REMEDIES NOT WORKING

02/06/2007: Perry from Shanghai, China writes: "I found Earth Clinic 4 months ago and felt excited at the easy method to cure warts. I had the annoying warts for about 2 years. But the total number has climbed to more than 20. According to the listed instruction, I took the peel secured on the warts with band-aid on it every night (for about 8 hours). After 4 days, the warts turned brown or even black. However, I found the warts were still black after practising this for one month. So I chose to quit at that time. Two months I decided to take on the remedy again but get the same result so far. Moreover, I found some new and small warts are turning out! I am not sure it's related to the banana remedy or the warmer weather here. I wonder anyone once has the similar problem and I need the help. Thank you!"

Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "Dear Perry: Not all natural therapies work because the organism inside the warts are different. A rather broad spectrum killing of warts I would prefer to use is" hydrogen peroxide 1% applied directly to the warts for about 1-3 minutes then, this is followed by 50% tea tree oil and 50% lavender oil soaked with a small cotton balls. The bandage is then taped over it overnight and you repeat the entire steps again with hydrogen peroxide, then tea tree oil and lavender lavender for at least two to three weeks for warts to at least be reduced. If the above simple methods don't work we may need to go for a higher concentration of hydrogen peroxide at 3% which may sting a bit. If the warts do have a presence of fungus then you may need to add a saturated borax to the 1% hydrogen peroxide before application. Whichever the case, if this remedy do not work as well within 1-3 days try to increase the hydrogen peroxide slowly to 2% then 3%. You should not go beyond 3% as the 3% is already too strong anyway. For most applications, I think a reasonable concentration is 1.5%."

WARTS AROUND RECTUM

12/16/2006: Roy from North Battleford, Saskatchewan, Canada writes: "I found your site about a month ago when I was looking for a cure for warts. I started to develop some around my rectum - I am currently trying the Banana treatment though it has been almost a month... I haven't been able to regularily treat them - is there anyone who has tried this for the same outbreak. Also, wanted to know if anyone can tell me if garlic in pill form would have the same effect as the actual cloves. Thanks. This is an awsome site - It's exciting to see that there are so many people going back to earth medicines"

Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "

Garlic and cloves are antiviral. But the fact that you mentioned persistent Cough, appears to be that the body is unusually acid from lowered immunity. To stop the persistent cough, what I do is I take a tiny piece (2-3 mm) of pure mentholated crystals and put it in my mouth for it to slowly dissolve. The more colder it tastes, the more the virus is being destroyed.

Menthol crystals react with virus protein by denaturing them fairly quickly. So within seconds, the cough should stop. If continue to take it throughout the day persistent cough should reduce by at least 90%. Taken over a longer period the cough should be eventually stopped. However that is only part of the story. The warts virus in the area mentioned indicates viral nature. Whenever I took the menthol crystals the menthol tends to circulate throughout the blood stream, killing the viruses from the inside out.

However, topical application of antiviral oils, such as lavender oil 50% and tea tree oil 50% applied long enough and frequent enough, such as 10 times a day should reduce the wart problems.

Based on the symptoms, it seems the dose for alkalinity should be higher than most people, so that would be 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda to 1/2 glass of water taken three times a day. This is the simplest formula. Or a better formula is one whole freshly squeezed lemon (or lime) plus baking soda until the fizz stops taken 3 times per day.

Finally, some zinc supplements, of zinc citrate, zinc gluconate, or zinc acetate, of 25 mg/day taken three days per week for about a month should be sufficient to increase the immune system since zinc is strongly antiviral. If the warts is not reducing, after a week, then I think doubling the dose should help, but still should not be taken over a month, with a maximum period of two months. Zinc is the strongest anti-viral mineral that I know of that is also an essential mineral for human health, but at the same time has antiviral properties too."

WART ON FACE

11/21/2006: Tony from Columbus, OH writes: "I have a wart on the left side of my face. I had it cut off by the doctor 3 years ago and it started growing back. I really need some GOOD advice on how to get rid of this thing! I've tried the duct tape method and now i'm trying the banana peel remedy. Maybe I don't have enough patience or maybe it's not working...I don't know. everyone is saying how their plantar warts are gone, but what about regular warts on the face? Please help someone!"

Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "Tony: Try some dissolved aspirin with water mixed with a drop of 3% hydrogen peroxide. Apply lightly 4x per day. Vinegar and a drop of hydrogen peroxide 3% also was helpful too. Warts is a viral condition. Therefore lavender, will also help too. In some cases zinc acetate, or zinc chloride solution (5%) will help. I prefer to mix 50/50 with magnesium chloride of another 5% added to help. It seems to work and frequency of application seems to help. Take some 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda plus 1/4 teaspoon of citric acid and 1/2 glass of water will prevent the body from getting warts help. Some zinc supplements once a week 25 mg also will help prevention in some ways. Ted"
