[YEA]  05/11/2008: Omi from Mississauga, Ontario, Canada writes: "re: Cayenne pepper for a bad sore throat. It WORKS IT REALLY WORKS! About a couple of days ago I caught my son's sore throat. It got so bad that I woke up in the middle of the night. I have tried gargeling with apple cider vininger and got some relief but the pain would keep coming back. I trid oil of oregano, same thing. Finally I decided to google remembering I had seen something about cayenne pepper. The cayene pepper I had was old so had no effect so went looking in the fridge and found a bottle of hot sauce made with aged cayenne pepper, distilled viniger, water, salt and garlic (you can't taste the garlic) and tried that, first couple of gargles and it burned like crasy especially the swollen sides of my thorat, and I found myself needing to spit after each gargle, it became easier and easier and the burning became less and less. I got at least 70% relief. I used 1/4 tsp of the hot suace in 250 ml of water and used the whole amount up. The way I feel now I know a few more tries and it will be gone for good. Thank you so, so much for everyone who has taken the time and trouble to write their experiences on here. It is 5am now and I am goingback to bed. nite all!!"

[YEA]  04/07/2008: Celena from Harper Woods, MI writes: "4 days of a very sore throat. I went to the Dr today & no strep he said "it's Viral, nothing to do but ride it out." I'm thinking what in the world am I going to do, I have to work tomorrow & can't go like this. So I started surfing the net. I mean i've tried everything cough drops, sucrets, hot tea with lots of lemon & honey, vitiman C, Claritin, gurgling with hot salt water, you name it I tried it. I can not believe this really works, I still have a little bit of soreness but I'm going to stick with it. My sore throat improved dramaticly with just the first try. It is a little hot but the pay off is so worth it. Thank a bunch to all who left comments. When I first found this I thought everyone was crazy, but I thought what's the worst that could happen, that my mouth would be on fire for a little bit. Thanks!!"

[NAY]  04/05/2008: Renate (mohicans at tds dot net) from Smalltown, Oklahoma writes: "I just went through about with an extreme sore throat for 6 days. I am convinced I had strep throat, as I can't remember having a sore throat as painful as this. No puss or sign of infection otherwise. Thank God I don't have any tonsils! I tried gargling everything under the sun, cider vinegar & honey, salt, peroxide & soda, brandy, Listerine, camomile tea, and, your cayenne pepper, 1/8 tsp to a cup of warm water every half hour for two days. I love the taste, but the pain only got worse. NOTHING helped!!!

I finally got rid of the pain today, but rules do not permit me to tell you how - that is unfortunate."

[YEA]  03/30/2008: Adrian from London, England writes: "I tried the Cayenne Pepper remedy yesterday, i was getting very tired from lack of sleep, pain killers were not helping. I thought i'd try, it would take a week to get a docs appoinment and for a sore throat!! Off to the shops i went and came back with Cayenne Poweder and some honey. I must have gargled 8 times yesterday, i didn't really feel much at first but i had read a comment saying stick with it. It was like gargling spicy soup. The last time last night it did feel slightly better and i had a good sleep. 3 times today i have gargled and the nagging pain is getting better. I had a bad ache down the side of my neck from my ear which has gone and i still have a slight sore throat, but its on its way out! I am pleased and will keep a pack of powder for future bad throats, i'm glad it helped. I used a good 1/4 teaspoon of powder and good squeese of honey. A couple of times with lemon juice. Warm water and swollowed a little bit as people have been saying but gargled the rest. My advice, give it a go and keep doing it, stick with it for 2 days and it'll help!"

[YEA]  03/28/2008: Raquel from Brisbane, Australia writes: "I tried 1/8th of a teaspoon of Cayenne Pepper with 2 tablespoons of honey in 250mls of warm water and flushed the infected area of my throat using a sports bottle... my relief was instant. The solution left a tingling feeling in my throat - when this started to ease I flushed my throat again with the solution. I repeated this routine for the next 2 hours & I am now completely free of pain. Thank you to all those who took the time to give feedback - cayenne pepper is a winner!"

[YEA]  03/22/2008: Jimmy from Falmouth, KY writes: "I have an extraordinary pain tolerance. I'm devistated by sore throats. Desperate to avoid strep throat and a trip to the doctor, I looked up home remedies. I found this site. I put 1/8th teaspoon of cayenne in 8 oz of water with a teaspoon of real lemon juice concentrate. I gargled the mixture and swallowed just a bit after each gargle. You should get about 6 or 7 gargles. I don't like spicey food, I didn't coat my lips with vaseline. I had a 50 percent ruduction in the pain immediately."

[YEA]  03/14/2008: Andrea from Longmont, Colorado writes: "I have had the WORST sore throat and nothing was helping. I know that it is good to drink tea and orange juice (so that you pee a lot and clean outyour system and get the vitamin C) but not even Cephecal (the numbing cough drops) were helping to relieve the pain. Then, I put vasaline on my lips (as advised) and combined 1 CUP of OJ (without pulp) with 1/4 tablespoon of Cayanne Pepper. It wasn't that hot to me (but I can take hot) and after gargling and then drinking it immediately after, I feel relief. I think I will try this again with more cayanne. Thanks so much! I read my son his stories and wasn't in total pain with a throat losenge in my mouth!"

[YEA]  03/13/2008: Rich from Atlanta, GA writes: "Cayenne Pepper for sore throat (Remedy) - put me under "Yea" please. This works. I don't usually care a bit for most home remedy -type stuff, but I'm sitting over here developing strep. It got so bad that I couldn't even swallow like a normal person without restraining the reflex to vomit, and having to wipe my eyes from the pain. Me. A 30 year old guy as big as a football player. My mom actually called me with this cure. The pain was so bad that I figured why not, so I hit the store and came back to give it a shot. That was at about 1:15PM. It is now not quite 3:15, and I feel so much better, I can't even tell you. There's still some pain and soreness there, as anybody would expect, but it's just a shell of the agony it was this morning. I would not write this comment if I didn't mean what I say. If you're in pain, try this. It will burn your mouth like hellfire for a minute, but it's gloriously, beautifully worth it. When the fire dies down, you'll be shocked at the difference. Thanks Penny, and thanks Earth Clinic."

[YEA]  03/12/2008: Pam from Nashville, Tennessee writes: "My throat has been so sore for 6 days and always the worst in the morning upon waking. It has been very dry, burns, feels bruised and swollen from drainage. Yesterday I started to call the Dr. but decided to surf the net first. I came across this web site. What a God send! I had never in my life had a sore throat this bad, so I tried a little less than 1/8 of a tsp. of Cayenne Pepper in my coffee and set myself on fire with the first sip. But I liked the way it actually made my throat feel. I then made a pot of homemade chicken soup and added 1 tsp. of cayenne to it. I did gargle alittle with the broth of the soup with cayenne added. I only had one bowl but will have more today just as a precaution.. This morning I awoke with no sore throat!! I can't believe something so simple is such a miracle cure. You are all wonderful, insightful people and this Earth Clinic site is now in my favorites on my computer. Thank you all for sharing your knowledge. You are now my friends for life!"

[YEA]  02/28/2008: Soon-to-be-mom from Riverside, California writes: "I'm currently 23 weeks pregnant and don't have a whole lot of options when it comes to cures. I've had the worst sore throat for the last couple days. I haven't slept much due to the pain. I found this sight and decided "What the heck?" I figured the worst that could happen is it wouldn't work. So I mixed about 1/8 tsp. of cayenne with about 8oz. water and gargled until the glass was empty. My sore throat isn't gone yet but I'm sure that if I keep it up it will be soon. I've only done 1 glass and i am already able to swallow without cringing. In between I'm using salt water which helps with the slight burning on my tongue. Next time I might try the spray bottle idea."

[YEA]  02/25/2008: Kelly from Colorado Springs, Colorado writes: "Well, after 2 visits to the doctor in 5 days due to a SEVERE sore throat with sores and white spots, I really thought I had strep throat. I tested negative both times, but my throat was so sore that I sat on my couch and cried. I haven't slept in 3 nights because it's just getting more and more worse, even after going to the store and buying $20 worth of medicines for colds and sore throats. I gargled with salt water, took 3 kinds of throat drops, ate ice cream to let it slide down my throat for any relief that I could get. Nothing worked. I even used a sinus rinse that you can buy in Walmart to cleanse out my sinuses. Still, nothing worked. Then thinking I was doomed to be sick forever (it seems like that when your miserable), I googled sore throat remedies and found this website. I, like everyone else, was sick and tired of being sick and tired and looking for SOME form a relief. I went ahead and tried the warm water and cayenne straight up since I felt I couldn't possibly feel any worse, and it WORKED! IT REALLY WORKS! I plan on keeping it up until it's totally gone, but I'm feeling like my old self again! I betcha by tomorrow I'll feel like going outside! My husband is in another state at the moment, but he's got the same thing that I have, so I told him and he's on his way to the store right now! Thank you so VERY, VERY MUCH for this LIFE SAVING information!"

[YEA]  02/23/2008: Chris from Columbus, Ohio writes: "I read the comments and the remedy itself about gargling cayenne pepper-filled water. I started having a sore throat 3 days ago, looked in the back of my throat and compared symptoms 2 days ago and realized it was strep, and this morning it was so bad it brought tears to my eyes with each swallow.

I have taken so much ibuprofen over the past 2 days, easily twice as much as I have ever taken for anything else. I stopped taking it about 4PM today, and started looking for a better solution at about 8. I went to the store to get Cayenne, and while I was there I was hungry (surprising over these past 3 days) so I got some kettle-cooked jalapeño chips as well as the cayenne pepper. I gargled some water with quite a bit more cayenne than I figured was necessary, then ate some chips (I grew up with Mexicans, I love spicy food). After only 1 gargle and some chips, my throat is feeling drastically better. I'm about to go gargle another cup. Thanks for your guys' help!"

[YEA]  02/17/2008: Kevin from Brooklyn, NY writes: "I've been sick for about the past two days, with a very strange flu like cold but not quite the flu. Anyway, my throat was hurting me very very badly. It felt like someone stucka size 11 shoe with spikes down my throat. I was thinking about going to the hospital for antibiotics but instead thought perhaps I should search for a natural cure before spending hundreds of dollars. Sure enough I found your site and saw the comments about cayenne pepper. It just so happens that I have a bottle of ______ cayenne solution in my cabinet. So I gargled and sipped a bit and I can feel a bit of relief when I swallow. It's only been about 10 minutes since I did it and I an feel a difference. I will continue to do it throughout the day and see if makes the soreness go away completely"

[YEA]  02/15/2008: Mike from Los Angeles, California writes: "Terrible sore throat past couple of day. Same symptoms as many others here: pain kept me awake all night, felt like I swallowed razor blades. Tried benzocaine/menthol throat lozenges (basically useless). Tea with honey and lemon(better). Then I thought I'd look up some home remedies and came across this site. I didn't have any cider vinegar on hand so I thought I'd give the cayenne mixed with warm water gargle remedy a try. I ended up mixing a 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne in a 1/2 cup of hot water, which I let cool to warm. The thought of gargling with red hot pepper tea to cure what felt like a throat full of razor blades seemed very scary, but it ended up not being as bad as it sounds. And it worked!"

(i think i'll wait a little bit, though, because it is kinda spicy)"

[YEA]  02/05/2008: Jessica from Brooklyn, New York writes: "I used the Cheyenne Pepper for a SEVERE sore throat that kept me up all night long until 3:50AM! I took amoxicillin that I had in my medicine cabinet, halls drops, warm soup, NOTHING HELPED. I even resorted to eating a chain of ice pops just to get some relieve, but it was a no go. I then decided to rush to the emergency room as soon I saw the sun, but then I googled "Sore Throat Cures" and came to this site. I browsed through the testimonials, skeptically, all the while rubbing my ENFLAMED throat...Finally, in desperation, I thought: "Let me try it! I have nothing to lose and possibly everything to gain.

So I took a half a glass of the hottest water I could stand, emptied a little more than half a capsule of Cheyenne into it, added honey, about 2 teaspoons of lemon juice (These were all grocery bought items I had lying around...)and gargled with it and I repeated the gargling 4 more times throughout the night. (even though the first shot was enough to be satisfied, I wanted to make sure it would STAY gone!) It was AMAZING! I instantly took away my sore throat, and now I can even swallow without feeling like sandpaper is going down with my saliva! Anyone who's the least bit skeptical, don't hesitate PLEASE! It REALLY works!"

[YEA]  02/03/2008: Sarah from La Linea, Spain writes: "I just wanted to say that my 2 year old little girl just got over a bad case of what I think was strep throat. She was puking and everything. We took her to the ER cos she wasn't keeping anything down and they gave her some antibiotics. Then of course, that night I felt my throat going. I felt like crap last night and decided that tonight I would search for some home remedies. And I came across this website. I was playing with some ways to take the Cayenne Pepper and settled on actually drinking a tablespoon of lemon juice and cayenne pepper, equal parts. It seems to have cut out my sore throat by about 50% so I'll keep it up. Advice for anyone thinking about trying this? Just try it - you have nothing to lose! Thanks people."

Well the one pain I can't stand is a sore throat! (Sad I know.) So as I was Google searching sore throat remedy's, I came across this site. I saw a lot of people say "cayenne and water", so I decided to try it. What I did was take a little under 1/8 of a TEASPOON of cayenne pepper and 1/2 a cip of warm water. Just mix that together and gargul. I thought to myself "This is going to burn like CRAZY!!" But amazingly enough it helped more than it burned!!! The only thing is your tounge feels a litle funky after you do it. Other than that, I would just like to say thank you to the people who posted it on this website!!"

I was very skeptic, and trust me, the Cayenne powder looks gross in water, but I made myself do it because my throat felt so awful. I started about 35 minutes ago, and it already feels better. Yes, it does sting - I put on lip balm before doing it, and it helped. But really, it even relieved my cough some!! seriously, just try it. what can you lose?"

I have been sick since Xmas..first the Flu and it went away and then I got sick again! This time I waited for over a week thinking it would go away..nope! Had to go to the Dr who said I had a sinus infection and prescribed Z-Pack and Nazonex. She also did a Strep test that made my already horrible sore throat 100 times worse!! My throat was so painful everytime I swallowed I felt like some one was sticking a knife in my throat..I am NOT kidding. I called back to talk to the Dr and she was out..the nurse said to gargle with Salt water and suck on cough drops.."come On" I thought...I tried it..and of course it did not work. I was in tears..got the throat spray..didn't help. Googled Sore Throat and found this web sight. Thank GOD! I was hesitant (not a spicy food girl at all) but sooo desperate I sent my husband to the store last night for it. First I put it in Soup..just alittle..then I gargled with the 1/8 tsp & 1 cup water. I only did half of the glass..it was not bad like I feared. By the time I went to bed to my amazement..my throat improved 75%. I put some in my coffee this morning..not to bad..then in my soup again for lunch. I am SOOOOOO HAPPY to say my throat is at 98% improvement!!!!! I hadn't slept 2 night prior without waking up 3 or 4 times in pain. Last night I slept straight through!!! I am telling EVERYONE!!THANK YOU! I would still be a miserable mess right now with out trying this. Believe a once skeptic..This Works!!"

I had a sore throat and was on day 4 when I decided to do a search online. Thank God for this website. With encouragement from my husband (who loves spicy foods) I decided to try it. I made the tea and only used half the amount called for of the cayenne. IT WORKED! But not right away...it took gargling with the same amount in warm water for a few hours to help the soreness go away. Here I am just the next morning and feeling worlds better. My sore throat is basically gone! This is one wonderful cure. Give it a try. Well worth it."

[YEA]  01/01/2008: Lynda Brewer (lyndaj70@gmail.com) from Princeton, ky writes: "I have felt like garbage for several days, with sore throat, swollen tonsils, and general aches and pains. Yesterday I couldn't take it anymore and decided to fight this thing. I have used jalapenos in the past, so I opened a fresh jar, dumped some in my blender, and after processing, just warmed some tortilla chips in the oven and started dipping. That gave me some more energy, where I was able to move around and didn't want to sleep all of the time, but it didn't help the sore throat.

This morning while I had more energy, I could barely swallow, my tonsils were so swollen! Looking inside my mouth I could see sores on the back of my throat. It's New Year's, so everything but emergency rooms are closed, so I hopped on the Web and found this site, and tried the cayenne gargle.

I heated the water to boiling in my kettle, mixed in the pepper powder, and let it cool to temperature, hoping it would help to extract the properties better. Then I gargled. It was rather warm in my mouth, and I could really tell when it hit one of the sores, but I didn't rinse my mouth afterward, instead taking a drink of tea with a drop of tabasco sauce in it, hoping to get some of the benefits further down my throat. After piddling around my house for a few minutes, I stopped in shock: my tonsil swelling had diminished! I am not kidding! It doesn't hurt to swallow as bad, and the tonsils are no longer swelled to the point where it is obvious on my neck! It is still early in the treatment, and of course the sores are still in my throat, and my tonsils still have a bit of swelling, but I am amazed at the sudden initial drop! I am going to continue to use this gargle a couple of times an hour for a couple days, but at least now I feel better to where I can run to the store and grab some more chips and jalapenos. Perhaps between the two I'll knock this thing without paying a stupid quack..."

[YEA]  12/29/2007: Milind from Mumbai ( Bombay ), India writes: "After suffering for almost 8 days and not eating for three 'cos of badly hurting sore throat I came across this sit, saw this remedy. I was not ready to believe it, how something like hot chilly powder can cure a throat. I was apprehensive but desperate and I decided to give it a try knowing it will worsen my condition, not telling anyone for the fear of people calling me an idiot. First time reaction 'am I really feeling a bit different. Still I kept at it for a few more times ( I am bit on the adventures side, like experimenting with myself and off-course desperate in need of relief ).Next morning I was positive I was feeling a bit better. It didn't go away took almost three days to finally cure me. It worked, why, how I still don't know a coincidence may be but how it can be that it gradually worked after every treatment. It is still very hard to believe but thank god I tried it and IT WORKED."

[YEA]  12/21/2007: Vibs from New Delhi, India writes: "I am quite prone to sore/strep throat since childhood. Just few months back I had a bad throat and I was avoiding anti biotics. So I read about cayenne on the net. I tried gargling with cayenne twice but was not very sure about it, although it gave me some releif, and decided to stop it (which I should not have) and took anti-biotics and faced all its side effects. Yesterday again I had a sore / red / painfull throat with fever, and I decided to go for cayenne. I took 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne in luke warm small cup of water and gargled every 2 hours during the day. Also I took homeopathic belladona medicine side by side. [YEA]  12/07/2007: Delia from Mooloolah Valley, Australia writes: "After 2 weeks of the worse sore throat I made a Dr appointment but could not get in till the next afternoon. So in desperation I searched the net and found this site. Off to the shop and brought the cayenne pepper and mixed 1/2 tsp in a glass of water and within 20 minutes I had some relief. I did this a few time till I was able to go to sleep. I started to gargle with 1/8 tsp the next day every 30 minutes. By the time I arrived at the doctors it was so much better I told her I did not need the medication. Thank you Delia in Australia"

[YEA]  12/05/2007: Angela from Cincinnati, Ohio writes: "I'm finally on my way to some much needed sleep after 4 days but first I had to say THANK YOU! A little background: I've been sick for 5 days with a horrible sore throat, chills, fever, body aches etc. Doctor said it's sinus infection turned bacterial and gave me antibiotics. After 36 hours on the meds and no relief, the sore throat was only getting worse. Hot honey tea wasn't even helping me. I haven't eaten in 5 days - not ANYTHING. Just fluids because of my sore throat and even swallowing tea or water was starting to kill me. I've never tried a 'natural remedy' before in my life having grown up in a medical family where antibiotics were always the cure. Even though I do well with spicy food, I decided to try the honey/lemon/cayenne trick. It didn't taste bad at all. I probably even used less than 1/8 tsp because I'm scared. The first time didn't offer me too much relief. I tried it a few hours later and right after, I was bummed because again no relief. After 15 minutes of looking at your site to see what I've done wrong, I realize that my throat can swallow again!!! This is fantastic. I'm going to continue this for a few days and tell everyone I know about earthclinic.com (Including my doctor who is actually very much a lover of home remedies) Thank you so much to all the people who gave detailed information. I will continue the antibiotics to hopefully rid the fever and infection but this is a huge step for me! I can't wait to sleep and eat tomorrow!"

[YEA]  11/22/2007: Holly from Clarksville, TN writes: "I woke up this morning with an unbearable sore throat. I have tried evrything under the sun including salt water, but nothing has lessened the pain. I went out and picked up some cayenne pepper. I've been gargling every 15 min with 1/2 tsp in a 1/2 cup warm water. This has definitely made it easier to swallow and it's only been 45 min! I'm also not a fan of spicy foods, but after gargling, I recommend rinsing your mouth with cold water. This will take away the burning sensation quickly."

I'm going to use it every 30 mins til I can fall asleep. Thank you so much! I had never heard of this before, and the salt water wasn't helping one bit."

[YEA]  11/02/2007: Jason from Pleasanton, CA writes: "I felt the onset of a sore throat last Friday night. Saturday I woke up with it, and it returned before I went to sleep that night. Sunday I Googled "sore throat remedy," and found this site. I got the cayenne that day. It absolutely worked from the start for me. My sore throat never reached a point of intolerability thanks to the cayenne. First I tried it as directed. I microwaved a glass of water. Measured out an 1/8th of a teaspoon. Dropped it in. The steam made me cough a little, and the smell reminded me of tobasco, but in trying out gargling I learned that neither the spicyness nor the taste were unbearable. In fact, since I'd prefer not to gargle, I took to sipping it instead. In the following days I tried it out in coffee, and tea, and water of varying temperatures. It always worked. I never measured past that first time. I just sprinkled the pepper in like I'd salt my eggs or something. My throat never got worse, and it was totally cured by Thursday. Five days is very bearable for a sore throat that is kept to a mere irritation through using the cayenne. I will always keep cayenne handy in the future. For me, this beat sprays, lozenges, and salt water hands down."

[YEA]  11/01/2007: Renee from Omaha, Nebraska writes: "I only tried it about 30 minutes ago, but I can already feel it helping with the pain of my sore throat. I used Cayenne pills (from Walmart) and broke them open into some warm water and added a splash of apple cider vinegar. At first, I was afraid it was going to burn too much and cause more pain because my throat has been raw for the past 4 days. I tried it and it seems to work a little better if you can stand to just swallow it - but it is hot. Like taking a swallow of tabasco, it goes away in a few minutes and the pain is a different sort of pain than the sore throat, so in a way it feels good/different. Definitely recommended for anyone with a stubborn sore throat."

[YEA]  09/01/2007: Catie from Lewisville, Texas writes: "I took Al from Malaysia's advice and tried the chili pepper version because I don't have cayenne on hand and couldn't muster up the energy to pile the kids in the car to go get some. First let me say that I believe my sorethroat is allergy related. It's hard to take anything to help my "scratchy" throat without putting myself to sleep, being that all allergy medicine has antihistimine. That being said, I generously sprinkled the chili pepper into my coffee, and it didn't taste that bad. Then I got brave and warmed up about 1/2 c. of water, a squirt of generic honey, and 1/8 tsp. of chilli pepper. That went down surprisingly easy. Plus, before I even finished my cup of warm water I was beginning to feel a difference. Thank you Earth Clinic!"

[YEA]  08/30/2007: Alyssa from Bull Valley, Illinois writes: "I, like a lot of people, am absolutely miserable when I have a sore throat. Last night I could feel I had a sore throat coming on so I drank a cup of lemon tea with honey, but I woke up at 4 a.m. with a terrible sore throat. Miserably I tried to sleep, but I couldn't... The worst part was that this is the last weekend of summer vacation and I had some really big plans with my friends which I would not be able to fully enjoy if i had a sore throat, bugging me everytime I talked, swallowed, ate, or drank. So I googled sore throat remedies and this website came up. I scanned through it and thought, "pepper? no way!" but I was desperate so I ran out to the store and got a tiny little shaker of cayenne ground red pepper. I paid 4 bucks for that little thing, but I was so desperate. I got home and warmed up a mug of water and put a tiny spoonful of the pepper in. The water turned an icky red and I was afraid to drink it... but I knew I had to try it, I mean like 200 other people posted here and said it worked great, so I gargled a little bit. Besides my mouth burning, my throat was the same, if not worse. So I tried swallowing a little and my throat burned terribly. I was annoyed that I believed that it would actually work, but than a couple minutes later, the pain in my throat was reduced by like 75%! I was so happy! I'm going to drink a little of this every 15 minutes to keep my throat nice and pain free! Tonight I'll drink some Theraflu (helps all cold symptoms) mixed with blueberry tea, and a little bit of the pepper. Hopefully it will be gone by morning. Thanks so much earthclinic."

I, like everyone else got online to look up some type of relief.this one works a hundred times better then just the salt alone. The way that worked best for me was to make it fairly concentrated with pepper. After I gargled just a bit I then laid down on the floor and let the hot water and cayenne pepper sit in the back of my throat for a couple of minutes, turning my head from side to side every once in awhile. After getting all of the pepper out. There was a little discomfort for a few minutes. But my soar throat got knocked down to about fifty percent of how much it was hurting. WELL WORTH IT!!!"

1) It fired up my mouth like crazy. Your stomach will start cramping and the remedy will turn in to be a nightmare! 3) THE WORST PART: Going to the Toilet for a "Bowl-Movement". Only Lord knows how burny and itchy it is when the watery "Bowl-Movement" caused by the red pepper gets out of your anus! Oh Lord!"
