I did reply giving you all my symptoms, but not heard back, so maybe you didnt get it. I wouldwelcome any help you can give me, as after taking the supplement for seven days now, I still have the burning feet, no improvement. This may be correct, but any help would be wonderful. Thank you"

04/09/2011: Francisca from Michelbach-le-bas, France replies: "Just Chillin, sorry I didn't see the posting about your symptoms. We travel a lot and although I try to keep up with the Earth Clinic I may miss some postings from time to time, sorry. I don't know where to find your posting though.... Could you post it again? I suppose I looked up some information for you in my books as I don't really have much experience with B vitamins. We will be home tomorrow evening so if you post the information again I will see what I manage to find. And sorry once more..... Maybe if there was a way of marking read postings this wouldn't happen!"

VITAMIN DEFICIENCIES

04/22/2012: Jian from New Orlean, La: "I was wondering if anyone knows what vitamins are depleted when you drink decaf coffee (which goes through a dramatic chemical process, I heard). I never drink coffee but decided to have a cup of decaf at Starbucks when I was hanging out with a coffee-guzzling friend a couple of weeks ago. Within half an hour my lower lip cracked right in the middle and then 3 more skin splits appeared on the index finger of my right hand. It was really weird! Not only was it painful, but it took over a week for one of the skin splits to heal. I was taking B complex, omega 3 and vitamin C at the time, so have ruled them out. Anyone know? Clearly something in the coffee sucked a vitamin or mineral right out of my body!"

05/04/2012: Maria from Gippsland, Australia replies: "Hi Jian [from New Orlean], You may have had a reaction to the chemicals used in the decaffeinating process. It would pay to make some observations of any other possible reactions in case you are starting to become chemically sensitive. If so I would start to give your liver some help for awhile."

ZEOLITE

10/02/2011: Rob from Almonte, Ontario: "I just bought a bag of raw zeolite from farm supply store. I heard that it was exact same stuff that is put into more expensive zeolite capsules and can be used for detox. It is in a very rough 'gravel' form (kind of like kitty litter) and I can't imagine swallowing this... Yikes. But does anyone know if this could this be washed and crushed down to something more manageble? I've heard so many different opinions on the best way to take zeolite in, but they all seem to come from people who are selling it and they always say that their form is the best. I know that this is awesome stuff in any form and I would love to find a more cost effective way to take the stuff. Any thoughts out there?"

11/27/2010: Rob from Manhattan, Ny: "Perhaps Ted could shed some light on this as he has recommended Zeolite. After a little web searching I purchased a bottle of Waiora Zeolite. Although it seems to be of quality, I don't care to purchase another as it is far too expensive and more so a multi level marketing company. They are aggressive in there marketing negating all other brands but their own. Plus the principle of MLM in my opinion is based on greed and profit. I was looking at the Zeoforce brand and wondering if in Ted's opinion it would most likely be just as effective or if anyone has success with a particular brand. I find the supplement/health industry to be increasingly misleading and untrustworthy. Taking more and more energy to separate the marketing schemes from the fact.. I will report later the results of experimenting with Zeolite."

11/27/2010: Lisa from Thousand Oaks, Ca, Usa replies: "Hi Rob, I have been using zeolite from a company that I have mentioned here before quite awhile ago at this point. The company is called Omica and you can find them on the internet. I have met not only their reps at various health food stores and events here in LA but also one of the scientific formulaters. He is a very knowledgeable guy whom I've even heard speak on the connection between spirituality and health. I have also had the privilege to hear him educating the reps about the products and what makes them so unique in their formulations. I also think their prices are reasonable for their products of which they have quite a few now. They offer an msm that is plant-derived and I also take their fulvic acid. Their reps are very warm and genuine people whom have taken the time to explain their formulas. Also on their site you'll find some interesting articles to read. Anyway, I hope you look into this company and that this info helps. Lisa"
11/27/2010: Peter From Chicago from Chicago, Ill replies: "Rob,
I always find your postings very informing. I found some Zeolite at WholeFood's Herb section, you could buy them from the jar at whatever quantity you want."
11/28/2010: Rob from Manhattan, Ny replies: "Thanks Lisa (and Peter) the Omica brand looks interesting and will try it out on my next purchase... Also didn't know they carried Zeolite at whole foods... Will check that out as well. Lisa, did you notice any effects from taking Zeolite... So far I've notice that it is dehydrating.. With some mental focus perhaps... It's only been a few days."
11/28/2010: Lisa from Thousand Oaks, Ca, Usa replies: "Hi Rob, To be honest, I can't say that I notice anything dramatic whatsoever. Then again I use an awful lot of remedies and sound nutrition to keep my body working optimally! It is my belief that in this day and age we are being bombarded continually with toxins in our environment so it is up to us to continually detox. It is in our air, our food (and we buy organic and shop at only health food stores but, still, one never knows for sure! ), our water, etc.

So, I drink apple cider vinegar in the morning, sometimes w/ baking soda, some days, h2o2 in water, zeolite on some days, lots of fermented foods and homemade kefir daily of which I now add turmeric and cayenne and definitely notice a difference w/ that! I also take fulvic acid some days from the same company and eat seaweeds as they help carry out heavy metals as well. I no longer eat pasta and it's been well over a year at this point. We just added bread back in but it's a special sourdough that is made through fermentation, not w/ yeast. I am not a puritan by any means since I still have my cup of coffee in the morning and enjoy red wine.

I figure if I am vigilant, my immune system will be strong and take care of my body. Also, I've learned lots about fermented foods and drinks and how important they are to our gut. It is referred to as "the first brain" as it is quite intelligent if it is given lots of good bacterias which then produce b vitamins, vitamins k, a, c and d and lots of amino acids as well in addition to the good bacterias and yeasts that our body needs. It's working! I never get sick and am around a lot of people and a lot of kids because I teach ballet which also means lots of sweaty bodies. From your posts, I think you are pretty conscious of all this though. Wishing you the best, Lisa"

11/28/2010: Peter from Chicago, Il replies: "To Rob from Manhatthan,
I gave you the wrong info regarding zeolite, what I saw was Bentonite Clay at the WholeFood. Ted told me I could use either Zeolite or Bentonite Clay for my issue. Sorry."
