Jo Ana Starr, PhD, and Director of the New England Institute of Hypnotherapy (www.neih.com), has been practicing Hypnotherapy since 1987. She has trained over 4500 Certified Hypnotherapists and the Institute trains more, everyday! With a background in education and psychology as well as a lifelong fascination with the mind-body connection and its effect on wellness, Hypnotherapy was a natural choice for her. She is certified in 8 different levels of Hypnotherapy practice, as well as a Certified Instructor with the American Board of Hypnotherapy as well as the American Board of Clinical Hypnotherapy. Over the years, she has helped many thousands of clients personally and through the network of NEIH Certified Hypnotherapists. Her areas of specialization include weight management, smoking cessation, regression therapies, women's issues, phobias, academic and athletic improvement and many more. Her clients report that she is kind and very effective in her use of Hypnotherapy and her clients enjoy great success.
