REMEDIES NEEDED
12/09/2011: Susie from Palm Desert, Ca writes: "What can I put on my face for the brown spots/possible scars after a chemical peel?"
Replies12/09/2011: Kimi from San Diego, Ca replies: "You can use apple cider vinegar with "The Mother" in a 50/50 toner blend, the other 50 would be H2O.The juice of a raw onion works as well.
Look into the Clarisonic... Works wonders!"
12/11/2011: Susie from Palm Desert, Va replies: "WHAT IS THE MOTHER MEAN AND WOULD RAW JUICE FROM AN ONION ALSO BE ADDED OR USED BY ITSELF?"

I don't drink much water..... Can this be my issue? I am in a state of panic after seeing myself in a full length mirror. Any advice?"

06/16/2011: Peggy from Santee, California, Us writes: "For almost a year now I've had some sort of skin irritation on my neck & chest. I'm 59 years old and so my skin isn't perfect by any means but this began suddenly and I thought it could of been stress but it's still bothering me. When it first started it was a SCARLET red large splotch on middle of my neck (of course right where the wrinkles are) and red splotches all over my chest area and some red on my chin. The irritation and itching was almost unbearable. My regular doctor gave me some extra strength cortizone cream and I was desperate to do whatever would give me relief so I used it. It did help and I used it for two weeks.
Since then the horrible scarlet isn't there and it's not unbearable but the RED is still there and it's always feeling irritated. Before I've began my own search for more natural ways to treat these things I made an appt. with the dermatologist. Well that was a big mistake! He really didn't know what it was caused by because every question he asked me..... Did I change any laundry products or foods or vitamins or creams or wear jewelry or..... All were negative answers! I've made no changes to cause this and I'm not constantly in the sun and wear sunscreen should I go in sun and why is it only on this one area of my body? So this dermotologist prescribed a different cream. I tried it FOR ONE DAY and threw it away! The area which was suppose to be treated for redness and irritation because firey red and felt like it was on fire! So I looked up the medication and it was some sort of steriod with tons of side effects! NO WAY am I using that!
so I'm asking for any suggestions and advice of what this may be and what to use that will help! I live in Southern California and summer is quickly approaching and with two grandsons to care for daily I can't hide in my house!"
Replies06/17/2011: Debbie from Melbourne, Australia replies: "Peggy when I got a rash on my face (it was there for over a week) I used Vitamin C powder (sodium abscobate) and fresh aloe vera juice."
06/17/2011: Jeff from Mckinney, Texas replies: "Hi Peggy -- I have read alot on this site and it seems there are three things that I would try if I were in your shoes.1) Baking Soda -- mix it with a little water and put it on the spots. I did this for some spots I had and it relieved the itching/burning and got rid of the spots within a week. I also tried rubbing a little Milk Of Magnesia on and it seemed to soothe it as well.
2) ACV -- some people have reported improved skin conditions by using this on spots as well as ingesting.
3) Iodine -- now, I don't know that this would help in this situation but it doesn't hurt to try painting one of the small spots and see what the results are.
I would try all three on three different spots and see what works. Have you noticed any difference in your overall health since these things appeared? Alot of times skin conditions are indicative of something going on in your body. Please keep us informed of your progress."
06/17/2011: Peggy from Santee, California, United States replies: "Thanks for the info. The thing with mine is that they aren't really "spots" but all of the skin on my neck and chest area is effected. I'll try some ideas this weekend and see how it responds.thanks"
06/19/2011: Linda from Alpharetta, Ga replies: "Skin conditions are usually an expression that there is something not in balance in the digestion system. The cause can be stress, or too acidic nutrition and all kind of other things. I would try to drink ACV mixed in water and twice a day 1/2 teaspoon baking soda mixed in water. That should clear the rash. You can also additionally put some ACV on a cotton ball and pad the rash with it. Hope you feel better!"

03/26/2011: Nikki from London, Uk writes: "Hi, I have just discovered Earth Clinic in my quest to become more conscious and love it! I am a bit overwhelmed by all the info though and not sure where to start. I want to switch from store-bought ski products to homemade ones so can anyone please recommend what I could use as facial moisturiser and wash for sensitive skin. It's not in bad shape considering I've been haphazard on its care but does get dry and blotchy easily if it doesn't like what I put on it. I tried baking soda but it may be a little too drying so am now trying it with a little olive oil mixed in. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!"
Replies03/27/2011: Blanche from Iberia Parish, Louisiana Usa replies: "Simple is best. If your face is not that dirty, just use warm water splashed on a few times, then blot dry.To remove makeup, try olive oil or almond oil or experiment with other natural oils. If you must use soap, get the mildest soap you can find - never a deodorant soap. or a night time moisturer, use coconut oil.
If you feel the need to exfoliate, wet your face, then sprinkle a small amount of sugar on them, then scrub very gently and rinse with cold water.
Always wear a hat in strong sunshine."
03/30/2011: Wakalaka from San Diego, Ca replies: "If you use baking soda, try using it with a cream based cleanser and only once or twice a week. I love baking soda for exfoliating. For moisturizing I use Extra Virgin Organic Coconut Oil. Use it everywhere, not very greasy and doesn't make you break out. Best moisturizer I have ever used! Add it to your diet for extra benefit, just look it up because it has a ton of uses."

01/24/2011: Dee from Porter, Tx writes: "Ted, or anyone who has ever experienced this...
My 6 year old son stabbed himself in the cheek with a sharpened pencil. This was weeks ago, and I expected the gray, graphite mark under his skin to go away, but it has not. I immediately put peroxide on it after it happened. It wasn't bleeding, so I wasn't sure what else to do. If this is graphite residue under his skin, is it toxic? If so, how can it be removed?
My father stabbed himself in the leg with a pencil when he was a boy. He said the tip broke off in his skin. He still has a dark purplish mark on his leg, 50 years later. I don't want that to happen to my son's face. As far as I could tell, none of the tip broke off under his skin, but now I'm not so sure. Please help."

09/20/2010: Gloria from Farmington Hills, Mi writes: "Hello,
I am a 32 year old female and 2 years ago I developed oily skin. I started getting a few pimples, but did not have oily skin. My Doctor prescribed me differin gel. I used it for about a week and stopped. My skin was so oily. I thought when I stopped using the differin my skin would go back to normal. Well, 2 years later, I am dealing with very oily skin, which has given me large pores, and whiteheads on my forehead and cysts on my chin and around mouth. I've tried everything to stop this overproduction of oil. Both natural products(yogurt masks, egg white masks, ACV, baking soda etc. ) and benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid products, along with antibiotics. Nothing worked! I eat very well. No gluten, no processed foods. I've been to a naturepathic doctor as well as an acupuncturist, and I have now been on Birth Control for 6 months, and nothing is taking my oily skin away! I am at my wits end and do not know what else to do. Did the gel cause my problem, or is oily skin always due to something going on internally? Any advice would be so appreciative. Thank you"
09/20/2010: Zsaqwe from Brownsville, Texas replies: "I use Phillips milk of magnesia in my face to even the color. Many people use it for oily skin. I don't know it this can be helpful to you. I love to use it on my face but I don't have an oily skin problem."
09/21/2010: Atlanta, Ga from Atlanta, Ga replies: "Hi Gloria, I went through a phase where I was oily and breaking out.. Always had been on the normal to dry side. I too thought it was internal until I switched to bar soap rather than using liquid soap. Everything cleared up nicely. Perhaps there is something in the liquid soap you are sensitive to. Good luck!"
09/23/2010: Gloria from Farmington Hills, Mi replies: "Atlanta, thank you for your response. What bar soap do you use? I was thinking of trying a goats milk bar soap. I've heard good things about goats milk, and have been using goats milk yogurt as a mask/cleanser for a couple of days."
09/24/2010: Elizabeth from Nashville, Tn replies: "I've heard milk of magnesia works wonders. It turns your face white so I would only do it at night."
12/18/2010: Christal from Kyle, Texas replies: "Hey in response to Gloria, You should get some Bentonite Clay and take it internally daily, It sucks all the toxins out and cleans out your bowels, you can do a Bentonite Clay Detox And you can also make it into a wonderful clay mask, check out http://www.aboutclay.com gives you some amazing information about it, I had the worst acne growing up and I would try everything, Don't use antibiotics, ever. You need to start ingesting Organic Coconut oil as it is antifungal. My dermatologist told me I have rosacea and perioral dermatitis, I ingest Apple Cider Vinegar (with the mother) daily, as with Coconut oil and I have been taking the bentonite clay and I also use it as a mask, however if you are going to ingest the clay, mix it with some organic chocolate milk, its much easier to down that way...."

I have no health issues, no rash, no fever, etc. My leg feels as though something has rubbed against it and has irritated the skin but it is not red just looks normal. But in the last couple of days even the skin on my stomach has started to feel tender. I have used Eucalyptus oil and even resorted last night to trying Clobetasol... To no avail. Clothing bothers me and I sure can't go to work nude, lol. Shaving my leg does make it feel a little better. Please help!"

07/12/2010: Francisca from Michelbach-le-bas, Alsace, France writes: "This is a question especially for Ted or Bill but also for anyone else who might have an answer. Like other people here I suffer from these unsightly spots (I am 53) especially on the legs and arms but they are a bit everywhere and they get bigger every year. The worst ones are on the legs being a Mediterranean type you see them quite a lot. As I said here I consulted a natural doctor in Portugal a little while ago and he gave me a liquid based on iodine. For the time being I don't see any difference. My question is based on the iodine: someone told me that in the old days she used to add a few drops of iodine to coconut oil to use on the beach because one seems to tan better with the iodine tincture. A few days later this doctor gives me the solution with iodine so I started wondering if adding a few drops to the coconut oil which I use anyway would maybe be a good idea. I would like your opinions before I try as I don't want to make a bad mistake. All doctors, natural or not, who have had a look at my spots say that it is not vitiligo. The natural ones tend to say that it is a fungus one catches from the sand."
Replies07/15/2010: Francisca from Michelbach-le-bas, Alsace, France replies: "I will post my question again as I think that neither Bill or Ted saw it! In the meanwhile I found out the name of this condition: Idiopathic guttate hypomelanosis. The white spots start on the legs, usually appear in older people, don't itch and spread to the arms and chest. It is a discoloration of the skin due to it being "tired" of the sun. My husband has it too but he is British so never had a lot of sun in his life and is very careful as well.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Idiopathic_guttate_hypomelanosis
My question: there isn't any real cure "A variety of therapeutic methods, including topical steroids, topical retinoids, dermabrasion, cryotherapy, and minigrafting, have been used for idiopathic guttate hypomelanosis with variable success". I visited a natural doctor in Portugal and he gave me an iodine solution because he thought that it was a fungus, now I know that it isn't but in the meanwhile someone told me that in the old days one used to add iodine to coconut oil to tan better. Could this be a good idea? I tried to add a few drops, first the solution was slightly yellow but the next day it was white again. My husband told me that it was because the iodine disappears in contact with the light. Many people suffer from this problem so some ideas would be welcome! "

05/28/2010: Sumana from Bangalore, India writes: "I know that presence of more melanin gives darker skin color/skin tone. So I just want to know how to lighten skin color. What foods/supplements to take internally which helps to reduce melanin in the body. Can Ted/anyone please help me regarding this."
Replies06/01/2010: Francisca from Michelbach-le-bas, Alsace, France replies: "Sorry I don't have an answer to your question but why would someone want to change the color of their skin? Just a question because I am puzzled. Being a bit dark skinned (Southern European) myself I can't think of any reason why I would want to be lighter!"
06/02/2010: Sumana from Bangalore, India replies: "Basically its not to change my skin color. This website seems to give solution for each and every problem which Modern Medicine and Latest treatments are not able to. With very simple solutions from grey hair to cancers they are really amazing. But I really wanted to know how to reduce melanin in your body which can help someone in places like India where skin color is given predominant importance when it comes to Beauty. After I come across this website I thought that there is a solution for most of the problems. So I want to know what foods/supplements to take internally which helps to reduce melanin in the body. Can Ted/anyone please help me regarding this."
06/03/2010: Stav from Haifa, Iisrael replies: "It's a pity that you want to change your skin colour. It's a pity the Indian society is so racist. It is unbelievable that it is actually a norm to treat people based on their skin colour. It is so outrageous that the Indian population accepts the cast separation.
Be proud of who you are, accept yourself for who and what you are."

03/25/2010: Melissa from East Providence, Rhode Island, Usa writes: "Hi everyone, i just discovered this website a couple days ago and have already learned alot. I did have a question though, hopefully someone can help me out. Green veins are visible through my skin all over my body( not varicous veins just regular green veins ), I think its because of thin skin, I just started noticing it within the last year or so. It has destroyed my self confidence and made me really self concsious. Does anyone know of any ways to naturally thicken skin so the veins are not so prominent. I would appreciate any feedback at all, i am becoming desperate. Thanks!"

03/20/2010: Linda from Dublin, Ireland writes: "i was wondering if there are any natural cures for red skin (facial). i dont think its the commom rosacea because there are no bumps or spots, just red cheeks and sometimes the cheeks burn up even just on one side. thanks"
Replies03/22/2010: Sheena from Glasgow, Scotland replies: "I'll second Tricia's comment. No bumps or spots, but randomly my face would look sunburned and sometimes my cheeks would really burn. Rosecea or not, it went away after using Ted's remedy."
03/23/2010: Tricia from Ireland replies: "I didn't have any lumps or bumps either. I did have extreme redness with flushing - as you said sometimes one side or the other and sometimes both. I treated it as rosacea successfully with Ted's remedy of borax and peroxide. My posts on it are on the rosacea page."
05/03/2010: Pat from Athens, Al, Usa replies: "There are 4 different types of rosacea and this sounds like one of them. check out www.rosacea.org and google rosacea you will find a lot of info. The remedies here work! But it is good to be informed as possible. I have the kind with the bumps, but it comes in many forms.

10/09/2009: Merryanne from Orange City, Florida, USA writes: "Need some advice about skin cracking open on my right forfinger and the skin in the middle of my thumb...
This is Merryanne in central Florida, I have been having a problem with my right hand, or really my right forefinger and the skin between the finger and thumb. I am doing everything I can,,,and some times it clears up for a few days,,then it starts cracking open, little 1/4 inch raw sting places,, I have applied vinegar, or acv and borax, and the last 3 weeks I have been using DMSO, and it has reoccured 2 times, now I am frustrated, I need some advise and Ideas from everyone out there in the EC field. Thank you from Merryanne"
Replies10/09/2009: Julie from Macon, Georgia replies: "Hi Merryanne, I am having the same issue as you and I am wondering when your splitting skin issue started? Mine started last week, literally overnight. I woke up with my skin cracked on 2 knuckles and then on one fingertip. I was wondering if the sudden cooler weather triggered it. I am trying liquid bandaid and it is slowly healing but not nearly as quickly as a regular wound would heal. I also have split skin issue in the exact same area that you describe, between the thumb and index finger. My doctor told me years ago it was a wart. It comes and goes every winter. Maybe the splitting skin issue on my knuckles is related and is a fungal infection. That or I am thinking some kind of vitamin deficiency. Let me know if you have any luck!"
10/09/2009: T from Baltimore, Md, USA replies: "I don't have an answer for your condition, but have two suggestions that might help at least a little while you figure out the cause. First, be sure to use a gentle, natural-based soap for hand washing. We usually use one from the famous "All-One" doctor. The other suggestion would be regular intake of fish oils. When I am consistent about taking those, my skin really reflects it. Oil pulling would probably help, too. My son's hands became horrifically dry last winter; they looked like reddish gloves, had a thick, rough texture and would crack. No amount or kind of lotion helped, but the soap change and fish oils helped him dramatically and finally cleared it up."
10/10/2009: Tricia from Ireland replies: "This split skin will happen between the toes when there is athletes foot present. So you should probobly treat it as a fungal infection. Between the toes there would also be signs of itchiness and tenderness because of lack of air, sweating and friction which would give clearer indications of an infection but these won't necesarily be present on the fingers.More frequent applications of any treatment will be required as even simple things like rubbing the hair will remove or reduce the remedies of choice whereas on the feet, shes and socks keep it in place.
I get split skin right on the corner of the tip of the nail and the area around it will harden. It also gets very sore. My treatment of choice is citricidal which is a combination of grapefruit seed oil and glycerin. The glycerin allows the gse to go under the fingernail and I also keep the treatment going for about a week longer once I believe it has cleared as the human eye cannot see a fungal infection in its beginning or last stages. At this stage it could only be seen under a microscope. Good luck."
10/12/2009: Merryanne from Orange City, Florida, USA replies: "I hope I have found the answer. I read the information about the fugus eating/infecting peoples skin from a scratch. So, I am using creams that have sulfur in them, the first one was one that was left from previous uses for the kids,,it kills spores,,,but you can get vetinarian ointments,,just so it has sulfur,,,I put the sporin cream on and the cracks stoped burining, I put a bandage over it, 4 hours later my skin looked a lot beter,,but I am still puting it on and trying to keepi t dry,,but being my reght had,,that is hard to do. Shall report in a few days. merryanne"
10/13/2009: Merryanne from Orange City, Florida, USA replies: "I have been applying a cream with sulfur in it and my skin is getting better every day, at this time it is not spletting any more, it is slowling healing. So i will continue to apply the cream. Merryanne"
12/16/2009: Gopher from Toowomba, Australia replies: "About 2 years ago The top of my big toe became very itchy and sore, I went to a skin specialist and the biopsy revealed "lichen Simplex". They told me there is no cure and that I would have to have quartisone injection to stop the itching. I came home and hit the internet to find out what I could about Lichen Simplex, and found that is was a fungus, my belief is thea if it is living then it is killable. I tried many things. Raw White King Bleach, Metho, Honey None of the things worked until I mixed Vegemite and Honey together in equal quantities. I put this on every day and one month later it was gone and has not returned. For people outside of Australia "Vegemite" is a black spread used usually on toast at breakfast.

RICE, EGG WHITES

[YEA] 10/11/2009: Lauren from Whitehorse, Yt writes: "There are two different treatments you can use to get beautiful glowing skin.
1.Use organic rice to clear your skin problems. All you do is add water to a cup of organic rice, let it soak for about 5-10 mins. Then use paper towel or a sponge of some sort to put it on your face. People who work with rice have very soft hands.
2. Egg whites. Use organic eggs, no pesticides are in them. Drain whites into a bowl, whip them till foamy. Then put on your face. Leave it on till it dries like a mask. Then wash it off. Leave on for about 5 mins (until crusty)
Other things you can do is take ACV, vitamin e and primerose oil. Good luck"
10/11/2009: Tee from Chicago, IL replies: "So do you use the water left from the rice the rice itself? Do you wash it off after a while or leave it? How often should it be done?"

ROSE WATER, COLLOIDAL SILVER

[YEA] 03/11/2008: Altaire from Lindsay, Canada writes: "I have never had such clear skin as when I lived in India ... I would buy a large bottle of pure Rose Water ... I would wash with that only. Clearest skin ever. Supermarkets do sell pure Rose Water (no glycerin) here in the spices aisles usually ... much cheaper than health food stores. Test different kinds as brands seem to have different strengths. Pour rose water in your hand and splash on face.
Also Super Silver (colloidal) is incredible for healing your face (inside and out) or any other part of you."

RYEGRASS
09/10/2010: Tom from Regina, Sk writes: "Hi! Hope someone reads this under the appropriate section. There is a skin cream newly developed by the same Aussie company Oralmat that makes the asthma & allergy drops, out since the late 1990's. Yet once again, it's almost completely unknown. It is not prescription, and looks like it's selling on a UK site, for example, for about L 8. 5 (about $12-$15) for a 50 g tube. There is also a 25g size tube. Since it's a very specific commercial lab extraction and blend of a very common plant (ryegrass), and not a homemade recipe, I can't give the links, but here's a Search result anyone can research:
Comment: I'm not sure I've ever seen any post here from anyone in Australia? That could be why this company's products are unknown still."

SALIVA

[YEA] 11/29/2011: Carlos from Barcelona, Spain writes: "Dear EarthClinic, I feel so proud to be the first sharing this wonderful remedy.
The story on how I discovered this remedy started last month. While at the chinese store I saw a product called bird's nest. I came home researched and its a wrinkle remedy used in Asia. Its suposed to reduce wrinkles and give porcelain skin. The science behind this I read it was birds make nest with their saliva that is collagen rich. Ok so I tried it and it worked. I was going to post that remedy here one of these days.
But yesterday I came across a message board where its said its an old grandmother tip to apply your own saliva in the mornings before eating anything. It said a 70 year old woman could look 50. I did research, very little info could be found in english but this seems to be a spanish/latin beauty tip. There were some testimonials in spanish websites. There is also a study conducted independently about Saliva in history, testimonials etc. Few things that I read that lead me to try it were:
1. Lesions in your mouth heal faster than any other part of your body
2.Dogs apply saliva soon as they are hit by a car
3. Cats keep their hair lustrous just by applying saliva
4. Jesus healed a blind man with saliva
I have tried urine therapy so I thought... what do I have to lose? I'm a natural remedy freak and I love the conecpt of "your own medicine" the human body is the perfect machine.
Ok so I cleaned my face, I rinsed my mouth with water til I felt it was cleaned. If you don't rinse your mouth before it will smell bad when it dries. BUT don't use toothpaste or any other cleaner or food. Use this only mornings since the rest of the day saliva becomes acidic due to digestion etc.
RESULTS: Inmediate relax, skin lightening. Dramatic wrinkle diminish. Soft smooth skin. NO oilness, no stinking, not heavy feel. Not dry skin. Just plain and beautiful porcelain skin.
I also felt a mood uplifting, not sure if it was the results that lead to it or the saliva itself. But I could feel a relaxing positive mood like a pineal gland boost (if you are into meditaiton you know what I mean)
I don't think I'm going to use it much cause I already have light skin. It's wonderful for around the eye area, lightens up your eyes.
Be prepare to have a politically correct excuse for your look cause results are dramatic and surely people will stare at you.
This kind of information have been put to secret by the cosmetic industry. I'm sure they don't allow any book to be published with these kind of info. All this traditional remedies would make the cosmetic industry dissapear for good.
If you are using lemon or any other aggressive lightening method, give this a try.
Good thing is it's not as embarrassing as urine therapy and results are remarkable. I can't say better, just different but tis more convenient and if you are looking for light skin this is your best bet."

Yes Saliva does heal cuts I learn that from my mum, I remember putting holes in my ears and she told me to put my saliva on it when I wake up in the morning before I wash out my mouth, and I did and it did heal fast and when ever I have a cut I always use my saliva. Now I am going to try it on my wrinkles. And I will keep you posted and tell you the results.. Urine it is also true, if I tell you that you can also drink it to heal your body from sickness you will say yuk, but it is true, he who experience it know it."

SEA SALT

[YEA] 12/18/2011: Carlos from Barcelona, Spain writes: "Hi everybody. One month ago I started my quest to rebuild my facial skin. After years and years cleaning only the surface of my skin I had developed enlarged pores. Since I have freckles I usually didn't noticed them and nobody did. But one day I started to wonder if it was just a natural thing and wondered if there was somethign I could do. Of course I knew of those famous brands pore minimizers but I wanted a natural and cheap alternative so I never tried those products.
I begin researching and there was a lot on information on how to unclog pores and black heads, but not that much on how to shrink pores. Most websites said it wasn't possible, just make them appear less noticeable. I started to use the Oil cleansing method. I thought I had a clean face and just large pores. But when I started rubbing coconut oil I had to rub it for hours. And still a lot of stuff was coming out. Then I started using sesame oil (cold pressed) and castor oil.
The best way for this I found was as folows:
First wet my face with warm hot water.
Dry with towel.
Apply castor oil massaging for a minute.
Once again wet with hot water so the oil gets in the pores.
Now dry with a towel, apply castor oil right after and rub with your fingers in circular motion alternating clock direction and reverse.
You will see all the nasty stuff coming out your nose. The stuff you can't actually see but its causing the enlarged clean pores you get to see.
You probably will have to do this for a few days/week, morning and night. Spending between 30min and 45min each time. You won't believe all the dirt coming out of your pores.
When you are done with cleaning your skin inside out you will find yourself with a clean face but large pores. Now it's the time for shrinking the pores. If you try to shrink the pores before doing the oil cleaning method you will only make it worse.
So the best things I've found for shrinking your clean large pores are avocado and the best one Sea Salt water.
Honestly I still can't believe how good this works. I just mix a glass of warm water and 2 tbsp of sea salt. I apply it to the skin, massage a little bit, wait 5min for it to dry and wash it away with warm water. It will give you redness at first, but some time later you will see your pores disappearing. I'm amazed that with only 1 aplication its working this good. So my advice for large pores is- Oil cleansing method using coconut, sesame or castor oil for a few days. Sea salt water for minimizing the clean pores. Give it a try and let me know how it goes."

[YEA] 11/20/2009: Ratgirldjh from Austin, Texas, USA writes: "organic cold pressed sesame oil... wow! i have begun using this oil for everything!!!
my skin loves it - i use it for moisturizing and before i get in the bath - and massage.
it is wonderful to massage your whole body (face included) and then scrub with handfuls of epsom salts!!! then just rinse off the epsom salts and massage the rest of the sesame oil into your skin!!!
i also use this as nose drops - and it really helps my allergies!!!
and of course i use it for oil pulling!
i have tried VCO, EVOO, etc. and organic cold pressed sesame oil is the best for me!!!
try it if you have dry or aging skin - i promise you will love it. and if the smell bothers you a few drops of lavender or other essential oil fixes this!!!
YAY!"

[YEA] 03/07/2007: Jea from Sacramento, CA writes: "I've enjoyed healthy formulas for 30 years. I even made a product with vinegar. Vinegar bleaches and shrinks pores and sold it to 10s of thousands. The other is shark cartilage oil. Shrinks skin growth about 50% and tightens skin also. Stay healthy and peaceful!"
Replies03/20/2007: Cynthia from Los Angeles, USA replies: "On 3/7/07 in Fountain of Youth Jea from Sacramento, CA wrote that shark cartilage oil shrinks skin growth. What I want to know is how do you take it internally? or rub in on your skin? Any response and info on this will be appreciated."
03/29/2007: Maria from Lemoore, USA replies: "I would also like to know where to obtain shark cartilage oil for skin shrinkage. I can only find shark liver oil. I think this is what Cynthia was referring to in her question. You can probably ingest it as it is rich in Vitamin A."
07/14/2008: Terry from London, Canada replies: "I believe Preperation H has been used for this, and it has this in it. However I do believe the original formula is only now sold in Canada"
07/14/2008: Michelle from Kenosha, WI replies: "Where do you buy Shark Cartiladge Oil?"
12/22/2010: Mesem from Toulon, France replies: "Some species of sharks are being hunted to extinction to satisfy the needs of self-obsessed people like you with no environmental conscience. Don't increase the demand for products from WILD animals, are you sure you wouldn't like a bit of rhinoceros horn thrown in? Try and see a little further than you nose. The sharks taken for cartilage are not eaten just wasted."
12/23/2010: Rob from Manhattan, Ny replies: "I will 2nd Mesems standpoint, (though with less rage).. There is no proven science behind Shark cartilage other than a silly marketing scheme that sharks don't get cancer. Don't waste your money on this stuff.. And yes, we are wiping our oceans of life from our own greed & ignorance."
