[YEA] 12/27/2007: Andreina from Roma, Italy writes: "In the morning, I mix 1Tbl ACV with a pint of water, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt. I put it in a bottle and drink it throughout the day. I repeat the procedure in the afternoon, so I drink 2 pints a day. It cures everything (my acne, sore throat, stomach ache, dry skin, sore joints...etc) I've been doing this for 3 months, and have dropped 7.5 kilograms! I <3 water! Be sure to mix it with salt and vinegar, so you don't lose vital nutrients, and sodium!"

[YEA] 04/24/2008: Debra from Turner, Oregon writes: "I have been having HORRIBLE stomach pain and nausea for months and months since my doc put me on Methadone to get me through until I can get a knee replacement. I have tried EVERYTHING in vain prescription acid pump inhibitors Aloe Vera gel (inner filet) yogurt calcium licorish caps mint All of these helped a little .. but not completely. I was still suffering a lot. Today, after finding this site, I decided to try the ACV. Wow! My stomach feels a lot better and it has only been an hour since I drank about a TBL of it in a half cup of water with a tsp of honey. WOW! Thank you to those who posted before me. Debra"

I decided to try it and it actually did help. THank you so much!"

[YEA] 11/24/2007: Sandy from sticks, Nevada writes: "ACV is the first thing we reach for when our tummies feel out of sorts. A tablespoon of ACV in a tall glass of water has helped us many times and usually very quickly. We try to take it the minute we get that feeling of sickness. Just sip it and take it easy until you start to feel better. I have had it work almost immediately -- sometimes it takes up to an hour. I wish I had known about ACV years ago, as I am prone to food poisoning."

[YEA] 08/12/2007: Karla from Okinawa, Japan writes: "I followed some advice on your website to use Apple Cider Vinegar for my indigestion. I had severe indigestion for hours, and was unable to find any relief via prescription medication or over the counter drugs. I took one tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar, and within 5 mins the indigestion began to ease up, and with in 15 mins I felt MUCH better. The bloating began to ease up as well. I was so happy to be free from the discomfort and horrible task of belching every few minutes for hours on end. Thanks so much! I sincerely recommend ACV to anyone experiencing indigestion accompanied with a lot of belching."

[YEA] 07/31/2007: Sherri from Lafayette, NJ writes: "Hi! My daughter has had stomach pains/problems all her life. After CT scans, lots of x-rays, lots of meds (one with a possible side effect being death!, etc.) and no answers, I decided to try to find something natural to help her. I had given her acv before and didn't notice a difference and had given her baking soda without a difference but, after finding this site and putting them together, she has instant relief every time she takes it. I know she has acid reflux sometimes and this stops it right away. She still feels sick at some point every day (usually at night) and this makes her feel better. I can't say that it's been a complete cure for her since she still feels a little bad every day but, it has been such a wonderful blessing to be able to give her this to relieve her pain instead of having to tell her to try to fall asleep so she won't feel bad anymore!! As I type this I realize that even though she is a little sick every day, it's not anywhere near as bad as it was!! Oh, she is 9 now and we've been doing this for about 3 months. Thank you for posting this info. I mention this link to people with health questions often!"
11/18/2008: Amy from Marietta, Georgia replies: "My daughter has frequent stomach aches. Can you tell me how much baking soda and ACV you use per day and how you mix it?
Thank you!"

[YEA] 06/25/2007: Dan from New York, New York writes: "I got a really bad cold a few days ago, and I could hardly stand not being able to breathe through my nose. Not only that, but the coughing, especially on the second and third days, was unbelievable. Finally my dad told me that he couldn't listen to my cough any more, but I didn't want to take any drugs/medicine. I found this site on Google and, of course, the first thing I saw was to drink Apple Cider Vinegar. I finally found some in the back of a cabinet and put some in a glass with honey. In less than ten minutes my cough had subsided to barely a tickle every five minutes and my nose cleared up so fast I could actually feel it loosening up. Not only that, but ACV also reduced the weird ringing in my ears and helped my upset stomach. I'm not saying that my cold is completely gone, but I'm easily 99% better than I have been in the last month. ACV is definitely the only thing for any kind of illness."

Over the counter remedies didn't help. In fact they seem to make it worse. I finally decided to get on the internet and I came across this site. I read abou the apple cider vinegar cure and it didn't sound right at first. It made my stomach ache more as I thought about trying it but at that point I couldn't afford to leave any possibility unturned. I tried it and my relief was almost immediate! ... If only the answers to all problems could be this easy! Thanks!"

[YEA] 04/19/2007: Debbie from Leamington, Ontario, Canada writes: "Hi, My father-in-law has been suffering from serious stomach problems for as long as I can remember. He took prescriptions that were very strong and costly. He just didn't think their was anything left to try. I suggested he try apple cider vinegar capsules according to directions on the container. A while later he is raving about how well he feels and how all of his prescriptions for various health problems are put aside. I urge people with stomach, intestinal and high blood pressure problems to try acv, they won't regret it. God bless."

[YEA] 11/17/2006: Diana from Bemidji, MN writes: "For over a year my medical doctors have been unable to find a cause or treatment for my severe abdominal pain that had caused me to be unable to work full-time. They then labeled my problem "anxiety." I finally ran into the idea of hypochlorhydria (low stomach acid) and the use of apple cider vinegar and digestive enzymes. WOW! I had almost immediate relief! I even love the taste of the vinegar undiluted. I work for a medical clinic and am extremely disappointed in doctors' lack of knowledge in natural remedies and their insistence on labeling me as having stomach pain as a result of anxiety. I'm glad I accidentally came across this remedy. It has saved my life, in my opinion."

[YEA] 06/02/2006: Rhonald writes: "Upset Stomach, Digestive ills -- I keep ACV on hand. In addition, it keeps your body pH acid level in check. I use it anytime I feel sick...which is usually in a moving car with people who are heavy on the pedals..UGGHHH, a horrible feeling. I also drink a bit in a little bit of water before a meal and digestion is greatly improved. Usually, my day is so hectic, at dinnertime if I am still wound, this helps greatly. My brother has terrible allergies and is drinking a bit each day...he says his problems are 80% better. In general it makes a tasty "cocktail" Some spring water, a bit of mineral water, some vinegar, and organic honey, or maple syrup..chill and UUMMMMMM.....UMMMMMMM...Delicious!"

[YEA] 05/31/2006: Connie from Houston, TX writes: "I had a stomach ailment since I was around fourteen. Not sure what it was, but found out that my sister, mother and I all shared the same symptoms. So, I thought it was a family issue. Since my teenage years I was not able to drink water first thing in the morning, on an empty stomach, nor have rice and water together. If I tried, would feel so ill that I would have to lie down for 20 to 30 min. Nor would my sister and I drink and eat rice together. Even though, I tested the theory over the years, same results. In February of 2006, I was introduced to ACV by a friend. I tried it. Immediately it got rid of indigestion. After the third day of ACV, with much anticipation, I tried a glass of water with my husband by my side. Wow! no discomfort after 23 years. I can't begin to explain how I felt. Now feeling triumph, the next day, I had a glass of water and bowl of rice. I was willing to bare the pain in hopes of a victory. It worked. No discomfort, no curling up in the bed from stomach pains and no more hesitation of drinking a glass of water in the morning. I have now been drinking water every morning (on an empty stomach) since that beautiful day in February. Thanks ACV. After 23 years, I now can have a glass of water first thing in the morning."

[YEA] 07/06/2008: Ellyn from Framingham, MA writes: "I think my symptoms are/were caused by a stomach bug. I drank the recommended 1 Tbsp of baking soda with water (3/4 cup cold, tasted like very salty alka seltzer) within minutes I burped INSTENSELY several times. I will try eating an apple later tonight to help. I do feel much better."
07/06/2008: Joyce from Joelton, Tn replies: "To Ellen from Framingham, Hi Ellen, I hope that was a typo, because a Tbsp. (tablespoon) of baking soda in 3/4 cup water is a lot of baking soda. I think it should have been tsp. (teaspoon) instead of Tbsp."
[YEA]07/08/2008: Teresa from Up North, Indiana replies: "Regarding Baking Soda and Stomach Bugs: I used a teaspoon or less in water for my kids. But, this worked well for them this past winter when the stomach bug was going around. Sometimes, they burped after the baking soda. Sometimes they vomited within minutes. But, either way, they felt much better."

[YEA] 10/02/2007: Brett from Brooklyn, New York writes: "Cure Gas Fast Angostura bitters remedy... I'm a night club dj. On several occasions I've gotten terrible stomach pain just before a gig at a bar. When I say terrible stomach pain, I mean eye watering, agonizing pain that comes in waves. Sometimes it feels like my stomach is in a knot and other times like it's being ripped apart. I've asked bartenders what I should drink. A few have suggested bitters. I'm not sure if this is the same as Angostura bitters, but it's the only thing I remember working. Generally after drinking something with bitters, my pain goes away in an hour or so. Without the bitters, I'm in pain all night and sometimes for a day or two after."

[YEA] 05/01/2007: Wayne from Port of Spain, Trinidad, West Indies writes: "Hi All: I'm from the island of Trinidad in the West Indies. Since I was a child, one of the standard remedies for alimentary disturbances - belly aches, gas etc. - has been a few dashes of Angostura bitters (AB) in a little cool water. AB is made only in Trinidad but is famous worldwide as a beverage taste enhancer. However, it was originally developed by a famous German doctor to treat his wartime patients for alimentary disturbances. Locally it is still used for same especially by "olden" folk. You can look it up yourself on the net."

[YEA] 01/02/2008: Lisa from Southeast, USA writes: "2 years ago I finally got healed of an ulcer for which I'd been taking medication for several years. So when I recently began having that telltale burning, gnawing pain in my stomach, I knew exactly what was happening.
I also knew the whole routine...doctor's appointment, upper GI, ultrasound etc etc., just to have them tell me what I already knew. PLUS, they'd prescribe medications which my insurance will no longer cover because there are now non-prescription strengths of them available over-the-counter. Needless to say, I was willing to try an alternative method to save myself the time and expense. If you've ever had an ulcer, you usually don't have to have someone tell you what one feels like.
Anyway, I read somewhere about cayenne's healing effects. A week ago, I was up and down through the night with that burning, and all the antacids I could chew were simply giving me no relief. So Thursday morning I got up, got brave, and mixed a full measuring teaspoon of cayenne pepper into a teacup of very warm water and drank it down on an empty stomach.
It wasn't nearly as bad as I expected! And while I was warm all over and my stomach burned a little more when the fluid first hit that spot, the pain quickly diminished. Within minutes, I felt better than I had the day before, and as the day wore on, I continued to feel even better.
Anyway, I've repeated this every day now for the past week, and by day 3 the burning pain in my stomach was COMPLETELY AND TOTALLY GONE, even first thing in the morning. I'm continuing the regimen for therapeutic and preventive purposes, just to see if it cures my allergies and other problems. I'll probably reduce the daily dosage now that the stomach problem has subsided, but I'm a believer! And I'm a lifelong advocate of that little red pepper...this is news worth sharing!
Thank God for natural remedies."

[YEA] 07/26/2008: Cathy from Richardson, Texas writes: "I was diagnosed with abdominal inflammation. This was in the area of the gall bladder. I tried DGL(Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice). In DGL, the glycyrrhizin compound-associated with high blood pressure-has been removed. I used the chewable kind. Dosage: two tablets when I started to have discomfort on my right side. After many years of having this condition, I have been cured with this product."
EC: Agreed, DGL is a great supplement. If you can't find it in your area of the world, try licorice root tea.

[YEA] 11/20/2007: Joyce from Joelton, Tn writes: "The best remedy I have found for indigestion, acid regurge, GERD, flatulence is elimination of all bleached flour products in the foods you eat - I find I can eat l00% whole grain bread without problems (usually cures most people's constipation problems also). I don't know what chemicals? are used in the bleaching process, but apparently that is where the problem comes from. However, you must really work at getting bleached flour out of your diet, as many pastas are made with bleached flour, many breads say whole wheat but read the ingredients and you'll find that most start off with bleached flour unless the label reads l00% whole grain. Most gravies, dips, sauces, etc. use the cheapest source of thickening agent - bleached flour. So try it and see if it works for you. It's nice having a "cast iron stomach" which has no problems with cayenne pepper, jalapeno peppers, and all that spicy stuff I used to blame my stomach problems on before I lucked up and stumbled upon the real cause of them."
