I had the most horrendous wart on my thumb knuckle, which was not only unsightly, but also quite painful if I caught it on anything. I tried having it frozen off at the doctors... twice, but to no avail. I then tried the banana peel cure, and it did start to go, but never completely went, and eventually came back with a vengance. Then I found the Apple cider vinegar one, and knowing that vinegar is good for all sorts of stuff, gave it a try. I got a piece of dressing and put a few drops of the ACV on it,and wrapped sticky dressing around it. Overnight, the wart went black, and after about 3-4 days, because it looked so grim (my kids said I looked like I had mould!)I sat and pulled off the black scabby bit, to reveal a red,and by this time quite sore small hole. I went ahead and applied the ACV again overnight for a couple more nights. About a week after starting, the wart was gone (hooray!!)and now another week on, you cant tell that it was ever there. I have been trying to rid myself of that thing for ages, so listen up people... this really does work!! I am so glad I found this site... Thank you !

Apple Cider Vinegar cured my planters wart. I have been going to a podiatrist(foot doctor) for six weeks trying to get rid of a planters wart, but I also had some athletes foot so the doctor wanted it cleared up first so that when he cut out the wart it would not spread. The problem is I am diabetic and he really didn't want to cut out the wart so he had me try several things like liquid wart remover, cutting the top layer back, also he had me try several things for the athletes foot;foot creme, foot soaks, gension violet which helped some but was VERY VERY messy. So one night I decided to do some research on the net and came across the Earthclinic site. When I read about the ACV I thought what the heck I'm gonna give it a try. I put the ACV on a small piece of cotton and put it on the wart covered with a couple bandaides.I changed it every morning and at bedtime. After two days the wart turned white and looked like dead skin so I peeled it off then applied more ACV. After a couple days it did the same thing this time exposing a small hole so I made sure that the ACV got in the hole and continued this for three more days then it turned black. I went back to the doctor today and he was AMAZED! The wart was gone.He said he would definatly tell other patients about it. It also cleared up the athletes foot within two days!! I can't tell you THANK YOU enough I was very worried about having to have it cut out since I am diabetic. I am also going to give it a try for other things like my husband and girls have sinus problems and I could stand to lose some weight and my dogs could stand to lose some fleas!! I'll let you know how it goes but for now I'm a beleiver!!!!

I used ACV and it worked for removing the outter layers of dry, thick skin but did nothing to kill the wart itself.

I have had amazing luck with 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide. Applied directly to the wart in full strength with a qtip. Older, large warts turned white, gray, black and fell off within 2-3 days just applying a drop in the morning and again at night. No bandaids, no vinegar smell. Peroxide does sting but once that sucker turns black it's all worth a little pinch.

Don't waste your time with other remedies! I just finished removing a small wart that has been on my knee for over a year. I didn't want to take the time to go to the doctor, so I tried the ACV. I cut a cotton facial pad usually used for removing makeup into small squares and centered one piece on a bandaid. I stuck it over the wart dry and then used a dropper to add enough ACV to soak the pad. It was much neater this way, didn't drip all over the place. I could then use the dropper to keep rewetting it throughout the first few days. I started on Friday night. By Saturday the wart was red and sore. By Sunday it was turning black inside. By Monday it was scabby. By Tuesday I could peel the scab. Today is Wednesday. I am keeping the spot covered with more ACV to make sure I've gotten it all so it won't come back! Soooooo easy! Good luck!

My daughter had a very large planters wart on her right index finger that gave her all kinds of problems. (Kids can be so mean) I looked on here to find a solution and found the banana peel remedy. We tried it and within a couple days could see a difference. It turned black and started 'rubbing' off. That wasn't fast enough for her though and when I spoke to my sister in law about it she told me to pour Apple Cider Vinegar over it. I used the apple cider vinegar that afternoon and again saw immediate results. Even more so than with the banana peel. We poured ACV over her finger and then soaked the pad of the bandaid in ACV and placed it on her finger, changing it each day. Within two days there was a marked change. It took about a week an a half for the entire thing to disappear. Her finger has a slightly raised place on it that is smoother than the rest of her finger, but the wart is gone. She is so relieved and is willing to hold hands now with that hand. Thanks!

Wart Removal Remedy: I tried the recipe of apple cider vinegar and onion pieces soaked overnight and applied with a band-aid. I did this 24hrs. a day for 1 week. I had one on my forehead that was getting bigger and now it's GONE. Once the scab came off, there was no more wart. Trust me, it worked and saved a trip to have it removed.

I have been on many websites in search of a treatment for warts and so many people have sworn that Apple Cider Vinegar works. I am on my third day of treatment which includes soaking cottonwool in ACV, placing it on the wart and securing with a bandaid. As well as this soak the wart for 20mins a day in ACV. My wart is now very swollen with a white ring around it and the actual wart is black. It is painful and throbs but if it works it will be worth it!

Apple Cider Vinegar (Remedy): Unbelievable results. 17 years ago I had a planters wart lasered out of my foot. Painful! I did not want to go through that again, but am convinced that is the only way to get rid of the things. I decided to try this before seeking laser cut out. I started with the banana peel, but it was not easy. So I went to the Apple Cider Vinegar. It took 2 days to see something happening, but 6 weeks to get rid of it completly. It was actually 2 clustered. The surrounding skin peeled a little but did not cause problems. I soaked a cotton ball and duct taped it to my wart at night. In the morning I would just duct tape. Did people laugh? Yes they did. Do I care? No I don't. I feel sorry for people not willing to take a chance who go through other treatments, like laser-PAINFUL. I will be more open to use this sight for future minor ailments.

My 7 yr old daughter has had embarrasing warts in the past and has had them burned off at the doctors office. I tried applying apple cider vinegar directly to the wart covered in a bandaid and the wart literally fell off in about 4 days. I used the cotton from the end of a q-tip and soaked it in apple cider vinegar then put in on the wart with a bandaid to hold it in place. I changed it everyday for 4 days until the wart fell off. I have heard it can take up to a week. It is the most painless way to get rid of those embarrasing warts. I hope this helps anyone because I have tried everything to the expensive doctor visits and this is by far the best remedy for those hard to remove warts.

I had a small wart on the palm of my hand for years. I didn't even know what it was for a long time - at first I thought it was a callous. Once I figured out it was a wart, I kept picking at it, but it would come back. I never took it seriously because it didn't really bother me, but eventually it just bugged me that it wouldn't go away!

I tried the vinegar approach. I only had white vinegar at home when I first tried it, so I used that, and later switched to apple cider vinegar. I don't think it matters which you use.

I dipped a small piece of cotton in vinegar, then put it on the wart with a band-aid covering overnight. The wart soaked up the vinegar, swelled and turned white. The skin around it turned red. And my hand was very sore - it hurt more than I would have expected, though it was not unbearable.

I did that every night possible for a couple of weeks, and sometimes put a drop or two of vinegar on a band-aid and wore that during the day, too. There were some days and nights, though, when I was out of town and couldn't do the vinegar procedure, so maybe that made the process take longer. After the first 10 days or so, I was able to peel off most of the wart after soaking in warm water for about 10 minutes.

I kept doing the vinegar/band-aid thing, and at the end of two weeks, maybe a couple days more, I soaked again in warm water and peeled off the entire wart. It left a small hole in my palm where the wart had been, and the skin around it was dry and flakey, but all that healed after a few days and now you can't tell there had ever been anything there at all.

Like I said, the wart wasn't a big deal, but it really annoyed me that it existed, so I'm thrilled that I beat the darned thing!!

I found this site (and numerous others) a few weeks ago when searching for a natural way to get rid of a wart (and clear up my chronic sinus issue, among other things). Within two weeks of starting ACV on my wart, it was completely gone. Just soak a small cotton ball, stick it on the wart with a bandage overnight and watch it work! Also, after drinking 2 tablespoons in a glass of apple juice every morning, my sinuses are much clearer, I'm no longer cold all the time, and I no longer have my usual afternoon sleepiness.

Right now I'm on day two trying the apple cider vinegar remedy. I've had a wart on my thumb for over a year now, it's getting bigger, and very very close to the nail. I've tried Vitamin E, freezing, tape, a ton of different things and nothing has worked. So far the wart has turned white, and kind of swollen, It hurts, but I hope this works. I'm desperate to get rid of this before prom!

For some reason I had this wart growing on my thumb for a few months. It was embarrassing and ugly and I just wanted it to go away!!! Anyway, found this site and decided to try the Apple Cider vinegar. Seriously, IT WORKS!! It's REALLY weird writing this after just a few days, but I'm wearing a bandage on my thumb right now covering a completely healed wart. Tommorow I'm going to start the banana peel treatment for 10-year old plantar's warts. I'll be checking in with the results.
