WARNING!

Well having read these apple cider vinegar for moles posts, I decided to take some moles off my back and face. The one on my back came off with no scar and completely removed the mole. The one on my face has left me with a large red scar the same size as the mole, it is ever so slightly raised and I have tried, coconut oil, silicone gel, and a few others to try and get rid of it, could anyone give me any advice on getting rid of it. I think we should be wary telling people the ACV way because it can scar, as I am living proof and I am a guy who is now having to wear makeup to save myself any discomfort :(

Hi there, I'm treating my moles with Apple Cider Vinegar for 8 days now, and it won't work! I'm about to go crazy, tried 4 different acvs but my mole is simply stuck there. Not even a redness on my skin. I'm using 100% natural with 5% acidity avc. Am I doing something wrong?

Whatup? The apple cider vinegar didn't work on my moles. I tried to file the flat moles a little and then put on some Apple Cider Vinegar and a bandage a few times a day. After a week, my mole is still there and I got an allergic rash on both arms for almost two weeks now. I have no idea in heck if this related o_o

Apple cider vinegar did not work for my moles. I have many moles, mostly flat ones that blend in with my freckles, but the three raised moles on my stomach and chest were prominent, gross, and had to go. I was very hopeful, too, as I want to spend this summer in a bikini instead of my usual tankini or one-piece (yes, I'm that self-conscious about my moles). Seeing all of the success that other people had with apple cider vinegar, I decided to try it myself. I bought organic, unfiltered ACV (5% diluted) and began the routine application of roughing up the surface and then applying ACV to the mole; I did this every twelve hours, leaving a band-aid with a bit of ACV on it to cover the mole.In the first few days, I didn't notice any difference, other than mild irritation.

On the third day, the moles began to swell, and I thought, “Yes, some results! ” I may have celebrated too early. On the fourth day, the moles had swollen still, about twice their original sizes, and they were incredibly painful to the touch. Each application of ACV was a nightmare - it felt like I was dabbing on hot coals. But I was determined, maybe a little hard-headed. I was sure that, with so many others achieving success, that it was only a matter of time before my moles gave up the fight and fell off.

On the fifth day, my moles were swollen to three times (no exaggeration! ) their original sizes and blistered all over! I had to take OTC pain relievers all day, and couldn't sleep on my stomach at night. On the sixth day, the blisters burst with pus, the swelling pushed the skin to the limit, and the moles split open and bled. And if you've ever nicked a mole before, you'll know those suckers bleed so much, you'd think they had their own little hearts! I don't think I have to tell you that it didn't tickle. I called it quits.

After another few days of pain and at the first signs of infection, I went to the doctor. It turns out I gave myself second-degree chemical burns on my moles (thankfully, careful application of the ACV spared the surrounding skin). The moles had to be cut out, which is what I wanted to avoid in the first place, except I could have spared myself a week of torture! If ACV works for you, great (although I'm sending every bit of jealousy I have your way), but beware if you start to have a reaction like mine. I think I'll leave any future mole removals to a doctor from now on.

Thanks Jane for replying sorry it took me a while to get back. I carried on with the treatment and it seemed to have not changed. It swelled and now has gone back to its original size but is quite sore on the base but I have had to stop treatment as I go on holiday in the sun and is quite awkward to pursue in everyday life.

My girlfriend tried ACV on a cotton swab after scoring her 2 facial moles. They both left leaving craters in her face. She could handle the craters (because she knew they'd heal)but now the moles are coming back, which she's not too happy about. Especially since they already came back once before with a vengeance (getting bigger) after a failed attempt using H2O2.

WARNING!

To the person who had the itchy mole, before they started the AVC treatment. You should still go to a dermatologist and have the spot where the mole was checked. As you said the mole seemd to come out of no where and itched. Its not usually a good sign when a mole start to itch all by itself. It could be turning into melanoma. Its better to be safe than sorry and have suspicious itchy, bleeding or irregular colored moles checked out by a dermatologist as soon as these symptoms appear. As melanoma is an aggressive cancer.

WARNING!

Do not use the Apple Cider Vinegar on your FACE. I for some reason decided to remove the skin color mole on my face with ACV. It looked like a large pimple and I guess it seemed like a good idea at the time. It was interesting to watch my skin-colored mole turn black and scabby. I knew it was working, but the ACV left a hole in my face that may be a permanent scar. Now, instead of a pimple, I have a huge crater in my cheek. I am very scarred, and to top everything off, the granulation left after the mole came off this morniug while I was washing my face, far too early, and I know from experience, this will male the scar worse. The ACV also took another area that had no mole and now there is a small black spot. Perhaps it was there all the time, now it really is visible. I don't know how bad the scarring is going to be, but I am kicking myself for even thinking of it. I wish I had tried the Coconut oil or the Lugols for my face first.

I am using coconut oil, mederma, and aloe vera for the scar, also currently taking Hylauronic Acid, all my vitamins, and Serrapetase. Wish me luck.

Good Luck To All.

EC: Can you please tell us exactly how you used the apple cider vinegar? Apple cider vinegar has been one of the top remedies for facial acne on EC for years, but people typically just use a cotton ball and apply it like toner.

I used this remedy on two moles and they both came bac and the surrounding skin is discolored. So at this point it is worse but I am hoping it will go away. Very disappointing.

Apple Cider Vinegar (mole removal) I've been using apple cider vinegar to try and removal a mole and the skin surrounding it has become very red, raw and slightly swollen. I hate to stop the treatment as it's not complete, but I think the reaction is actually the ACV rather than the bandaid. Is there some way to avoid this? Also, Ted's Mole Theory link on the website does not connect. Can you refer me to where I can read this? Thanks. Please post this on the website.

EC: Click'here for Ted's theory. Link corrected.

After reading the many testimonies of how the application of ACV on moles removes them I decided to try it. I followed the directions as follows. Before going to bed for the night I put ACV on a little piece of cotton, put it over the mole, and then put a bandage over it to hold it in place. I did this several nights in a row. My understanding is that the mole(s) will shrink, may darken, and eventually fall off within a week or so. Well, not the case with me. Yes, my mole did flatten down, but instead of the mole falling off it has buried itself so deep into my skin that once the mole / scab-like formation came off it left a pit in my skin that looks like a cigarette burn only smaller in dimension as the moles that I treated were smaller than the dimension of a cigarette. It also left the surrounding skin burnt looking and very red. One of the moles that I treated with the ACV was about the size of a pinhead, however the pitted scar that I now have is 5mm in diameter. My regret is that I treated all three of the moles I had at the same time instead of testing it with just one. Unfortunately, two of them are in places that are visible at all times (on my neck and the other on my face). I would NEVER suggested anyone doing this unless they would rather have a deep pit in their skin and larger in diameter than the mole they have right now.

I applied ACV to my mole for a couple of days. It shrink in size and seem to be working . Today I noticed that its scabbed and picked at it. On impulse I peeled it, revealing a dark spot underneath that looks it was going to turn into a mole or that this method didn't remove my mole successfully. I was very disappointed.

Apple Cider Vinegar (remedy): This thing did NOT work. I used it on a mole and it came off... yea... and it CAME BACK!!! The only thing worse than having a mole is removing it, having everyone say things like, "remember that ugly mole," and than have it COME BACK!!! I need this thing gone!!! I'm young still, so I'm not open to many resources. When I found this stuff in the cabinet I was jumping for joy. I applied it like crazy, peeled of the mole, and it CAME BACK. Well, I have to be fair, it's not exactly "Back" yet, but it left a same-size dark red mark that looks like its turning back into the mole. Please guys, this really means a lot to me. Other than this mole, I look really good. I LOVED my few weeks without it. All the girls were hitting on me and more people were hanging out with me. And now this? Come on seriously... please someone E-mail me with the solution to my problems... Sincerely, unlucky
