I had Listerine, but not the gold...I had the orange cirtus type. I put some on a cotton ball and applied it to the hemmoroid..it burned just a little..then I applied Noxema. Needless to say, I am sitting in front of my computer, PAIN FREE!! After feeling so much pain, this feeling good is feeling great! Thanks to all for these wonderful cures."

As I had suffered with these and had an operation that failed to help, I decided to try it and it works, I started bleeding one day from behind an decided to use the olive oil and it stopped. The way I do it is soak a tissue in it place it on the area then place a polythene bag over that and then some pants that you are not too fond of and leave in place as long as possible. I have not had any trouble since that day.
I must say i am hooked on your site now and they all seem to work. I have been using using many of your skin remedies and i am glowing.ten years younger at least."

Pain has been so bad that I can't sleep at night, so besides using all the topical applications - like ACV - I tried something new. Before bed, I took a two DOANS pills which are muscle relaxers and an ibuprofen. The muscle relaxer helps to relax the muscle in the anus which in turn puts less pressure on the hemorroids. Worked like a charm for me and allowed me to sleep. This is not always good for daytime pain though because the muscle relaxers will relax you all over!"

PREPARATION H WITH ESSENTIAL OILS
[YEA] 09/18/2008: T. in Los Angeles from Los Angeles, USA writes: "I am trying Preparation H mixed with 3 drops Lavender oil and 2 drops Eucalyptus oil. It tingles but it helps disinfect and heal skin tissue. I also have been using suppositories. I have been using Lavender oil for the last ten years on scrapes, pimples and small cuts. Amazingly my skin doesn't scar when I use it for 3 times a day for 5 or 6 days!
BTW, ACV with garlic diluted in water is an excellent way to clear out bacteria and viruses in the colon as an enema. You will need to replace good bacteria with probiotic yogurt or friendly flora supplements."

I tried radishes and turnips for my serious medical problem. And it really works, at 64 years old....I had a serious hemorrhoidal problem. What did radishes and turnips cure ? Well it really cured my problem of humorist and constipation...... :)) color me Happy :)) A fellow employee had the same problem and told me after nothing, my remedy fixed his same problem.
But to fix it you have to do it right.
1.you have have to have both of these veggies at emm, lunch and dinner.
2. Do not drink orange juice, but juices that have vitamin'c' without the acid in orange juice. NO acidic drinks or foods. you can get vitamin 'C' and potassium in pomegranate juice with out acids........
3. do not eat junk foods and beef, the garbage meat..........
This will give your body and intestines a good cleaning - end to end."

I had a very bad case of hemorrhoids and my wife at the time was from the Ukraine. she advised me to take a fresh potato crate it with a potato crater and to press the crated potato onto my hemorrhoids. I did this for 3 days and my hemorrhoids were gone, the juice from the potatoes will shrink the hemorrhoids a fresh potato must be used each time. This does work!"

Cut a slice and shape into a suppository, coat with a tiny bit of vitamin e, then insert. (If potato is chilled - even better!) Retain as long as possible, sleep with it if you can. Keep putting a fresh suppository in after every bowel movement. Use for a couple of days and you will be pleasantly surprised! Don't know why it works, but it does!!!"

I have had constipation off and on for years, and bleed if I eat nuts or get constipated. I have hemorroids and really want to know how to heal them and get my body back to balance. I have been using the Essiac Tea to try to heal the sore rectal area. There is kind of a small scab. I may start using Apple Cider Vinegar. and I know that Castor Oil is good too. I have a tendancy toward candida and I have Epstien Barr and I really want to know what to do. I have dark circles under my eyes and am tired alot and have adrenal fatigue. I sound like a mess. I would love some suggestions."

12/25/2009: Shari from Denver, Co replies: "I've read everything on this website from the bizarre and ridiculous to methods/products that might actually cure hemorrhoids. I personally have found that 500mg Rutin (which strengthens capillaries) and Vitamin B-Complex do help. Be patient; they can take a while to work
Also, avoid toilet paper. Use WET tissue to clean the area after a BM, the wetter the better. The idea is to rinse off residue without aggravating your sensitive bottom. Blot dry with dry tissue and finish with aloe vera or Witch Hazel. Mild soap is fine but antibacterial products are too harsh. I find that most commercial hemorrhoid preparations cause burning and discomfort. ACV might help but DILUTE it first with at least 50 percent water. Don't put harsh products on your hiney.
Avoid foods and/or drugs that you know make you bleed. OTC and prescription pain relievers are particularly bad. Finally, if you do bleed bright red blood once in a while and you're certain the cause is hemorrhoids, don't panic unless the bleeding becomes copious or you notice blood in your clothing long after a bowel movement. In that case, see your doctor."

I had the WORST hemorroid attack and was really suffering. I tried ACV, burned like none other and tried all the OTC creams. They seemed to make everyting worse! I couldn't sleep and was at my wits end, becoming desperate and depressed with the severe stinging, pain and itching. 3 nights ago I sent my hubby out to get Rutin and took a 500mg tablet before bed along with Ibuprofin and a Benadryl. I slept fairly well and didn't have to get up to take a bath at 2AM like usual. I took 500mg the next morning, along with a B6 vitamin and some Ibuprofin, and then again at night, minus the B6. So, with this routine, I am now sitting here 3 days later in ZERO pain. I have a minor amount of itching, NO stinging and slight discomfort I would say. My hemorroids are still there and still bleeding, but I have hope with a high fiber diet, these will be gone in a few weeks. My main concern was the constant pain, and that is gone! Thanks Earthclinic, I do not know what I would have done without you. :)"

USA writes: "I used to work as a Police 911 dispatcher for several years... and because the job required me to be sitting in front of a computor all day, I began to suffer from the itching and pain of Hemorriods. My medical doctor who was also into herbal cures (a rare find these days) recommended I take Rutin for relief!
I bought Rutin (500 mg.) at my local health food store and took one tablet that night before going to sleep! I woke to find the swelling had gone down overnight... Took another one before going to work and my symptoms completely had completely disappeared in 2 days!

They recently got painful and severely swollen for the first time and the women at the health food store recommended rutin. Within 3 days all the swelling was gone, even the painless swelling that persisted since childbirth disappeared. I have poor circulation and sometimes in the dry months get itchy swollen varicose veins behind my knees. This has not been a problem since taking the rutin supplement. A good complement to this herb is horse chestnut, especially for those with varicose veins."

With my first, I did not have hemorroids. The 2nd child, I started to feel hemorroids coming on. By my 5th child, I was having hemorrhoid surgery when I was 6 months pregnant and then again right after the baby was born. The doctor told me they were larger than anything he had ever seen before, and this is his profession! After the last surgery, he told I didnt have any veins left there so I would not have a problem. Within a few weeks, I knew I had hemorroids again, even if he told me that was impossible. Over the years, I went to a TCM doctor who told me I had too much fire in my liver. A drain fire supplement always worked at making them go away. Now into my 30's, I am pregnant with my 6th child and it wasn't long before my hemorroids started to flair. By the time I was 6 months pregnant, I thought for sure I was going to have to have surgery again. I had about 4 and they were clotted and about the size of my thumb and fingers. OUCH! Being pregnant, I knew I had to be careful with what I took. I ended up taking 500 mg of Rutin and 200 mg of B-6 at night. I already take a B complex in my prenatal protocol. I do take 1-2 capsules of an oxygen cleanser every other night to make sure constipation doesn't make things worse. Within a week, those clotted, painful, horrible hemorrhoids were back under control. I eat a raw diet and have a poop stool by my toilet for natural squatting BMs. For some reason, the pressure of the baby during pregnancy gives me problems. I give a hearty YES to Rutin and B-6."

Soursop is useful for high cholesterol, piles and blood in stools etc. Just buy 1 unripe fruit (raw and hard fruit),wash and cut it into small pieces.Cook it for 1 hr under low flame, when ready add some yellow sugar to taste. The fruit can be cooked again for maximum benefits."

But this could take hours sometimes and in the mean time there is pain. If quick relief is what you want take a shower and clean the area good with any soap. Ivory soap is good its 99% soap no oils or perfumes. after you are clean while in shower apply good amount of soap thru fingers. This will act like lubricant and gently with your middle finger not using your nails! push them back in! this works all the time the pain will leave you immediately. This was told to me by a nurse and till this day it works. Just remember -- change your eating habits cause you will get them again or operate them if you don't want to go thru hassle of always having to push them back in..."
