[YEA] 09/11/2006: SP from NYC writes: "Cold water shower is simply amazing. I tried it today after reading the comments here. First few minutes I was shivering to death. I actually thought of turning the hot water. But I then after few minutes my body temperature got well adjusted to the cold water. It felt so good. I went in with a headache and came out so fresh and renewed. Thanks!"

[YEA] 08/31/2006: Roxanne from Miami, FL writes: "I took my first cold shower today, after reading about cold shower benefits on your website. It really does feel good! I was a little scared and started with lukewarm water. Brought it down as most as I could tolerate it. But man, the other people are right - it really does give you a ton of energy! I suffer from depression, anxiety and panic attacks, and this shower seemed to my anxiety in check. Thank you!"

[YEA] 08/28/2006: Katrina from Sterling, VA writes: "After the death of two very close friends and a lot of stress, I ended up with stress induced psoriasis all over my head, neck and shoulder. I tried EVERYTHING OTC and nothing worked so finally, I gave up, and started saving money to go to the doctor. I came across the cold water therapy on this site and although I did not intend to use it to treat this issue, it sure cured it. I started taking cold water showers in the hottest months here in Virginia. Immediately I noticed the increase in energy and my hair is SUPER SOFT even after months of harsh psoriasis shampoos that had my hair turning to straw. Call me crazy, but it seems my shower doesn't get as grimy as it did before when I was using hot water. My complexion has improved, and there is an obvious difference in my pores. Basically, I have nothing bad to say about cold showers. After 2 months of them, I can't even STAND a hot shower now."

[YEA] 08/24/2006: Phil from Calgary, Alberta writes: "I was reading all the wonderful things about cold showers so I had to try it. It isn't the greatest feeling in the world at all, especially living in not-so-hot climate. Once you get out of the shower, you feel like you have unlimited energy and feel absolutely great. I actually had a hangover today, took a cold shower and felt a lot better after and my head ache was gone also and I'm at work feeling great."

[YEA] 08/16/2006: Monica from Marietta, GA writes: "I came across cold shower benefits because of this war and the HIGH gas prices. I used electric heat in the winter but continued to use gas for my hot showers. After receiving a gas bill about $100 for some hot bath water I was DONE! It actually wasn't that bad when I started. I would adjust the hot water as if it was there - Mental thing...LOL! My skin was already nice but NOW it is sooo much smoother and soft! I feel so energized after my cold showers. I notice that when I get ready for one my body actually increases in temperature. I feel hot and can't wait to get in there. I do still take them that time of the month - It doesn't bother me at all. I am glad I am not the only one doing this...I was feeling crazy! But I am glad that it really does help with other things. This is really great!"

[YEA] 08/08/2006: Gracie from Pasadena, CA writes: "My body hums, vibrates with energy, after a cold shower, very obviously so when I take one just before bed .I lie down on nice clean sheets with a fresh feeling that honestly makes me feel like a kid again. I feel sensual, youthful, trim and slim after a cold shower. As a professional artist my color palette has become brighter, cleaner and more like freshly squeezed fruit juice than in past. My ideas have opened up, become more playful and light hearted. I have opened up more to other people which has attracted new clients into my business life. I have no interest in hot showers. The thought of standing under hot water is actually unpleasant to me now. I love stepping under the flow of water that feels like plunging into ocean. You get the same rush of electricity from a cold shower as you do in large bodies of water. I wish that I had known about them years ago .They have changed my entire outlook on life which is helping the world because I am more loving, open and kind to the people that I come into contact with. I am also more tolerant of situations that used to drive me into states of serious anxiety."

[YEA] 06/13/2006: Alexandra from Mesa, TX writes: "I just wanted to share with all of you that I started taking ice cold showers out of necessity. During my pregnancies I've always had problems with circulation in my legs, bloating, soreness, etc. Well, where I live at the moment I can't find any support hose and I heard that cold showers were good for improving circulation. Well, I cannot begin to explain the benefits, "good" just doesn't cut it. Before the showers, I couldn't be on my feet for long during these hot summer days and the pain was unbearable. Now, after my ice cold shower in the morning, I'm on my feet all day and have absolutely no problem. Never felt better. I do take a catnap, but that's normal when you're preggo!"

[YEA] 03/21/2006: Ron from Lompoc, CA writes: "Definitely try the cold shower along with the cold bath to lower blood pressure. My wife knows this Russian secret for youth and longevity. This is it. I am more vigorous, awake, and relaxed after a cold shower or cold bath. Also, try the cold warm rotation method. Sit in the cold bath for a few minutes (yes, submerge your head for a few seconds) and then have the shower fairly warm and do this several times. WOW!!"

[YEA] 02/21/2006: Jeremy F from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada writes: "My friend Calvin told me about cold showers a few weeks ago. I thought "out of his mind!!!" Though as the weeks progressed he kept exclaiming how great they are, so today I tried a cold shower. Cold showers are totally awesome. The best part is when the body adjusts to the temperature of the cold water and once that happens, it's a totally enjoyable experience. Once you finish the cold shower, no matter how cold the bathroom is, you will forever appreciate the temperature of the room. It's the warm tingly feeling of your body adjusting to the room's temperature, which also feels good too! After having a hot shower, the bathroom always feels so cold, now it's the opposite and it totally rocks!"

[YEA] 02/07/2006: Fernando from Miami writes: "one of my new year's resolutions was to take cold showers in the morning. today is the 31st day in a row and I am hooked. I recommend it to everyone. I read somewhere that cold showers were good for the health. I feel alert, energetic and empowered. from now on it's cold showers until the day I die. "it is all in the mind "I tell myself constantly while taking the cold shower. Forget hot water."

[YEA] 02/06/2006: Kristy from Estepona, Spain writes: "I have been taking cold showers for about five years now. I can't imagine starting my day without it. All my friends think I'm nuts, but I feel revitalised and everyone always comments on the sheen on my hair. (I'm not sure if this is related or not). However, I love it and thoroughly recommend it to everyone."

[YEA] 02/04/2006: B C from Willow, AK writes: "Another factor that you may not realize is that cold showers reduce if not stop the vaporization of chlorinated water that is in most municipal water systems. I have for years now taken luke warm showers at the start and after rinsing off soap I end the shower with a cold rinse. In the summer up here in the last frontier I bath in the creek behind my cabin with just the sand gravel from the bank while using baking soda for washing my hair. I have noticed that I have no B O even without any soaps or deodorants."

[YEA] 01/24/2006: Erick from Ventura, CA writes: "before i found this site i thought i was the only one who took a cold shower at 5:00 in the morning. It's good to know i'm not the only one. i first started taking cold showers after night workouts. it was actually by accident, but then i saw the colder the water got, the better i felt. i felt fresh and i slept a lot better. it's not till later that i even thought about cold showers in the morning. i used to go to work at 6:00 in the morning and for a long time i always felt tired, no energy and my eyes always half closed, when i finally took a cold shower i had more energy and felt alot more awake. i originally started taking cold showers because of how it made me feel. i had no idea about the positive effects to my health. the only thing that sucks is that the water doesn't get cold enough."

[YEA] 01/14/2006: Cas from Windermere, FL writes: "Cold Shower is the only type of shower there is! I started taking cold showers in the mid eighties as a method of punishment for partying too much. One day my chinese landlord got fed up with the comings and goings out of my place and turned off my water heater. I figured that IF I did not confront him about it he would not gimme any lecture. So... I continued taking freezing showers and I LOVED IT!!! While in the shower I used to shout - I LOVE ICE COLD SHOWERS... Many years and dollars later, I concluded that there is no question in my mind that it was one of the best discovers I ever made. Everyday I feel vibrant and alive."

It made me tolerant to cold weather. I never thought of it as a therapy until now I came up with this web page and made me curious about its benefits,,,would like to know more about its benefits. I thought I was the only nuts person doing this,,,feels great!!!!!"

[YEA] 12/23/2005: Sachin from Mumbai, India writes: "I never knew about Cold Water Therapy when I started taking cold water showers. It made me feel great. I also observed that the chronic sinusitis I have been suffering from (because of which I used to sneeze 20-30 times every morning) gradually disappeared since the day I started taking cold water showers. It is then that, just out of curiosity, I searched the net to know if there are others who have experienced the same effects of cold water and here I am. Now I know that there is a therapy dedicated to Cold Water and there are a bunch of other crazy guys who have been practicing it. This motivates me to continue with it and spread this information."

[YEA] 11/05/2005: John from Stockton, CA writes: "Taking a cold shower was recommended to me by a friend and I forgot about it until 2 days later. The idea came to me and I figured it was worth a try. After my first cold shower, the feeling was incredible! Very invigorating! It seemed to give me more energy and I noticed how much it was helping my skin. After the second day of taking a cold shower, I told my roommate that I was convinced that one of the secrets to success is to take cold showers!!! I explained to him that the effects of taking a cold shower last the whole day where a hot shower lasts for a half hour and makes me a little drowsy. He continued to laugh at me but that invigorating feeling still came after each cold shower. I get so much more out of a cold shower than a hot one. That's the bottom line. Its great to hear that so many other people benefit from cold showers too. Its been 5 days and I'm hooked!!"

[YEA] 08/12/2005: John from Ventura, California writes: "For 23 years I have not been able to sit for more than 2 minutes and when I sleep at night I get terrible muscle leg cramps attack at night from 1 to 10 per month. The 3 lower disc in low back are badly degenerated. I discovered 3 weeks ago if I take a cold shower between 11:00 to 4:00 during the day I eliminated the terrible leg muscle cramps at night. The sitting problem is not resolved; however, the ligaments in the lower back do improve after the cold shower. I have tried ice pack therapy but does not work like ice cold shower therapy to eliminate leg cramps at night."

[YEA] 08/04/2005: Trevor from Cambridge, NY writes: "My hot water tank malfunctioned recently so I had to take cold showers. At first I dreaded the idea but have since found that tepid showers invigorate my spirit and lighten my mood. I'm bipolar and have crushing depressive episodes. Believe me when I say that I feel my cold showers mitigate the effects of my dark moods and project a feeling of well being and joy throughout my whole body and mind!"

[YEA] 07/15/2005: Deepak from Valencia, Spain writes: "I have been taking cold showers since the last two years(summer and cold winters), the feeling is simply unbelievable. After the shower, you have so much of energy injected into you keeping you fit till the end of the day and at night another shower before you sleep, giving you the best of sleep throughout the night, which i would like to recommend to everybody that this is one the most effective and cheapest investment towards health. There is nothing like being healthy."
