INFLAMATION AND HEMORRHOIDS AFTER H. PYLORI

12/21/2011: J from Thailand writes: "Hi Ted Like Many others I am impressed with your depth of knowledge with stomach issues on Earth Clinic. I have just recently had an endoscopy. i was diagnosed with H-Pylori and duodenal inflammation. I have been battling stomach problems for 10-12 years. acidity gas. Unable to Gain/keep weight on. I have taken the meds for H-Pylori and am just Finishing the Manuka Tea as well. I believe it should be gone.

my Concern is the Redness and duodenal inflammation (Gastritis ).... I had a few drinks the other night and my whole lower digestive track got inflamed with hemorrhoids for more than a week. I have gone gluten free and wont be drinking anytime soon... Can you suggest a way to heal my stomach?? Thanks for you time."

01/13/2012: Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "The quick remedy is humic acid, just 1/16 tsp should quickly control it, and take frequently enough should quickly control the H. pylori. This will resolve some of the stomach problems you have. Keeping the weight down has a lot to do with flatulence, it's the lack of digestive enzymes caused by liver depletion from B complex deficiency mostly.

The inflammation of intestines may be ulcerative colitis, I have updated the remedy to include humic acid, raw papaya and bromelain also to help and aloe vera oil for healing. It's either the lipopolysaccharides that are causing inflammation or a living paratuberculosis bacteria.

PROPER H. PYLORI DIET?

10/16/2011: Nimo from London, United Kingdom writes: "Hi, I've had h. Pylori for 2 months now. it gets worst in the night and morning. I dont know what to eat. ive been on the antibiotics. it has not helped. any body can help me on what to eat and how to get rid of it?"

10/19/2011: Scorpioempress from Ridgecrest, Ca, Usa replies: "It can take up to 6 months to cure h. pylori even with antibiotics.

I am sure there are things here to help speed up the process. Anybody, healthy or sick, benefits from laying off all refined sugars, simple carbs, trans fats, caffeine, and fake sugars. A diet high in protein and vegetables is usually the best route.

You should be building your gut though as you take these antibiotics. Antibiotics can kill you because they kill all your friendly gut bugs. That's why docs often tell people to eat yogurt. You should be popping probiotics like candy! They will also boost your immune system.

You might also try slippery elm. It works well for leaky gut syndrome, so maybe it might help ulcers from h. Pylori. It makes the gut produce the mucus that heals and protects the gut, but that is removed in leaky gut and ulcers. The mucus is the first line of defense in a healthy gut.

Also, if you use bentonite clay you might heal faster. It binds to garbage in the gut and eliminates it through elimination. It's recommended for candida/leaky gut as well.

If it were me, I'd concentrate on building my immune system, alkalizing my body, and getting oxygen to my body. You can find out how to do all of these on this site. Just use the search button."

STOMACH ISSUES AFTER TRAVELING ABROAD

04/10/2008: Puja from Mountain View, California, USA writes: "My husband has been having severe stomach problem since last year. We wnet to India last year and while we were in India he some stomach upset, we thought its normal...after we came back from India, it got worse so we went to urgent care here in CA, the doctor did some tests and said he has HPYLORI and gace hin antibiotics course for 2 weeks. We did the course and after that he was only feeling worse so we went to the doctor again and this time they said he might have stomach ulcer. So we went to a Gastroentologist. The gastroentologist did an Endoscopy, colonoscopy, biopsy and a CTscan and could not find anything wrong. My husband is unabel to digest anything Tea Coffee and Wine make him throw up and all other foods give him continuous belching and burping. After all the tests the doctor said that he has IBS and prescribed Bentyl(dicyclomine) that helped for two weeks after that it only kept getting worse. He is unable to perform any physical activity and he bvasically keeps getting the burps all day. He does not have a loose stomach and only Throws up if he drinks wine. Please help.."

Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "There are certain remedies that absorbs gases or CO2 which causes burping. A low dose remedy such as 1/2 teaspoon of sodium carbonate in 1/2 glass of water, which is a stronger for of sodium bicarbonate will absorb the excess carbon dioxide causing the burping, taken three times a day. The sodium carbonate is often called washing soda, and a milder remedy that scientist use is called carbicarb, which is a mixture of baking soda and sodium carbonate. However in event of extreme burping, excessive fermentation creates a lot of CO2. In a simple reaction a sodium carbonate if reacted with excess CO2, the sodium carbonate becomes a sodium bicarbonate. But if a sodium bicarbonate is added, CO2 is readly comes faster. Therefore, if the body is sufficiently alkalized or the remedy is taken frequently enough, the excess carbon dioxide is reduced and the alkalinity will kill off most of the fermentable fungus by alkalization. However it is my belief that these fungus like organism can be generally killed if a borax and molybdenum remedy is taken too. Such as 1/4 teaspoon of borax is added in a per liter of drinking water. Molybdenum supplements further discourages their growth and my remedy usually needs about 25 mg of sodium molybdate. It should be noted that all sour foods should be avoided, especially all fruits, tomatoes, peanuts, cheese, white bread, ketchup,' potatoes, yeast products (wine, yogurt, beer champagne), especially wheat, mushrooms, possibly beans, any sugar and peppermint tends to cause excessive fermentation and hence is something I would avoid and it takes about three weeks of avoiding plus the alkalizing needed to kill off the fermentable yeast fungus that creates excessive gas. There is a possibility that MMS (sodium chlorite) mixed citric acid can also temporarly kill off the fermentable yeast, but the food source of honey, sugar, fruits, cranberries, glucose, corn syrup should be avoided as they put fuel to fire. Hence since yeast grows in sugar, lowering sugar or blood sugar may discourage fermentable yeast like organism, through supplements that lowers sugar such as one tablespoon of granulated lecithin, chromium picolinate supplements x 3 times a day, vanadium supplements, and zinc gluconate supplements. Therefore alkaline, avoiding acid formng food, certain foods that support yeast growth, and anti fungal supplements should reduce the excess burping and gases and should be noticed some improvement on the third week. Antibiotics quite often worsens the burping since they are made from fungus, and they tend to support fungus growth not bacteria growth. Helicobacter pylori exist in acid medium and alkalizing them can often kill them. But raising immunity that is antibacterial in nature such as 50 mg of zinc gluconate for 4 days or 5 days out of a week should also kill the bacteria too. The fact that the body is throwing up indicates the digestive enzyme or certain vitamins are lacking which prevents digestion. The common remedy is B12 shots, vitamin B complex taken for a couple of weeks, especially magnesium chloride or magnesium supplements and royal jelly (a bee product) should help normalize the digestion and prevent throwing up. The other means is B12 injection to bypass the stomach so that the body can digest the food or even a b complex shot, if the person is unable to take any supplements whatsoever. A bulimia or anorexic type condition, or inability to swallow is quite often due to vitamin B deficiency. All foods should be none sour, otherwise they will cause excess fermentation. The person who have fermenting gases stomach should not take wine, beer, cheese, tomatoes and other things mentioned already. Those worsen the conditions and needs to be abstained for about a month until the fermentable yeast or h. pylori dies off when the body is sufficiently alkaline an sugar is not taken. In the long run it three weeks of alkalizing is needed to reduce the fermentation and excessive burping and b complex should help normalize the digestion process."

04/30/2008: Puja replies: "I just wanted to let you know that we recently got a breath test done and it came negative for any bacteria. So the doctor says that he does not think it is any bacterial overgrowth. Also I wanted to bring to your attention the fact that this has affected his Libido also. We got a hormone test done and it came out perfectly normal but he is unable to perform in any way and even if he tries the burping worsens. Please let me know if we should get any other tests done as I am worried if it is anything serious, since he is unable to indulge in any sexual activity.'Once again thanks a lot for all your time and advice. Puja
"

05/01/2008: Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "The present breath test is primitive. One does not need to prove that you got burping from the breath test, all you need to know is you burp and there is fermentation going on. Hence, avoiding common fungus promoting foods such as wheat, bread, sugar, yeast, sour foods, dairy products helps. Beans also tend to form gases in some ways too.

Whenever the dietary factors and fungus are in a way, people with high oils in the body or fungus, tends to block normal hormone production. Hence one way that can raise libido, at least by me anyway is 1/4 teaspoon of borax in one liter of drinking water and take this once every three days. It will also reduce the fungus and other pathogens too.

Most importantly if the sodium carbonate (washing soda) 1/4 teaspoon' plus sodium bicarbonate 1/4 teaspoon in 1 glass of water taken twice a day, the carbonate will react with carbon dioxide to neutralize it as the carbonate will absorb the excess carbon dioxide generated by the body.

Anytime I take baking soda only, followed by burping it indicates the body needs more bicarbonates to process the protein to convert into urea, otherwise the protein can't be utliize. Hence, I know that my body is acid, even if there is NO bacteria either, but the burping is always and indication and if I continue to take it I got no burping. However the addition of sodium carbonate neutralizes the burping by converting that into sodium carbonate. If the body needs more bicarbonate to properly metabolize, it might be that I can take 1/2 teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate plus 1/4 teaspoon of sodium carbonate, in 1 glass of water and take it slowly.

Libido in increased with small borax because it is a surfactant, is anti fungal, anti yeast and usually helps normalize magnesium and calcium ratios, besides, I found from my own experiment as well as my friend to note that libido in increased. Borax has that component because it also normalizes hormone, but i believe its surfactant property prevents oil dissolved in the blood that blocks hormone from working, and it also removes fluorides, which blocks libido."

07/18/2008: Manish from Orlando, FL replies: "On the same lines as Ted mentioned above, there is a diet plan that worked for me. I had candida and perhaps H Pylori as well (I have not gotten tested yet, but a doctor mentioned to me after hearing my symptoms). This diet plan avoids all sugar, fruits, wheat and other gluten grains/products, beans, tomatoes, dairy, etc. It even avoids rice!! Please check out their website: http://www.bodyecology.com. I am not affiliated with them in anyway, but am actually trying out their diet plan, which is working miracles for me so far. I had a lot of mental symoptoms as a result of candidiasis that I have had for quite a few years. I tried many candida killers and medicines, but the rule of thumb is that as long as you are feeding the candida, there is no way for cure. So, diet seems to be the ultimate answer. You will find that other websites also confirm similar diets. Anyway, get Donna's book and follow the recipes. She also has a sugar replacement product called "Lacanto" that is made out of herbs -- just tastes great and is a sugar-thirst quencher while you are on the diet. Good luck!"

H PYLORI IN TOOTH PLAQUE

04/01/2008: Barbara from Sydney, Australia writes: "What sort of evidence is there that helicobacter can exist in tooth plaque? I have heard from my dentist that this is possible."

04/02/2008: Joyce from Joelton, TN replies: "Response to Barbara from Sydney, 4/1/08, re her helicobacter question:

Beth, I've never heard of it, but I don't think I'd worry about any organism embedded in that dratted plaque getting out to create problems elsewhere.

Type in H Pylori and research for it if you think its important.' But I can tell you from personal experience that eliminating bleached flour from my diet got rid of my gastric problems, without taking any antibiotics to rid myself of the H pylori which orthodox medicine now says causes the problem. If what you find on line doesn't agree with what your dentist said, I'd go dentist shopping. About 30 years ago, someone got the bright idea sending a pretty young chick with a car in perfect working shape around to about 20 garages to check out how honest they were. The result was "not very honest". About 20 years ago someone again got the bright idea, except they sent the pretty young thing to a dentist they trusted to make sure she didn't need any dental work. Next they sent her around for appointments with 20 dentist. The result was only l dentist told her that her teeth were in great shape and needed no work. Five or six of them settled for telling her she needed to have her teeth cleaned. The others ranged from telling her she needed a filling or two - to trying to talk her into a root canal and/or crowns. I don't recall any of them wanting to extract them.

There is a book "If You Believed Everthing Your Doctor Told You, You'd Be Dead By Now" which makes some very interesting reading about how hard it is to find a doctor to treat you medically for heart problems instead of rushing you to the operating room for a coronary artery bypass. Even though there have been research & reports that those treated medically outlived the bypass patients and with a better quality of life, CAB surgery is where the money is, and orthodox medicine usually goes where the money is to be found! The author of the book managed to avoid the CAB, but he tells you it wasn't easy!"

TREATMENT FOR H-PYLORI

01/20/2008: Sylvia from Concord, California writes: "I was diagnosed with H-pylori in May of 2006.' I have tried treatments of doubled antibiotics that make me extremely ill and I end up in the emergency room. For about 6 months now or a little more than that I have experienced a constant clearing of the back of my throat. My doctor calls it post-nasal drip. On Christmas day I developed a cold. I ran a fever and had the chills. I could never get over the hacking cough. I started to feel naseaus and dizzy. My doctor said I had bronchitis and asthma. I have had bronchitis before but never asthma. I have been on antibiotics for the bronchitis for 10 days. This is actually one of the only antibiotics that my body could handle. My breathing condition did not get better but my bronchitis did. My doctor put me on Prednison pills, Q-Var inhalant. Also I recently found out I'm anemic. So I'm taking Iron pills. I'm using allbuterol inhalant. I'm just finishing up Doxycycline. I'm thinking that my H-pylori has caused this post-nasal drip and this has caused all of this. Also, on December 5th I was burning a gel candle next to where I was sitting by my computer. I started to feel dizzy. I looked around and my house was filled with smoke. I had inhaled this plastic perfuming aroma. I took this candle outside because it would not blow out. When trying to blow it out, it became more out of control. I took it outside and just as I got outside, it blew up in my hands. I got 2nd and 3rd degree burns on my hands. I would really like some feed back on all of this. I have been in bed now for 9 days and need to get to feeling better. Thank you."

TED'S REMEDIES

10/17/2007: MH writes: "I have just been tested positive for H Pylori. Could You tell me how to treat this. Acute symptoms over the passed three weeks are acid reflux....and stomach discomfort. Many thanks."

Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "I noted a simple cure of H. pylori involves the same remedy as the acid reflux. The key is to reduce the stomach acidity and decreases the time the food spends in the stomach. Sour food, such as fruit juices, and other sour food would cause the stomach to digest the food slower (this is a known fact by even conventional medicine), and results in acid reflux. Adding 1/8 teaspoon of baking soda or 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda along with the foods we eat, with reduce sourness in the food and sweetness, can prevent H. Pylori from growing. Drinking plenty of water would also reduce the colonies as H. Pylori are acid lovers. In general I would also take 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda once in the morning and once before bedtime in 1/2 glass of water. But I may also take a 1/8 or'1/4 teaspoon of baking soda along with the food to reduce its acidity and decrease the time the food spends in the stomach, so that the H. Pylori, can persist. This has worked generally well. One secret why I never get H. pylori is that when I eat food, I always eat going back and forth drinking water. In generally I drink between 2-3 glasses (usually 3) of water during meals, not counting all the other glasses of water I take when there' no meal. Hence, I can easily exceed the required 8 glasses per day just counting the number of glasses of water I drink in a day, which amounts to at least 9 glasses of water a day. Between meals, I may drink between 1-2 glasses just because I feel the need. The key therefore is just to add baking soda. Some people want to maintain a sodium/potassium ratio. In that case, a 1/4 baking soda plus 1/8 potassium bicarbonate in 1/2 glass of water taken twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. Some baking soda is needed during meals. Do not add too much baking soda. It has a laxative effect during meals, but it does decrease the time the food spends in the stomach and H. pylori dies of starvation in an alkaline medium."

TREATMENT FOR H-PYLORI

10/01/2007: N writes: "Ted, I have been visiting the earth clinic website frequently for information for my husband's problem. He tested positive for H-pylori in March of 2006 and was given the antibiotic treatment which is routinely given in the US for this bactiria.

Immediately after the very strong and large regimin of antibiotics needed to destroy the Helobacter pylori, my husband came down with a cough that would not stop and was a really big problem at night after dinner. His doctor sent him to an allergist who gave him a lot of other medication and to an ENT (Ear Nose Throat) doctor, who said he did not have post nasal drip although meantime he was prescribed all of the nasal sprays and medications available for allergies, although he was found to not have any allergies.

Next he went to a gastroenterologist who performed an endoscopy and concluded he had GERD. He was prescribed Reglan (metaclopromie) and Protonix, and this seemed to be working, no more cough. Then he had a colonoscopy due to rectal bleeding due to hemmoriods, they wanted to rule out other possible causes of bleeding, but again said that he had GERD, and a small diverticulitis. The rectal bleeding he has with each bowel movement and especially after he eats spicy Mexican foods. This doctor told him to stop taking the reglan since it causes memory loss and to loose 25 pounds- my husband is 5'10" and weighs 190 pounds so he is not overweight. The doctor said if he loses weight the reflux would stop.

Next , he was prescribed prevacid and something similar to protonix-- did not work. All along, he has been taking the ACV and baking soda that you recommend. He saw a little improvement with the ACV, but was not taking it regularly and i think only 2 times per day. Ted- my husband never has the burning sensation that most people have with reflux. He only has the cough, he feels like something is stuck in his throat and like there is mucous. He has taken mucinex and it has not worked. He ate chocolate pudding last night before bed and 1/2 hour later he woke up and vomited. The doctor told him to stop coffee but he has to have that Greek coffee every morning and it is very strong. I bought him some of the enzymes you recommended to someone on the site but he only took them for a few days.

Do you have any recommendations for my husband? he is going to Greece for 1 month to visit his family and I don't want them to think he is sick and that coming to America (10 years ago) made him sick. I don't think he will take the ACV with him, but can he take regular vinegar while he is there? If you recommend that he takes ACV and the baking soda, what dosage should he take? I believe that the connection between the h-pylori he destroyed in his system and this atypical cough symptom of GERD is very strong. What can he take to help his body fight the GERD? SOmeone told us acidophilus. What do you recommend? Maybe if you can tell us exaclty what he should do (for the 1 month in Greece and for after he returns) I can print out your response and show it to him? This has been so frustrating, we have 3 small children and both work full time and we are so busy and at the end of the day he tells me he is feeling so badly. Thank you so much, I really appreciate your time and advice!"

Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "If helicobacter pylori were not helpful with the original apple cider vinegar and baking soda, and the coughing were not helpful with mucinex.

A more direct method of killing helicobacter pylori is possible with a zinc and magnesium supplements, especially the zinc. Certain other natural sugar such as xylitol, that has shown to kill them too. Hence, if he can't stop drinking coffee, at least adding the xylitol as a substitute sugar should help. Taking some 50 mg of zinc gluconate, raising the zinc levels also will kill the h. pylori directly. If those were not help than an addition 250 mg of magnesium citrate 5 days out of a week, might help too.

The coughs, might be a viral nature, and hence, if I have an incurable coughs, there are a couple of remedies that work. Using 2 tablespoons of baking soda in 1/2 glass of water and use that as a mouth wash. Or taking a small sip slow drink 5 cc at 10 minute interval can kill the cough. Another possibility is I would use a zinc lozenges if possible. The last remedy that has worked for me on an unstoppable coughs were taking 250-500 mg of BHT (butylated hydroxytoluene) taken about only a couple of days. Those I have noted to work the best for me.

An even simpler remedy for the coughs is pure lemon juice drank very slowly in small sips ever 10 minutes for a couple of times to several times, and this I found to be quite soothing. It works by acidity of the lemon to kill whathever organism that exists on the throat.

As to the issue of mucus, N Acetyl Cysteine dissolves mucus usually better, at least for me, where the dose is 500 mg/day. It takes a couple of days to notice improvement, but for a BHT the result with me has been faster. Granulated lecithin one tablespoon a day seems to help also.

But in general, I believe it is most important to get urinary pH within normal parameter first, otherwise all other remedies won't work as well as it should. Hence if baking soda and acv don't work, I might consider just 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda in 1/2 glass of water twice a day at least for about 5 days to see if it actually helped or not. If not a 2 tablespoon lime plus 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda in 1/2 glass of water taken twice a day might be the other choice.

Other traditional remedy mentioned elsewhere such as yogurt, antibiotics, and others I experienced has not work very well.

As to why the zinc against helicobacter pylori, there is some studies to indicate this to be the case. But a free iron metal can also increase free radical. Hence, green tea (no sugar, no milk) might in some case help, at least removal of the free iron metals which causes the body's free radicals to be higher. Tannin are good chelators of free iron metals.

As an emergency measure to help with cough, taking a drop or two of peppermint oil helps almost immediately stop the persistent coughs.

Milk should be avoided in the coffee or food, as the milk seems to allergic reaction, which may lead to coughing. At least it happened with me."

NATURAL REMEDY FOR H-PYLORI

02/23/2007: Stanley from North Shield, Tyne and Wear, England writes: "I have helibactor pylori but antibiotics don't seem to have worked, is there any other combination that works or natural remedy? Trying hydrogen peroxide at the moment. Manuka honey seems to alleviate discomfort. Also trying squatting position as opposed to normal toilet method."

Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "Yes there are many natural remedies that deal with helicobacter pylori, but often works best in combination. The list is quite long, but briefly, cayenne pepper is one of them.

Studies here in Thailand also found nutmeg or Myristica fragrans, to be quite inhibitory against the H. pylori, but in their research they used the nutmeg oil extracts. There are others that were found also, but those are generally more difficult to obtain.

Another that can be combined is the curcumin (found in turmeric), which also have antibiotic properties and was shown to have inhibitory effects on H. pylori.

Cinnamon spices taken frequently is also quite effective. Part of the reason why Thais do not have H. Pylori compared to the more developed countries is due to tendency to eat spicy foods which are high in peppers, curcumin, cinnamon, clove and others.

Most spices in fact generally have antibiotics properties anyway. I suspect also that even something as simple as eating orange peels, which contain orange oil also have antibiotic properties, but the same is also true for eating certain seeds of fruits such as apricot pits, cherry seeds, etc.

Since I eat spicy foods almost everyday, helicobacter pylori or ulcers is never the problem. Any spices that have preservative properties are considered antibiotics and you have a good chances of killing the H. pylori.

However, in case of an acid reflux, those have more to do with acid base imbalances which generates h. pylori by fermentation in the stomach instead. So resolving these by taking baking soda, still remains the basic requirement in removing the h. pylori in my opinion.

Therefore a simple remedy is to take 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda in 1/2 glass of water taken twice a day on an empty stomach at least 1 hour before food. While during meals you can take the spices along with the food. Such as taking several spices of your choice three times a day, about 1/8 teaspoon each such as cinnamon spices, curcumin, clove, thyme, oregano and cayenne peppers.

I might also add nutmeg oil just to be sure. If you want to reduce treatment time to rid of helicobacter pylori, the key appears to be the frequency of application. That means if the stomach is constantly filled with a small amounts of spices throughout the day (such as taking a tiny amount cinnamon and oregano combo every hour less than 1/10 of a pinch), you might achieve record time of actually killing them in less than 2-3 days. A maintenance dose is necessary I think after the "cure" or "remission" by taking at least once or twice a day to keep them in check.

Basically the baking soda formula is designed to decrease the amount of time food spends in the digestive system, thus reducing fermentation of h. pylori and kill them by starvation and replication. If the h. pylori DON'T get a chance to ferment the foods in the stomach, they have little chances for growth. If fermentation is zero because the stomach doesn't store the food long enough, H. pylori have little chances of causing ulcers.

To help healing of ulcers, consider drinking some aloe vera juice, which contains allantoin and may help healing of ulcers once the h. pylori is gone. Ted"

P.S. One study in the Journal of Gastroenterology suggests turmeric to be most effective against Helicobacter pylori. So perhaps turmeric might be considered. However, foods such as licorice extracts, ginger, cumin or wasabi horseradish are probably effective also. So there are many ways you can reduce the helicobacter pylori."

Pylori, I am only aware of the use of amoxicillin or tetracycline taken along with Pepto Bismol taken for about one to two weeks before it is gone. I think sodium molybdate 50 mg, is synergistic to the Pepto Bismol in killing off the H. Pylori. Artemisia oil or wormwood acts to deprive iron from H. Pylori, thus further killing them.

I prefer to take natural therapies by taking a couple drop or two of tea tree oil and clove oil internally along with food and empty stomach to clear the stomach of bacteria.

Usually the best ways is to add a small amount of baking soda 1/8 teaspoon with food and 1/4 teaspoon before food to reduce the time the food spends in the stomach, thus starving the H. Pylori slowly.

Most doctors' meds do not cure them because it doesn't kill the H. pylori directly and thus helps long term sales of medicine year in and year out. A cure would not be profitable since you will buy their medicine only once. It is up to you to find the cure yourself. Therefore, artemisia, clove oil, tea tree oil, Pepto bismol, etc. are one of the many natural therapies that can help you."

NATURAL TREATMENT FOR H-PYLORI

10/12/2006: Terri from Lake Mary, FL writes: "I have a question for YOU.... I have H. Pylori, and have been told I have to treat it with antibiotics. I am afraid of antibiotics, especially such high doses. I have been on the internet for days now, trying to find something natural that will get rid of this bacteria, with no success. I have bought all the meds I need to start the anti-B treatment, but am praying there is a natural alternative for me...please, can you help?"

Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "Dear Terri: I have seen H. Pylori killed with just taking some 5% solution fulvic acid with some added sea salt of about 5% also. And drink for a couple of days. However, I found just taking only one glass of one teaspoon of 5% fulvic acid with 5% sea salt in one day three times per day completely killed the H. pylori.

The problem as with most people is that finding fulvic acid may be a problem so in certain cases drinking temporarily of course, maybe once a week with 1 tablespoon of sea salt in 1 glass of water I have known to kill the pylori too, however that was a minor case of H. Pylori that was cured and difficult to generalized.

H. Pylori might have one other peculiar weakness, a small amount of borax, such as adding 1/4 teaspoon of borax per liter of water, and with 20 drops of 3% H2O2 to that one liter drinking water.

To get just enough sea salt in it without causing too much sodium retention or excess salt, I think just one single teaspoon of sea salt would be one way you can try as one possible alternative approach.

The H. Pylori conditions should be reduced the next day, if all things go as expected."
