Over the past decade, Mr. Jonathan Gilbert, Diplomate Chinese Herbology and Acupuncture, has worked with clients with chronic neurological conditions. Mr. Gilbert’s focus is on resolving or arresting chronic issues like Fibromyalgia (Chronic Fatigue), Lymes disease, and Irritable Bowel disease using Traditional Chinese Medicine methodology to assess and develop a unique client regimen. Health conditions are addressed pro-actively, with a goal toward eliminating the symptoms and repairing the root cause gently and progressively. Clients receive a personalized highly-specific set of complex formulations of herbs and natural substances developed to promote each stage of restoration to health and proper functioning.

As a Senior Consultant with the Department of Family Medicine, University of Maryland, Center for Integrative Medicine, Mr. Gilbert’s work has attracted attention for its efficacy and ability to act not instead of, but in concert with, Western medical protocols. The Center is a premier clinical and research facility for the integration of western medicine with traditional medical approaches. It is an NIH recognized Complementary and Alternative Medicine specialized research center.

Mr. Gilbert has pioneered three proprietary formulas for chronic conditions based on unique combinations of the more than 3,300 substances comprising the Chinese Herbology pharmacopoeia. Mr. Gilbert is currently writing a book to inform the public about his approach to Fibromyalgia (Chronic Fatigue).

Mr. Gilbert is a graduate of the London Academy of Oriental Medicine. He holds national certifications as a Diplomate of Chinese Herbology and Diplomate of Acupuncture with the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). And he is an examination writer for the NCCAOM. Mr. Gilbert also completed hospital residency training from the Traditional Medical Institute, Saigon, Vietnam, in internal medicine, neurology, and gynecology.
