Frangipanni from Australia, Australia writes: "I need help because I have tried all other avenues and was wondering if you knew of anything to help me and be kind enough to share it with me. I am desperate. I am 35yr old female, had 2 boys, 9 and 7yrs. My first son was induced a few weeks early as I had a serious cases of pre eclampsia and lost so much blood they said I was too weak to have a transfusion and tried to use iron tablets. Needless to say I was extremely tired for the past 10 years. I breastfed both boys for 10 months and had a miscarriage inbetween them at 10 weeks, and was then curetted, so as there was alot happening with my body for those few years I didn't realise there was a problem, I thought it just came with all of that. When my second son was 5 I saw a doctor because finally I realised things should have stopped and settled by then! Anyway my problem is massive bleeding. While I have my period, it is sooo heavy I can't make it for longer than 5 mins with bleeding through 2 maternity pads. Also I bleed when it is not my period time and everytime I have sex with my husband I bleed, which doesn't clear up for about 3 days. Needless to say it causes issues in our marriage and I am so tired and grumpy all the time, even with my kids. The doctor I first saw ,sent me to a specialist and she said the cells just inside the uterus have grown just outside the uterus and are very delicate and bleed easily, hence the bleeding during sex. She then operated and burnt the cells out. She said it usually works but they can grow back. It didn't even last a month and came back alot worse so I gave up on her. We then moved very remotely and I saw another doctor as my periods were even heavier and I was still bleeding often and even worse during sex. She sent me to have an ultrasound and found nothing and didn't know what else to do. Last time I was on holidays I stumbled on an iridologist/naturopath which my husband urged me to try. She said to pinch my ankles/heels as often as I could - acupressure point I think, and put me on heme tablets and macca tablets. The day after I started pinching all these white cells came out and after a week I stopped bleeding, even during sex. I thought it was cured but it only lasted a month and has now returned. I'm sick of the doctors who can't find anything and just want to burn me out again. I also live very remotely in Australia, so don't have access to shops/physicians etc but I am able to buy most things online and get them posted. My other thing is everytime I have sex with my husband I can feel him hitting something, he can feel it to. I wonder if I also have a slight prolapse of the uterus and what do you do about it without more operations? During the month of sucess with the iridologist/ naturopath I couldn't feel this though, but like the bleeding it has now come back. I have alot of my energy back too since I have been on the heme and macca. Sorry this is so long.I'm not sure if all the above have contributed to the problem or whether my babies history has nothing to do with it? I would greatly appreciate any help /advice you have to offer,

Sincerely frangipanni"

[YEA] Happygirl from Galicia, Spain writes: "I just wanted to say that I have tried many things to cure my severe menstrual cramps. Recently I heard that drinking licorice tea helps with this debilitating problem. I tried it and I was surprised to find that it has been the most effective remedy I have found! It works better for me than naproxin or other "pain pills" and the many natural cures I have tried over the years. Licorice tincture could work just as well as a tea, although it is not a good idea to take licorice for more than a week straight because it can raise blood pressure. Maybe it is not for everyone, but it has worked wonders for me.

Blessings, hope, and healing for all!"

Arsaa from Sydney, Australia writes: "Hi there,

I am hoping someone will read this and help me/point me in the right direction. I have always had irregular periods and sometimes I didnt get one for about 6-7 months at a time, then I would get a heavy one, then I would have periods that went on for 3 weeks - the works. I am 34 and a have a 9 yo daughter.

So there was a time when my body actually followed a pattern of sorts. Due to various reasons, I gave up the Pill (I was always on the Pill after she was born).

This was two years ago and I have not had a period yet- though sometimes I get symptoms like very light spotting or achy body, or mood swings. But there is no real period at all.

I have been reading on EC (GREAT site) and dont know if I need a multivitamin or ACV or Mg or anything else. Basically I need my period back...any help, any pointers, please, please help. I would rather not go back on the pill again.

This is a great site...

[YEA] Ls from Toledo, Usa writes: "For profuse menstruation drink freely of a tea made with red raspberry leaves and cinnamon bark or cinnamon bark alone. This remedy will be found very effective for reducing pain and flow.

In a gel-capsule combine ground cinnamon and dried red raspberry leaves of equal volume; not by volume weight. Combine half the gel-cap with cinnamon and the other half with red raspberry. Gently packed the red raspberry leaves. The gel cap size is of your choice. I use size 00.

An easy way to fill a capsule is to place the ground or powdered material in a saucer or on a plate and scoop the two sections of the capsule together through the material; both halves will fill.

Fill one whole capsule with ground cinnamon and one whole capsule with dried ground red raspberry leaves. Use half of the cinnamon capsule and it place on one end of half the red raspberry capsule. Look at the capsule halves closely as one side is longer and a little bit bigger. This is so the two halves will combined to make one capsule.

Among its many benefits & effects, turmeric keeps the blood from clotting. Maybe this is why it helps with the menstrual cramps--the uterus doesn't have to work so hard when the blood is thinner? I didn't take the turmeric during my period as I was very busy & concerned that the turmeric might cause excessive bleeding, but next time I'm going to try taking it if I get cramps and see if that relieves the pain."

[YEA] Sanddollar from Billings, Mt writes: "Hi, I just wanted to write and say thank you for your site and the blackstrap molasses remedy. I am 25 years old and began taking blackstrap molasses after reading that it can help with gray hair and menstrual problems. I started taking the molasses a couple of months ago. I took 2 tablespoons a day of the ____ brand of unsulphured Blackstrap Molasses (the one with the yellow label). I looked at some other brands too but this one was the only one that said on the label that (besides having only half the calories) supplied 20% of the daily recommendation of calcium, iron, and vitamin A. I took it every day for a month, 2 tablespoons a day straight from the spoon. I don't like the taste much, but swallowing it quickly this way was easier for me than mixing it in with oatmeal or a drink and taking it slowly.

Ever since I started menstruating when I was fourteen, I have had extremely painful, long, heavy, clotty periods. After one month of taking the blackstrap molasses my period came and it was not clotty (and sorry if this is too much information, but I was happy that the blood was actually red instead of brown!), and only lasted 3 days! It was still quite painful at first, so I took some acetaminophen but after that first dose I didn't feel anything at all! Usually I am groggy and bloating and crampy for days.

Also, after this experience, I stopped taking it to see if that was really what made the difference. My next period came and it was terrible and lasted about a week and a half. So I started taking the molasses again about a week ago. This time I only took one tablespoon a day, but I also at this time started taking a couple of tablespoons of brewer's yeast ___ a day. I mix them in soup or sandwich spreads, or sprinkle a tablespoon on my popcorn at night. It tastes really good to me, actually. My period started this morning and I have not taken any pain medication for it! This is unbelievable to me because always before this, I have had to rush to take pain medication when my period starts so that it will start working before the pain gets really bad - the pain is so excruciating that I start shaking, get a fever, ache all over, and vomit. My back and stomach usually cramp up so badly that I am literally writhing. Anyway, this morning I woke up with some cramps from the period and I thought I'd better run to take something, but then I thought, maybe it won't be so bad this time, and sure enough, it has been a couple of hours and here I am typing this letter. I've still got a little bit of cramping, but if I want to I know I could go without the pain medication and function normally (and I think I will). I don't know if this is just from the molasses, or from adding the brewer's yeast this time, but I plan to keep up both remedies because I think the brewer's yeast is also clearing up my acne and eczema. Usually I break out in zits (and especially a big one or two on my chin and forhead) whenever I get my period, but this time my acne is actually going away instead. No new pimples whatsoever."

[YEA] Vi from Saskatoon, Canada writes: "PMS/Menstruation/Migraines:

I decided to try a new vitamin and supplement regime to get myself off of a very expensive migraine medication that I needed without fail on a monthly basis! However I've been surprised at the changes that went beyond just no migraines. I felt happy, no bloating, lots of energy, and once my period started, I didn't have the awful lower back pain (I actually cleaned the car and ran errands on the first day), and NO MIGRAINES! If you can believe it I didn't even need an Advil. I'm kind of amazed at this because I don't have a great diet, and don't get as much exercise as I should. Unfortunately it's hard to tell what exactly is doing the trick, but from research on this site and others I've started taking:
*SAMe - S-adenosylmethionine - 12 days before - noticeable improvement in mood
*Vitamin B6 - start 12 days before
*Vitamin B complex - daily
*probiotic - daily
* Vit E - daily
*Mg - daily
*Calcium - daily - at night - to help with sleep, and interferes with absorption of other vitamins
* 1 tbsp flax oil, split over 1.5 tsp am and pm or I feel nauseous
* Salmon oil - daily
* 2 tbs apple cider vinegar - one am and one pm - so far only the common brand but will try organic next time
* garlic tablets (improves circulation)

I've also been taking melatonin, starting 12 days before, but I suspect that it's actually making my sleep worse, though some sites say it can help with migraines.

[YEA] Nads from Toronto, Ontario writes: "I am very, very happy today because I prayed to God to help to find a cure to my promblem and he did. I suffer with fibriod and cyst since I was 25 years old. I had a myomectomy to remove them in 1997 and they grew back with a vengenace. I then had terrible periods with heavy clothing and excruciating pains. I had to be wearing pampers as pads were always causing my clothes to be messed up. I also had very irregular periods and infertility. After still having the same problem after my surgery I went to a Iredologist and Naturapathic doctor who gave me a 3 days fasting and cleansing along with her own medicines and instruction of what not to eat. My period regulated (I now had regular cycle which I never had since the age of 16)and the pain and heavy bleeding went away. Three years later I came off the vegetarian diet and two years after that the problem started again. I still was unable to conceive and worst my periods became very very irregular as the years progressed. In 2005 I saw my period and it never came again until middle 2006. Then once in 2007 then again three times April,May and June 2008 after I had used flaxseed oil recommed by my friend to simulate its arrival. I did not see my period after that and in 2009 I became very depress because the flaxseed oil was not working I then thought I was in menopause I then was led by God to this site and must say the ACV, Blackstrap Molasses and 2 Flaxseed oil tablet has now so far restore my period with no heavy bleeding nor pain. I hardly feel the bulky fibriods nor the symptoms of the fibriods or cyst. I however still have not gotten pregnant yet. I am still hoping and praying this will happen soon.

Can anyone tell me of something that can assist me in getting pregnant after having myomectomy surgery. Thank you all very much."

Mineral supplements! I had severe toxemia in the 90's and afterwards found the website where Dr.Tom Brewer discovered that putting a woman on the "milk diet" completely cured toxemia! I rushed to check and my prenatal pills had 0% Calcium! What the heck? So over the years & after copious amounts of research I have found that the lack of minerals and other simple nutritional deficiencies seem to lead to all manner of disease! So I began experimenting with different supplements and finally after exhaustive research found a great mix and since I have been taking it, I do not get sick anymore as often as I used to and the horrific painful periods ceased!

An explanation of how/why we get sick!
Advanced reading: www.chimachine4u.com/AA.html and http://biomedx.com/microscopes/rrintro/rr4.html explains what the Asian people have discovered over centuries of nutritional advancement. They eat the right way; lots of fruits and veg and good teas, little meat as compared to how we eat; lots of meats, few if any fruit and veg, coffee instead of teas!

Very heavy, clots, bleeding every 21 days for 5/7 days with MAJOR cramps!
I found this website and decided to give it a try! I started the morning my period started. I took a tablespoon that morning and again that evening. Continued that each day. To my surprise, within 3 days..my period STOPPED! That is the first time in 3 years that I didn't have a long, heavy, crampy period! I am a believer!! Now if I can just get my period back to a 28 day cycle..I will be TRHILLED!!

THANK YOU!!!"
