Natural Cures for Labyrinthitis

Labyrinthitis is generally the result of a viral or bacterial infection that causes inflammation of the inner ear, the center of our vestibular system. This inflammation can disrupt our sense of balance and create a feeling of vertigo along with other symptoms such as tinnitus or even hearing loss.

Labyrinthitis occurs in a deep part of the inner ear that is called the labyrinth for its circuitous design. The vestibular nerve is located here, and as it becomes inflamed the signals sent to the brain to indicate proper balance become confused. The resulting loss of balance can last for months, even after the initial shock or infection has past.

Natural Remedies for Treatment of Labyrinthitis: It is not easy to address ailments of the inner ear, and the organ does not repair itself well if at all. However, the brain will learn to compensate so that you can find your balance again. Natural cures for the various symptoms such as nausea and anxiety are your best bet, in addition to finding an effective remedy to treat the initial infection.
