dosage: A tiny little bit - around the size of a small capsule 5mm size.

Administration: This should be administered dry, and directly onto the tongue/toward the back of the throat. Have a syringe ready with some boiled and cooled (sterile) water to wash down the mustard powder. It does burn, but subsides very fast. As soon as the pup/dog has swallowed most of it, slowly syringe it down with some cool (room temperature) water. Any change in temperature may affect the very sensitive intestinal area. You can either use your finger to put it at the back of the tongue (safest), or a spoon (not advised as most pups will bite down on this and damage their teeth).

Parvo healed:

Using food grade hydogen peroxide kills parvo. Put 3 drops in a dog's big bowl of water.

For Parvo give a few drops of MMS for about three days. See the info online.

I know dogs have been cured with this . Look up MMS website, Jim Humble. They have a section on pets. I use MMS myself. Quite affordable.

Also two of my old cats went off food, lost a lot of weight and I knew from experience this was it. However I tried MMS on them and they, being twenty years old , are doing fine three months later. I never give antibiotics as they cause fungal disease and low immune system where the gut never recovers from the depletion of good bacteria. Om

My Remedy was MMS for Parvo in dogs.

Yesterday, my 7wk female pup, suddenly came down with symptoms of Parvo, loss of appetite, refusing even water, for an entire day, and then morning diarehha, was slimmy and bloody, pressure forcing out, litterly pushing pup's back end off the ground. Then vomiting frothy slime that appeared clear. Then extreme listlessness, tired, sleeping more than usual and deep sleep, weakness increased, by late afternoon, could not balance, and diarehha became more bloody and dark pudding like, very slimy near end finish. Followed by high fever. Dehydration set in, skin non elastic, drastic weight loss. Could not afford Vet bill, and as Parvo has 90 ath rate as incurable. But intended to get pup vaccinated as appt is in 1 wk. Been taking MMS myself for over a year, with good results. Immediately, started pup on only MMS 1/4 drop ratio, i.e., 1 quarter of 1 drop ratio. The ratio is 3 drops per 25 pounds. This pup was under 5 pounds, therefore I used a quarter of a drop ratio with 4 oz. of water, and alternating with Electrolytes, and then boiled concentrated Barley water. Fed alternating MMS low doses with small bent dropper and Electrolytes first, at side of mouth for pup to lick and swallow, every 10, 15minutes. Then cooled concentrated barley water(boiled down to thick consistency)alternating also with dropper.

Saw immediate change within an hr. Dog was playful, after barley water dog wanted actually to eat its kibble. Next day diarrhea not as liquid, no blood, and dog is drinking and eating on own, playful, actually wanted to run. Fever gone and nose feels cool and wet, gums are good pink return when pressed. I will still watch symptoms with caution and change to bland diet for next 2wks till healed, as there may be damage in the intestinal lining due to blood. I will also continue MMS low dosage in daily drinking water. Will update new data. Thks, Virginia

I also cured my puppy with parvo with activated charcoal and mms. She was only a couple of months old, so I gave her .5-1 drop activated mms, 3x/day. In between, I give her activated charcoal with lots of water and electrolytes from a needle-less syringe. Keep them hydrated as much as possible. It took 2-3 days. I use mms for everything. It's a miracle cure.

For many years we had Chow Chow's and only seriously problems we had with them was hotspot. Then my wife decided that we should get smaller dogs and after some research we decided on the Chinese Crested. Both was about five months old when Max started getting sick and somewhere I had read there was parvo in the air. So, I get on the Net and looking for symtoms of parvo. Yes, Max had parvo and we decided to take him to the vet and two day later Max died. This was Thuesday morning. The family was broken and in meantime Joey show the same symtoms - PARVO. What was bad for me, was how Max had suffer and I decided Joey will not follow the same path as Max.

After been on the Net and specific Earth Clinic we deciced to keep Joey at home and doctored her ourself. Although I had MMS and Hydrogen Peroxide foodgrade, I decided to go for Colliodal Silver and we started to treathed Joey. She was not getting sicker but also not better. We also make sure she get all the time enough liquid. My wife and son had taken leave, to be at home to keep an eye on Joey.

Then Thursday afternoon after seeing the suffering in Joey eyes, I prayed to God and asked him why. She is not part of the man who must suffered for their sins. The word I then get from God was - MMS. I told my wife that we will use MMS and gave Joey the first dose. Friday morning I could see Joey had improved a lot. What I had learned was that the eyes tell you if your dog is getting better or not. Where Joey eyes was glassy and some brown in the white of her eyes Thursday night, it was clear and livingly Friday morning. We gave her her second dose. At 14H00 I came home and could she she looks much better, but something bother me is that she hadn't eat for five days. After talking with my wife , we decided to get some activated charcoal. We gave Joey one tablet at 16H00 and sometime at 17H00 for the first time she eat something, very little. Not long after that she vomit a little and something tell me that it is a good sign. We gave her, her third dose of MMS at 18H00 and at 20H00 we gave her an another activated charcoal tablet with some Pro- nutro.

Now, today Saturday morning she ate her food completly and walked and sniffing all around in our yard to see what she had missed out. She even chewed her bone, which she hadn't do it for the past five days and she loves her bones. I can only thanks God and my family.

The doses of MMS was made in a 50 ml glass - first was three drops sodium chlorite and 15 drops citric acid and then use a 2,5 ml syring twice. Second dose was four drops s/c and twenty drops c/a, 2.5 ml syring twice. Third dose, 5 drops s/c and 25 drops c/a, 2.5 ml syring once - fourth dose same as third. Make sure to follow the correct methods of making the MMS. Also ensure, when giving the activated charcoal, there is a time of two hours after last intake of what ever your dog had and again two hours your dog can get some food after taking the a/c.

Hope this will help you guys and most important trust God and stay possitive. Thursday afternoon was my and Joey turning point. I was at that point where I want take Joey to the vet and hope for the best, then I listened to the voice of our wonderfull God and use MMS, therefor thanks to Jim Humble who discover MMS, really a miracle supplement.

5 week old puppy classic parvo.

Our method:

• 1 cup Gatorade
• 1 teaspoon Diatomaceous Earth
• 1 teaspoon or urine..i used my own .
• 1 capful Apple Cider Vinegar
• 2 to 4 activated charcoal tablets with magnesium..cvs anti gass brand
• 1 probiotics capsule.
• 1 raw egg( the egg separate) only gave after gagging stopped on day 5.
• Raw coconut oil( would rub his gums and tongue with it and try to get some down him )
• Marijana smoke ( we would blow a small amount around him before forcing solution )it stopped him from gagging so much.

Every 2 hours first 3 or 4 days gave mixture without fail.

Day 5 he looked like he would die. We just kept up the schedule every 2 hours trying to force as much solution as possible..set an alarm waking hours ever 2 hours sleeping hours every 3 or 4 hours..we all work and or school this was not easy ..we look like zombies the puppy looks better.

Day 6 started forcing raw egg in addition to the solution.

Day 7 he is up playing and drinking and eating on his own...i made him boiled chicken n rice he eats like he is starving and has normal bowl movements I think we won...i am going to continue with the charcoal solution for a few more days.

They may look worse before they look better ..just keep dosing them with electrolyte and fluid n charcoal. Stay on schedule set alarms ... I felt like giving up thought was a lost cause ..but I think he will make it ..now...on day 5 we started with the egg this seemed to snap him out of his coma. Like state but prior to this the egg came straight up ..i think you got to get them holding the fluids first ..but they do need the egg after a few days ...

If you plan to save them don't plan to sleep...but they can be saved.

Oh also loving on him a lot and telling him we love him and want him and praying to God.

This is the second dog I saved ..the first one I used Pedialyte and Pepto..both survived.

The number one thing is to be their iv pole ..squirt fluids in their mouth as much as humanly possible...don't stop and don't give up ..stay on schedule. That's the key..

OMG! OMG! I've lost 3 dogs total to parvo over the last 8 years. (Chihuahuas) Just recently in the last 2 days I lost the 3rd puppy to parvo. Now I have an entire litter of 4 puppies sick with either parvo or distemper! None would eat or drink anything for 3 days! I thought I was going to die from stress! Through trial and error, I have discovered that these things work wonders and I would swear by it. We aren't out of the woods yet but I had to share this because they haven't moved in 3 days. Came home, pumped my puppies full of all that! They gobbled down the goat's milk and were immediately up playing within 2 minutes. The one puppy tired out pretty quick. But the other 2 are up roaming around. These dogs had not budged for 3 days! 3 whole days! And they are up playing! And running and drinking water!
