<description>[YEA] Edgeworth from Freshwater, New South Wales writes: "Yea! This is the second time I\'ve had Hemorrhoids, I\'m male and 46 and read there are a lot of people over 45 who suffer. I had a great deal of discomfort around the anus but no bleeding. First I tried what worked last time: zinc sulfate monohydrate suppositories from the chemist. No dice. Tried for a week.
Then I tried the ACV bath suggestion here. Only once but no dice.

Lastly, I tried Rutin. Was difficult to find but worth it. I couldn\'t get it on its own but 400mg of Rutin mixed with 500mg Quercetin, 125Mg Bromelain and 50Mg Ascorbic Acid. Also took it with vitamin B6 as suggested.
Worked within 2 days - complete discomfort gone. Two weeks later now and no reoccurrence.
Thanks Earth Clinic! This is the fourth brilliant discovery I\'ve made here for me, my family and friends.

<description>[YEA] April from Seattle, Wa writes: "The posts of other peoples successes have helped me remedy the internal/external hemorroids and fissures I have been plagued with for the last 10 months. So I thought I would pass on the things that worked in my trials and errors. I went to the doctor and a surgeon who each prescribed things that helped, but only temporarily. Surgery is not a viable option for me at this time, not to mention scarey. I\'ve tried a couple of different products my boyfriend found online without noticeable improvement. It\'s been a long arduous process, I hope my experiences can offer assistance as I wouldn\'t wish this problem on anyone!

The following are things that worked for me:

Pure Psyllium powder once a day for regularity.

Coconut oil healed the fissures within a few days (used as a suppository) and has a wonderfully cooling sensation. It was an immediate relief! It soothes irritated skin surrounding the area as well. I find it wise to use a tiny bit externally since that area needs to stay dry. No problems with fissures since!

Bending over while on the stool. This is wonderful and highly recommended. Thank you person who posted that. This is the way to go! :) Makes so much sense. I still insert vaseline with a q-tip prior to going for good measure.

Using witch hazel to clean the area. Witch hazel wipes. Corn starch powder to stay dry.

My naturalpath gave me a food allergy test. Relatively inexpensive. By cutting the foods out of my diet that I\'m allergic to my body seems to process foods better. A good digestive enzyme to help with the things it doesn\'t.

The surgeon prescribed a stool softener (I just saw it as an over the counter product in the drug store). I use this if my normal bowel movement doesn\'t happen to prevent tears. This has eased my mind when I\'m worried about something I ate tearing me up. Like the other day when I had a burger that was like a brick in my stomach.

Cayenne Pepper with honey and lemon for swelling have had immediate impact on the stubborn external hemorroids that seemed like they would never go away despite everything I did. I love this drink and just wish I wasn\'t so afraid to try it before. I thought the cayenne pepper would burn, but only my throat if I add too much. About 1/8th of a teaspoon in a large mug of warm water. It is wonderful! I take it morning and night.

I have used an incredible amount of Ibuprofen over the last several months for the pain and to ease the discomfort. Recently I found that Antihistamine used for allergies makes the itching go away! Common over the counter allergy product. Oh my goodness what a wonderful thing!

Kegels helped get the external ones back where they belong. Sitz baths when I needed them. Glycerin suppositories when things get stuck and over the counter ointments.

It\'s been a long arduous process to completely remedy my problem. I sit all day at work (on a rolled up towel) and am just now starting to feel normal with the Benadryl and cayenne tea for those stubborn external ones. I\'d like to be able to wear jeans without setbacks which hopefully will happen soon. All the best!

<title>Thrombosed Hemorrhoid Treatment</title>
<link>http://www.earthclinic.com/Redirect.php?pageLink=/CURES/hemorrhoids.html&amp;name=THT_120018</link>
<guid isPermaLink="false">/CURES/hemorrhoids.rss3</guid>

<description>[YEA] Marsh from Denver, Co, Usa writes: "Thrombosed Vein caused by Ruptured Artery

I just experienced a thrombosed hemorrhoid that was the size of my husband\'s thumb caused by a ruptured artery which was repaired about 4\"-5\" up the canal and externally. Couldn\'t sit or barely stand due to the pressure. Saw physician 4/3 and was in surgery before I could blink. Ten days later, the agony remains. This is my personal experience and I hope none of you have to go through this. If you do, I sincerely hope some of my suggestions help.

1) Food - Eat fresh fruits/veggies and easy to digest protein (protein will help the healing process faster), organic chicken broth. Puree to help ease the passage. This is something you\'ll be grateful for during your first few BMs. Chew extremely well if you don\'t have blender.

2) Drink - Organic prune juice, water with lemon, lime or slices of cucumber, camomille tea, green tea - anything to eliminiate the boredom of water. Because of the drugs, I\'ve added Keifer, probiotics and Milk Thistle Tincture to help support good bacteria and kidneys.

3) Elimination Suggestions - A different site posted a suggestion from someone who said it was easier to eliminate in the shower. After 3 days of agony and cinching up on the toilet during sitzing (the warm water relaxes things and the urge to eliminate sneaks up quickly), I swallowed my pride, armed myself with plastic bags from the grocery store (the veggies bags don\'t rip like the larger bags), a roll of paper towels, scrub brush, Dawn dish soap and Clorox. The first couple times I had to bend over my husband - the pressure leaning onto him helped add pressure to move things and to keep me from falling over from the pain. I also used an empty babywipe container to catch the majority of elimination. It wasn\'t pleasant but the relief outweighed the pain. A handheld shower is so well worth it. Having the water right there (cup with your other hand if necessary) will relax your bum and after will make clean up simple.

4) Cleaning/Showering/Drying - Keep several dry towels at hand because you\'ll need a dry towel very time you shower which is the only way I\'ve found the burn to dissipate or consequently it burns like lemon juice on a fresh cut. Only dab with tp - anything more will cause greater irritation. Even though my doc said medicated Tucks were good, the nurses in the OR said to avoid them. Use wipes that haven\'t parabens, phthalages, etc. I used warm, wet paper towels just for dabbing during the 15 step journey to the shower that seemed more like a 5 mile hike.

http://safemama.com/cheatsheets/safer-baby-wipes/

Use Gentle soaps rather than the harsh types found in the grocery aisle. http://www.livestrong.com/article/110721-soaps-allergy-sensitive-people/

5)- Drugs - I was prescribed Diladad and Valium. The Diladad caused my chest and arms to itch, my stomach, back and legs broke out with something like bug bites and caused excruciating headaches. Finally, my sister insisted on something else and Percocet was prescribed. All cause constipation so drink, drink, drink. The doctor recommended milk of magnesia and metamuscil. Neither did much. On the 5th day, urination was becoming a challenge which can become another problem. My doc was in surgury all day so we phoned the ER who said they\'d administer an enema to get things moving. I called a couple pharmacists and they too shivered at the suggestion of that experience. Both recommended magnesium citrate. I drank about 2/3 of a bottle which seemed to be a little too much too much for my size (petite female, 100#) and it worked. The doc doesn\'t want diarrhea so perhaps 1/4 bottle may have been better for my size. The point is don\'t over do it and definitely ask your physician BEFORE surgery. Whatever stool softener is used, drink more water than the bottle suggests.

Insist on a prescription of Litocain. It helps numb the bum to make sitting, standing and walking more tolerable, especially when eliminating. I\'m so exhaused of the pain from the burn that I glob on castor oil on the open suture to keep things as comfy as possible. After showering I use 98% organic aloe vera gel with comfry and chamomille for healing. When it dries, I apply the litocaine on a cottonball and leave it there.

http://voices.yahoo.com/how-magnesium-citrate-relieves-constipation-470635.html?cat=71

6) Keep the cool bags of peas or corn, etc on hand to calm the area.

Lastly, to make sure the shower drain is clean, I pour a half box of baking soda down the drain, followed by 2 cups of vinegar. Let it set for 5-10 minutes then pour 2 stock pots of boiling water down the drain. Other household disinfectants follow.

Here\'s wishing anyone who has this surgery the best.

<description>[YEA] Sick Of Hems from Singapore writes: "Hi all. Hems, how annoying. I endured an internal one that would present itself during bowel movements with depressing regularity. Such an annoying and bothersome condition because you\'re daily reminded about it. Acv, coconut oil, garlic orally and suppository, more fibre, more water, more fruit, more exercise, molasses, cayenne you name it. I tried all of the things I read about here and sure I\'m probably more healthy because of it but over a couple of years I have not seen any improvement.... Until about a week ago I started taking Tumeric. I cannot say for sure that it is the singular factor but the correlation of significant improvement with this condition and taking tumeric seems too close to ignore. I say improvement only because I\'m still finding it hard to believe that the condition may actually be fixed as I approach with trepidation, every passing motion. People are here because, I guess like me, they prefer natural remedies, don\'t want surgery and aren\'t having luck with chemist bought stuff. If you\'ve got hems you\'ve probably done a stack of research and realise that why we get them is still open to conjecture. Some say candida, some say not enough fibre, straining on the toilet etc, in some way I guess you could link them all up as digestive. I\'m not a doctor and the stuff I\'m reading about Tumeric/Curcurmin talks about how it\'s anti inflammatory , antic bacterial and a natural liver detoxifier as well as a bunch of other ways its good for you. Anyway I just thought I\'d add my experience to the list.

I take a couple of 500mg Tumeric/curcumin tablets with meals every day and after a few days I was surprised by an improvement ( I wasnt taking it explicitly for hemms ) and then after around a week things seem to have at least 90 percent improved, I say 90 percent, maybe its a 100 it\'s just that after a couple of years with it it\'s difficult to know what a \"normal\" bowel movement without a hemm appearing feels like. Anyway if you find yourself in a similar position to me you might want to give Tumeric/curcumin a try. The last thing I wanted to do was subject myself to surgery because of it. It\'s an annoying condition, like many I suppose, because its depressing and a constant annoyance but hopefully this is the factor that helped me and with many luck you too. Good luck and be patient finding something that will work.

<description>[YEA] Jude from Stanford, Ct writes: "I have been suffering from hemorrhoids for the past few months and trust me its something I wouldn\'t wish even on my worst enemy. Initially, I tried using preparation-H wipes and gel but it gave me only temporary relief and no reduction in the size. So I tried this procedure that worked slowly but surely. First, make a concoction of olive oil, coconut oil, honey, brown butter(Indian ghee) a tablespoon of each. Then, as and when you want to use, grate a little bit of garlic in maybe half a teaspoon of the above mixture and a large pinch of turmeric. Apply this mixture on your hem. Trust me this really works. It will definitely sting at first no doubt but it works. Make sure the garlic is freshly grated every time you apply the mixture. Later on, once the \'roids have decreased in size, you can try a mixture of just plain ghee and honey and the important thing here is pushing them back in to prevent them from hardening up and forming a clot. Also, try to increase fiber slowly in your diet as a sudden increase in fiber will cause gas, bloating and either constipation or diarrhea which will cause a flare up again. Try to avoid garlic and just apply the above mentioned mixture with a small pinch turmeric if you have bleeding \'roids as some people are super sensitive to garlic.

<title>Black Fungus Vegetable</title>

<description>[YEA] Justtryingtohelp from Singapore writes: "One of the best kept secrets of Chinese remedy for hemorrhoids is Black Fungus which is a vegetable used in Chinese dishes. Here\'s some Google translated passages from one Chinese article:

\"Black Fungus promotes bowel movement, improves anal fistula, blood in the stool, hemorrhoids and varicose veins.\"

Furthermore:

\"Black fungus containing cellulose, protein, calcium, phosphorus, iron, carotene, vitamin B, niacin, lecithin, cephalin and other ingredients, has the efficacy of hemostasis, cools the blood. It can clear the garbage inside the blood vessels and carcinogenic substances, the prevention of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases; dilute colon carcinogen, shorten the time through the intestinal tract, the prevention of colorectal cancer; regulate blood sugar, helps prevent diabetes; reduce blood cholesterol, helps prevent hypertension, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases; increase satiety, help control weight and stay in shape; prevent constipation, prevention and treatment of hemorrhoids, and beauty, remove facial pigmentation, and over the years has been the food people crave.\"

To conveniently eat it on a daily basis without having to cook it into a dish, I soak the large type of black fungus in water for a few hours. Then I blend and cook it until it boils. Let it boils for at least 15 to 20 minutes. Then let it cool.

When cooled keep in the frig and scoop some to eat once or several times daily.

I also experimented eating the jelly mixed with 1 small glass of red wine, 1 teaspoon of white oak bark powder and hot water. I found this recipe has an immediate effect on hemorrhoidal inflammation and discomfort.

In my opinion based on my experience, black fungus can be called a very safe super food with wide ranging and powerful benefits.

However as with all foods, some people can be allergic to black fungus like having diarrhea after eating it. To make sure try a small amount first to see if you are allergic.

The second night I soaked a cotton ball in ACV and kept that applied to the area while sleeping. It relieved the itching but didn\'t reduce the size. The third day I tried Arnica Gel. Its a gel I had purchased after facial surgery to reduce pain, swelling and bruising. I have been applying that externally 3 times a day for the last 2 days, one hemoroid is completely gone and the other is almost gone. The active ingredient in the gel is 7% Arnica Montana. There is also an Arnica Montana supplement I took for my facial surgery to reduce swelling and bruising. I havent tried that for hemoroids, just mentioning it since its available in more forms than just topical.

<description>[YEA] Gaetano from St. Louis, Missouri, Us writes: "The 6\" step to allow squatting on the toilet is what seems to work best for me. I\'m 19 and my first hemorrhoid appeared two months ago: small protrusion from the anus that retracted within days. The itchiness and minor swelling persisted though. Sitting was uncomfortable and pretty much throughout the whole day my bum was itchy or irritated. I never saw a proper doctor, but from talking to my dad (an ob/gyn) determined it was probably a small internal one. I tried the garlic suppositories (5 days), Candida Cleanse diet (5 days only eating vegetables; didn\'t do the detox drinks or other supplements), Apple Cider Vinegar, Witch Hazel Wipes, and generic hemorrhoid cream, but nothing seamed to work effectively (though the garlic suppositories did make bowel movements much easier with no straining).

I started using the 6 inch step (two shoeboxes for my tall toilet) and the irritation and itching have declined significantly. Now only a few times per day do I even take notice of any irritation and it is minor and goes away if I don\'t think about it.

It is more natural for us to squat when defecating. It loosens the muscle in the colon that controls continence and allows an open path for stool with less straining. Non-western countries where squatting is the norm have very low rates of hemorrhoids (compared to America where more than half the population will have them at some point).

Of course a healthy diet and exercise have been shown (more empirically than squatting) to increase ease of bowel movements and prevention of hemorrhoids, but the 6\" step is probably the most efficient way of alleviating hemorrhoids.

Google \'squatty potty\' or \'slate don\'t just sit there\' for some informational videos/articles on the subject.

The only problem is that my anus remained with some small deformation. Consequently this makes it hard to wipe it clean after evacuation. So far I have controlled this to some extend including a fiber powder supplement on every meal. If anyone knows how to cure this remaining problem please email me omniversed at hotmail. Thanks

I came back hoping I might help some one too.. My hemorrhoid was the size of a small potato a week ago. I was sent for emergency surgery by my doctors which terrified me.. So I start searching the net for any help I could get and I came across this site... I started the remedy rite away after reading a few comments.. Been a week now must say it burn for the first 10-15 mins but it works ppl.. Give ACV a try first before going to surgery.. I apply it with aloe gel mix together because it\'s too strong for me pure.. You can apply other ointment after too to help with the pain /burning which I did.. Long story short ACV works for hemorrhoids it can save you the horror of surgery and everyday annoying pain in the ass!! For the first time I can sit with out twisting, whining I have been in bed most of the time this passed week.. I drink 2 tbs in a glass of water too.

Then I tried pretty much everything else similar, nothing worked at all, and the itch became 24x7, very very annoying. Then, the miracle. Got to this page, thought \"don\'t lose anything\", tried the Apple Cider Vinegar with cotton buds, burned like hell but after 5-10 minutes peace again. I\'m on the 4th day, doing this only in the mornings after the daily shower, and the itch is GONE. Of course the Apple Cider Vinegar burns a bit but it\'s a completely different thing, very tolerable unlike before. After reading the threads, I got a paper towel and soaked the end of it and spread the cheeks while s-l-o-w-l-y moving the towel toward the bloody spot. I thought it would be so painful that I would kick a hole in the ceiling, but quite the opposite. It was a mild discomfort mainly from the roid, but I was able to release and let the cheeks hold it in place put on underware and went to bed.

Almost immediate relief, better in the morning. The only blood was at the tip of the paper towel. The size of the hole was about that of an eraser on a number 2 pencil. I have always used the \"meta\" fiber but I\'d miss a day or 3 here and there so I would find myself straining a bit on occasion. But I\'ve been using Apple Cider Vinegar for two days (the same way sleeping through the nite, shower in the morn and no more blood or pain and it is starting to get smaller in size already. I am starting the minced garlic on a spoon with water chase a time or two daily.

I will update... But again thanks sooooo much, I thought it was time to cash in my chips! Who knew something so simple could help and so quick!!!

I have an external one and applying ACV on it directly has worked in the past, but not this past week. The burn from the cut is so intense after applying the ACV, I was shaking in pain. I\'m still ingesting it (8oz water to 2 tsp of acv), because I\'m a firm believer of the ACV.

I\'m going on 6 days and the rawness of the cut is still fresh. I want to try ACV again, but so scared the pain will set me back another few days of healing time. I waddle, I can\'t sit and I\'m either lying down or standing most of the time. I found the sitz bath in cold water for 2 minutes is sufficient. I also switched from warm methods like using a cold pack, wrapped in new plastic food wrap for hygience purposes and applying directly to the roid for 2 minutes max.

I\'m still in pain (fresh cut), but it\'s tolerable since it\'s shrunk a tiny bit since using all my methods above.

<description>[YEA] Brainbuster from Indianapolis, Indiana writes: "I\'m a 31 year old white male, 135 lbs. , 5\'7\". I had a hemorrhoid for about 2 years. Tried several creams. Really like wiping with Desitin diaper rash cream (the generic).

I came to this site and saw all the reviews, over a hundred I think, for ACV for hemorrhoids. After reading the reviews, I rushed to the grocery store in the middle of the night, bought some ACV for about $6, and cotton balls and bandaids. I took a bath with about a cup of ACV in it, stayed in it for at least half an hour.

Then I did what I really think cured it...I soaked a cotton ball in ACV, then taped it to my hemorrhoid with a bandaid or two. Then I put boxers on, sat on it and soon went to bed (leaving it on).

The next day, I checked my roid, and I swore it was half the size (it had been the size of a kidney bean for 2 yrs).

I still wasn\'t sure, but I felt optimistic. It might\'ve been my imagination, but in 2 years you get pretty familiar with the size of your hemorrhoid.

Anyway, I continued, doing it no more than twice a day, maybe 3 times (I doubt it would go away faster if the applications were more frequent.. Maybe I only needed to do it once). So within 3 or 4 days, the hemmorhoid was completely gone. Then I stopped doing the cottonball thing.

That was in April of 2012, and now it\'s December 2012. So 7 months with no return of the hemorrhoid.

This has honestly changed an entire outlook in my mind. If I suffered for 2 years with no help from conventional medicine, then I find the wisdom in a crowd on the internet, and heal myself in a few days with $6, with vinegar! , what else am I missing!! ??

So after this cure, I sought youtube videos on hemorrhoids, people trying to peddle their hemorrhoid products, and I wrote comments on the videos spreading the word. \"All you need is apple cider vinegar, it\'ll be gone a few days. Don\'t spend your money! \"

I think white vinegar would probably work too. Most people have vinegar already in their house.

To be honest, after this cure, my trust in conventional medicine, in doctors, has taken a nose-dive. How many people suffer from hemorrhoids, go to their doctors, and their clumsy doctors don\'t even know about this?

<description>[YEA] Red from Houston, Tx writes: "I had bleeding hemorrhoids and I would like to share what helped me. First I feel I must explain that I believe mine came from taking Chromium Picolinate. I took it for about a week and started bleeding. Not just from hemorrhoids but from my nose and I was very tired all the time. Then I discovered that CP can cause anemia in some people. I immediately stopped taking it. It took about a week for the bleeding to stop. What I used during this time is Witch Hazel, Aloe Vera Gel and a 6 inch block. Every time I had a bowel movement I put my feet on a 6 inch block (which really helps move things along! ). Afterwards, I would use baby wipes first, then clean the area well with Witch Hazel. Then I would apply the aloe vera gel. I do have hemorrhoids, I had them before this, but this time I bled every single time I had a BM. These things definitely helped shrink my hemorrhoids and lessened the irritation greatly.

<description>[YEA] Helper from Somewhere Soft, Ca writes: "I was trying so many things to cure myself topically, until I finally got wise and tried this. All of the internet hemorrhoid cures being sold out there have ginger and cayenne. I decided to try making my own.

Mix equal parts ginger and cayenne, and then throw in a dash of turmeric. Fill large gel caps you can get a a health store or online.

I take two pills in the morning, and two at night. You can take one with lunch too.

Make sure to drink a glass or two of water when you take them. This prevents burning your stomach and also drinking lots of water helps soften your stool, not to mention it makes everything in your body work better.

I try to cook with ginger and turmeric whenever possible. I\'m not so good with spicy, but if I was, I would cook with cayenne too.

The swelling of the hemorrhoids should start to go away as soon as a day, as long as a week. I think it took two days for me to feel results. I\'ve been taking them a month and I\'m completely pain free for weeks now. I can use dry toilet paper (though I never recomend it) and I couldn\'t even touch myself down there last month without intense pain. I also take magnesium to help keep stool soft since fiber and water weren\'t cutting it.

This mix also helps with other vascular issues like varicose veins, and joint inflamation.

Good luck!

<description> Cat from Tauranga, New Zealand writes: "I think that\'s what they\'re called. I have had various haemorrhoids come up in the past 25 years or so since having my first child but now there are various skin tags left around the anal area which rarely ever bother me as I have a fairly good, clean, healthy diet. But I just feel that if there\'s some way of getting rid of them I. E. Making them shrink to almost nothing then I\'d be in heaven! I don\'t know why I\'m embarrassed about them, it\'s only my husband who\'d see them occasionally but I don\'t even want to mention them. HELP!

<description> Aaronm from Los Angeles, Ca, USA writes: "Due to dehydration and overdoing lifting and carrying heavy items, I had a hemorrhoid incident where one side of my anus became just swollen painful tissue. After 3 months of agony and trying just about every hemorrhoid remedy I could find, I finally went to a doctor. What I thought was an internal hemorrhoid that extended outside my anus, turned out to be a one inch long skin tag. I had outpatient surgery to remove the skin tag and got my life back. I still need to heal the hemorrhoids, but at least I can walk, move, and have a BM without incapacitating pain. My suggestion is to see a doctor to at least know for sure what your issue is.

<description>[YEA] Crew Chief from Silsbee, Texas writes: "Thought I had stomach ulcer. Knawing terrible pain. First I stopped drinking coffee and any caffeine for about a week which was difficult but helped a lot. At the same time I took aloe vera gel caps, garlic caps, fish oil caps, gse, and occasionally very small pieces of fresh garlic clove swallowed whole with meals morning and evening. I ate Campbells chicken noodle, and vegetable soups, rasin bran with very little milk, eggs, and plenty of power aide and water. Followed this for about two weeks and now feel normal. Started feeling some relief within a few days. Now I can drink a cup of coffee(not too strong and with milk added) with my wife in the morning. I was dealing with hemroids at the same time and they have cleared up also. One thing I found to really help hemroids is 100% aloe vera clear jel from Wal Mart and applied to toilet paper for a final clense after b movements. Have a good day!

<description> Sunshine44 from Sarasota, Fl, United States writes: "I have been having trouble with bleeding hemorrhoids for the past two years, with increasing frequency and pain. I have tried everything from steroid cream from the doctor, to drugstore cream, coconut oil, probiotics, etc. Then I realized that orange juice and other fruit juices, vinegar, fish oil pills and other vitamins were all making it worse. I have stopped most of them for months, and it helped a bit but not enough. On a hunch, I started drinking one cup of herbal Peppermint tea (tea bags bought at the supermarket) each night for the past 2 weeks and I haven\'t had any bleeding since and I have no more pain. I am now starting to slowly add some of the things that I have eliminated from my diet and have not had any problems.

I did find on the internet that Peppermint tea is good for hemorrhoids, but they said you need to be careful if you have acid reflux or blood pressure problems. Some sites said it could lower your blood pressure, others said it could raise it. I haven\'t found any difference but I don\'t have blood pressure problems. I am hopeful that the tea has healed my hemorrhoids for good and that the tea continues to help. I also hope this helps others with their problem, because I know how painful this can be. Make sure you get Peppermint tea bags and NOT Peppermint oil which will cause more irritation. It is certainly worth a try.

<description>[YEA] Mary from Austin, Tx writes: "I feel so grateful for this site!!! I had a strange bad hemmorhoid issue that came on during a very stressful time at age 44. Never before had I ever had such a problem, and it was scary when I found that conventional medicine is all about nasty surgery.

Reading here, I learned about ACV applications, and started doing them and received immediate comfort and a small reduction in swelling. But after 2 weeks of not much change, I chatted with a friend and she raved about a Chinese herbal pill formula with a western name of \"Fargolin\". I went to a chinese pharmacy in my town and they had several brands - all for only $4-$5 a bottle.

Well, amazingly, after just a couple of doses, the hemorrhoid responded beautifully. My friend said, \"yeah, that\'s normal - just a few days is all it takes. \" I asked if I should finish the bottle anyway and she said no, just save it in case you ever need it again. 2 years on, and still hemorrhoid-free!

<description>[YEA] Victorious from Los Angeles, Ca writes: "Apply an ointment to the external hemorriod within the first couple of minutes it comes out when it is still small, then use your finger to gently push it back inside. It usually retracts. Definitely watch your diet; white rice will constipate you, avoid alcohol if you can, and eat or take fiber supplements with a lot of water. Taking a fish oil or flax seed oil supplement also helps the stool to glide out easily.

<description> Mrjans from Summerfield, Fl, Usa writes: "I am a 54 y/o male and have been a low fat vegan for a little over a year. In May of this year I had severe bleeding in my stool. I went to the hospital after losing much blood and they did a colonoscopy and found out I had an internal hemorrhoid that had bled. They told me not to take asprin or IB Profin since it was a blood thinner.

I have not taken any asprin or IB Profin and I haven\'t had any more bleeding until last week. It stopped but started again today. What could be causing this? I am a low fat vegan and am never constipated and eat a very high fiber diet. What can heal this hemorrhoid? Thanks, Mrjans

<description>[BETTER BUT NOT CURED] Violetto from Atlanta, Ga, United States writes: "Thanks to the person who directed us to this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wH7wKQTc4f4&amp;feature=plcp I have seen plenty of doctors in different specializations in 3 countries, tried many creams, antibiotics, I tried apple cider vinegar in many ways, oils, molasses, cayenne pepper, boatloads of garlic pills, bottles of anti parasite pills, tinctures, baking soda, changed my undergarments to different fabrics, I am a very hygenic person, I have ocd. I feel like I\'m still not naming a bunch. Anyway, I burnt my throat, burnt my a-hole, you name it, I have a 99% chance of trying it already. Nothing worked. I\'m probably broke because of hemorrhoid. I spent a lot of teen years scratching my butt bloody. I suffered having hemorrhoid for more than 10 years and the past 2 days were the best days of my hemorrhoid life.

At this point I don\'t care if it\'s still there and if I had to shove a garlic up there everyday twice a day. It makes me feel like I\'m sitting on clouds. I woke up this morning fissure-free. :. ( I\'m so happy. It itches when the garlic is no longer in there but I just put one back in there and I\'m set. Coat it with some coconut oil, it doesn\'t even have to be a large one, it came out the way I put it in so I guess the size won\'t matter. It\'s not perfect, I itch sometimes still, but compared with the past 10 or so years, it\'s a lot to me. It makes me want to cry writing this. I hope it helps someone.

I don\'t know what\'s going on with my body. I\'m only 25, people talk so positively about oil pulling, acv, molasses and all that. My body has no response to all of that. And I just cannot afford to go to the doctor and it\'s not like they helped. Usually when stuff like that happens to me, I\'m basically on my own. I have 10 bottles of pills just on my desk. Nothing makes any difference. I have 2 dry rash spot on both arm on about the same location and it\'s been there most of my life. I lose hair like crazy, tea tree oil, Hemaplex, folic acid, flaxseed, whatever u name it, tried it (like I said, I\'m broke already). Nothing works, docs can\'t even help me. Sorry to have gone off-topic. But this is how much garlic that cost less than 20cents have helped me feel anew. Now I\'m off to treat my anxiety. :) Thanks EC.

<title>Apple Cider Vinegar</title>

<description>[YEA] Natnmargie from Spokane, Washington, United States writes: "I recently read somewhere that putting raw Apple Cider Vinegar on your hemorrhoids is very soothing and helps them to heal quickly. I had a flair up, and nothing I was using was working (and I only use natural items) So, I grabbed a Viva Paper towel (the softest I could find), doused it with a bunch of _____s Apple Cider Vinegar and then went in to apply it after cleaning the area gently.

Wow, it burns some, however, in about 5 minutes I was already feeling relief and I was completely over my hemorrhoids within hours. (and one more additional treatment)

So I can emphatically suggest using Apple Cider Vinegar in this way.
