I am so thankful for EC. I love "non-traditional" remedies. Thank you so much EC, for sharing these with all of us!

I really wish Earthclinic Planet still existed! Can you please bring it back!

EC: Hi Pamela,

Sadly, we lost all the data on our Earth Clinic Planet web site (hundreds of pages) when we changed to a new server a few years ago. It got left behind on the old server and we didn't realize it until it was too late. We can dig out a few of the old pages on one of the old computers and start over if people really want this section back for posts on organic gardening. But... very few people were visiting and contributing to the EC Planet site when we had it up, which is why we gave up on it.

HI U Pamela , , , , , , , , as all know , I's SJS and was unaware that EC had a site that folks could post about their gardens as related to their health. I agree with you. EC may want to separate it from your normal site because when EC had pets on the same site as humans, it put me to the top of a tall, tall pine tree. I love animals, but not on the same level as humans. Maybe folks feel the same about growing healthy veggies. I figured that...... when EC flushed my garden post to Om the other day.

I respectively request that EC reconsider. I think they will be pleasantly surprised of the folks that are interested in growing healthy veggies these days . All know... what is now in the markets is bad news Charlie. As Hippocrates said, " let your food be your medicine."

======= ORH=========

EC: Hi ORH,

Next week our programmer will either create a new section on EC called /gardening/ or a new little sub- site called gardening.earthclinic.com.

P.S. We didn't flush your post to Om, we're just figuring out where to put it for now.

HI U GOD FEARING FOLKS DOIN, when I first started on EC many years ago , it was civil.... and folks said yea or nay to what they had read and explained why.

This site is beginning to reflect our society. Everyone is close to rage. I plead guilty to speaking my mind and promise to do better. How 'bout you doing the same.

On a positive note, isn't it great that Dr Mark Hyman has been hired by the Cleveland Clinic to head up a natural healing section of that great hospital? The Allopathic's are in remorse and naturally proclaiming him a Quack.

HI U GOOD PEOPLE DOIN, , , , , , , , I've been a participant on Earth Clinic for about ten years and have watched as expectations have changed. We've gone from helping one another to demanding solutions. We have a few bright folks like Ted, Bill, Dave, Timh and others. They don't know you from Adam's ass, but they still try to help you as best they can.

Here lately, folks are demanding solutions to their problems and pissed off if that does not occur. I suggest you go to your Allopathic doctor and follow his advice. You will probably not get relief.... except from your wallet.

These folks tee toe around your sarcasms. I ain't from Texas, but I've lived there. I hereby declare this site as Texas so don't mess with Texas. Be nice for a change. Do you understand.====ORH=======

Your site has become so complicated I cannot tell where to go to get information. I would like the opinion of Ted on glaucoma and find some contributor giving a message. Another I get a list of where to go on the net to find articles. How do you get to a site now? Thank you

EC: Hi Kat, here's a link to glaucoma page on Ted's site. He has only written one post on the subject:

http://ted.earthclinic.com/cures/glaucoma.html

You can access Ted's remedies/site under our navigation tabs "Remedies" and "Recent Posts".

Hi, sir. I could not find any of the carbuncle concern in your ailments list. Is that missing out?

Thanks & best regards, Albert

EC: Hi Albert.

Sorry, no, we don't have a carbuncle page. Please visit our Boils page for an extensive list of remedies that may help carbuncles.

Very very seldom do I see any responses to people's questions when asked...is there a secret link or some way a reader could find out if someone gets an answer. I've submitted questions before and of course, no answers.

EC: Hi Patrice,

Please login to your EC account and when you write a new post, check the box "Email me when someone replies to this thread." that appears just above the content area. Once logged in, you can also click the "Watch" button at the bottom of a post and get notified by email when someone responds to a thread.

Really sorry to bother you, but I can't figure out how to get Ted's recommendations for a specific ailment. I used to be able to just click on the green area under the introduction on the left side, so hope you still have something that is that simple that I've just overlooked. Thank you so much. Paula

EC: Hi Paula,

Sorry about that. We're in the process of moving all of Ted's remedies and posts to a new section. However, it's a bit complicated and taking longer than expected. We'll have the programmer add Ted's Q&A back to the Table of Contents until the new section is live.

Please also check theTable of Contents menu down towards the bottom for "Ted's Remedies". A lot of Ted's remedies have been posted there as well as on his Q&A pages.

Hi Paula....Another quite useful way of finding a remedy by Ted is simply to type Ted together with the ailment you are looking for in the upper right hand search box at the top of the EC page.

Examples are "Ted arthritis", "Ted candida", "Ted cancer", "Ted heart disease".

These will take you to all the remedies that Ted has for a particular ailment. I use this search method all the time and it works well, I usually always find what I'm looking for on EC using this search method.

Hi! Just wanted to say you guys created a great site that has helped me many times! I just posted about my experience with plantar warts after reading about the positive feedback on using banana peels! So interesting, natural and helpful!

So... thanks!

Hi EC, I suggest viewing all the Recent Posts of every day in separate page, it is easier for the reader to read and search in the same page, Thank you.

EC: Hi Faeqa, thank you for the great suggestion! Unfortunately, if we sorted posts by dates it would significantly increase the loading time of the page, which we are trying to avoid.

We could try to design the Recent Posts page to look similar to http://answers.earthclinic.com/. We would get the page loading very quickly with more posts, but people would have to click on a link every time they wanted to read a post.

What happened to the remedies section for inguinal hernia? I researched this a month or so ago, read and tried some of them. However, now they are gone. Does anyone know where they are located? Thanks for a reply.

EC: Hi Shadel,

Page listed under letter "i" in ailments: https://www.earthclinic.com/cures/inguinal-hernia.html

HI U OLE BIRDS DOIN, , , , , , , , , , , ,

As Rodney King said a few years ago.... "can't we all just get along". I marvel at the harmony of people on this site and how they want to help one another. Where- as the real world is in constant turmoil. Dog eat dog. I think most on this site are in deep stuff and appreciate the kindness and support of their fellow man. I know I do.

Folks here are world wide and yet there is a bond to each other. How can this kindness be projected and the world live in tranquility?

Excuse my diatribe, ==ORH===

ORH, it IS being projected!! Every single person here has family and friends to whom they probably pass info and caring. Then those people pass it on to more and so the circles grow!

Finally a site where there are natural cures that real people have reported positive results. Most of all no sales pitch. This is the most complete info. I have found so far. Praise God and thank you for sharing!!!

God Bless, Joyce

This is not about someone claiming that something is original. People who come here usually don't care. It is about healing and bringing information whether original or not to a larger swaths of people. Not everyone goes to every website. Finding information on the web is not easy for many people. The more places that information is, the better. Coming here and posting such a comment is just plain silly.

Blanche,

I'm confused as to what your actual gripe is. EC is largely anecdotal, and to me, that's the beauty of it.

It is an outstanding forum to share ideas and to share what worked, what didn't work, etc.

There are many erudite contributors who do their homework before posting. (As it should be, no?) If someone studies a particular theory or treatment and shares that knowledge with others, that's all it is--sharing knowledge with others. It's not plagiarism, if that's where you were going with your comment.

It's people helping people. I'm not sure what anyone could find 'wrong' with that.

After the recent site changes, I noticed that the blue 'back to top' arrow was missing from the pages. I waited a few weeks to mention it figuring that perhaps the programmers were still tweaking things.

I loved that feature. I hope we can get it back. Thanks!

P.S. My browser is Google Chrome.

EC: Hi Liz! Thanks so much for letting us know. It's back now!

What I think would be good is to email things that happen to be involved in a particular sub topic discussion to all those people or at least have an option that they can click. Maybe another option for general ailment discussion posts. This would have a lot of usefulness. People can't realistically follow the recent posts every day also. If someone asks them a question, they may never know the question was asked. Or the person needing a solution to their health problem may never realize one was provided.

EC: Hi Prioris.

We already have this function on the site. You must have an account and login in order to use it. Once logged in, click on the "watch" icon beneath a post you are interested in. Another box will pop up and ask you if you'd like to be notified by email every time someone replies to the post you are watching. Click "yes" and you will be notified by email each someone adds a reply to that thread.
