[YEA] Debbie from Melbourne, Australia writes: "I woke up last night with stomachache. I took 2 tsp of ACV in water with lemon juice and it subsided within 1/2 hour. On waking this morning it had come back and was painful so took a bigger dose of ACV with a few drops of lemon juice and water and it is subsiding again. I did try to put up with for ages but it was it was too painful so the ACV is definitely helping.

[YEA] Kathie from Houston, United States writes: "For tummy cramps (or the runs) Chamomile tea works wonders- it stops the spasms in your tummy that cause so much pain. Double bag it for extreem measures... If you know what I mean. Roman Chamomile essential oil also works well (just rub it on your tummy). - Do not use the Roman Chamomile for too long or it will stop your bowels. Please note that if you have the runs, your body is telling you that you need to get rid of whatever is inside of you, so do no clog it up too much.

I have also found (from personal experience- with in 30 minutes) that homeopathic ARSENICUM ALBUM works very well for food poisoning (vomiting and the runs), also make sure to take some probiotics to get the good bacteria back.

take care of yourself, KT

I decided to look on-line for any quick fix and also in part because I couldn't sleep when I came upon this site. After reading a bit I decided I would try apple cider vinager to see if it actually worked, plus I was desperate. I put one tablespoon with an 16oz bottle of water and began to sip it. I was surprised because it actually started to work! I feel better now and am happy because now I can go to sleep lol! Just had to post my results for everyone. Next time I have stomach pain I'll grab the ACV first! Thanks and good night!"

Anyway when I opened the fridge, I realized we had used it all. I didn't know what to do. I was in excruciating pain, by now. I looked around, and there was some apple juice on the shelf, so I decided to drink some, thinking "doctor's tell you to give it to babies and childrem when they have colic, so I thought, what the heck, maybe it'll give me some relief. Sure nuff, I drank about a half-a-glass, and "bingo" immediately the pain went away. Just today I ate some spicey food and it caused me to have sharp stomach (gas) pains, I drank some "warm" apple juice - no more pain. I wouldn't be caught without it in my home."

Happydude from Sydney, Nsw, Australia writes: "Chronic Stomach Pain & Fatigue

Hi, I am 21, I am constantly tired, if I go for a ten minute walk I have to spend the rest of the day in bed, I wake up exhausted and aching, this started after a severe sinus/lymp infection approx 8 years ago. I get severe stomach cramps/pain usually at night sometimes early morning, which started when I was about 6, after I was forced onto carrot juice and tomato juice diets for months, also having to drink bleach etc. I am constantly nauseous, and vomit if I eat or not, on average 1 to 10 times a day. I get aching joints, hot/cold sweats, pains in my chest, and find it very hard to breathe, please don't get confused those are not from panic attacks or anything similar. Zofran does help sometimes to stop me vomiting, most pain killers don't work cause I can't keep them down. The doctors, don't have standard blood tests and ct scans of my stomach, an sent me off to a psychologist who said I just need a social life.

I have also tried,(not all at once) ACV, Baking Soda, Citric Acid, Turmeric, Cayenne, Honey, Slippery Elm, Ginger, Hydrogen Peroxide, Kelp, Cinnamon, Mint, Garlic, most made my stomach cramp severely, and some like Slippery Elm works occasionally.

I am yet to try oil pulling.

I am desperate I don't know what else to do, please help, I appreciate any suggestion of what to try next.

[YEA] Don from Southwest, Michigan writes: "Stomach Pain and/or Gas

Strawberries.

For any kind of stomach ache, gas pain, heart burn or stomach upset of any kind, I eat 4-6 frozen strawberries and the discomfort is gone instantly. This remedy has worked 100% of the time for me for many years. It has also worked 100% of the time for everyone I have told. My mother is 89 and takes several medications and supplements and sometimes gets terrible stomach pains and gas. She ate 5 frozen strawberries and by the time she ate the last one her pain and gas had disappeared. She is a devout skeptic and was amazed at the results.

I have tried this with many different varieties of strawberries and they all work. My favorite here in southwest Michigan is called Early Glow and we freeze about 60 qt. every year. Just hull the "caps", rinse in water, let drain in a colander and put into whatever size plastic freezer bag you prefer. Even if they are out of season in your area and you have to pay a higher price at a super market, get at least one qt. to keep in the freezer. When you get a stomach ache eat 4-6 of them and your pain should disappear.

I hope this helps you stop wasting money on expensive, super hyped, over the counter upset stomach chemicals that in my opinion just do not work and always made me feel worse.

Best Wishes For A Peaceful Future
Don

[YEA] Renee from Seattle, WA writes: "My 11 year old daughter had a severe stomachache the other day that brought her to tears. She has suffered from these from time to time and I suspect it might be gall stones or constipation due to poor eating habits. Too much sugar and refined flour (lots of junk foods). It is tough trying to get her to eat better. Anyway, the pain was so bad she could hardly speak. (She's pretty talkative, so you know she was really hurting!) Anyway, I remembered that ACV worked pretty well for my mom's gall bladder attacks (that's another cure story). So I mixed about 2 tbs of ACV with 1 Tbs of Black Strap molasses for sweeter taste in a glass of about 16oz of water. These are approx measurements, I don't use measuring spoons etc, I just eyeball it. So I gave this to my daughter and had her drink it, She thought it was tasted bad and gagged a little at first, but I forced her to drink it. She complained the whole time, but this was an indication that it was working. She was able to talk well enough to complain! Within about 10 minutes, she was singing and talking again and had forgotten that her stomach was hurting. She had only drank about a quarter of the glass full. She was drinking it very slow because she thought it tasted bad. I kept reminding her that her stomach was feeling better because of the drink so she continued to finish the drink. Very fast acting!!"

[YEA] Kelly from Farmersville, California writes: "Baking Soda As Stomach Ache Remedy: About two years ago, a bunch of us went out to dinner, and I ended up eating too much. My stomach began to hurt and I immediately regretted eating the way I did. Afterwards, we all went to my cousin's house to watch the fights on TV. My stomach was killing me the whole time we were there. I tried walking around a bit, but it did nothing to help the problem. My cousin knew exactly what to do about this problem and mixed some baking soda in a glass of water. He told me to drink it down quickly. I drank about half of it and my stomach immedatley rebelled. I, honest to God, thought I was going to hurl! I managed to swallow the rest of the mixture, and before long, my stomach ache was gone. When we got home, I lay down on the couch, and when I got up, I felt much better. Baking soda tastes pretty nasty, but this remedy definitely helped me get over one killer of a stomach ache."

[YEA] Matt from Charlottesville, VA writes: "For stomache ache, reflux, or overfullness, chew or swallow the sticky black seeds of green cardamom pods (breack the fiberous shell by popping between the teeth). Cardamom is a popular spice in Indian and Southeast Asian cooking, and you can find then at Wholefoods in the bulk spice area. I prefer chewing the seeds -- they have a menthol-type flavor -- others who find the taste strong can swallow the seeds like a pill. Without doubt, this is the best stomach ache remedy I have ever found. Seriously, try it -- within minutes you will forget you even had an upset stomache!"

[YEA] Jeanne from Atl, Georgia writes: "Please be careful if you try activated charcoal! I was getting stomach pain 20 minutes after every meal. I finally figured out that my stomach pain started after I took activated charcoal (heaping tablespoon for 2 days in a row - not a lot!). I located the pain in my stomach, found a little lump in the colon, and then used my fist to move the lump to the left. A day later my husband took over, found the lump,(which had moved slightly) and did acupressure for about 2 minutes on the spot-- ohhh yes, it hurt. But within minutes I had to run to the bathroom and the rest is history. No more stomach pain. So please be careful with the charcoal, especially if you have a sensitive stomach! I think that people's stomach aches can be often be an impacted colon. The same thing has happened to me before after eating bread and another time, after drinking psyllium without enough water!

If you press on your stomach and have a painful spot that moves slowly from one day to the next, you may have clogged your colon/intestines. Tons of water helps, but acupressure massage is best to move the obstruction to your bowels and out. One last note is that I was having normal bowel movements even while my colon was impacted, so don't rely on that (constipation or elimination) to judge, but more on the location of pain and whether or not a little lump exists.

[YEA] Robert from Orlando, Florida writes: "Non-alcoholic beer remedy

Years ago I began to drink large amounts of fruit or vegetable juices like grape or V-8 or tomato juice, but the acid content eventually began to irritate my bowels. At one point my body could no longer tolerate those juices getting severe intestinal pains if I took any amount.

Then I began drinking juices together with non-alcoholic beer and found that, amazingly, I could drink unlimited amounts of juices that way without any problem whatsoever. I don\'t know what it is about beer that mitigates the effects of the acid in juices but I have been mixing the two and drinking them for many years now with no ill effects whatsoever. In fact, I find the taste of the combination to be superior to the taste of either one alone. The best way to do it is to mix the juice together (maybe about 25% to 50% beer) but they can be taken separately too.
