ACV vs Anal Warts: I am so happy to finally have stumbled upon this site. Back in early 07 I started noticing these skin tag looking things appear on my left side of my groin. Thinking they where skin tags and didnt bug me I let them be. So after about a year or so I said to myself time to rid of these thinking they where skin tags I just made everything worse. They had actualy spread down to my anal area. So I said time to go see the doctor. He identified them as Genital Warts and sent me to a dermatologist. First visit all I can say is ouch 4 injections and then cut them off with a blade then took what looked like a torch to my skin to burn skin back together. As for the anal ones tho sent me to a anal surgeon and they gave me aldara, no luck with it at all. Said I would need surgery and need to be knocked out. So after a week and they still have not contacted me about the surgery I took matters in my own hands and stumbled upon this site. And boy am I glad I just started the treatment last night (tried to keep the gauze soaked in acv in over night but it burned to much) so i took it out and went back to sleep woke up to shower and even tho ive yet to figure out a way to get a view of the area they felt smaller and feel differnt now granted I am still really sore from last night so ive yet to reapply but I picked some tree tee oil and vitamin e up to speed up the healing back there so I can reapply. My question is can I put the tea tree oil and acv on at the same time? I want to do treatments daily but after last night keeping it in atleast 4-5 hours I woke up in pain and today even after 2 showers still hurts? Any advice woudl be greatly appretiated.

Ive been using ACV caused severe dry skin. made almost half of my penis all white where there were no sign of any bumps whatsoever. once skin returned back to normal color there were a bunch of black / brownish lines in that area. Did make one wart turn black after the 2nd acv application.

Any how was just wondering what was going on?

also how is that the HPV knows where to go in the body. For example. How does the genital wart strain know to stay in the genital region. and how does the rest know to stay else where. makes me question the who virus. Its obvious and clear that the virus is real and the warts definitely pop up in the genital region. But there are cases of virgins (even NUNS) having genital warts so im wondering how transmission is possible.

I also read up on TUMERIC. It seems like that would be a good supplement to use for any skin condition.

I may be wrong but a good whey protien mix would also prove some help for over all health garlic, tumeric, castor oil, tea tree oil , peroxide, witch hazel and the infamous ACV seem like a good thing to always keep on hand.

Ive also read some people with herpes useng CARMEX maybe that would be a good thing to use once the wart has scabbed.

There is also a tatoo oil called miracle oil that can be found at earthlybody.com this is not a plug this oil has hemp oil, tea tree oil and a list of skin conditioning oils.

ONe more thing ABREVA , they use it for herpes on the lips / cold sores and fever blisters i dont see why it wouldnt help spot treatment of WARTS.

these are just ideas that people havnt suggested and i thought i would mention.

Just wondering after the ACV treatment who how long was it until your next wart/s popping up? Obviously ACV just takes the outside appearance of the virus away but does it really trigger an immune response that cures the warts/virus?

can some one you give some times between treatment and next out break?

I treated myself with vinegar and nail filer to sand away the skin and allow the vinegar to do its job more accuratley
that was 4 months ago and some little ones just popped back up.

ive treated myself a number of times in the past 4 years after finding my 1st one.
the 1st one i had i thought was an ingrown hair because i trim up down there. but it kept getting bigger and bigger. about the size of a pencil eraser.

so i bought some cream and it got rid of it. never had one that was bigger than crumb (sorry for lack of example) ever sense but figured id get em while there small. because that big one was no joke treating. took almost 3 months to complete the whole treatment.

basically i get a few popping up every 3 to 4 months. with maybe 6 months being the longest.
my immune system probably sucks. but i hardly ever get sick. i work out 3 times a week and i drink protien shakes and eat pretty good. but could eat healthier. if i could stay away from pizza.

Out of all these responses about apple cider vinegar how many of you had another outbreak after treatment? I see alot of people say good things about ACV treatment but no one says how long they have been wart free.

Im not a doctor but if all you want to do it get rid of the warts and trigger an immune response by your body i would think that clipping the warts off with nail clippers and then applying ACV or tea tree oil on the wound. OF course you will be bleeding alot so i guess you could always heat up a piece of metal and burn the flesh after to trigger your body to go into defense mode.

ive also seen people burn the warts with stick incense . makes sense to me also!!

I guess what im trying to say and what im wanting to know is once you to the ACV treatment what are your chances to be wart free again. and for how long?

About 6 weeks ago, i noticed 2 small warts developing, I went to a doctor that prescribed me Aldara. After a week of using Aldara, I noticed redness and ulcers in the area. My Dr told me to stop using Aldara to let it heal. I stopped using it and the warts went away for a few days after the affect area was healed and then started developing warts again. So I continued with my aldara treatment. After not seeing any results, and fearing the same redness and ulcerations. I decided to try ACV.

After just 3 days the warts are gone! I started my treatment by drinking an ACV tonic. 2 teaspoons with a glass of water(8-10oz), 2x a day(you can add a teaspoon of honey if the taste is unbearable). I used the cotton tip from a cotton swab soaked in ACV and left it the warts for 15-45 minutes several times a day.I wasn't able to tape it in place, like others had recommended because it was in the folds of my vulva and they were really small. Make sure to use a fresh cotton swab tip every time. ACV burns a little but not as bad as the side effects from Aldara.

After the first day/application the warts turned white. The second day I noticed some redness and irritation, and it burned a little when i treated it. My warts never turned completely black, but did turn greyish in the center( I'im assuming this is because they were really small, I'm talking tip of a ball point pen small). In between treatments, I applied a small dab tree tea oil to the affected area, and after every time I used the rest room because it would just rub off. I stopped treatment on the 3rd day because on night 2 the burning was unbearable, luckily the warts had fallen off. I still applied a small amount of tree tea oil to the area several times a day. The infected area is slightly pink with white and minor irritation. I think the white is dead skin that is going to fall off soon, much like when you get a blister.

HPV is a virus that needs to be fought off by your immune system, so I increased my vitamin C intake as well. I had a pap that came back negative for HPV, but that doesn't mean you don't carry the virus, it just means that no HPV cells were found in the cervix. As a side note I also suffered from acute depression/anxiety, and after drinking the ACV tonic my symptoms have also improved greatly, and overall in a better mood.

I am going to continuing drinking the tonic, and applying tea tree oil and do one more ACV treatment once the irritation goes away. I am so thankful for stumbling upon this site because the ACV treatment is way more effective than Aldara. I hopeful that the warts will not return again.

HI. I am not for sure if you will know this or not but I am pregnant and have only one sexual partner and we have a baby on the way. I started having bumps appear on my vagina but I don't think in me. So having the medical education I already had from my Nursing classes so far I knw that it wasn't herpes but I wasn't for sure what it was because I wasn't educated that well for genital warts so i had my obgyn look at them he just said that they were warts and that since my Fiance doesn't have them he said i had to be a carrier and they appear since my hormones were going crazy, and he wouldn't do treatment until after the baby is born which is three months. I check myself every day and i think i am getting more. So my question is when you did your ACV treatment do you have to cover them with anything because some of them i am unable to cover and worried it will cause the spread of more so please help. Thanks.

ACV. ok so i've been going at this treatment for three days. and it's been pure hell, but i want these things gone. the only problem is, everyone says they go grey or black, and mine turned yellow. i have a small amount (<10) in my anal area, and 4 or 5 on my penis and testicles. they're all very small, and have only been noticeable in the past year.

but what's weird is i've had itching and whatnot down there for years, even before i was sexually active. it breaks my heart because i know i contracted this from some random person, and now i have to pay the price.

i've been in denial about this for months, and have only noticed that they got worse after i began smoking, and have been sick. so obviously it has something to do with your immune system.

so anyway, i have just been soaking a small piece of gauze with straight ACV and literally taped it to my anal area (they're all around my rectal opening). the burning wasn't nearly as bad the first time as it was the last two times. the first and second times i slept with it in, and the third time i kept it in for about 45 minutes (it hurt SO bad!). i'm thinking the acidity with the vinegar is eating my skin, as it's a pretty delicate area. and after treatment i usually shower, wash the area, dry it with a blowdryer (on cool), and apply bactine and no pain neosporin.

is there something i'm doing wrong? anyone have any advice for me? no one should have to do this, and i surely don't wanna do it alone :(

Two days ago I saw some flesh-coloured bumps on my outter vaginal lips. This morning I took a hand-held mirror and saw a bunch of reddish bumps inside my vagina. I came across this website and tried ACV. It stings so much! I then ran out and bought some tea tree oil and mixed it with salicilic acid and ACV and applied it with a cotton ball to my entire area. Earlier today I tried the tampon in ACV and it burned so much, I couldn't stand it. I think it may be making the area way too raw. I have a GYN appointment in a few days but I fully intend on sticking with the TTO/ACV/S-Acid mixture until then. Also bought some anti-stress pills and am staying away from alcohol/coffee/sugar and am trying to relax and be positive. Argh.

I have had GW for 6 months now, Iv had the freezing treatment twice and each time the warts go away within a few weeks they came back. Im so devastated as it feels like I will never get rid of them. I have started using ACV as Iv read so many success stories.

Day 1: Applied vinegar to the area infected around the vagina, all warts almost instantly turned white inclusing loads more that I couldnt see before. I left the cotton on overnight and most of the next day.

Day 2: Burned more than day 1 but didnt last too long, warts have inflamed and clustured and more seem to be appearing but 2 tiny ones are turning blck and the warts are bigger which I think means they are being drawn out of the skin (i hope).

Will update you on the next few days, I am also rubbing vitamin E oil in between treatments and taking every vitamin you can imagine.

We can fight this. :-(

well, i posted the other day about using AVC, and I had to stop! I did three days and my vagina is swollen and raw. I think my sweat glands are inflamed because it does not look like warts.) located on the right side of the vagina opening) The raised skin area is very sore, raw and chapped. I think i over did it on the ACV. I was wondering if anyone has had similar effects from AVC. any help would be great! just want to be sure that is not warts or if so then should i continue the acv?

Genital Warts/Apple Cider Vinegar:

First, thanks to everyone for sharing their stories and tips. Like others here, I've had great success with Apple Cider Vinegar. I'm female, and there are already plenty of helpful posts here about what to do, so I won't repeat them. I just wanted to add one tip that I've stumbled across. Guys, this may be too much info for you -- sorry. Or, maybe there are parts of the male body that this applies to, too...?

Anyway: For warts inside or around your vagina, it can be difficult or impossible to apply a bandaid/etc along the lines suggested by some posts - they're too hard to reach and/or the surrounding skin is too moist. But it seems that, for the cure to work, it's important to have the vinegar on there for a while. For these areas, I've used a mixture of vinegar and salicylic acid ointment, which you can buy at the chemist/pharmacist. Salicylic acid is also an old-fashioned "keratolytic" - ie, a cure for warts (how this virus has expanded my medical vocabulary...). It has a texture similar to vaseline, so it clings to the skin. I mixed some apple cider vingar and a few drops of tea-tree oil with it and used a q-tip/cottonbud to "paint" some warts inside my vagina. I did this three or four times a day, and the warts flared white, then quite quickly began to disintegrate.

So, keep this in mind if you have hard-to-reach warts and are wary of the tampon approach. One note: the Salicyclic acid I bought had a strength of 2%. I think you can buy ointments with much higher acid content, but I'd be wary of these. Too much Salicyclic acid can be unhealthy, and as you'll be inserting it internally, where it can be absorbed by your bloodstream, I think it's probably safest to stick to a low strength, especially as the vinegar will be doing the real anti-wart work for you.

Good luck, everyone!!!

I have GW in and around my anus. I have tried the ACV on the external warts, but I don't know how to treat the internal ones. I have tried pushing in a cotton ball soaked in ACV and leaving it in, but I am not sure how safe this is. I am also not sure how to monitor the progress as it is very difficult to get a "good look

Thank you Teru! I have had GW before and got them removed surgically three years ago. I have been fine until last Tuesday when I noticed the bastards were back. I am on my fourth day with the ACV. So far it is just getting really sensitive and sore. Between the treatments I have rubbed Wheat Germ Oil on the area, because it is rich on vitamin E. I also started taking the homeopathic remedy Thuja D6 today -- I am really hoping to avoid surgery this time.

I have had GW for over 10 years, I only had one out break when i was 17, and haven't had one since, until last week! I thought they were gone for good, then i came across this website, and began using apple cider vinager for two days, I thought I only had one small wart but come to find out there were much more. Now they have doubled in size and are very pink. Im hope that this works. So far, the only result I have is that they have gotten bigger. I used a regular size cotton ball with ACV, applied it for one hour last night, three hours so far today (when i get home i will sleep with it) and I am praying that they fall off by next week. I have started taking Womans one a day, Vitamin E pills, garlic pills 4 times a day and ACV pills twice a day. I hope to build up my metabolizim in hopes these annoying things go away!

I have had GW's for 4 yrs. now, and I have tried everything to get rid of them (Freezing, laser burning, topical immune cream, ACV, etc.). All of these got rid of the warts that were there but nothing got them to stay away. About every 2 months they come back. I also read about pumping up your immune system by taking supplements on here: (1000 mg of vitamin c, 1000 I.U. Of vitamin E, 25,000 I.U. of vitamin A (as beta carotene), 50 mg of zinc, 500 mg of lysine, an Echinacea and Golden Seal complex pill, a One-a-day multivitamin, and Garlic Supplement pills (2 at a time)) Which I have done for 2 and 1/2 months and they still keep coming back around the 2 month period. Everything I read says it takes about 2 yrs. for your body to adjust and keep out breaks away but I am at 4 yrs. and still getting them. Anyone else been like this and have found something to keep the outbreaks away? Any help would be appreciated. I am losing my mind over this.

I just had to drop a line to say that this really works! I was horrified about 2 weeks ago to see what I thought were GW down there, but I figured I'd give it a few days to see if it went away on it's own. When it didn't, I knew for sure that I had GW, and was mortified at the idea of going to my school's health clinic and being lectured on what a terrible person I was. So instead I got online and began researching. I came upon this website on Sunday, and later that night I decided, what the heck, I'll try it. I went to the store and got store brand apple cider vinegar and marched back home. I put it onto a bunch of toilet paper and then bandaged it to my vagina, and hopped into bed to give it the night to work. I woke up about 3 hours into the night because of the burning, and got up and took it off. I looked down there with a handheld mirror and saw all the white spots. I washed it, and went back to bed. The next day, when I got home for school, I did another hour. Today, I woke up to some bleeding, and upon inspection, the two biggest warts are now gone, all that's left is a raw area that I've been applying vitamin e to. I've still got a few areas that I'm working on, but I can't believe that in two days, I already got these results! It's amazing!!

After reading all the positive comments about ACV I decided to give it a shot myself. I don't have any external warts but there are clusters of them on the inside of my vaginal walls, and at the opening of my vagina as well. Two days ago was my first treatment, I soaked a cosmetic cotton pad in apple cider vinegar and applied directly to the warts cluster. It hurt like nothing I've ever experienced before in my life. It literally felt like acid to open wound contact. I could not take it for more than 2-3 minutes, it was agonizing. I was disappointed and felt hopeless. Well after taking another look at those disgusting things today it gave me motivation to give it another try, knowing how much it hurt but I cannot live with those disgusting warts anymore. So I took the advice of my husband and took 800mg of Tylenol 15 mins before the treatment. I soaked a small piece of cotton pad in ACV and applied it to the opening of my vagina. I took another small piece of cotton and pressed it on top of the soaked one. I then taped it with medical tape. I am going to leave it on overnight and see if there's any change. ( I have to note I saw no change from the first treatment, i guess I didn't leave it on long enough). Just wanted to help those of you who have internal vaginal warts like me and cannot bare the pain. Tylenol made a big big difference, I only felt slight stinging for the first half an hour, it's been on for 5 hours now and I cannot even feel it's there. I will repeat the process again tomorrow, and hopefully in a week or two I will be back here with good news. Good luck everyone.

Ok so I've been using ACV for the past week, I did it for 2 days in a row then I took a break for one day and then I did it again for 2 days. First 2 days I kept it on overnight, then I kept it on for 3 hours, and then for about 6 hours. My results so far are positive and I am being optimistic. I've been treating 3 spots and today 2/23 I am seeing warts turn black in 2 areas, and the ones at the opening of my vagina are not turning black but they are getting smaller, as if they are melting. I've noticed slight bleeding when I wipe the area with paper. My husband works in the medical field and is highly skeptical of any natural remedies and I can't wait to tell him the good news when he comes back from work! He is a bit impatient because we haven't had sex in like 10 days. Today I am going to try soaking tampon in deluted acv and sticking it inside because even though I can't see if there are any on the inside, there is a possibility that there might be and I want to make sure they are gone, so I will be working on my inter-vaginal ones now that I know the acv is working.

I just found out I have some of these nasty things. I was and still am completely devastated. I have never fooled around, only have had three boyfriends my entire life (third one I ended up marrying and am still married to), and made them get tests because I was so scared to get anything. Well, it happened anyway. I still don't know how. Anyway, I saw this website and did what everyone has indicated. I am completely raw and keep finding more, which is horrifying! I haven't noticed any black spots, but have had them turn white. I am SO afraid they're inside too. Most everyone on this site has said they only had a few. I have quite a lot. I have an annual pap and nothing ever showed. I am still in disbelief. However, no one has reported if their GW came back after using acv. I would like to hear back from those who used this method a while ago. Will someone please respond who have tried this in the past. Thanks.
