Lyme Disease Remedies: Q&A
Last Modified on Apr 17, 2013
I read your posts on the earthclinic.com regarding lyme disease and the alkalizing recipes, and I have been taking the borax and baking soda. It's only been a week but my energy seems to be improving.
In fact I have to stop taking the alkalizing formulas in the early afternoon because they seem to have a stimulating effect on me. The baking soda especially sometimes makes me feel like i had a coffee -- my mind gets very energetic, sometimes anxious, and other times angry!
Is this a common reaction? Are there other reactions i should be aware of during this alkalizing process? Also the borax really makes my lips dry and my skin feel inflamed. Am i not drinking enough water? Am i taking too much?
05/06/2013: Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: I don't see these side effects but if you are experiencing inflamed skin, this is a symptom of the body getting rid of the fungus and will be helped with a topical application of bentonite clay or borax in water as a paste on the skin. Apply one or the other for 5 or more minutes. But I do see similar problems with fungal infections when the body tries to get rid of it using other means.
01/24/2012: Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: It's the existence of cysts in the neural symptoms, or the existence of the bacteria concentrated in that area. There was one case of that existing in the brain. The two remedies I will try are DMSO, which loosens the scar tissues in those areas, but I don't try a lot, such as 10 drops x 4 times a day, because more than this it kind of smells, the other is tetrasodium EDTA 30% solution, 10 drops twice a day. It's not the optimum or close to it, but it does have some results, the other is salmon fish oil taken at 1000 mg a day, will generate oils in the body which insulate neurological damage such as seizures, so granulated lecithin powder 1 teaspoon a day is the other one. The alkalization with at least potassium citrate 1/4 teaspoon once or twice a day also reduces neurological damage especially if the person's urine and saliva is both below 7. Cannot have saliva above 7.5 pH also, otherwise, ascorbic acid is used to lower them.
01/25/2011: D replies: "Ted, First and foremost I want to thank you kindly for getting back to me regarding my question, I don't need to tell you how devastating lyme disease can be, fortunately I don't have any of the arthritic symptoms but given the "severe diffuse hypoperfusion" I am in a place I never imagined!!!
As of just today I started Non Hydrogenated coconut oil, given the studies by Dr. Richard Veech, Dr. Theodore B. Vanltallie and Dr. Newport to mention a few who have found some very promising results with Keytones and medium chain triglycerides for alzheimer's disease as well as MS, Parkinson's, to mention a few.
Could I take the coconut oil with any of the below?? I've also read about your treatment with Borax for Lyme, do you still suggest this treatment for lyme disease and at what dosage??
Again, thank you so much for getting back! I really appreciated it."
01/25/2011: Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "Well coconut oil is helpful, but it can lead to ketoacidosis, for which you have to alkalized with sodium bicarbonate, taken at 1/4 teaspoon after meals twice a day at least, or more advanced alkalization such as 1/8 of each sodium citrate and potassium citrate also after meals, preferably after dinner and before sleep is the best times I think. The fasting blood sugar levels need to be maintained at below 90 mg/dL and at least the one hour after eating needs to be ideally below 110 mg/dL, otherwise the sugar will supply the lyme the reason to grow. The hydrogen peroxide 3% one capful per 1 liter and the 1/4 teaspoon of borax does several things, the hydrogen peroxide clears the blood supply of fungus, a vital food source for these bugs, and get the sugar level down by converting sulfates in the body to known persulfates or other peroxide forming substances known to normalize the sugar, while the borax is known to kill fungus, also a vital food source. Hydrogen peroxide is the minimum you can do. As for the Alzheimer, Bipolar and Parkinson's it does help, but it works better with antiviral supplements such as lysine and threonine. It also have a blood normalizing effects for Lyme disease also, so it helps if at least lysine and threonine are taken at 1/4 teaspoon hourly for four hours.
Part of the reason why coconut oils works so well is besides the keto that powers the brain is the lauric acid, that is antiviral, is a common cause of Parkinson's and Alzheimer, but in conditions such as Lyme's disease were talking about fungus as a method of treatment because typically they respond to these, such as arthritis, but also yes the brain. Because we are dealing with symbiotic relationships for Lymes, it will respond to Methylene blue, 0.1% at least 4 to 8 drops twice a day, in morning and in afternoon, empty stomach, which actually is one of the few supplements that exceed the Hayflick Limit (such as a cell doesn't divide more than 23 times) and can go to 29 instead of the usual 23 cell doubling, but is a known fungicide also, and can be used as a supplement, see Dr. Bruce Ames patent.
07/10/2011: Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: First we treat for Inflammation before we do anything else, and it is alkaline that you may be interested in. There is no limit how much alkaline we need, but I used sodium citrate and potassium citrate, 2:1 and sodium bicarbonate and potassium carbonate mix. It is given 30 minutes or more after meals, 1/4 teaspoon three times a day. The person may need more, that you have to determine yourself. The thing that is needed is first thing in morning 1/8 (adult is 1/4) teaspoon of sea salt. The third thing is vitamin C (you find which is best), but my opinion is sodium ascorbate 500 mg three times a day. This will help healing and some aloe vera oil 5 drops internally. This will reduce the severity of symptoms. Magnesium is needed also I prefer magnesium citrate. Now I haven't seen your daughter, so this will only be general remedy. Once two or three weeks of alkaline, and salt and magnesium the I might get borax 1/10 teaspoon in 1 liter of water to drink and kill some of the bugs. This is the easiest and cheapest remedy I can think of.
02/14/2009: Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: Dear Rita:
I constantly update my remedies whenever I receive some donor help to get the supplies to do the tests. Recently I was able to obtain bloodroot and hence the updated lyme disease is as follows:
1. Bloodroot tincture (40% bloodroot 60% ethanol alcohol) is taken at least at starting dose of 3 drops x 4 or x 6 dissolved n a glass of water. If bloodroot is taken, vitamin B complex (B50) is needed as is vitamin C sodium ascorbate 1000 mg. to help healing of tissues as bloodroot kills the invading organism.
2. Baking soda 1/2 teaspoon in 1/2 glass of water, on empty stomach taken twice a day.
3. Borax is used, not boric acid at 1/8 teaspoon in 1 liter of water is milder then boric acid which maybe too strong. For men's dose maybe 1/4 teaspoon dissolved n 1 liter of drinking water. Most rashes are reduced from baking soda with gradual improvement with the borax. A boric acid is a stronger boron, and I prefer borax as it is more alkaline then boric acid and has less boron content.
4. A urinary tract infection is helped with sea salt 1/2 teaspoon in 1 glass of water. Plus some 1/2 teaspoon of mannose, or mannitol or xylitol. As a warning, it must be pure xylitol, some people tend to add aspartame, which makes condition much worse. Therefore it helps to read the ingredients and make sure aspartame is NOT added.
This is the best remedy that I can come out at the moment. This seems to eliminate about more than 90% of the symptoms. I am sure other people will have variations from my observations.
07/15/2011: Jim from Pakchom, Loei, Thailand replies: Hi Ted my name is Jim at the moment Im suffering with severe headaches like Ive been just shot in the head and every bone in my body aches. Is there somewhere in Thailand I can have an accurate test done for Lymes disease. WHAT is the Thai name for Lymes disease so I can explain to the local G. P. what Im on about. Where can I get Blood Root etc and do you have the Thai translation for these ingriedence also Kind Regards Jim from Ireland in Thailand
07/20/2011: K from Sacramento, Ca, Usa replies: Ted, just saw that you cured yourself of Morgellons with this treatment.
I used the borax and peroxide on my hair and did not realize I should rinse it out. Left all night and hair fell out. Shiny bald. It is growing back but I look like I had chemotherapy.
This is a warning to anyone who uses the treatment to be sure not to leave on all night. My own error, I see, but nontheless a devastating one.
I plan to use the treatment on my body and the oils on my head, covering every inch of head - very easy because of short hair.
Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: Dear Jennifer: Happy to hear of the improvement. Although a plain distilled vinegar would do just fine too, and a better inhalation is a 50%/50% mix of 1.5% H2O2 with the vinegar, which forms peracetic vinegar at 0.75% concentration, which is a stronger antiviral remedy. Phlegm breakup takes time, although N Acetyl Cysteine 250-500 mg (no added aspartame please) will liquefy the rest of the phlegm to further help with the breathing.
A lyme disease at least from my own experience is helped best with 1/4 teaspoon of borax plus 10-20 drops of 3% H2O2 in one liter of drinking water. Also 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda in 1/2 glass of water taken twice a day should further relieve the problem. The remedy takes about 1 week to notice improvement and should help. It can be made stronger by the addition of borax to 1/2 teaspoon and quite possibly 1/4 teaspoon of salt, which should be done later if things aren't improving as quickly as hoped. Finally taking baths in or using a wet towel of 1% H2O2 with saturated amounts of borax (add borax until it no longer dissolves), well stirred, applied on the skin every 10 minutes for a couple of times should noticeably reduce the problem in the major skin area that is afflicted with the problem. I suspect xylitol may help such as 1 teaspoon either added to the solution or mixed in 1 glass of water taken internally, although I haven't been lucky enough to done that, but the xylitol has somewhat insecticidal properties. On the other hand, is weakness is indicated from lyme disease, my experience has been 300 mg of thiamine were quite helpful, but that's only if lack of energy that I have used. However, I haven't had much people sending me feedback on that one, positive or negative.
Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: Jean: 6 drops are usually the minimum, but 2 times a day the effects would not last long, I think in practice it is closer to 4 times a day. And also when adding H2O2 3% drops, 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda should at least be added twice a day, however, for most people 1/2 teaspoon used during the morning and bed time should be added.
Zinc acetate is often taken as a supplements and usually it should not exceed 4 times a week, and you just have to figure out how less you are going to need as time goes on.
A drinking water should add 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt per liter of drinking water to be taken throughout the day. In my opinion, it is the baking soda, peroxide, and sea salt which will help most of the lyme. There are others, but those are the ones I would like to start first."
Ted later adds: "The other remedy I think should also be added is coriander chinese parsley or chlorella. Removal of heavy metals plays an important role in recovery of the immune system.
Since i came upon this site and had this remedy work i plan on trying a few others to help deal with conditions caused by chronic Lyme's disease.. i didn't notice a section on remedies for that kind of thing.... and would love to see some if anyone knows any.. I've been suffering from chronic lymes disease for 5 years with little to no relief and its a struggle... i will let you know how the remedies i try for the symptoms such as arthritis, chronic fatigue, phantom pains (the neurological side of this thing) etc etc..... work out for me.
Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: Dear Victoria: Lyme disease is commonly spread by insects, carriers of these insects include deer and other wild life. However, the major spread of lyme disease is usually birds being major carriers of lyme disease that can go across continents. I remember one person who caught lyme after cleaning pigeon nests.
Assuming your case of lyme disease is one of bacteria of spirochetes or any other ticks or insects under the skin, then application of between 1%-3% hydrogen peroxide solution mixed in a saturated solution of borax should do the job.
Always start with just 1%. I am assuming the spirochetes causing lyme is anaerobic. If it is aerobic, then the borax will kill them anyway. The hydrogen peroxide becomes the penetrant.
The trick is to apply them with enough frequency necessary to effect a killing, this means at interval of say, 2 hours and repeat as often until you know there is a major improvement. For me anytime a strange virus enters my system I will apply at a more frequency of every 15 minutes and do it for at least 5 or 6 times before it is all gone. Since I have no way of knowing anyone's condition, you just have to determine this yourself.
Keep a healthy skepticism of this treatment and apply to a small area where the lyme problem on the skin occurs. If it works you after applying for 30 minutes with enough intervals, you can try a larger area. If it doesn't work complain to earthclinic, and I will have to find other remedies instead.
The theory of is simple. The hydrogen peroxide will penetrate the skin and the borax will do the killing and hydrogen peroxide will also oxidize the spirochetes too.
Certain salts added might also aid the killing, such as adding 2% zinc chloride and 2% magnesium chloride will also help in case the first option is too weak.
Both salts have antibiotics potential. However they will NOT work if you do not use the hydrogen peroxide!
It is the zinc chloride which will do most of the killing, but magnesium do have some antibiotic potential as well and give me some favorable surprises too.
In one case, if it is not of lyme, but of certain fungus, such as mycoplasma, then hydrogen peroxide alone 3% should do the job, albeit a bit slowly like only a 30% reduction if done only twice day. However the application may require at least 4 times a day or more to work better.
If a hydrogen peroxide is unavailable, then a weak copper sulfate 2% or copper chloride 2% is used alone, plus vinegar can be used as an alternative treatment.
Of course you should rinse with water after that. Most of the skin irritation should be stopped within a couple of minutes. Do not leave it long otherwise the copper solution will cause a bit of a mild stinging. Two of my friends liked it so much they left it on without the rinse. I can't stand the copper smell however so I had to rinse it. I wouldn't try the copper option unless I have the hydrogen peroxide and borax anyway. Copper solutions do not work well together with hydrogen peroxide, as both will react with each other neutralizing themselves.
The method of application is simple, whichever way you choose. You can use a small towel to apply it or a cotton bud. The reason why I chose 1%-3% hydrogen peroxide is simple. When we apply the solution, the hydrogen peroxide have a tendency to get neutralized during application. But in any case it is best to experiment in certain small areas of the skin and apply with enough frequency, should penetrate the skin.
If all else fails, then just apply a 50% 50% solution of pure lavender oil plus tea tree oil. Spirochetes also dies in that instance too.
The methodology of killing is external, but hydrogen peroxide will go trans dermal and do further killing of spirochetes with frequency of application.
If it DOES work on your skin, then drinking water with 6 drops of 3% hydrogen peroxide per glass of water plus some sodium citrate (1/4 teaspoon baking soda + 1/4 citric acid plus 1/2 glass of water) will further kill it. Citrates is a unique chemical in which it has some antibiotic potential as well as causing the body to alkalize at the same time allowing the body to easily kill off the invading bacteria. Another solution that may work also is one whole freshly squeezed lemon juice plus keep adding baking soda at 1/4 teaspoon interval until the fizz stop and add water to 1/2 glass taken maybe three times a day to kill of the invading bacteria.
There are other remedies, but just try these first and see how it works for you. At least this remedy has worked well for mange, but it was originally developed to cure my own skin problems similar to lyme, which was Morgellons disease. I was cured in a day, so I guess I was just lucky I recognized the problem early on. Talking about Morgellons disease, you may need to spray your bed with orange oil or borax solution to kill whatever insects hiding to prevent it from spreading around the house. Tannic acid solution works in case the others don't. At least the tannic acid will denature the eggs anyway, especially in the carpet or rugs.
