[YEA] Anonymous : "Hi, Sifted, sterile wood ashes would help cut the acid some in drinking vinegar or lemon water. Wood ashes from trees, not lumber from the store, is full of minerals and is highly alkaline. Would this render the vinegar less potent? I don't know, but I think not. But for sure it would make it non damaging for the teeth. Lemon juice, the fresh squeezed kind of course is tough on tooth enamel as well. Wood ashes were used a hundred years back on farms as a mineral supplement and anthemelic (kills parasites) for livestock. It was mixed with sulfur and salt. I have used the wood ashes for the last month and never have acidity. Something I am prone to. A teaspoon per gallon of water is what I use."
[YEA] SR from NC: "I happened upon this site by "accident." Actually, I think it was more of a "Divine intervention" because I have found SO much on this site that has been extremely helpful. Apple Cider Vinegar - I will ALWAYS make sure to have some on hand and will probably have a little each day from now on. Just a small amount-about a tbsp. in a glass of water has relieved PMS, sinusitis and a headache in less than minutes! THANK YOU!"
[YEA] Katie from Chandler, AZ: "I have been searching on the web for a site that promotes cleaning you meat with apple cider vinegar. This was a tradition in my family for at least 4-5 generations. I believe that a couple of capsulefuls won't hurt and gets all of that sticky, greasy, and nasty film of off meats like: steaks, poultry, porkchops, ribs etc. except for ground or chop meat. Ground beef or chopmeat is probably the only meat that I wouldn't suggest cleaning with vinegar just because of the type of meat that it is. I believe that apple cider vinegar minimizes alot of the bacteria found in our meat. Katie."

[YEA] R Moore from Cincinnati, OH: "had fungal toe for years, could not take the huge green pill, so tried ACV and have been free of the fungus for 10 years. I stopped taking ACV and within a week the fungus was back, so now I take a shot in the morning and at night."

Nummular Eczema

[YEA] 02/06/2010: Harbo from San Diego, Ca: "I take two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar to 8oz of water every other day and I have noticed a STRONG difference in my body. I developed "nummular eczema" on my legs over three years ago which prevents me from shaving from the knees down. My legs were constantly breaking out and the bumps would flare if i went to a dry city keeping me awake all night in itchy pain. Lotion, baby oils, topical medicated creams, you name it, I used it. But since I've been using raw ACV I no longer suffer from blotchy red bumps on my legs and am free to shave every day!! It's absolutely amazing and something that three different doctors couldn't cure or even treat. The mild detoxification that the ACV did was truly remarkable and will continue using it for the rest of my life!"
Oily Skin

[YEA] 07/07/2009: Susan from Dublin, Ireland: "About 2 months ago I started to take apple cider vinegar. I mixed it with water and sipped throughout the day. After a few days I noticed that the oil build up around my nose disappeared and that my skin definately looked better. I stopped for about three weeks and about one week into the break my skin began to get oily again. I have started taking it once more and within 6 days my skin is healthy and the oil is gone!"
Pain

[YEA] 03/16/2009: Jim from Madison, Wisconsin: "I have spinal stenosis and scoliosis and my back got so bad that I started limping. I had severe pain especially if I bent over. My back literally was killing me with pain. I was taking prescription naprosen (1000 mg/per day). That had little effect on the pain. I had arthritis in both index fingers, both shoulders and my back was full of it. I remembered that I had heard or read somewhere about ACV. I found this web site and read everything I could on ACV. I was so encouraged! I went out that day and bought a qt of organic ACV. The first time I took it I wondered how could I continue taking it. However the taste was not as bad as the pain I was going through. I quit taking the pain medication and just used ACV. I take about 3 ozs. to 4ozs a day in some water. After about 3 or 4 days, I noticed the pain throughout my body starting to subsiding. By the end of 2 weeks the pain was literally gone. I can bend over with no pain, hop around with no pain and play with my cat. No more NSAIDS, only ACV. I have been telling everyone I see about this MIRACLE CURE FOR PAIN. I hope I have encouraged someone sitting on the fence to try this. By the way, there are other benefits to taking ACV."

[YEA] Heather from Napa, California: "I have been doing research on parasites and have found that if you take 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar morning and night, in a week you will pass parasites!"

[QUESTION] 08/11/2010: Jessica from San Diego, Ca, United States: "I started testing my pH and was able to get to the optimal level with ACV and honey in warm water. In the last week I have added Vitamin D, Vitamin C, garlic, probiotics, a prenatal vitamin and colloidal silver. When I felt a slight cold coming on, I tested my pH again and found it to be highly acidic. Could one of the new things I'm taking be affecting my pH negatively? thank you! "
Replies08/12/2010: Alain from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada replies: "Answer to Jessica from San Diego about pH balancing and vitamins. You just observed by yourself that vitamins are acid forming. Vitamin C is Ascorbic Acid. Probiotics are also acid forming. I don't know about garlic. Possibly alkalizing if of good quality. Just take more alkalizing food, spices and minerals. Alain"
[QUESTION] 01/11/2009: Mike from Atlanta, GA: "I wanted to ask about the ACV remedy for the purpose of alkalzing the body to be in a healthier. I am fairly healthy, if I wanted to take this as a maintenace dose, how long should I take this. I saw somewhere where it said 5 days on and 2 days off?
Mike"
Pimples (Impending)

[YEA] Francoise : "As soon as I feel I'm about to have a pimple, I dab the spot (priorly cleaned), with a Q-tip dipped into organic apple cider vinegar before bedtime. I smell like salad dressing for a few minutes, but the next day it's gone. I tried it on my very skeptical and slightly vain fiance; he could not believe it when in the morning he could not find any blemish on his face! Vanity is everything!"

[YEA] 09/30/2006: Joni from Grafton, ON: "I started taking ACV about 3 weeks ago after finding this awesome website. This month, I had a short, productive period minus cramps, bloating, lethargy and moodiness!!! Hallelujah!! Also no more mood swings during the rest of the month. Been quite happy, actually, no negative thoughts or despair at all. I attribute this with the ACV. Actually I just realized how calm I've been... but this may be also due to the honey I take with it. Also has been great for my skin!! And I feel like I digest my food better and have tons of energy. What a great website!! Thanks Earth Clinic!"

[YEA] 02/12/2012: Anonymous from Grovetown, Ga: "Recipe: fill coffee mug w water, warm in microwave, mix in 1 tbsp. Acv, 1tbsp honey, cinnamon and a little nutmeg... Has been 70 degrees in Georgia for most of the winter until last night.... Hot apple cider on a cold night... Very good!"
Replies02/12/2012: Carly from Seattle, Wa - USA replies: "Hi to Anonymous from Grovetown, Ga - You're recipe sounds great, all except the microwave part. Microwave energy will kill anything beneficial in the food you "nuke". Please web search it. They kill all enzymes in foods. Better to use the stove....I used to use juices and things to mask the taste of the ACV.... But now I just pour my ACV in a glass (1oz) add BS (1/2 teaspoon) and when the foaming is done, add 10oz water and chug (use a straw for teeth protection). It still tastes kind of bad, but works great. Totally worth it.
Please get rid of the microwave for things like ACV and VCO (my opinion) and you will find they work much better. I believe that others have posted on this in the past as well, so maybe search EC for more info.
Carly :-)"
[YEA] 03/25/2012: Deb from Brockton, Ma Usa replies: "Sunday, 3/25/12. This is my first day on this web site. I was looking for something for my horrible swollen ankles and lower legs. Not sure if my ankles are gout or just the effects of this salt-a-holic eating too much corned beef for St. Patty's Day (and leftovers). I am amazed at all the things ALC can cure or alleviate. I just tried the apple cider recipe with ACV (an old bottle I had), honey, cinnamon and nutmeg. Delicious. I actually like the taste. I was tempted to drink another glass right away, but decided to spread it out three times a day, morning, noon and night (unless I find another recipe I like then I will alternate).Thirty minutes after drinking the apple cider, I started feeling more awake and alert. It was affecting something in my brain. Time will tell with some of my other ailments. I have not noticed any bad after effects. The air also feels cooler when I breath, maybe its also affecting my sinuses. In any event, I will continue drinking it and reading some of the other remedies listed on this web site. Who knows, maybe it will change my life for the better and I can shed some of my unwanted pounds. Thank you for your recipe. I have to go to the store and buy a new bottle of ACV, the one I have is pretty old, and some more honey. Great web site."
[YEA] 08/06/2011: Veerybird from Hobe Sound, Fl: "I have discovered a great recipe for taking the ACV. I have always taken it with 1/2 juice and 1/2 water in my 24 oz water bottle with 2-3 Tbs. of ACV. That works for the faint of heart: I even got my kids to start taking it. I also carefully measure out a strong flavored juice in a wine glass and add the ACV. That is a great way to get it down. The best recipe that is healthiest and easy to travel with is 24 oz. of water, 2-3 Tbs. of ACV, and blueberry tea. I buy the True Blueberry from Celestial Seasonings and it has plenty of flavor. No "sugar" if you like sour things. Just make up the water and ACV then add a tea bag. Many people think that tea must be hot but it will steep fine in a few minutes. I tried it with Tazo Passion Tea (which I love) but it didn't work."
