hi, i am a newby here, just found out about oil pulling yesterday. Based on all the positive reviews, i just had to try it. I used ordinary budget brand olive oil i had on hand. I was able to do it for 20 minutes without any problem. last night and this morning. This morning, i had hardly any undereye puffiness. usually i have quite a lot and my eyes look sore and tired and sad looking and tear up quite a bit. today my eyes were bright and as the day has gone by i think i can see better. Also noticed was a heightened sense of well being. It's not imagination, i look younger feel and look bright and alert. This is something i plan on continuing forever. Almost forgot, my teeth look whiter, already. I purchased Hain sunflower oil today, organic apple cider vinegar and local raw honey for under 20 bucks.Took some ACV this afternoon. went for a long walk after supper, usually my fingers swell, none tonight and the pain in my hands is reduced.( i don't know why my fingers swell when i walk in the woods, but it's happened since i was in my 20's, now 60.) I can't thank you enough. Sincerely Jackie

I have severe arthritis and started using ACV & molasses and noticed better energy. This morning, I had real difficulty getting out of bed and decided I'd try oil pulling. To say I was amazed with the results is putting it lightly. After suffering with it for 25 years, the pain in my back is now gone! I am stunned! I used cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil - have done it twice today so far. Also, the mucous is coming up. Will do another one tonight. Thank God for this site. THANK YOU!!!!

I went to health food store twice yesterday looking for correct oil; the only cold pressed oil that they had was olive. I could hardly sleep with excitement of my first oil pulling... After 2 minutes I had to spit out oil because of mucus in throat. Yellow. Again for maybe 3 minutes I swished oil with mucus in throat, spitting out white substance. Another try for about 2-3 minutes, I spit out white substance and coughted up 2 globs of white thick mucus. Dry heaving and wanting to vomit over toilet bowl. I could have swished the oil around for the full time but for the draining mucus in throat. It was not unpleasant having the oil in my mouth at all as I was using a nice fine olive oil. I'll continue tomorrow morning and trust that with time I'll be able to manage 20 minutes. In the meantime, I am most grateful for this information.

I''ve been oil pulling now for 3 mths with olive oil with amazing results. I used to wake up with joint soreness every morning. That ended after the first day for me and I also noticed that I sleep great and can get right out of the bed and function in the morning. my teeth are whiter, and skin is clear. I never had a problem with arthritis in my hands but pulling brought it to the surface and got rid of it I ached for two weeks and it's gone and hasn't been back. I quickly advised my family to start and now 4 of them are with favorable results. It definately does get worse before getting better, but stick with it. My Aunt is in her worsening stages of her ailments but looking forward to getting better.

Oil pulling cured Brain Fog, Produced Whiter Teeth, Face used to be wrinkled around eyes but now amazingly smooth. I use expeller pressed organic virgin olive oil. I do a series of 3 flushes in the morning lasting seven minutes each and repeat the process just before bedtime. I have read reports that the mouth starts to re-absorb the very toxic used oil when prolonging (the oil pull) with the first tbs of oil for 15-20 minutes. Take the extra effort and expense and at least renew oil at the halfway point. I'm hooked for life. Combine this with an epsom/ olive oil liver flush for even better results. I removed over 2,500 bilium stones. (Confirmed by a lab)

BETTER BUT WITH SIDE EFFECTS

I began oil pulling 3 weeks after I suddenly developed very horrible bad breath. I have no cavities, am not a smoker, dont drink alcohol, coffee and carbonated beverages and I'm a vegetarian. I used EVOO as i couldnt get Sesame or Sunflower oil. The oil pulling has done wonders for my gums and teeth, my gums are more pink and my teeth are now a lot whiter. A gap i had between 2 teeth has closed up and there is no 'gap' anymore. However the bad breath remains and it is driving me crazy as i have to interact with lots of people. I keep wondering if i should continue with the oil pulling: will the bad breath go away eventually or do i need to use other 'remedies' as well, am I suffering from the herx effect or is my body too acidic? Any suggestions are welcomed. Thanks.

Best thing ive found for bad breath is h202 (hydrogen peroxide) even the basic 3 dollar bottle from the drugstore will work. Its pretty amazing, I smoke and the ONLY thing that takes the taste and smell out of my mouth is hydrogen peroxide (confirmed by my girlfriend haha) I can even taste the smoke when I spit out the peroxide, it bubbles it all out, hold it in your mouth closed until there is pressure building up from the bubbling, maybe 5 minutes.

If the oil pulling is giving you the bad breath (though that doesn't make much sense, there's nothing in oil that smells bad but may be causing a reaction) I would do this for awhile and see if the bad breath continues, then stop the OP and see if it goes away. One more thought, you may have tonsil stones or some other abcess in your mouth thats collecting bacteria. I had a bad case of strep awhile back that permanently messed up one of my tonsils, there are big spaces in it now and bacteria collect and form "tonsil rocks" its really gross but very treatable and very common. Just a thought, good luck!
