Hi everyone.. I have the book by father Romano. He goes through many recipes and finally posts his conclusive recipe selection as:
1. Half a kilo (1.1 lbs.) of honey. Do not use synthetic or refined honeys and general fakes.
2. Between 40 and 50 ml (6-8 tsps) of grappa, whisky, cognac, etc. (pure alcohol, wine, beer and liqueurs cannot be used).
Note: 40-50 ml is the equivalent of a measure of whisky or a small coffee cup.
3. 350 grams (.77 lbs.) of Aloe arborescens leaves. Use three or four leaves, depending on their length.
I WILL ALSO QUOTE SOME RELEVANT PARTS:
"Remove dust or any other impurities left on the Aloe leaves by nature. Use an old cloth, dry or dampened, or a sponge, with- out getting the leaves wet (no water is used in the preparation)."
"After preparation of the blend, it is normal for the honey – the heaviest ingredient – to sink to the bottom of the jar;the foamy part tends to rise to the top. Shake the jar well to mix the ingredients before taking it."

You forgot to mention the most important element, otherwise the recipe will not be effective:
In the book " Cancer Can be Cured! " page 31,1st edition in English February 2002
I read:
HOW TO PREPARE:
. The Aloe plant must be at least five years old;
. Pick the leaves IN THE DARK;
. After five days without rain;
. do not pick with frost;
. PREPARE IN THE DARK,
. prepare immediately after picking;
Keep the preparation in A DARK JAR in the fridge,
. TAKE IN THE DARK ( the reason is that both sunlight and artificial light must be avoided because Aloe contains a substance that reacts to cancer and, in contact with either sunlight or artificial light, this automatically loses its effect).

Hi Manuel!
Not sure why they use weights because I googled it and the aloe/honey liquid measuring is about the same, like 1 TBS of honey and 1 TBS aloe, just like the ACV and honey mix from the folk remedies book. A TBS aloe, a TBS of honey and a couple droppers of whiskey so you can make it fresh every day because it doesn't have to be perfect like the book says you can add more honey if you don't like the taste. I blended up a few days aloe with a stick blender and keep it in the cooler and filled a dropper bottle with good whisky because cheap whisky was even worse.

My grandmother drank the aloe vera, honey, and alcohol mix for about 20 years. She never smoked, never drank, was pretty healthy until she got cancer that spread all over and died shortly after. I don't know if this is really the miracle that heals.

Was it Aloe Vera Arborescens she took, not Aloe Vera?
That is the key I have heard. I have many growing in my yard now. Also, I do not take a remedy all the time, just on occasion for maintenance. If I get sick, I load up (I do it with vitamin C, Zinc and D3 all the time if I feel a cold or flu/throat issue). It's possible the aloe might not work for everyone. I survived cancer and Aloe Arborescens was one of "a few" things I did (also did Chemo and Radiation the first time; yes had it twice). Maybe I just got lucky also. I did MMS (others can google) and I took extra Selenium (per a holistic person). I'm sorry about your Grandmother. I lost mine before I knew of these things to try, and it was not fast but she was in her 70's. Anyway, I figured I would chime in. When it's you with the cancer, trust me, you will try it all. I did and I spent many sleepless nights on the internet. On a final note, I also believe in the Lord as well.

Fr. Zago's Aloe Formula
I'm just finishing off a bottle of the aloe formula and have to say that I feel extra good. I can't really say in what way as I wasn't feeling bad before I started it but it's definitely doing something. Possibly age related, as I'm at the age when I equate feeling extra good with feeling youthful. Anyway, I've just been taking it on an empty stomach as I don't actually do the "three meals per day" thing and I think the greatest effect comes from taking it at bedtime.
I bought mine from Deca Aloe...something or other, I forget - I.e. I didn't make it myself as my aloe plant is just small.

I mail to say that people who are continuing the aloe vera honey combo for a longer period should have it for 10 days, take a break of 10 days, another 10 days of the remedy, and so on. It is not meant for continuous use. This way it can be taken till the illness is cured.
There is a confusion on whether this combo should be taken before or after meals.(The website mentioned says only after a meal). Many people I know who take it as a cancer preventive (once a year 2 10 day doses with a 10 day gap in between), take it 15 - 30 minutes before a meal.

Cancer and Leukemia:
This remedy has been popular in many hispanic countries and many people have claimed that it works wonderfully. Fray Romano Zago -a Brazilian fray who came up with this nice remedy and has used it for several years to cure people successfully- says that this remedy works for all types of cancer (skin, lungs, blood, breast, ovary, etc.). Some people say that it's very effective, even for cancer in terminal stage.
Look for an Aloe vera plant that is 3 years old or more. Clean 2 big leaves (or 3 small leaves) and remove the serrated margins (what look like thorns).
Cut the Aloe leaves in small pieces and put them in a blender or a mixer. Add half kilogram or 500 mL pure honey and 3 tablespoons of whisky (cognac, tequila or other kind of alcoholic beverage would be good too; this is a vessel dilator).
Mix everything until until you obtain a viscous mass. It is ready. You don't need to strain the remedy (just be careful that there are no sharp leaf margins left). Put it in a jar or container.
Directions For Use: Shake the jar very well. Take a big tablespoon, 3 times per day, 15 minutes before each meal. Do this for 10 days. Have a medical check to see if the tumor has reduced. If you don't achieve the desired results after this number of days, repeat the treatment a second time, or a third, or a fourth time until you get cured.
Side Effects: It might produce skin abscesses (but this is a sign that it is working).
Expected Results: In one week you will start seeing results.

Hi Val, I have never used this remedy and hopefully never will have to but from all the research I do, I would venture to say that you should not just buy aloe vera juice to replace the original recipe of fresh aloe from the leaves. The reason being is you have no idea how the aloe has been compromised in its process that whoever made it uses. Often the farther we get from the original form, the less effective. When you are serious about getting really good results you never want to compromise with ingredients. I have been taking fresh leaves from my aloe vera plant and opening carefully to access the gel inside and applying it directly to my skin. The leaves can last a long time. I would recommend reading about fresh aloe vera plants online. Also, just so you know, you can obtain either live plants or just the fresh leaves online. Hope this helps, Lisa

Lisa, thanks...that makes sense. i know where to get aloe vera gel at health food store. so just thought i'd see if could use gel or juice. my next guestion is how many teaspoon/table spoon or cup in 1/2 kg or 500 ml, that's how much honey suppose to use.

Hi Val, Personally I am not good with measurements at all and can hardly keep track of the units we use here in the US let alone conversions into others. So, what I do is go to the computer and google measurement conversions and a slew of sites show up! Also, make sure that the honey you use is true raw honey as this has not been heated and adulterated. You want all those enzymes and nutrients that are in the real thing. Hope this helps. Lisa

Val, when I got this recipe it called for a liter (33.814 ounces) of natural honey, 2 good sized leafs or 3 (medium size) and 6 tablespoons of the liquor (cognac, vodka,etc.) Hope this helps. Cheers!!!!

Hi, I was just reading about the aloe, brandy and honey for cancer. Just have a few questions: isn't alcohol bad to drink if you have cancer and honey is sugar, isn't sugar a fuel for cancer? Thank you

Father Romanos recipe of Aloe Vera, pure honey and alcohol (cognac, whiskey, etc.) should be taken half and hour BEFORE your three main meals. Also someone ask if you use the green part of the leaf, yes you do the only thing your going to get rid of are the thorny edges, you clean the leaf and blend it with the other ingredients. Good Luck!!!
