What could this be from? Four days ago she had slapped face but did not complain at all about any pain. When the toes are touched it is a little painful.

<description> Rigoha from London, Ontario, Canada writes: "I am needing some assistance with my skin disorder. In June of this year , my body took on a bacteria infection from a hot tub. I went to the western medicine doctor after trying to handle it naturally. I was given the sulpha drug , and after 5 days I took areaction to that drug. I went to infection specialist after , and much to my surprise he couldn't assist. After the last appointment I was FRUSTRATED!!! . I started acupuncture September 5th approx, I have been able to reduce the itchiness and hive like skin bumps, with some huge and some little changes.

This week I have come to Fort Myers, Florida, and after two days of being in the wonderful sun, my skin has once again exploded with the same bumps. I stayed completely out of the sun for one day, the skin calmed but still itchy and obviously noticable bumps still present. I am interested in hearing what the website has to say.. Any input is appreciated. I am not sure where to turn to next....

<description>[YEA] Drumjohnston from Charlottesville, Va Us writes: "I started to notice my skin feeling like it had been rubbed with sand paper. When I got up the next morning I had a blistery rash on my left side. It started to spread and got painful and very itchy. I later went to the doc and was prescribed meds. I had been continuously applying anti itch cream which didn't seem to work. I tried the ACV and it instantly worked!

<description>[YEA] Cindyg from Orange County, California, Usa writes: "I have a skin rash that has come and gone several times over the years. In the past, it's gotten so bad it covered my entire torso, with multiple large spots on my arms, legs and hands. It's extremely itchy, scaly and gross. I've tried every remedy you can think of -- but with such a large amount of my body covered, it was hard to consistently apply anything. I worked on my diet, going super low-carb, and spent ridiculous amounts of money going to a naturopath &amp; taking lots of supplements. It finally went away. Now, it's come back on my hands with a vengeance, and I can't afford the supplements.

I tried Tinactin, b/c I thought it was ringworm, but no-go. Vick's vaporub did nothing, and I tried ACV one time on a small spot on the back of my hand, and it made the rash spread and take over my whole hand and start creeping up my arm. After using neem oil, neem leaf extract, coconut oil, tea trea oil and fresh garlic, I still couldn't get rid of it!! I came back here and re-read all the ACV comments. At this point, my hands were so swollen from washing, scrubbing and itching I was having trouble typing -- and I write for a living.

ACV straight from the bottle, on a cotton ball, is what finally worked. It didn't make the rash spread this time; it dried all the tiny blisters out and the awful itching and pain have stopped. In the past, the itching has always gotten so bad the only way I could avoid clawing my skin off was to run my hands under hot water or blow a hot hair dryer on them. This kept me from making things worse :( Now, it's the second day of 3x/day ACV applications, and the healing is miraculous. My skin is still thick and "bubbly" and my fingers still look like sausages, but the skin is dry and flaking off and the little blisters are all popping and healing. The itching stopped for the most part after the first application. I'm definitely glad I tried ACV again. I was losing sleep every single night because my hands felt so itchy and painful.

<description> Shelby from Dorchester, Ontario, Canada writes: "My 22 yr old son just finished his degree in Engineering in June. He called me during finals in spring and thought he had strep throat except when he saw the doctor she said he didn't have any of the symptoms except the rash. She did a blood work on him and found his white blood cell count low. 3.3 - 3.4

Since then he has seen specialists and naturopaths. They think its his adrenals. Too much stress, lack of exercise and good nutrition. Since then he has a job. He is eating better and exercising. His white blood cell count is gradually getting better. However, he still gets this annoying sunburn like rash and it gets itchy. He lived in a house with 5 other males and they found mold in the basement bedroom just below his room. Could any of this have adverse or direct affect on him??? Any ideas???? He goes on and off different tinctures, St. Francis Deep Immune and Licorice for adrenals. Is it true it takes about a year for the adrenals to heal?

<description> Winstjv1 from South Lake Tahoe, California writes: "I have an extremely aggravated large rash identical on both arms (bicep down forearm, with small patches on my abdomen and chest) that won't go away. It started about 3 months ago when I was 3 days into my first colon cleanse. I have been told it may be toxins from the cleanse that got stuck in my lymph nodes. It flares up with small pustules periodically and gets really red and aggravated easily. I thought it might go away over time but its seeming to get worse.

As a last resort I tried cortisone cream and it responded to it temporarily but as soon as I stopped using it I came back worse than ever. I refuse to let a doctor put me on some nasty drugs that don't work. It feels like it's never going to get better.. If somebody knows how to get rid of this I would be eternally grateful. John

<description>[YEA] Bev G., Rn from Oscoda, Michigan writes: "Being a nurse I am often times discouraged with the whole medical model here in the US. I decided to try this websites' homeopathic remedy of turmeric. It was an absolute success story in 4 days use, 2 times/day!

My daughter has had a rash which began on her upper thighs and buttocks, flesh colored, no real pattern, very itchy, for several months. The scratching was driving her crazy at night! She has seen the doctor on 3 separate occasions, expensive prescriptions, oral steroids, cream steroids, antibiotics, all to no avail. The rash has spread to her stomach, arms, chest and scalp. We were at our wits end! This has been going on for about 6 months.

I had some turmeric in my spice cabinet and thought what the heck, it can't hurt. It absolutely healed the entire rash! We mixed 1 tsp in a small glass of water, about 3-4 ounces, twice a day. I was amazed, surprised and thankful for this remedy. It has affirmed my beliefs in homeopathic medicines.

After some investigation but without a real pathology result, I believe the skin infection is MRSA related. This decade has seen an enormous increase in staph aureus and I believe it infiltrated her skin in some way.

Anyway, THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART EARTH CLINIC!!

<description> Freakingdyinghere! from Woodstock, Il writes: "I don't know if these things are connected but I started out with many years of moccasin athlete's foot on both feet that I couldn't get to go away despite various OTC (eg cortisone or antifungal creams) and folk remedies at various times with only temporary results (eg apple cider vinegar or H2O2 and borax or magnesium oil or lavender oil or diluted clove oil).

Then for the last several months the area on top of my left forefoot got really bad and would itch insanely and then ooze clear liquid and the skin would thicken and then the cycle would repeat over and over. It was all red and bubbly skin. Then in the past two weeks I noticed the skin under my breasts had a rash and my body had a yeasty/bread dough smell. My arms and hands broke out with 100s of little itchy bumps (like an allergic rash). In days, it spread to various parts of my body including my scalp, my stomach, my thighs (front and especially back) and my forefeet. I can only sleep several hours and am awakened especially by a burning, itchy (suffocating) rash around my neck. The little bumps stay but kind of fade out after a couple of weeks. The itching attacks come randomly throughout the day. It is an insane itch at times I feel I am going to die! Two weeks into this rash, my skin would have a burning sensation. Right now, I itch here and there, sometimes insanely. In the beginning OTC Benadryl helped, mostly by knocking me out.

In the beginning dabbing milk of magnesia temporarily controlled the itch. Then I started to use clove oil diluted in extra virgin olive oil and this would temporarily control the itch. But now the skin kind of has a burning sensation when I try to use these folk remedies. When the scalp would get insanely itchy, mayonnaise on my head helped or other times apple cider vinegar then diluted borax then shampooed out and using a conditioner with some tea tree oil and lavender stopped the insane itching for days. I repeated when the itch came back and it stopped it again. My scalp doesn't itch too much now but the rest of the body does here and there, off and on, lightly to insanely.

My physician assistant isn't sure what is wrong with me. She thinks my left forefoot was severe athlete's foot and prescribed me Clotrimazole and Betamethasone Dipropionate USP, 1%/0, 5% and my left forefoot became almost healed. The skin is still a little itchy and a little bubbly but back to normal skin color and no more oozing or insane itching. I used it under my breasts and the skin is back to normal color but still a little rash remains. My PA didn't want me to use the cream all over my body and prescribed 2% Nizoral shampoo (antifungal) twice a week. I'm not sure its helping yet but I still itch time to time and sometimes bad. For my arms my PA thought I had Keratosis Pilaris and an allergic rash. She prescribed me a 12% Laclotion (lactic acid) to exfoliate and moisturize. This has kind of helped but has not cured. For the past week, I've also switched my diet to more whole foods from the farmers market and minimal processed foods. My PA won't refer me to a dermatologist or allergist right now.

What's going on me? Are these isolated or are all fungal related? Systemic fungal infection? How to heal from this once and for all! Suffered and still do so much, please help! Thank you so much for any help!

<description>[YEA] Don from Lakeland, Fl writes: "I have been combating an underarm rash for many years, especially during the sweltering humid summers here in Florida. I try to stay in the ac to avoid excessive sweating. During the winter I can control this rash with several under arm washings with a neutral soap and foot powder. This summer my rash got out of hand and it was about the size of an apple in my armpit with huge ridges and valleys. I was using various creams, ie. Hydrocortizone, zinc, but it wasn't helping.

After visiting this site I applied apple cider vinegar after washing my arm pits 3 times a day and let it stay for about 1/2 hour and then dry. It stung like hell for the first couple of days and took about a week to clear up, but the rash is about gone after two weeks of this treatment. I still put the Apple Cider Vinegar on two times a week followed by drying &amp; foot powder. I'm using a bottle with screw top and home-made dabber with handle that fits inside the bottle. This way I can use it daily with little prep by keeping a little Apple Cider Vinegar in the bottle at all times. My wife says I smell like Italian dressing, but who cares when your in your 70s. Not much else matters but feeling good! Thanks for your website. I use it often and recommend it to everyone I know.

<description> Cheryl from Leander, Texas, Usa writes: "This is driving me crazy. I'm female. Started getting a rash some time around Nov/Dec. Started with itchy flaky scalp. Felt like my skin on my head was tightening. Then I noticed a few reddish dots under my armpits and then a few in the center of my chest. Eventually spread to larger areas- spots or ovals ranging from 5 mm to 3-4 cm. Along my lower back, following my spine up my back and across upper back, under bra line and between breasts. It is in the creases of my ears, belly button. Also had along bikini area. I thought I'd try a yeast infection vaginal suppository and cream just to see if that was a trigger. No real difference. This may have been around the time I started to try a higher protein diet-which was difficult for me as I never eat red meat but started eating more chicken and greek yogurt. I typically prefer veggies, tofu, nuts legumes etc and try to be more alkaline. I drink lemon juice daily and/or vinegar water. May have been around the time I started a blood pressure medicine too.

So these rash spots get white flakes and raise up and are itchy. Nothing seemes to help- Went to dermatologist. He gave me cortisone creams, hair wash and peanut oil with steroid crean in it to wear with a cap several times per week at night- not much relief it got worse. I even tried rubbing vaginal yeast cream into a few spots on my head and thought it might have been slightly effective, he gave me RX for fluconazole anti fungal meds to take every 3rd day for a month. Great- my toenail fungus got better and have had it since 1997. But didn't help the rash. I stopped taking the blood pressure meds to see if it was a reaction. He finally put me on oral steroids 60 mg/ 40 mg/ 20 mg tapered dose for 3 weeks and the rash resolved. But 4 days into the first taper I noticed where the spots had been, 4 days in to the lowest dose the spots were really coming back, 4 days after no steroids, I am back to where I was and only getting worse. Had bloodwork that showed no signs of Lupus. Had biopsy that he said showed mostly eczema. I have been on a vacation recently so being out of my environment did not make a difference. I can send you a picture if that would help. Please help thank you.

Also those talking about ascorbic acid should be aware that it often comes from corn. The majority of corn in this country is genetically modified. <description>[YEA] Cocoandrico from Kingston, Ny, Usa writes: "The most common mistake with heat rash is the use of lotions or oils to relieve dryness. Heat rash results when sweat glands are clogged and this just makes things worse. Aloe gel straight from the plant is 96% water and allows the skin to breath while fighting bacterial infection and reducing pain. Applied every few hours, Aloe addresses the causes of irritation in the deeper layers of the skin while fighting bacteria at the surface, decreasing the duration and severity of the rash. For instructions to use the fresh plant at home, check out: www.aloeplant.info/beat-prickly-heat-with-aloe/

<description> Cathyw from Encino, Ca writes: "I developed a rash 2 months ago out of the blue. It's behind my right ear on the lower side of my scalp. I've seen two doctors that say my scratching just aggrivates it and I need to stop and it will stop on its own. Well that hasn't happened. They gave me Ketoconazole cream and Desonide cream (steriod cream) and told me to put regular soothing cream on the area as well. I am beside myself since nothing helps long term and it's driving me crazy.

<description> Nanalisa319 from Ramona, Ca, United States writes: "My friend's little girl is in the hospital with a rash from e. coli and the doctors do not know what to do? Any help out there.

I am always referring people to this website... It truly has been a lifesaver! I knew a young lady who had MRSA, took the antibiotics, healed up and then it came back two weeks later... She didn't want to go through the who lancing, packing with gauze, antibiotics thing again... We looked it up on Earthclinic, researched it and took the Tumeric 3x daily and it was gone in a week! It's been three years and she has never had a reoccurence. Thank you!
