Denise Rubens has two Bachelor of Science degrees, one in chemistry and one in biology. She also has a Master Herbalist degree from the Australasian College of Health Sciences, in Portland, Oregon. She has worked in laboratories doing molecular biology research since she was a teenager, and spent 12 years at the National Cancer Institute in Frederick, MD doing computational biology and cancer research. She continues to do medical and scientific research as a medical writer, covering topics in both orthodox and alternative medicine.

As a medical intuitive, Denise opens up a two-way communication with your body and receives information about what its needs are. She will use kinesiology to tailor any herbal formulae that might be helpful, and ascertain the optimal dosages. She has knowledge of American, European, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, Ayurvedic, Native American and Central American (Rainforest) herbs and also does nutritional consulting and metabolic typing. Essential oils, flower and gem essences may also be recommended.

While herbal remedies are often very effective, Denise realizes from empirical evidence that energetic techniques can work just as well and in perhaps less time. She is just as inclined to recommend some energy work instead of an herb, and will employ numerous techniques such as Quantum-Touch and Consegrity to help a client. Some other techniques that she uses are: BodyTalk, TAT (Tapas Acupressure Technique), EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), BSFF (BeSetFreeFast Technique), SuJok acupressure, Colorworks, Spectro-Chrome, and Hulda Clark protocols. She is familiar with bioelectronics such as the Zapper, Rife and Beck technologies, and embraces Dr. Ryke Geerd Hamer's New Medicine.

Using energy feedback information from the body, intuitive insight, known science and access to a huge knowledgebase of herbal and health data, Denise will assess the imbalances in your body's systems and make recommendations for how to correct them and achieve optimal health.
