[YEA]  04/15/2010: Wendy Jo from Bellevue, Wa writes: "Alleluia for lemon juice & olive oil! I have endured the passage of kidney stones since I was in my 20's. I am now almost 50 and just recently suffered another kidney stone attack. After using the usual pain meds and massive amounts of water, I was still in tremendous pain, nauseated, weary, and still no stone after 6 days. I chatted with my naturopath and he recommended I start taking magnesium supplements. I did this and it definitely helped ease the pain level so that I could get by on over-the-counter pain meds. But still no stone. I then found this website and the many testimonials for the lemon juice & olive oil remedy. I thought I would give it a try - far better than going through another surgery. I used 3 oz of lemon juice & 1 oz of olive oil (just couldn't quite get myself to do 2 full ounces). Followed that with at least 32 oz of water in about 10 minutes. I did 2 oz of lemon juice and 1 oz of olive oil followed by 32 oz of water again the next day - twice. Went to bed without any pain, woke up in the morning and passed the largest, most jagged stone I've ever passed. What a relief. Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to tell their story - you gave me the hope & gumption to try something new. I hope my story can do the same for someone else."

05/29/2010: Robert Henry from Ten Mile, Tn Usa replies: "MHILLQT,, There are at least a jullion testimonies on this site concerning this procedure. Either accept what Earth Clinic folks say or go to your doctor. This procedure is not original with this site. It has been used for thousands of years per Hulda Clark."
05/30/2010: Jay from Toronto, Ont, Canada replies: "to Mhillqt from New York, Ny. I have no direct experience with a particularly large stone but I have had a couple of painfull kidney stone attacks over the years.

I found that drinking about 2 litres of pure unsweetened apple juice a day for 2 consecutive days alkylized my system enough to shrink the stone size so that they could pass painlessly through my system. I could then use whatever method I wanted to flush my kidneys and be back to normal.

This has proven effective on three different occasions when I let my diet drift to too much animal protein and fat for a prolonged period.

05/30/2010: Mhillqt from New York, Ny replies: "thanks Robert....i was just questioning if this works for LARGE stones?

If so.....should i do 2 oz lemon juice, 2 oz of olive oil and 8 oz of water....if so...how often? Also, how do you know your stone is moving...you can feel it? Is it painful when it moves? OR do i do 8oz lemon juice and 32 oz of water...if so how often? thanks"
06/02/2010: Mhillqt from New York, Ny replies: "BUT if its a large 1.2 CM stone......isnt it possible that it will break down but not enough and get stuck.......is this method ok for large stones or are you asking for more trouble by breaking the stone down but not small enough...ie so it gets stuck? I have URO appt tomorrow....so need to decide.....btw...i drank 8oz lemon juice/2oz of olive oil and 32 oz of water on sunday........now feel more pulsation in abdominal.....more pain.......so i didnt continue due to fear that i would make it worse..........advice please?"
06/08/2010: Jen from Fort Lauderdale, Fl replies: "After reading the reviews I am excited to read about the lemon juice and olive oil remedy however I have the same concerns as Mhillqt. I am a petite lady, only 5'0" with a 12mm kidney stone! I am also afraid that if I start using the remedy that it may pass, reaking havoc to my ureter. Has anyone used this to pass large stones? Any answers would be helpful since I have already had lithotripsy and scheduled to do it again in 2 weeks since the stones did not pass the first time."

[YEA]  04/06/2010: Agyarko from Iowa City, Iowa, Usa writes: "I was taken to the emergency room for pain in the groin. After a few tests including a CT scan, I was diagnosed with kidney stones. I had a 4mm stone (in my kidney) and I was given medication to help it pass and to help control the pain. All this happened on a Tuesday. By Friday morning, I had been drinking over 90 fluid ounces of water daily, pain had been on and off (in groin and lower back), there was no obvious improvement and I had given up on the prescribed medications (meds). During this time, I had been reading about kidney stones and low and behold, stumbled upon earthclinic.com on Saturday evening (had not taken any of the meds since Friday morning). I saw all the 'yeas' for the olive oil and lemon juice concoction and decided to give it a try. And I'm glad I did.

I measured exactly 2 fluid ounces of extra virgin olive oil and 2 fluid ounces of freshly squeezed lemon juice, mixed it up, drank it (tasted great, the aftertaste is especially delicious - maybe it's just me) and drank 32 FL OZ of water over the next 3 minutes or so. In about 60 minutes the pain subsided. I later went to bed and slept all night with no pain. Sunday afternoon, I took the same mixture, and drank 40 FL OZ of water in about 3 minutes. Sunday evening whiles in bed it seemed like something was moving in the general region. I could feel it so I got out of bed, drank some more water and went back to bed (only second night of pain-free sleep since Tuesday). Monday morning, I took the same mixture followed by 32 FL OZ of water. By about 12:30pm, during one of the multiple urges to urinate, I could tell something was stuck somewhere. With almost no pain, the stone passed and I was absolutely overjoyed!! I am grateful for the mixture of olive oil and lemon juice, and the over 30 FL OZ strong backing of water!! And for Earth Clinic for relieving me of my agonizing pain. Thank you all!! I should also add that I drank about 100 FL OZ of water through out each day and I am in my 20's.

To summarize: a 4mm stone was in my kidney and it passed in less than 48 hours (Saturday evening to Monday afternoon) of drinking a teaspoon-stirred mixture of 2 FL OZ of olive oil and 2 FL OZ of lemon juice (3 times) and immediately following, about 30 FL OZ of water (3 times). I am in my 20's and very happy today. A big thank you to Earth Clinic and to everyone who shared their stories!!!"

[YEA]  04/04/2010: Holly from Portland, Or, Usa writes: "KIDNEY STONES: 2 oz lemon juice, 2 oz olive oil, 1-2 x a day for 3 days until stone passed. (Don't do more than this or you might get sick/nauseous. Absolutely no pain. AMAZING!! CURED!! I don't need to add to the hundreds already here, but here's the story. My husband is a physician, we KNEW what the pain was. It was 3 days of intense pain for my husband. The only thing that helped was breathing exercises. My husband was in tears, he felt intense nausea, and we finally broke down and went to the ER to get something for the pain b/c he was missing his first day of work in a new job. Even after getting morphine, he was crumpled on the floor in screaming pain. my mother called to tell about Lemon juice, we asked the Dr. and of course he had no idea about it, so we left with a $5,000 bill...for nothing. Went straight to the store, with my husband crying in the car (he NEVER cries), got the lemons, and there was no more pain and it passed 3 days later. Crazy. His was about 3 mm, calcium stone. THANK YOU EARTH CLINIC!"

Of cranberry juice to the mixture, just to be able to swallow it. Next day I had strange "worm-like" movement sensations from kidney all the way down to bladder with no pain. Hurray! I think I will drink the concoction weekly to ward off new formations as I must take calcium supplements for my osteoporosis. THANK YOU EARTH CLINIC! For saving me the pain and also thousands of dollars in doctor and hospital bills!!!"

[YEA]  03/14/2010: Mike T. from San Diego, Ca writes: "WOW - you people on this website are amazing. I really think this had to be a bunch of pookey dust (i.e., lemon juice and olive oil). I've had the weirdest symptoms for 2 weeks (first week was a weird combination of fever and chills every night followed by a second week of great discomfort and finally absolute pain last night down somewhere in my urinary tract.). At first I thought may be I was having a problem with my prostate and then for last several days I figured I was having a bad uirnary tract infection). It's now 4:30 a.m. (as I write) and at 3 a.m. I finally work up (again with the pain) and thought, maybe I'm passing a stone or something. So I found this website and thought, 'what the heck i'll give this crazy potion a try' before heading off to the hospital later today. So I squeezed out a lemon through in a bunch of olive oil, chugged it, and then chugged about 4 large glasses of water behind it(thinking these people on the website must be nuts, those that say something'll happen in 30 minutes) and honest to god, not even 20 minutes later, I had to pee and watched carefully and out plunked a 'thing' with my pee, looked to me like an old filling from a tooth but a little smaller, so I guess this is a stone, eh? I never would've believed this nonsense would work. All I can say is thanks-a-billion for this website. These past 2 weeks have been a real pain (honestly I was thinking I had something really bad and that it probably wasn't something as simple as a stone). I'm 50 years old - so i guess I probably should've figured it out sooner, but what can I say this was my first one, so the thought didn't occur to me. You guys are brilliant."

[YEA]  02/20/2010: Aaron from Knoxville, Tn writes: "I've experienced the joy of kidney stone attacks for 12 years off and on, (33 yr male). Monday I spent the night in ER with a return visit Wednesday. Friday the urologist scheduled me for surgery with enthusiasm, I might add. Disgusted at the thought of the invasive procedure and the $$$$, I searched the web for any sign of hope. Friday I found your site. At 12pm I took a shot of the "tonic" 3oz olive oil, 3oz lemon juice. Not bad taste. Followed it with 1 liter of water over the next 5-10 minutes. Before bed (about 9pm) I took another shot, 2oz. olive oil, 2oz. lemon juice - followed by about 1 liter of water over next 10 minutes. I was still having back pain and discomfort to a slightly lesser degree but it was tolerable unlike the previous 4-5 consecutive days. Next morning (9am) I took my third shot 2oz. olive oil, 2oz lemon juice, followed by lots of water throughout the morning. Frequenting the bathroom often over the course of the morning, I noticed my "flow" was increasing in pressure and ease. HAPPY to announce, at 12:30pm I birthed my largest stone to date: a 4 mil jagged, ugly dude. However I did it with the slightest of discomfort. I will return to the urologist on Monday bearing the bad news for him; no car payment from my surgery. Thank You for the help, I will return to your site in the future and spread the word. -Aaron-"

2 weeks ago, I had more discomfort - mostly in my bladder and urinating caused my penis to burn. Again I used the Lemon/Oil mix and finally pissed out a 9 1/2 mm stone..... my biggest rock to date!!!

I've noticed that the size of my stones have been increasing in size, probably due to a high intake of sugary foods and coffee.

This remedy definately works..... have been a regular user of this remedy for a couple of years now."
03/04/2010: Marie from Stamford, Ct replies: "I have many stones in both kidneys (largest is 13mm) and I'm trying to avoid Lithotripsy (have bad reactions to anesthesia). I don't know if I can get myself to swallow 2oz of olive oil. I've found 1000mg olive oil gel caps, do you think if I swallow them with the lemon juice, it will work the same way?"
03/15/2010: Greg from Alameda, California replies: "I've used fish oil gels as a substitute for olive oil and have had mixed results with it. The best way to drink the olive oil without gagging - is to mix 1 ounce with 2 ounces of chilled (cold) lemon juice. This gives the concoction a "lemon meringue" flavor."
[YEA]  05/02/2010: Sandy from Evans, Co replies: "I suddenly had deep pink-colored urine, no pain. Went to dr. and after testing, was told it was either kidney or gall stones. I had no insurance, but knew my last round of having kidney stones removed had cost plenty. Went surfing and found this wonderful website. I tried the lemon juice and olive oil treatments (2oz of ea plus @ 1/4 cup water twice a day, but also increased magnesium from 400 mg to 800 and the next day the urine was clear again. Repeated the doses for 2 more days. That has been 5 weeks ago, and I have been symptom-free ever since. Just read that B vits and l-lysine can help. I already take 1200 mg of calcium. (It is a shortage of calcium that causes these, not too much as most doctors have been taught.)"

[YEA]  02/17/2010: Mike K from Selkirk, Ny writes: "I am scheduled for surgery Mar 18. Have a 6mm stone in left ureter and 11mm stone in right kidney. About a week ago mixed up 2oz olive oil/2oz lemon juice and drank it followed by lots of water. Not too bad going down, but I have a strong stomach. But nothing happened. Repeated the concoction 3 days ago. Last night noticeable pain, but not anything like what caused my ER visit a month ago. Took a pain pill and got to sleep. Came back home from xcntry skiing today and went to bathroom for a BM. Got up and spotted a urine colored "smutz" about the size of a silver dollar on the side of the bowl with consistency similar to mucus. I don't recall sensation of urination but there it was. I'm 65 year male and I've never seen anything like it. Now, 2 hours later, all achiness and sensation of pressure on my left side is gone. I'm convinced something about those two stones has changed for the better. When I get my next xray I'll post an update."

With great hope I began taking 2 oz fresh-squeezed organic lemon juice mixed with 2 oz organic extra virgin olive oil whisked together (like drinking salad dressing -- not bad) followed by a cup of warm water twice a day for the past five days and nothing. My 3 mm stone remained in a spot giving me flank pain. Finally yesterday the stone seemed to move two inches but it has not passed."

02/10/2010: Cindy from San Diego, Ca replies: "Hi Bill,

Sorry you are having kidney stone pain. This happened a few years ago to a friend and she was in so much pain, in desperation she searched online and found a "secret" that would dissolve stones. She paid the 30 dollars to find out the secret and then felt really stupid. But she did what it said and hasn't had any pain since. The directions? In the morning drink a whole 2 liter bottle of regular cola within two hours (she did a glass every 15 min.) then as soon as you finish the last of it eat 8 oz of pureed asparagus. She bought a can, added some seasoning and warmed it up before she ate it. She said when she urinated it smelled really strong and the directions said the stone would pass within hours. She said she must have passed the stone because she was in extreme pain when she started the cure and by the end of the day the pain was gone and she hasn't had any since. Obviously the chemistry of the urine changes and dissolves the stone. Not sure what's happening, but it seemed to work."

[YEA]  02/11/2010: Bill from Stone Ridge, Ny replies: "Well, I seem to be a yea after all. I feel foolish, having posted myself as a nay, but its now been 48 hours since I've had any pain. I've peeing through a strainer and have not passed the stone but perhaps it has completely dissolved. A urologist I just saw last week recommended drinking 3 oz of lemon juice in 30 oz of water daily as a stone preventative."

EC: Rating has been changed - thanks for the update!

02/12/2010: Bill from Stone Ridge, Ny replies: "I forgot to thank you, Cindy, for your kind response to my posting. I am still pain free and have stopped trying to catch the stone. However, if my pain returns I will definitely down a two-liter bottle of coke and then take the purree of asparagus (ugh). So, thanks."
03/30/2010: Radka from Portland, Or replies: "In my opinion, the reason your stone moved only a bit (without passing) in 5 days on using this "treatment" is because you only followed it with the cup of water. In all other posts of positive results, they all drank close to 1L= 32oz of water. Lemon juice is acid and breaks down the calcium stone (80% of kidney stones are made of calcium) and plenty water is used to flush it out fast. But you could as well be the 20% case where this remedy might not work."

[YEA]  01/13/2010: Michael from Davie, Florida writes: "Yea
1/21/02 Kidney Stone Attack #2

My first kidney stone was in 5/97. I went to the ER, received medication for pain and after the pain subsided went home. About 3 days later the stone passed with no further problems.

My second Kidney stone was in 1/02 and about 18 hours after the pain began passed a dark brown irregular calculus measuring about 3x2mm.

My third kidney stone incident began on 1/4/10 with the familiar discomfort in my groin and lower back. I was driven home and took some leftover pain med.

Three days later, I finally got to the doctors. I didn't take any pain med and the pain began while in the waiting room and intensified while I waited in the exam room for the PA, ceasing a few minutes before she entered. She sent me to nearby hospital for a CT scan. Their report confirmed a 5mm stone at the opening where the urethra empties into the bladder, a common bottleneck for stones. The Urologist, who was able to see me right away, explained that 5mm is about the limit for stones to pass without assistance and there were two procedures available, extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy and ureteroscopy, where they insert a fiber optic probe through the urethra and break up and grab the stone in a basket. He said that the stone's position made the blasting not a good percentage option. I decided to give it about a week and set a followup for the next Wednesday. He gave me some Flomax and a strainer and told me to drink a lot of water.

The next few days the pain came and went. Monday, I called the Urologist to set up the operation as soon as possible. It turned out that I needed clearance and some additional tests. The earliest the procedure could be scheduled was Thursday, Jan 14. When I got home, I jogged & walked 2 miles in the park and jumped off of a picnic table several times, trying to dislodge the stone from where it was stuck and move it into my bladder. It might have worked because after that there was no more pain - even the back soreness disappeared.

Tuesday, back to the doctor for an EKG, more blood work, and a chest X-ray. I passed the time in the waiting room looking up kidney stones on the internet on my smart phone. I found an interesting site that promised an effective home remedy of a common drink plus a vegetable, for $40. Researching it at home later, I found it was reported as a scam and that the "secret" was 6 cans of Coke and pureed asparagus. Thankfully, I kept researching alternatives and found this web site that listed hundreds of testimonials for a simple mixture of olive oil and lemon juice.

I went to the store and bought some lemon juice - not from concentrate - in a yellow squeeze bottle. At 3:30 pm I mixed 2 oz of each in a salad cruet (how appropriate) and shook it up really well, then downed it, followed by 12 oz water. The taste wasn't as bad as some reported and other than some oily belches, there were no side effects. It might even have had a beneficial effect of loosening my bowels that were tight from the pain meds. But still no stone.

Later, I rode my horse with my wife and did a lot of sitting trot to keep working on jarring down the stone. We watched a movie until 10:30pm, at which time I made a second cocktail, about 2.5 oz each of oil and juice this time and downed it. I got up to urinate around midnight and heard a distinct clink as the stone passed and hit the bottom of the jar. I collected it with the strainer and it looked different from my previous stones, which were light brown and very jagged. This one measures about 3 x 4mm and is darker, sort of rounded. It's possible the potion partially dissolved it making it rounder and smoother - if so, that's a good thing because there was no pain or any sensation at all when it passed - nine days from the initial attack and about 9 hours after my first drink, 1 1/2 hours after the second.

I'm very grateful to the people who put up this web site. It is truly a godsend. I brought the stone to the Urologist today, to have analyzed, and, obviously, called off the procedure - saving thousands of dollars and unknown discomfort!

I'm convinced that the olive oil and lemon juice helped the stone pass, thus averting unwanted and unnecessary surgery. The urologist thought the jumping did more than the mixture, but admitted that lemon juice is helpful in preventing stones. I plan on taking the mixture periodically to help inhibit kidney stones, cause there's no way I'm going to refrain from all the foods in the big list my urologist gave me. In the future, if I experience kidney stone pain I will take the potion from the outset, combined with some serious jumping. Pain medication and flomax are also helpful."

[SIDE EFFECTS]  12/16/2009: Shannon from Ottawa, On writes: "I had an ultrasound done about a month ago, that showed a kidney stone in each kidney, around 4mm. They were not causing any pain. I then went home to research kidney stones as i didn't know much about them, and found myself terrified to find that they are associated with horrible pain, worse than childbirth!

I came across this website and decided to give it a try. What I did was squeeze some fresh lemon juice (approx. 8 ounces) and i drank it over about an hours time. I also had a couple spoonfuls of Olive Oil with my dinner. I drank about 1 liter of water in the couple hours following this.

Felt nothing at first, then about 4 hours later got bad stomach cramping and had diarrhea. Was also nauseous. Cramping remained for about an hour. Then had urge to pee and went. Didn't see anything.

No idea if this did anything for my stones...but i guess it didn't agree with my body lol. Will update to say if it worked or not!"

Called my primary-sent me to ER. IV killed pain, CT scan said 4MM stone. Go home and drink, with percocet for pain. Drank Mon night, all day Tues, probably 2 gallons, all morning Wed. no pain, no stone passed. Found this site and said what the hell. Mixed and drank the Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Lemon Juice, 2oz,each at 2:30 Pm. Kept drinking water all evening and through the night, whenever I had to get up to urinate. Got up Thurs. 5:15 am, urinated (what else) had breakfast, still no pain no stone. About 6:30 am had urge to urinate, after having gone 15 mins. earlier, out pops stone, completely painlessly!! I have no idea if it was the mix or the 3 days of water, but whatever it was it worked. I am probably the most skeptical person you could find re: home remedies, but as someone else said, give it a try, what do you have to lose (except a stone!)"

After reading the proposed cures I decided to get her to try olive oil and lemon, as it was the treatment that had the most positive answers. I mixed her same parts olive oil, any brand, and lemon, just following the general instructions. Lots of water after the drink.

The results were amazing, she passed a gelatinlike thing which we suppose was the stone and got instant relief.

After 5 days she started to look green when she saw the olive oil, but kept taking it 2x a week for a month. We have no proper way of thanking all of you, the result was a resounding succes. Thanks"

[YEA]  11/11/2009: John from Fairhaven, Ma writes: "Another satisfied customer here, 50 y.o. male. I woke up yesterday morning with excruciating pain centered on the lower right flank of my back. I was also not able to urinate as I normally would and the pressure kept building up. After googling a few pages I was able to find the Earth Clinic site and with over two hundred Yeas for the Olive Oil & Lemon Juice treatment I decided to give it a try. I mixed Two Ounces of Extra Virgin Oil with Two Ounces of store brand Lemon Juice concentrate which I was able to keep down. I also took two over the counter Naproxen Sodium pain killers and drank two eight ounce glasses of water.

Within a half of and hour the pain had subsided somewhat although I still couldn't urinate. Throughout the course of the day I took several Hot showers focusing the hot water on my right rear flank. Additionally, I would jump up and down and shake it all about vigorously to dislodge the stone which eventually allowed me to urinate a bit. As the day progressed I would continue to drink more water (some with Lemon Juice added) with the result being that the pressure would build up, the pain would increase and I would return to the hot shower and jump about until I was able to relive myself.

At about 6 PM I drank another 2 Ounces of Olive Oil and 2 ounces of Lemon juice as I was convinced the treatment was working. Approximately a half hour later I threw up. By 8 PM my ability to urinate (almost normally) returned to my great relief and the pain had virtually disappeared. At bedtime I took another two OTC Naproxen Sodium pills just to be sure and over the course of the night I woke up several times to urinate, each time more freely than the last. I woke up this morning pain free and have taken one more shot of the Olive Oil/Lemon Juice mixture just to make sure I'm all cleared out.

This treatment absolutely worked for me and I am very thankful to have found out about it. THANK YOU!!"

[YEA]  10/30/2009: Kim from Bethlehem, Ga writes: "I used to get kidney stones all the time but by age 50 I was tired of going to hospital being sent home medicated for pain and paying a small fortune for the "treatment". then I learned about squeezing 4 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice and mixing it with an equal amount of Extra Virgin Olive Oil. This is to be swallowed all at once and followed by a large glass of water. Usually within 24 hours, the stones will come out on their own while urinating, sometimes broken down into a little pile of what looks like sand. Take this concoction at the first signs of (what is for many of us) the all too familiar lower back pain."

[NAY]  10/27/2009: Jeffrey from San Jose, Ca writes: "I took the Olive Oil/Lemon Juice treatment for my kidney stone. I wish that I could say that it has given me any degree of relief at all. It has not. I tried it for 3 days hoping for any diminishment in the pain as an indicator that it was starting to work. I blended 2 ozs of each three times a day. Easy to do. Fairly easy to swallow. Certainly cheap enough. But there was not a drop in pain at all. Maybe the size of my stone(1.5 cms) was also factor in the failure of this remedy. I don't think that I saw a single stone that was as large. Still after 3 days you would think that there would be something of a change after all the positive testimonials that I read last week. I have ordered an online product as a last ditch remedy before I submit to ESWL."

10/29/2009: Miguel from Carson, California replies: "i had a UTI about a month ago and took antibiotics for it. the discomfort went away after a few days. about four days later i began to feel discomfort in my lower right abdomen. i have no health insurance so i did some reading online and came to the conclusion that i developed a kidney infection due to the UTI not clearing up completely. i began taking antibiotics for this and it seemed to start to clear up. then last night i began to get short, stabbing pains in the upper right area of my groin. i did more reading and learned that this may be a sign that a kidney stone could be working its way down the urethra. that the sharp pain was the urethra pulsating as the stone moved down...causing the sharp pains. the pains happened about every three to five minutes and didnt last more than a few seconds. i did the "jump and bump" method to try and help it move along. after almost an hour the pains stopped..so im guessing the stone is in the bladder now.

my question is..can this really be a kidney stone since i've had no other sympton such as pain in the back or chills or other symptoms associated with kidney stone passing? since im not even sure if this is a stone or not..i'm having doubts about getting started on the lemon and olive oil method.

one thing i've noticed is that almost everyone here were already in pain when they turned to the lemon and olive oil method. has anyone started using this before any pain set in? if so were you able to pass the stone without any pain at all?

if i do have stones they are more than likely struvite stones since all this happened soon after i had a UTI. will the lemon and olive oil method work on these?"
11/10/2009: Kathleen from Lynbrook, Ny, USA replies: "Your story mimics absolutely mimics mine. Had all the typical UTI symptoms. Doctor diagnosed an infection in office but days later, called that the lab found blood in urine with no bacteria. I was advised to see a gyno. No problem there. Problem solved a week later.....kidney stones."

I see you have multiple yeas; don't know if you even need another, but here goes. My husband was in severe pain (flank pain) I had him try olive oil/lemon juice two tablespoons each, followed by glass of water. Well, thirty minutes later he vomited, and I was the bad guy for sure...then pain went completely away..he passed a stone w/in one day. I am an RN, and when I tried to tell one of my patients about this, I got a puzzled/smirky look from the Dr. that was listening, but I believe in it!

Thanks,
Melinda"

I found this site a little late but foward this to friends. thankyou all.."

[YEA]  09/29/2009: Junk from Louisville, Ky writes: "A huge "YEA" to this remedy,

2 oz olive oil and 2 oz. lemon juice for Kidney Stones/Pain.

If you are reading this try it, it works like a charm.

I had kidney pain/stones and in severe pain for 3 weeks and was desperate, severe pain for three weeks.

Although I completely doubted what the simple and safe olive oil and lemon juice mix could possibly have to do with your kidneys, with the many positive ratings I decided to try it.

I drank about 1.5 oz. olive oil and 2 oz. of fresh lemon juice mixed, very important to "mix" so it wont taste too bad.

Results: I felt a little nausea about an hour later.

Then a strange creepy feeling in my gut about 3 hrs later, it felt like "Alien" in my kidneys, I even felt something moving in my good kidney on the other side.

Then I had strange repeated urges to piss.

I didn't piss a stone that I know of, but my chronic 3 weeks of severe kidney pain disappeared ! I could barely get out of bed the day before, and the next mourning was pain free !

Since I took only one dose and had "miraculous" results, I will definitely repeat in a day or two to finish the job.

If you have pain anywhere near Kidneys, TRY THIS FIRST.

It WORKS MAGIC ON KIDNEY STONES !!!

It is basically salad dressing, how it has such an effect on your kidneys I don't know, but trust me it works !

Beats the heck out of paying the ER for painkillers and a surgery!"

[BETTER BUT WITH SIDE EFFECTS]  09/23/2009: Brenda from Livermore, Ca writes: "How many times should I take the lemon juice and EVOO for the kidney stone issue?

Been taking the EVOO and the lemon juice (2 oz of each mixed together). How many times per day seemed to work for people? My stone was a left renal stone lodged way up in kidney. Was scheduled to have surgery last thursday, however, got really sick so couldn't do the surgery. Would much rather pass it on my own. I took the concoction Saturday (morning and night) then Sunday (morning and night) and Monday three times and Tuesday Morning only. I have small bits of gravel (very very tiny) coming out in strainer, and on Monday the pain was severe. Haven't had pain up until this point, so maybe the stone is rollin on down and out? Any advice how long I need to take it? Supposedly I have at least a 7MM stone. Doctor resisted my theory it was stone (I only had bleeding when I exercised, no pain until this past Monday), and sent me for all kinds of cancer tests. As LAST RESORT, he sent me for CT scan and was surprised to find kidney stone. Please advise how long I need to take the stuff. It's been cleaning out I think my gallbladder too, so for the last two days been in bed and bathroom only. Kind of frustrating when one works for a living."
