[YEA]  06/07/2009: Huggie from Johnson City, Tennessee writes: "Five days ago, I found earthclinic.com in a random search for uses of vinegar. The very first thing I saw was "ACV for Weight Loss." I sort of scoffed at the theory, but decided to read a few testimonials anyway.

Well, I ended up reading ALL of the testimonials (haha, which took an entire day, between chasing kids and changing diapers), and they had me convinced. Those who did not have success appear to not be terribly over weight, or have used processed ACV instead of raw organic unfiltered ACV.

Anyway, on day one, I only drank 1/2 a glass of ACV water. It was too gross. Sorry, I can't remember exactly how much of what I used. Honey didn't even help. On day 2, I tried it again. Not much better. So, that night I decided to just drink a teaspoon of it, straight (since I like the taste of it, anyway). Boy, was that a mistake! It BURNED. So, since then I've been putting about 2 teaspoons of ACV in 1/2 liter of sweet tea with lemon. The ACV just makes the lemon a bit tangier, and it's actually quite good! I also have been drinking extra water, because I believe that is important to successful weight loss. As for the ACV tea, I try to make it last the whole day, and if I do drink it all, I just make another bottle. So, some days I have more than 2 teaspoons, but never more than 3 or 4.

This morning I weighed myself, and I have lost 5 pounds! I've got about 95 to go, but now I am quite optimistic about it. The greatest thing is that this stuff really curbs your appetite! I only eat when I am hungry now, and am careful to have small portions.

Thank you so much, Earth Clinic, for pointing this out to me. If it weren't for you, I would never be a believer!

I'll post again later with further results!"

06/05/2009: Juli from Northampton, England writes: "Ive just started taking 2 teaspoons in a glass of water, every morning & evening. The benefit to me for an arthritic toe and to assist with weight loss. My husband has also just started taking it for a heitus hernia(similar symptons to acid reflux). Neither of us are in a position where we can sip the drink throughout the day so we just drink in down. Is this ok? The next comment would be that we then have a drink,we finish our tea or have a drink of gratefruit or coke. Are these taking away the benefits or is it ok to continue along these lines?

Thanks"

[BETTER BUT NOT CURED]  12/20/2010: Jazzdanca59 from Highett, Melbourne, Australia replies: "Hi, just wanting to comment re: ACV for reflux. I have severe Oesophagitis. Am under care of a Specialist. He told me to give up tomatoes and bread. I didn't believe about the bread, but I have tested it, and he was right! . I occasionally indulge in a slice of healthy grain bread, but have found it's not worth it. What I have found remarkable for it is Coconut oil. It has lots of healthful qualities, (don't believe the propaganda about bad fats). It's a good fat, especially for hypothyroidism. Also, I have recently begun symptoms of Fibromyalgia, which I believe from lots of research ( Dr Low) is caused by extremely high oestrogen/very low progesterone. Oestrogen dominance causes hypothyroidism. I can keep the pain under control with a mix of coconut oil and Turmeric/Boswellia tablets, (which I have to buy from America). This combination will keep me far from any cancer threat as well."

[NAY]  05/23/2009: Jean from Los Angeles, CA writes: "Wow was I skeptical after reading some of the outrageous claims for apple cider vinegar. I thought I would try it for weight loss. Since December I have been taking a teaspoon in the morning and another in the afternoon. I sort of cup my tongue and place a teaspoonful there and then take a swig of water or coke or anything else I have and swallow both together. My objective here is to try to keep the straight ACV off my teeth and off my throat. ACV has been a total failure for weight loss but a miracle in curing my joint pain. It used to be so painful for me to stand up after sitting in front of a computer screen for 20 minutes. Now I can sit for a couple hours with no pain upon rising from a chair. (It works much better than MSM without the side effects and doesn't cost $30 a month.) I use Trader Joe's brand.

I also have iron-like toenails that require all my strength to cut them. It is hereditary I think as my mother has the same problem. I soak my feet in a solution of 2 or 3 parts water to one part white vinegar. This vinegar is about $2 for a gallon and lasts a long time. It doesn't matter what kind you use, buy the cheapest. Soak your feet in this solution for 10-20 minutes, then trim. We were amazed, you will be too.

Please post your results if either of these solutions work for you. Thanks."

05/24/2010: Katherine from Kodiak, Alaska replies: "Jean, you may not be losing weight due to the other things you are putting into your body. The sodas, whether diet or not can cause you to gain or retain weight. High Fructose Corn Syrup messes with your metabolism as does aspartame. Someone correct me if I am misguided. However, I suspect that if you are able to cut out the sodas you will see better weight-loss results. And FYI, drinking the ACV "tonic" actually helped me overcome my sugar addiction. Good luck, and don't give up!"
12/20/2010: Jazzdanca59 from Highett, Melbourne, Australia replies: "I totally agree with your comments. Stay away from soda drinks as well as aspartame. They really mess with the bodies equilibrium."

[QUESTION]  05/21/2009: Lara from ABQ, NM writes: "Hi I have a quick question.. Hopefully some one will have an answer. :o)

Today I bought Organic ACV, I had no idea what the mother was... I thought it was a specific brand of ACV. However at the store there was only one brand, so I picked it up.. When I got home I actually read the label of the ACV I bought. "The mother" is the microrganisim living inside the Vinegar itself. It looks like a little string of snot in side the bottle. Which to me is very amusing.. This snot string will some how make my hair grow thicker, cure a yeast infection, help me loose weight, help dissovle kidney stones, and if applied to a wart remove it..LOL I dont have all those ailments just most of them..LOL

So here is my question, I want to keep my Mother alive, Should I refridgerate my vinegar??

Thanx,
Lara"

EC: ACV, organic or not, with the mother or not, should not be refrigerated!

05/21/2009: Sangeetha from Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands replies: "That's interesting to know!! I have always refrigerated my ACV. Is there any reason it should not be refrigerated?

05/22/2009: Joylie from Solana Beach, CA replies: "I just read now on your latest posts tab that Apple Cidar Vinegar should not be refrigerated. I have been refrigerating my ACV (with the Mother) all the time I have been using ACV. Why should you not refrigerate it? Anyway, I just took my ACV out of the refrigerator."

EC: See EC post with link to Bragg site's Q&A.

05/22/2009: Catherine from Seattle, WA replies: "I believe you grow more of the mother when it is out of the fridge."
05/23/2009: PR from Houston, Texas replies: "Dr. Hulda Clark in one of her books - I think it is the Cure for All Diseases recommended refrigeration and adding a 1/4 tsp. of ascorbic acid to prevent mycotoxins from forming."
09/07/2010: Tweetybird from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma replies: "The Braggs product information says the AVC does not NEED to be refrigerated; it does not say that you SHOULD NOT refrigerate the product."

05/11/2009: Nancy from Shreveport, LA replies: "I wanted to let you know that I was concerned too about the cost of organic as opposed to store brand. Don't just assume that they are more expensive You might have a pleasant surprise. Be Blessed."

[NAY]  05/06/2009: Cris from Londonderry, NH USA writes: "I have a question. I have been using apple cidar vinegar for about a month. I started with 2 -3 tsp per day in water. Then, for weight loss I started taking 1 tbsp 2x daily prior to eating. I have not lost any weight, and am wondering if I'm doing something wrong. I quit smoking 1 1/2 years ago, and gained about 30 pounds. I am tracking what I eat, and not over-eating. I'm 45, female, and always been thin. It's almost like my metabolism is gone, never to return. I also exercise, at least 2-3 hours per week on average. Any thoughts for me??"

Replies
[NAY]  05/06/2009: Kimmy from Boston, MA replies: "Hi Chris, I am having the same issues you are! love drinking apple vinegar, but it doesn't help me loose weight. The one time I successfully lost weight is when I did a low fat, low sugar, low carb diet. Basically I only ate easily digestible food like salad, grilled chicken, fish, hummus. I lost about 10 pounds in 2 months. I am trying to get back to that same diet again, but the wheat products kill it for me. One sandwich on whole wheat bread and I have put on an instant 2 pounds. Good luck. Let us know how it goes."
[NAY]  05/07/2009: Trish from Toronto, ON replies: "NAY
I'm in the same boat with you, guys! I've been taking ACV for a couple of months and haven't lost a pound. I think that it mainly works for people that have lots of weight to lose. I'm 5'4 and 125 lbs. I've been wanting to get back to my pre-pg weight, which is 115 lbs. I do 1-hour trainign at the gym 2x per week, eat low-carb diet and haven't yet lost a pound, even when I started taking ACV (2T per 1L)."
[NAY]  05/08/2009: Nipa from College Park, MD replies: "Hey, ACV did not work on me either. I tried it for about 3 weeks and I gained about 3 lbs! So then I stopped. One thing that does work is drinking warm water with added lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of honey. Drink it the first thing in the morning after your wake up. It will help you maintain your weight or even loose it. I am not that big, so it does not help me loose my weight, but helps me maintain my weight."
[NAY]  05/11/2009: Vicky from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia replies: "Hi! This is Vicky. I have been taking ACV and VCO for the last 2 months or so but there is no weight loss. I dont know if I should continue this diet or not. I feel I have put some weight on but I dare not weigh myself. It is just so frustrating. I take about 3 tbsp of ACV in a bottle of water ( I sip this throughout the day) and take about 2 tsp of VCO in the am. Is there any truth about our blood type that may affect this diet? By the way my blood type A+. Can someone pls advice??"
05/14/2009: Jude from Cottonwood, Az replies: "To All you Nays, I think most of you women are too critical and are obsessing on what the scale is saying to you. A 3 lb weight gain is usually due to water and not actual fat gain. Also if you are working out consistently you may not notice weight loss right away as muscle is heavier than fat, stay off the scale and start measuring yourself on a weekly basis. I think the results will be more gratifying and please don't give too much concern with the scale, try weighing in once a month, if you must. I hope this helps and remember, beauty comes from the inside."
12/15/2009: Codysmom from Alexandria, Va replies: "I started drinking ACV about one month ago. I lost 10 lbs due to a combination of things I was taking and I am a small person with around 10 lbs to lose. I think the people that are drinking ACV but aren't losing weight is because they're counting on ACV to be the miracle diet drug. Well it's not. You can't lose weight if you're eating food loaded with sugar, corn syrup, fat and white flour processed foods. You have got to be good to yourself and eat a ton of veggies and fruits and cut out the carbs and sugar and hydrogenated vegetable oils. If you are diligent and disciplined and eat what you're supposed to eat you will lose weight with or without ACV although ACV is pretty healthy for you so I can't imagine not ever taking it on a daily basis."

[NAY]  04/29/2009: Naturallyme from Reno, NV writes: "After reading all the other posts about weight loss success, I decided to try ACV. My first experience was after coming off my first trial of a lemonade detox diet about 4 months ago. Once I started eating normally again, I drank 1 tablespoon ACV mixed with 8 ounces of water 2-3 times per day before meals. This went on for 2-3 weeks. Alarmingly, I seemed to be gaining weight instead of losing it. I went from 115 llbs to 125! To be fair, my weight before the 9-day juice fast was 121, so I wasn't sure if the gain was from coming off of the detox juice-fast or from the ACV, so I stopped taking the ACV. It was probably a mix of both.

As I never lost the 4 extra pounds that I gained, I decided to try the vinegar again. I tried it for 2 days, this time with only 1 teaspoon with 8oz. of water and gained exactly one pound each day (up to 127 lbs)! I've been off it now for two days and my weight has returned to 125 again. I would have gone longer just to make sure, but I feared not being to lose the weight again. I am a 27 year-old female who makes healthy food choices most of the time and exercises 3-5x per week. I know that I do not consume enough calories to be gaining a pound per day from what I eat. I believe that the ACV must be interfering with my hormones somehow. Another reason I think this is because my menstrual cycle was affected (I started bleeding moderately, even though my period officially ended a week ago).

Interestingly, yesterday a friend directed me to some literature about blood type diets. My type is AB. In a book that I read, it said that people with this type should avoid all vinegar and pickled foods. It also said that AB's are predisposed to menstrual problems and migraines...conditions that I'm chronically plagued with. I'm going to take some time look to into this information and test out their eating plan. Hopefully it works. Either way, I won't be turning to ACV again for help with weight loss."

[SIDE EFFECTS]  04/20/2009: Cymantha from Capistrano Beach, Ca writes: "My husband has been doing the APV for about a month or so and he has lost alot of weight. I have been doing store brand or Trader Joe's, about 2 capfuls to about half cup of water. Also I hear APV is good for getting rid of yeast infections however I am afraid to try since I believe that is the cause of my infection. HELP!!!!!!"

04/26/2009: Flourshoppe from Houston, Texas replies: "Just read about your attempt to loose weight using ACV. Do NOT use ACV from any plain supermarket. ONLY use ACV purchased from a health food store. It has to be ACV with the "mother" in it. You'll see the "mother" because it is the sedament at the bottom of the bottle. A boss years ago was enormous and went on the ACV diet. He used to drink it by the glassfulls, which I don't think now is the way to do it but, he got slim and gorgeous. Good luck."
05/09/2009: Josie1963 from Enfield, CT replies: "I would like to know what measurements and how often Salexander1117 from Cleveland used for her successful ACV weight loss. I have gained 16 pounds due to medications that I cannot seem to lose so I wanted to give this a try."
[SIDE EFFECTS]  02/25/2010: Eugene from Brooklyn, Ny replies: "Same deal, ACV always increases the candida on my tongue. Everyone was going nuts about it, but even the smallest bit on my salads would cause my tongue to get the candida spots--so I suspect that's what behind the yeast infections."
07/28/2010: Cat from Austin, Tx replies: "I agree wholeheartedly. Those who cannot lose weight might have a candida problem. I did. Candida blossoms with ACV, especially a lot of it. It can also affect the thyroid; so please pay attention to EC's updated amounts for taking ACV. I found less IS better. I got more yeasty and thyroid lumpy with 2 or more tablsp. Of ACV until I stopped taking it and controlled both with VCO. I used VCO as a suppository and took 1 tspoon, twice daily for a week. Afterwards, I went back on ACV but cut back to 1 tspoon, twice daily. Overnight, I lost 1/2 lb. Stop drinking sodas (diet as well), large quantities of ACV, and eating bread and all may find that yeast dies down and they are able to lose weight. Too much ACV, bread, and sugar in any form, feeds yeast - hinders weight loss."

[QUESTION]  03/29/2009: Celeste from Narbonne, France writes: "Hello everyone,

I am amazed at all the valuable information i have found on this site.

I have a question though... For three weeks i have been on a detox, eating mainly vegies, fruits, brown rice, and also honey, olive oil, nuts, raisins, and goats yogurt. I am also drinking warm lemon water in the morning, taking a cold showering and exercising daily. Yet with all my efforts, there has been a lot of pain caused by BLOATING, at times making me look like a very pregnant woman.

I understand now that it might be caused by the sudden change in diet and all the fiber i am eating. And so i was wondering if ACV was a good remedy for me. I am nervous to swallow vinegar as i have a naturally acidic ph and am working on alkalising my body. Given this fact, shall i try baking soda instead?

I also generally suffer from intense water retention before and during my period. Shall i combine ACV and baking soda?

Thank you for your help!
It is greatly appreciated."

My tummy is quite big (waist 37"), it looks as though I am pregnant all year round. This is so embarassing and this is really making me so depressed!!! Please I hope someone out there will be able to help!!!"

[YEA]  03/25/2009: C from Lafayette, Louisiana replies: "Based on what I've read, I really think that ACV is beneficial for really overweight people perhaps with some yeast issues going on. I did take it at 280lbs, lost 16lbs in 2 months and still losing weight. I took the store brand for the first month and then switched to the ___ Organic because I've read so much about it being the best. I have also somewhat watched my eating and added some light exercise, nothing very drastic, so I really believe that the ACV is helping. I can say that my stomach is getting flatter for the first time in years and my complexion has a lighter more youthful glow. I just prepare a huge water bottle of 64 oz and splash in about 2 tablespoons ACV and sip it throughout the day at work. I might also do another 2 tablespoons in the am and pm when I remember. I give ACV a YEA!"
03/29/2009: Vicky from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia replies: "Hi! Vicky here again, would like to know if anybody has taken pysllium husk and extra virgin coconut oil together with Apple Cider vinegar diet and if they have lost any weight? I take about 2tsp of VCO daily, do I need to increase dosage? Please Help!!"
03/30/2009: Nipa from College Park, MD replies: "Hey Vicki, I was 134 lbs and I started taking ACV. I gained weight with that. Gained about 2-3 lbs. Reason being that I took ACV after meals instead of before meals. I have heard that if u drink ACV before meals, then you loose weight and if u take it after meals, then u gain weight. Well, since I had gained weight with that, I lost trust and stopped it. So I believe that ACV only works if u r really over weight, not if you just want to loose a few lbs. Also I started drinking this: take a big glass of warm water, add 3 table spoons of lemon water with 1 teaspoon of honey. Drink that in the morning as soon as u wake up and once before going to bed. I am now 130. Still have 10 lbs to loose, but am not in rush for that. You can either try the lemon water and honey or drink ACV before meals. You will read my posts below, where I was also very depressed that ACV did not work for me, esp cause it worked for everyone else, but me!"
03/30/2009: C from Lafayette, LA replies: "Response to Vicky:

I'm not sure what 75 kilos is in pounds, but a 37" waist is NOT that big. When I started the ACV, my waist was 63" and 280lbs . . . so you see why I really think that the ACV works for really overweight people. Maybe you should increase the amount of psyllium you are taking and aerobic exercise will definitely help, but it takes some time. Also, wearing a girdle regularly may help your ab muscles. Don't be so hard on yourself! All the best to you!"

03/30/2009: Vicky from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia replies: "Thank You, will follow your advice."
03/30/2009: Vicky from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia replies: "Hey Nipa! I've started taking ACV with a tsp of lemon. I've also increased my psyllium husk intake. Will keep you updated if this works. Will also try taking lemon and honey in the morning. Thanks for the advice!!!"

I weigh 133 lbs, and want to become 120 lbs. Please someone help me and let me know what else can I do? 03/04/2009: Michael from Portland, Oregon/USA replies: "Nipa, if you aren't losing weight, then it may be because you are consuming more calories than you are currently burning off. Either cut the calories down or exercise for at least 45 minutes to burn off what calories you are consuming. The apple cider vinegar should help in the process."
03/05/2009: Nipa from College Park, MD/USA replies: "Hey Michael,

No, I am not consuming more calories at all. I am eating healthy. I dont even think that I eat more than 1300 - 1400 calories per day. And I just had a baby about 8 months ago, so as soon as I go home after work, I am running around after her. Also before going to bed, I tie weights on my ankles and do some tummy and thigh exercises before going to bed! Infact with this ACV, I think I am gaining weight! Please HELP!!!"

03/15/2009: Ellie from Bristol, Wi replies: "i think you are supposed to take acv before eating a meal to loss weight and take after a meal to gain weight and be sure it is raw apple cider vinegar"
03/16/2009: Nipa from College Park, MD replies: "Ellie, are you serious? May be that's why I gained the weight. Because I use to drink it after my meal, thinking it would help burning the fat of what I just ate. I guess I was wrong. I hope the directions were the bit more clearer! I stopped it since a week now and lost my 2-3 lbs that I had gained. Dont think I will try it again now, just lost faith in it. And cannot afford gaining weight, cause it's sooooo hard to loose it again!"

Another poster experienced the same thing and after a month she noticed weight loss, were the two weeks that you did it around that time of month where we naturally gain weight? [YEA]  02/06/2009: Isabelle from Tampa, Fl writes: "Hey all,

I just wanted to report my experience with using ACV for the second time. I initially started in July 07 and took it for about 5 weeks and lost 18lbs. I was taking 2Tlbsp of Acv, 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda with 1 Tblspn of honey. I didn't stop bcuz it wasn't working, I just got caught up with life...I graduated college, moved, had deaths n accidents in my family and started workin 2 jobs...so I just slowly got out of the habit of taking it. I wasn't watching what I ate or exercising, but I never gained the weight back. I started @ 262 and went down to 255.I stayed 255 until Jan 1, 2009 when I re dedicated myself to getting healthy.....I have changed my dosage to the new revised recipe on here...which is 2 teaspoons of acv in 16 ounces of water (2 cups)...and I sip throughout the day. I prepare a weeks worth of water bottles in advice n take it with me to work n school....So far since the 1st of Jan....I have lost 16lbs....n its only Feb 5th. I haven't worked out one day.I have a slim fast shake in the morning followed by a few gulps of acv mix...then I have salad or fruits for lunch n whatever I want for dinner...as long as u take a few sips b4 n after meals....u will lose weight. I notice my stomach slimming the most. I don't know how people can say this doesn't work. I want to take it for the rest of my life..bcuz my hair is long n shiny, I have a lot more energey(hence I'm wide awake @ 5am writing this) and I have had severe back back from some pinched nerves in my back....I used to take 6 to 10 tylenol or motrin to get through the day....and to me its amazing that I haven't taken any pain meds for my back since I started acv again.I swear by it. Try it. It has so many health benefits , that you have nothing to lose.Ill post my progress again @ the end of Feb. As of 2day I weigh 246lbs. Hope this helps....Good Luck!!"

I'm back! My last post was on Feb 4. I was 246lbs on Feb. 5. Today I weigh 235 lbs. I feel great. I'm the last month I haven't done anything different besides I did Tae Bo 3 times.I consume between 1500 and 1800 calories per day. I got a few emails from people asking what they were doing wrong because it wasn't working for them. Honestly, I only know what I've actually done myself so if you are using another brand or taking more or less then that may be why you are having a problem. I recommend Braggs. I'm still very satisfied with ACV. I even splurge every now and then and have pizza or donouts, but I have 1 slice or 1 donut and THATS IT!! In moderation.I'll check back soon. Oh yeah My waist used to mesaure 49 inches and now its 43inches.

Peace"
03/15/2009: Joyce from Joelton, Tn replies: "For Isabelle from Tampa, Fla.

Hello and congratulations on that weight loss. However that "have a Slimfast drink" for breakfast caught my eye. I find that a lot of the so called health foods and drinks to help you lose weight have one or both of those excitotoxins in them which may be preventing you from losing more weight, as both monosodium glutamate (MSG) and aspartame are noted for causing weight gain. So look up those names they hide MSG under and go read the ingredients on your Slimfast drink, especially looking for any hydrolyzed plant (corn, soy or other) protein, because it contains both MSG and aspartame."

I have continued low carb eating habits, and still have yet to exercise ( Fulltime Work/Grad School). My current weight is 219.2 lbs. My initial goal is 200lbs, then I want to get to 185Lb. Im still consuming 2 Teaspoons of AVC in 16 ounces(2 cups) of water everyday. No more, no less. I sip this throughout the day in a water bottle and try to finish the bottle right before I go to bed.I take a gulp before and after every meal. May will be my 5th consecutive month taking that ACV.I don't know what else to say, but ITS WORKING FOR ME!!Good Luck all!"

Thank you for updating us on your progress...WE DO CARE! :)

It is wonderful that you have continued to do so well on ACV. I have tried it in the past and have only had minimal success (5 lbs the first week, none thereafter). I'm pretty desperate now, so I will try again and maybe tweak a few things using your recommendations. Thanks again and best luck on achieving your goals!!!"

[YEA]  01/27/2012: Coregon from Medford, Or replies: "FLAVOR, WEIGHT LOSS, ENERGY, PAIN RELIEF.

I never thought I could get used to the flavor of apple cider vinegar (GAG!! ). So I got a small juice glass and put 1 teaspoon of Apple Cider Vinegar and fill it to the top with organic apple juice or apple cider. Funny thing happened. After a week I noticed the flavor not bothering me so much. I use a shot glass instead of a juice glass now and the flavor doesn't bother me at all.. In fact I kind of like it (and my daughter used to laugh at me gagging over it). You DO become accustomed to the flavor. In fact it just tastes like apple juice with a "bite" now.

I also have noticed another funny thing. I had a really bad night the other night during a thunder lightening storm and only got an hour's sleep. I woke up expecting to be exhausted all day. At midnight that night I realized had a super high energy day, got tons of stuff done and I STILL wasn't tired! I attribute my high energy (even with no sleep) to the ACV. It gives amazing energy!

And for weight loss: I was losing weight with it when I took it at LEAST 20 minutes BEFORE meals. When I started taking it AFTER meals, my weight loss stopped, I even gained a pound. So whoever wrote that if you take it BEFORE you LOSE, AFTER you GAIN.. Was absolutely right. I take my first shot with juice before I take my shower. Then by the time breakfast is ready, it's been 30 minutes or longer that it has had to go to work on the fat stores. And watch how your clothes fit, not the scale! I lost a full size, but only 4 pounds in the first week. If you watch the scale, you'll be disappointed... Fat doesn't weigh much, and you burn it off with vinegar.

My last benefit I noticed was my joints don't ache! I have rheumatoid and this stuff is just amazing. Flexibility and pain reduction. This is truly a miracle when you consider it is less than $5 a bottle and it lasts a long time. Bragg's is the only vinegar I buy. Be sure to shake well before drinking and DO NOT refrigerate. It will keep for YEARS in the cupboard."

[YEA]  01/15/2009: Julie from Linden, Michigan writes: "Apple Cider Vinegar: This is the best by far. I love it, and have become addicted to using it. It has now become a part of my daily routine. I take 2 tsp to an 8oz glass of water in the morning upon awaking, and then go about my business. I find the early morning remedy gives me a burst of energy, and I think we all could use that first thing in the morning..ha ha. I drink the same amount after eating a light breakfast usually about 10am-ish. I again take it after eating a light lunch. Again after a light dinner. I follow a low carb diet, and do try to watch my fats, but I am telling you...this works for me. I started following a low carb lifestyle approximately 4 years ago, prior to my use of the apple cider vinegar. I weighed 158 lbs, and I dropped 30 lbs within 4-5 months. I was able to keep it off for about 3 years, and then slowly started to regain over the past 1-2 years. I weighed 143 about a month ago, and I was at the point where I was NOT going back to 158 again. I started the apple cider vinegar. I now weigh 138, and I am full of energy...major plus!

I have read almost every post on this site and I am amazed at how much it has helped many of you. I know though, as in any other remedy out there, this may not work for everyone, but it does work for me. I am very intersted in trying the coconut oil now as well. I have elevated cholestrol, but not to the point of danger, although the high cholestrol runs in my family, as does heart disease on both sides of my family, so I figure it cannot hurt to give it a try. I am a 39 year old female, and have become very interested in living as healthy of a lifestyle as possible. I see a chiropractor twice a week as well, who is very supportive of this. I wish everyone all the luck in trying this. To those that have had hard time with it, never give up..keep the faith. A big thank you to the creators of this site. Julie-Michigan"
