Colloidal silver is the most amazing thing in the world! Please don't be scared of it. We have been taking it for over 15 years. I first found it when my husband found out he had hep C.. We did 2 years of medications and injections with our Dr's. After 2 years the virus was much worse and he was in very bad shape. Our oncologist told him to go home and enjoy his time left and that he would try to get him on a liver transplant list in Omaha Nebraska . I came home and found Colloidal Silver. Long story short we purchased a 5 gallon carboy. Jerry took 4 TBS a day for 9 months . The virus is gone!! It has never returned. That was in the year 2000..He is as healthy as a horse now. We have since purchased approx 5 more carboys since then. We have used it for bladder infections, tooth infections, arthritis, colds & lung infections.
We have saved the lives of MANY animals who had parvo virus and cats with FIV virus. My father in law used it for arthritis and got off all his medications as well as selling his hot tub. In the process it lowered his blood pressure and was able to get off high blood pressure pills as well. He is now 80 and just drove 9 hours from Kansas to Texas to spend the holidays with us. The read alone is worth your time. Nothing to be afraid of I promise you. We are real people. Never turned blue lol.. Healthy and happy. We LOVE silver. It saved my husband's life. I can't say enough good things about it. My entire family take it now. We buy the carboys and split it up tween the family members.

Colloidal silver is very safe provided you use authentic colloidal silver. You might try a tablespoon once or twice a day. Add it to the water bowl, even replace the water with colloidal silver. My cat loved it and used to ask for it. It has no taste or scent.

The dose you give your cat will depend on the parts per million (PPM) of the colloidal silver you use. There are many ppm levels available such as 10 ppm, 15 ppm, 20 ppm on up and beyond 500 ppm. Obviously if you use 20 ppm CS, it will take half as much silver per day as 10 ppm CS.

Assuming you use 20 ppm CS, generally a 5 ml dose once a day initially to make sure your cat tolerates the CS is fine.
Since you are trying to treat FIV, once you have established that your cat can tolerate CS, you can go up to 5 ml 3 times per day for 3 days as a loading dose and then reduce that dose to 5 ml twice a day as a maintenance dose. If FIV is like HIV in humans, it will create a hidden reservoir of viral particles that the silver will not be able to access and if that is the case, your cat will have to be given the dose for the rest of the cat's life to control the viral level in the blood. The silver should be able to get the viral load to undetectable or close to it.
Your vet should be able to tell you if FIV hides viral particles that drugs can't reach. If not your cat will only need the silver until the viral load is undetectable.

I'm not recommending this product just trying to give you an idea of what was being described in the original post. At 20 ppm, that 4 tablespoons or 60 ml is a fairly low dose of colloidal silver per day to treat a serious virus and I suspect that is why it took 9 months to clear the virus. Although I consider that a low dose, it was safe and effective over the 9 month treatment period as described by the original poster.
