[BETTER BUT NOT CURED]  I found out I had genital warts when I was pregnant with my second child. They just seemed to appear out of nowhere one day. I have no idea who/when. The doctor told me I could have had HPV for years and the pregnancy was the reason they decided to make their appearance. That was about 5 years ago. Ever since, I've done countless hours of research learning about it and trying to find a way to get rid of them without breaking the bank. I read numerous times that they most often just go away on their own, or that peolple have "outbreaks" as they would with herpes. I am not one of those people. From the day they appeared they have never left. I only have them on the inner lips of my vagina. They start small closer to my anus with the biggest at the top only about half way up. On the left side I have 3 small ones and one larger cluster, slightly flat but with the telltale cauliflour shape to it. On the right I have about 6 small-ish ones going in a straight line upwards. Also with this I tend to have a large amount of discharge most of the time. (sorry for the TMI)

Since I don't really have the funds to go the doctor to get them removed, I started researching home remedies. Like so many others I came across the apple cider vinegar remedy. Since my life is more often than not extremely hectic, I've tried it many times but never kept up with it.

Finally I'm trying to keep on top of it this time so this is what I'm doing:

Vitamins: (because immune system is key to kicking this things butt)

Vitamin E, Vitamin C, L-Lysine, Odorless Garlic Pills, Vitamin D... Also a TON of water and green tea everyday. I'm really trying to quit smoking also, but still working on it.

ACV and tea tree oil combo: Before doing anything, first clean the area - I use alcohol or hydrogen peroxide. DO NOT do this if you have any open wounds or highly irritated skin because it WILL HURT!! To avoid irritating the surrounding skin, I cover the other areas in diaper rash cream or vitamin e oil. First, I take a cotton ball and make sure to cover all the warts in tea tree oil. (it irritates some peoples skin, so you can dilute it with a bit water if you need to. ) Next, I soak a cotton ball in ACV and stretch it out to the size I need in order to cover the entire area. Then I tape it down with medical tape (you can use band aids or something else like that - but be careful in that area because it'll hurt coming off! ) I personally leave mine on for large blocks of time, changing it when I go to the bathroom, take a shower or after keeping it on overnight. The important thing to remember is to keep the area as clean as possible and do not let the dressings get wet. The warts thrive on moisture. Usually after the first full day, the warts start to turn back in spots and eventually the whole thing will. They also tend to get hard. The tiny ones seem to shrink in size and eventually disappear. Im at the turning back and hard phase right now so I'll check back soon when I get some substantial results and let everyone know how it goes.

Disclaimer: ACV has a tendency to sting especially if you have any warts that are irritated at all. I personally don't have a low pain tolerance so it really wasn't that bad for me. Everyone is different. Its proabably wise to take a break for a couple days every other week especially if you are experiencing a lot of irritation or burning. Diaper rash cream with zinc oxide in it is a great thing to put on whole area, warts and all, in the meantime during breaks.

I'll check back soon with a report and good luck to everyone else! Have patience.

So...Let me begin with this. Ive always been one of those people thats incredibly fearful of disease and i have always taken precautions and used protection. I havent had a lot of partners either. And ive read of people saying on different forums they have only been with 2 people and have found these little buggers! Anyway i digress. Back in Dec i felt some odd little bumps around the top of the outside of my vaginal lips. I freaked out. At first i just assumed well it could be an ingrown hair! So i got mirror and looked at it. There it was peering back at me. Something that looked like it could possibly be a wart. I needless to say freaked out went online and looked up pictures. It was hard to find anything that wasnt incredibly severe. So i called up the clinics. Nowhere had an appt avalible until APRIL!!! Some even later than that like in may. So i took it upon myself to seek out something online. I found this site.

I went out and bought some ACV and tea tree oil. Along with a bottle of vitamin c.

I did the vinegar test and the only one that popped up was the one that i had seen. I treated it for 2 days. It just turned grey and came off in the shower. I was excited and in the clear. Or so i thought....

About a week and a half ago. I was feeling around and i noticed it was back. And it came with friends. About 4 of them that were raised and flat all in a row next to each other in the same area. I took it as maybe some chaffing actually at first and used A&D. No change. So my fear was realized it was again a wart plus some.

So i pulled out the ACV again and i did the test. AND MY GOD! There had to have been 100s all along my lips that i didnt even know where there! They all turned white.

So i did more research online and went and got some more herbal suppliments as well.

I got a bottle of olive leaf extract, garlic tablets and i got some just over all womens once daily suppliments.

I started the acv treatment again yesterday. It stung like hell for about 20 minutes but i knew i had to tough it out. I kept it on for about 2 hours. And for me the placement of them makes things difficult as i cant really tape the cotton balls down. They arent anywhere near my clitoris which i guess is great. As i said just on the lining of the inner lips more or less. So ive been taking toilet paper (not alot) And covering my clitoris with it. But using enough to where i can put the cotton balls soaked with acv around it and the wad of toilet paper helps keep them in place. Anyway after the first 2 hours i took it off for about maybe one and then did it all over again for probably another 2 1/2 hours. So in total about 4 1/2 hours.

I examined myself again after the second treatment yesterday and some of them where already turning grey. I was rather excited. I cleaned everything off with peroxide and applied some tea tree oil.

I just finished a shower. And while cleaninging myself off i think i scrubbed a little too hard as some areas that i had been treating were a little raw i noticed when i was applying my treatment. This time it BURNED and stung like hell when i first put it all on so much to the point where i was actually shaking in pain. Really i felt like ripping everything off but when i thought of how some of the spots were already grey i felt i had come to far and could NOT back down now. So i endured. It took longer today for the stinging to subside. And it has mostly now its a rather dull sting thats bearable. But ive had it on for about an hour and a half so far today. Depending on how it turns out today and by the amount of stinging i endured upon first applying. I might take a break tomorrow. But if i see alot of progress im going to grit my teeth and bear it again tomorrow before taking a break from it. Or either just treat the areas that are more visable as opposed to the ones that arent.

Ill post back with an update soon. Wish me luck!

Aspirin and Onion Juice for Genital Warts   1  0

Posted by Zamia (Silver Spring, Maryland) on 01/11/2008

[YEA]  This is a very good remedy that works in about 3 days. My GW was about the size of a lima bean but now its not there. It disappeared. Take the onions and blend the. Add a table spoon or so of salt to draw the juice out of the onion. Then let stay over night. Take an aspirin pill and grind it so it will be like powder. Apply the onion juice on the warts and and then apply the aspirin powder to the soaked wart so it will be paste like.

Banana Peel   5  0

Posted by Fred (Houston, Tx) on 07/29/2012

[YEA]  I want to thank you so much. The banana peel remedy for GW worked! I started with Apple Cider Vinegar and a small outbreak spread to hundreds around my anus. It was very painful. I was so scared and embarrassed. Using the peels took 2 months and I did it three nights a week. It wasn't painful and they are gone. I feel much better about myself after so much depression. Thank you for this forum and for the people who share their experiences.

how do you apply?

[YEA]  Banana peel cured genital warts in 2,5 weeks.

About 4 weeks ago I discovered about 4 genital warts around the pubic area, and on the base of the penis. I was suprised because I always use condoms, after reading a lot on the internet I found that condoms do not protect you against this virus, I will be more carfull who I am going to date from now on.

After a week I found the banana peel remedy for other kinds of warts on this website and my logic said that this must then also work on genital warts.
There where a few new small warts by this time I started taping banana peels on to my pubic area and around the penis.( the white side on the skin )
I was wearing it during the day but took it off at night.(could have better left them on but could not for personal reasons)I tapped fress ones on every day.

After 3 days one was gone and 2 others ( the biggest ones ) where turning red ( it did take an other 2 weeks for 1 to go away completely the other one just srunk and became a little white dot, like a pimple ) some small ones also turned red, those smal ones disappeared after about one week.
When I started I used peels from ripe bananas but I read some stuff about using peels from green bananas, I tried the peels from green bananas and after one day almost al the warts turned red or the skin around them was red. ( this is a signal that the treatment is working) after 3 days with the green peels most where almost gone.

There where a view that did not react to the treatment at all, ( clipped those off with a nale clipper and carefully burned the smal blood vains shut with a hot paperclip end, this is not something I advise you to do, I just don''t have the patients.)

After the burning I took a bananapeel and scraped some white stuff off with my nail and stuck it on the little wound and tapped a other peel on it. Now they are all gone except for one that is one that did react to the treatment and became very small, It will be gone in a view days.

Overall it has 3,5 weeks since I have discovered the warts anns 2,5 weeks since I started the banana peel treatment. Now they are all as good as gone.

For what I have read about genital warts there is no treatment that works this fast.
regular creams take 2 months to work.

My findings:
-Use peels from green bananas because they work much much better.
-wear them as much as you can at night and day time
-shower every 3 days instead of every day but do change the peels every days ( this accumulates the active ingridients from the banana on your skin.
-use special bandage tape to tape the peels on your skin I first used ducetape and found after a couple of days it turned my skin red and really itchy
My case:
The warts I had where small the biggest where 3mm in diameter they where on the base of the penis and on the pubic area (where the pubic hear grows)
I had about 20 most of them very small.

My conclusion:
For me it did work on most warts, and it kept the ones I clipped off away.
I am very happy that I found this website and tried the treatment.
I hope I can help some people with there problem and give them hope for a fast recovery.
I also want to wish you luck and strength because I know how you feel,... it sucks but here is the cure!

[YEA]  Not to lower the tone... I contracted genital warts some years ago and underwent cryotherapy and used Imiquimod to clear them up. And they disappeared - or so I thought. Recently one reappeared. The horror, the horror. It was tiny, I'll admit, and I thought I would try banana skin before going through the abject humiliation and misery of seeing my doctor. Today I went and bought bananas and applied a little piece of skin to the wart... (Not in the supermarket, obviously...) After five hours, maybe even less, I CAN'T FIND THE WART. I was very sceptical prior to trying this, I confess to not having had much faith at all. If you're reading this and wondering if all these stories are written by quacks or nutcases - they're not. I've never written something like this before, but something that works so well, so easily, has to be shared. If I'd only known all those years ago. Thanks for the help!

[YEA]   Yes,

Green banana peel cured my 2 tiny genital warts in 24 hours. Not wanting to burn my perineum with ACV, I thought I would try green banana peel. I scraped of the green skin of a lady finger banana and scored the inside to release that sticky unripe sap. I swear within 4 hours they were softening and hard to detect. They were two small pimple like bumps and I wore banana peel overnight and in the morning, I could only feel one tiny lump. A day later I could feel nothing. No burning, no smell, no pain from this remedy apart from the fact that banana peel stains horribly! I am backing up with Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) now to keep them away.

Bee Propolis   1  0

Posted by Anon (Nashville, Tn, Usa) on 03/25/2010

[BETTER BUT NOT CURED]  I was diagnosed with genital HPV last year. I have tried everything from herbal supplements to ACV to Aldera. Although I saw some improvement my condition was not cured completely. I went back to the doctor a few weeks ago and she didn't know why I had a persistent infection and suggested laser surgery. I decided before I resorted to surgery I would do my own research and see if I could find an alternative. I read a medical study on propolis and I thought I would give it a shot. Since HPV is an infection in the skin I decided to apply it directly to the skin and take oral supplements. I have been taking two tablets of bee pollen with meals and two tablets of propolis between meals along with folic acid, B12 and vitamin D. I bought a container of royal jelly/propolis/bee pollen mixture. It's mixed with raw honey so the consistency is very thick and kind of sticky. I've been applying the paste to the affected area every night before bed. I have seen an amazing improvement! For the first few days my skin turned red and the bumpy areas became very sore. After about a week my skin started peeling and the warts began falling off or disappearing. I have been using the propolis for about two weeks now and I will continue until my condition is cured. I was very depressed and hopeless about my situation but I am so excited that something is working!

BHT   3  0

Posted by Fatchabrute (Tucson, Az, Usa) on 02/03/2013

[YEA]  How many of you has BHT cured you of your warts?. I posted here a year or two ago about the Hep-C and Venereal warts both of which are gone. I have not used anything else except BHT 2 180 mg caps twice a day then I cut to once a day. I see so many posts saying they are trying it but not as many as I would of thought say the warts are gone. Do not worry about the time for some it may take longer.. I can not empathize enough.. it works.

I have recently crushed BHT up and added it to virgin olive oil and applied it to my elbows and knee for plaque psoriasis and that seems to help plus I use a lamp from the 40s-50- but don't know which is doing what, but whatever it works.

BHT in my opinion is not a hit or miss, it works but I say that with the caveat peoples metabolism are different perhaps they use other things which deter from the BHT. But the reason I decided to add my post here I was sick and tired of people saying, take this with two of those then drink some of that and a hour later stand on your head for fifteen minuets then drink a glass of water upside down and eat three apples. This is it take it the way Oscar says and that's it , If your viral levels go undetectable please let others know and that will help others that were once as desperate as you were. On the other hand if for some reason it doesn't work for you cone post that.

[YEA]   I had recurring back pain and shingles on my back and traced it to herpatic neuralgia from the herpes plus the occasional wart on my hands or legs. I was on acyclovir and various vitamins and DMSO lotion for years which worked to a point. Three years ago I switched to BHT staring with 250mgs morning and evening. I am completely in remission from everything and now only take 250mgs. in the morning plus a multivitamin.

Dear Larry from USA and Columbia, This is great news. There was a previous poster here that reported the same results using BHT to treat genital warts. Genital warts are caused by a viral disease. Please do note that Larry kept it simple. Only used BHT and a multivitamin and mineral supplement. Genital warts are a miserable condition to have to live with as anyone can imagine. Thank you Larry for reporting into the EARTH CLINIC with these remarkable results. Keep taking the BHT. For MANY it works amazingly well if you keep the treatment simple....Oscar

[YEA]  As I promised here my result about the use of BHT to treat genital warts. I started more then one month ago and to my surprise the doctor when he checked my rectum said I only have a small wart!!! I'm sure it was huge before that and also some outside of my rectum. So the doctor take out the wart and I believe now I'm ok. I'm still taking the BHT, I don't have any kind of side effect so far. I will check again with the doctor, in a year to see if everything is still "clean".

Well thank you Teru from Paris for getting back to this forum. Your results with the use of BHT to treat gental warts agrees with that of fatcha brute`s as discussed here: http://www.hipforums.com/newforums/showthread.php?p=6967512Â

So, here is another disease, caused by a lipid coated virus, that BHT has proven itself to be an effective treatment for. Like fatcha brute says: THIS STUFF REALLY DOES WORK. He is also one of the success stories of BHT as a treatment for hepatitis C. Thank you so very much for reporting back into THIS forum with your results Teru....Oscar

Bicarbonate Soda (Baking Soda)   1  0

Posted by Jerome (Hobart, Tasmania) on 11/19/2009

[YEA]  Have tried everything on this site and didn't get results intended, too complicated and hard for me to keep pastes etc. in right location overnight, vinegar far too acidic etc, As far as I know no one has ever written about this method before on the internet, this has been a blessing and was discovered out of complete frustration and necessity, i would die happy to know that this method might relieve just one person from the heartache that is GW:

Take a shower, don't dry your genitals, take a dry cotton bud,
roll it simply in BI CARBONATE SODA,
lightly shake (without contact) the BI CARBONATE SODA onto the infected area just enough to completely cover it. Thats it. Sleep on it, repeat every second day.

Water creates adhesion, BI CARBONATE SODA is a disinfectant cleaning agent 100% safe and in your cupboard right now. The Bi-CARBONATE SODA dries out the wart and the skin around it.

I have used it two times in 1 week and I'm amazed at the results, almost gone, my genitals have never been cleaner. I suffered for 9 years.

Buckthorn Bark   1  0

Posted by M42 (New York, Ny) on 07/20/2012

[YEA]  Hi all, as a teenager I had a bad case of genital wart. My vagina was practically closed. In Back to Eden he recommended buckthorn bark for warts. I figured it would work for genital warts too. I made a tea and poured it over and into my vagina. The warts turned white and spongy and fell off in 2 days. They never came back and it was if nothing had ever happened. The doctor couldn't understand what happened. She wanted to burn them off :(. She didnt believe that I poured tea on myself.

Carrageenan   0  0

Posted by Carraatje (Groningen, Holland) on 04/18/2014

Hi there. In order to find a treatment to get rid of my genital warts I ended up here. In Holland we don't have a site like this and I found lots of information and tried some of the treatments I've found here. But when I was looking on other sites I've found a few items that told about Carrageenan as an inhibitor of the HPV, HIV and Herpes virus. I found some carrageen powder on a dutch website and decided to try it. Within 2 days after making a paste from some hot water and a teaspoon of the powder and putting it on my genitals the warts were gone. I've told this to a couple of people on a dutch forum and they all tried the carrageenan/water paste. The results are good with them too. The warts (small ones are gone in 2 days...bigger ones in 5 days) just disappear. Carrageenan is used in a lubricant (bioglide) to keep the virus from spreading but it can be used as a treatment too. Maybe one of you would like to try this too? It's cheap, doesn't burn your private parts and as far as I 've found out it works. Good luck. I hope my english is good enough for you to understand. (My english is better than your dutch probably. ;) )
