FATHER UNABLE TO RECOVER ENERGY AFTER PROSTATE CANCER TREATMENT
08/27/2009: Sarah writes: "Hi Ted!! I usually email you from a different email address... have a question. I would be honored to send you a donation for answering it for me :-)
My father is about 76, has mostly had good health with following exceptions:
smoked a pipe all his life, some high blood pressure- only thing was always chronic sinus infections- my house was in the woods near large damp stone quarry but no one else in home had sinus probelms. He fought in Korean War and suffered extreme hearing loss from injury and noise. Had an annurism (brain? or in neck?) about 20 years ago caught in time and he recovered.
He was diagnosed with prostate cancer just over 2 years ago, i don't have all the details but he was treated with radiation and hormone therapy.. got rid of the cancer but has never been the same. He has no energy at all.. cannot even walk to the end of driveway to get the mail... feels generally just bad all the time without ewver really being "sick"... is kind of depressed. Gets tired very very easy..., etc. He mostly just has no energy and can't walk... gets out of breath and tired very very fast. Can you help me suggest some things to maybe help? Am about to get married and want him to make it to the wedding... very scary seems like he's going downhill very fast.
thanks again for all of your brilliant knowledge... your advice has changed my perspective and my life, ted. :-)"
09/23/2009: Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "Dear Sarah:
The lack of energy is a tricky one, but if possible to get a checkup on which hormones are low sometimes helped. However, the most problems I found is low DHEA, low magnesium, and a mitochrondria that's needs some sort of antioxidants. A damp environment with fungus can suck the energy down, plus fungus are known to have really high cancer causing substances called aflatoxins, found in peanuts, black mold fungus, etc. Therefore the following you should see energy picked up in two or three days:
1. Vitamin B complex B50 first week you will take it for only five days. Thereafter, it's taken only weekly.
2. A methylene blue 0.1% concentration 2 drops in the morning and optional 2 drops in the afternoon. It's an antioxidant for the mitochrondria, so the glutathione gets used up more quickly and hence some twice daily glutathione supplements help.
3. Vitamin C sodium ascorbate. This will help with antioxidant that's needed to support the mitochrondria, which is the energy cells for the body.
4. Avoid peanuts, get rid of fungus in the environment if it's still there. A formula to prepare is 10% ammonium chloride solution with 5% baking soda for your spray, and set it to fog setting and spray throughout the house and bedroom. The air will go from damp to nice dry atmosphere within a matter of minutes. You may have problems getting ammonium chloride, in which case ammonium carbonate, ammonium bicarbonate might be obtainable. Hydrogen peroxide 1% is harder to use as you have to dispose of the contents in the sprayer everytime you use it, and you need to obtain a hydrogen peroxide food grade, preferably.
5. It helps if ioderol or iodine supplements is taken only weekly. What it does is it causes the body's enzyme to be restored, allowing better utilization of food, which gives more energy. However, i much prefer 1/16 teaspoon of potassium iodide taken weekly ONLY for a couple of weeks. It helps normalize the bodys' pH.
6. Mixed 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt in one liter of drinking water. This restores many sodium imbalances.
7. Magnesium citrate 250 mg twice a day helps a lot.
8. A small neodymium magnet, to the necklace or pocket helps restore energy within a matter minutes. Seems to work best around chest and abdominal area.
9. Vitamin E 200 i.u. taken every two days or every day, if you don't have problems with high blood pressure.
10. DHEA, 25 mg. This helps a lot! Also reduces stress. The most important supplements that restore energy level will be the DHEA 25 mg, methylene blue 2 drops twice a day, vitamin B complex and magnesium citrate 250 mg x 2. Those are unavoidable. Also alkalization helps restore oxygen to the body, and hence, depending on your supplies, I prefer a baking soda 1/4 teaspoon plus potassium citrate 1/4 teaspoon in a cup of water twice a day. Green tea taken in the morning no sugar, no additives helps remove heavy metals (cadmium, iron, lead) and also has some contents that may help energy level too, but the results vary from person to person becuse of it's caffeine content. Men can't generally get rid of free metal iron out of the system and it will just damage the healthy cells, hence green tea is taken in the morning as green tea contains tannic acid which chelates out the free iron from the body. By doing this it removes the free radicals out of the body.
I am aware that getting some of the supplements are hard and I try to make it as simple as I can. But the ones I mentioned here are most important. Malic acid with baking soda or apple cider vinegar with baking soda also helps. The dose is 2 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar with 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of water or at least 1/2 glass of water, often taken in the morning.
Tedp.s. sorry taken long to answer emails, busy with the epidemics here!"

REMEDIES NEEDED FOR BPH
11/16/2008: Joe from Salem, Oregon, USA writes: "Question:
My wife and I have been using ACV 1 Tablespoon in a glass of water 1-2 times a day for about 3 weeks, now; originally to help both of us to get over colds, with the pleasant side effect that we have both lost a little bit of weight. It worked well enough that I am now wondering if there is a natural remedy or treatment I can use for BPH (enlarged prostate).
I have trouble sleeping through the night due to the need to get up and pee. But it is always a very small stream and takes a long time, and still usually does not drain my bladder completely. During the day, I avoid drinking tea at all, or more than a couple of ounces of water at any one time, because it makes me need to visit the lavatory too often.
Is there any natural remedy or treatment I can use?"

ENLARGED PROSTATE WITH CONCURRENT INFECTIONS
05/16/2008: JTurla from Manila, Philippines writes: "Dear Ted, I read all about your response to queries and I am very much impress. I think you are heaven sent considering the time you spent in sharing your knowledge to sick people like us all over the world. I am sixty five years old have been suffering from Enlarge Prostate with concurrent infections/concretions for more than 3 years now. In fact I would check my urine once a week just to find out plenty of pus. At this point I would take antibiotics and my urine would normalize for a while but after the course of antibiotic treatment my urine would go back to its cloudy appearance again with plenty of WBC (pus). I was advice by my doctor to undergo BPH surgery, but told him it would be the last resort. For almost a month now I've been searching the internet for a possible cure. Till I came across EARTH CLINIC. I would like to try Hydrogen Peroxide/Colloidal Silver and your other suggestions which I think would suite my illness. I would set aside apprehensions in swallowing the medicines, if given the profer advice as to safety and right dosage.Right now I am still ok except a little discomfort in urinating which is tolerable. Thank you and God Bless.JTurla of Manila, Philippines "

HIGH PSA FOR 30 YEAR OLD
03/31/2008: AV from Los Angeles, CA writes: "My 30 year old husband (we've only been married for 9 months) went in for an annual physical after having pain in his lower back for about 3 years.' This pain only happens around 3-4:00am in the morning after he has been laying down to sleep for some time. He must sit up to relieve the pain. After the physical, the doctor called us in to let us know his prostate chemical level, PSA was extremely high for his age, an 8, when it should be below a 2. The doctor referred us to a urologist who said this level was extremely uncommon in someone his age. He said it was probably a mistake. He gave my husband antibiotics for two weeks and retested him after a month. We received the results last week and his PSA was now 8.5. The first thing the doctor said was "I cannot explain this". He said in the 10 years of practice he has only seen this once in someone his age (biopsy was negative for that individual). He scheduled my husband for a biopsy of the prostate in 2 weeks from now. I am really scared it might be cancer. I have read earth clinic for sometime and am convinced that doctors do not have ALL the answers. I need to do something to help him. We are strong believers in God and try to have a positive attitude, but our human nature sometimes makes us think the worst. I read your Q&A that D sent in 2006 regarding her father's prostate cancer and elevated PSA levels. She talked about how your lemon-bicarbonate remedy and a little potassium bicarbonate helped lower his PSA? I could not find the actual remedy after reading several pages. I also read on earth clinic that garlic helped one man with prostate cancer. Again, we are not sure what it is, but I need to do something. I would appreciate if you would suggest something or let me know what remedy you gave D for her father.& I have also read about the benefits of ACV and hydrogen peroxide inhalation (one man on the site said it cured his prostate cancer). I am confused-PLEASE help. Again, my husband and I are just starting our lives together. During our 9 years of courtship we always talked about getting married and having several children. This time of waiting for results has been truly difficult and just thinking about the possibility of not having him around to fulfill our dreams is extremely hard.
Here is a little history on him:
Had abscess in liver at 25
Appendix removed at 26
Taken to emergency for fever and chills. Emergency doc said his prostate was a little enlarged and that was probably where the infection was at. Gave antibiotics and fever did not return-3 years ago
Lower back started hurting around this time (Went to follow-up with new doctor he had and the doctor laughed at him and said they violated him in the emergency by checking his prostate and that he was too young for prostate issues). Husband did not pursue the issue of this back hurting until his annual physical this last December 2007.
His father who is around 80 has had issues with enlarged prostate for several years.
Husband loves bread, he used to eat what I think is an excessive amount of sweat bread a day. Stopped in last 40 days. He drinks soda and other junk food-like most of us in the US, but has always been very slim. He seems a little mature for his age. Has like small fungal brown itchy patches on his back and neck. They go away an reappear with the application of cream.
Ted, Again, I know this is a lot of information, but I would really appreciate some guidance or help. Thank you in advance for considering our issues. I know God is pointing me in the right direction by asking you for guidance and assistance. Thank you"
Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "The case of D.'s father had a reduced PSA of the prostate, but his age was much higher. There was a reduction of PSA on the third week about 21 days. They were taking the two tablespoons of lemon juice with 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda twice a day if I remember properly. The whole PSA issue is related to metabolic acidosis often made worse by the hidden aspartame (which causes severe metabolic acidosis in the urine pH and damages the prostate).
For a quicker recovery, I believe that not just the lemon, but also the carbicarb remedy might be used, alternatively such as 1/4 teaspoon of sodium carbonate plus 1/4 teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate in 1/2 glass of water taken at least twice a day to three times a day.
They are generally taken about two weeks to regain sufficient alkalinity. Borax remedy may worked later on since I suspect some of the prostate are fungal in nature, which is usually about 1/4 teaspoon of borax in one liter of drinking water and I think can be taken later in the second or third week.
The PSA levels should rise whenever one takes antibiotics. I am surprised it didn't go higher, but this level I have seen before from taking artificial sweeteners found in sugar free products, gums, gatorade, diet coke and diet pepsi, for example. The other thing I found to raise PSA to dangerous level was the use of paint thinners, formaldehyde, gasoline, and other hydrocarbons that gets absorbed through the skin.
If the above case is a likelihood, than I think taking both alkalizing and vitamin B50 or b complex starting second or third week on B complex should neutralize most of the condition.
If there is any other lingering toxins, usually a 1/2 - 1 teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide in 2 glass of water (or 1 if too much) is taken once a day to neutralize the toxins. That's what I do, I don't know how other people does it.
Finally I have found flaxseed oil 250 mg taken every other day, plus granulated lecithin one tablespoon are important in detoxification and reduction of brain trauma. In some cases brain trauma can also induce a prostate problem too.
The above is just a quick fix remedy, at least for me. Sorry for the long wait, my computer got a series of virus attack and the latest ones were the malware and spyware which took weeks to get rid of."
