I am a female. After reading this site for hours one night I tried a treatment immediately and just as so many had explained the warts that I could see were white the next day, some turned black and came out while I was using the bathroom. Also, note worthy, is the fact that there were so many more than I knew because it seems to bring them to the surface. YES YOU CAN PUT A TAMPON IN THE ACV AND PUT IT INSIDE YOUR VAGINA. It doesn't really hurt that much the first day but whew! I have tried so many things to try and get rid of the annoying buggers. I used aldara which is extremely expensive and it did not work, went through the whole box, and instead of going away they got bigger and spread. Yeay, thats just great, so then I had them frozen, no just spread even more. Now I have been trying the ACV and in just 3 days they have already turned black. Right now I am just focusing on the one external, a little to scared to try the tampon thing, maybe I will try it soon, I thought about doing the acv douche though. I have been seeing positive results and will continue to update. I have also been drinking the acv everyday and have bathed in it once. The bath was draining, probably releasing the toxins out of my pores. I feel and look so much better. ACV is a cure-all. The best thing I have ever come across. This site is a life-saver. Side note: On the first day of ACV treatment I started taking 4 garlic pills/ day, 1 1000mg vitamin E pill/ day, 1 multivitamin/day, I drink 2 cups of each orange juice and apple juice a day, and took a 1 oz shot of ACV the first and third night of treatment (and will continue to do so every other night for the next month or 3). I chase each shot with a FULL glass of water without stopping until its completely done. Remember, you just swallowed acetic acid. I also ... often, drink about 8 glasses of water, and go to the gym and/or do something athletic outside every day. I surf weekly. I also sleep at least 8 hours every night. During the 3 days of treatment I left the ACV on the entire time I was sleeping and did not remove until I woke up. Now its my 4th straight day applying ACV(2-5 hours a day). Only a couple of my warts have blackened, but more than half of it is still the same (or may have whitened a little bit)..i soak like 2-4 cottonballs with ACV then tape it around the area between the head of my penis and the shaft (where most of my GW are)..am i doing anything wrong or is ACV just not for me?or should i just keep doing what im doing? the pain is tolerable for me, and my skin down there is pretty resilient to acv..."

12/02/2008: Carol from Bethlehem, PA writes: "i was diagnosed with hpv about four years ago when i first had a genital wart outbreak around vagina. i treated them via aldara and recently had an outbreak after beginning "oil pulling". i thought it was probably a reaction and received aldara again. in the last couple of months i have noticed a hard flat bump on the inside of my upper lip. it has not gone away or gotten any bigger. it is about the size of an eraser head around but flat. now that i have been hearing about oral warts i am wondering if that is what it is and who i would even go see a gyno or a dentist? i tried soaking a cotton ball in acv and my whole upper lip turned white and was very sore after only ten minutes. i dont know if it turned white because lip tissue is so sensitive or if it is because it is warts. i am very worried if anyone has any insight please help!!"

It's worse than the warts!! I have been cleaning it with tea tree oil and using vit e oil but it doesnt seem to be getting better! I'm devastated cuz I was really hoping for the ACV to get rid of my little warts and now i'm suffering a bigger problem. Has anyone else had this reaction? Is it that I've burnt my skin with the ACV? I know exactly who gave it to me and at first I was quite upset... but he does not know he has it, does not have visible warts and a condom cannot prevent it. Coming here and reading the stories really made me see that just about anyone can get it and it does not mean that you are a dirty person or have to be promiscuous to contract it. It seems pretty common and happens to people in all walks of life - around the globe. But WHY me??? right!!

Monday, I went out and purchased a fresh batch of ACV at the local co-op. Monday night I soaked up some cotton balls and tucked them into my Va-gi-gi folds - it stung a little but not much. I adhered a panty liner and went to bed. Yesterday - when I awoke I discovered I have a total of 3 and they were obvious and now more raised & greyish. I dabbed them with HP and then showered - blow dried not toweled -- dabbed again with HP then Q-tip dabbed with ACV. In the afternoon - I only misted some cotton balls with ACV and placed them down there again - this time the sting lasted much longer but subsided after 10 minutes. I left them there for a few hours. At this point I felt a little tender down there. I mixed up an oil in no specific quantity - just a mixture of castor, olive, Vit E & A, tea tree & thuja oils - I put that on. I always tell myself not to get aggressive with things - but GW - come on - I had a hard time not doing something every minute. I wanted them gone. Last night I took a bath and added about a 1/2 cup of ACV. Blow dried again - then HP dabbs followed by the cotton balls soaked - pressed into fold. I thought I was going to scream. When people say it stings --- IT STINGS... the only thing I could do was tell myself it is working - it is working. It is painful --- I am sensitive - I cannot lie - it really stings, burns - at least for me. The other thought I had was -- the pain I am feeling right now - is not worth the pleasure it took to get here. OWE. I think I lasted 1/2 hour then put my oil mix on again and all was good again.

So, I started Monday night. Today, Wednesday - to my amazement - they all washed off in the shower. I HP'ed them then put on my oil. My Va-gi-gi area is swollen - but it does not hurt - just slightly irritated but totally worth it. I am going to stop the ACV for a few days but continue with the HP and oil. I'm guessing in 3 days I will do an overnight with ACV and see if there are any. On a side note - I also decided to purchase a reusable douche (did I mention I am freaked out - who knows what's up there?) and started yesterday with a diluted ACV wash. I am actually praying it comes back negative - no hurt in hoping."

I havnt been able to leave it on for more than an hour due to the burning. But I have to say that things are looking better. I did a double dose last night of acv, hp and tee tree oil. This morning when I woke up I had some bleeding so I know something is working. I am hopfull that i will be gw free in a couple of weeks. I am also duching with diluted acv and tee tree oil once a day. I have no idea if it is working but i have to try. I have also found a new remedie that i will try tonight. I found it online Oil of Oregano. I know that this heals most ailments when taken internally and it is pretty potent stuff. Has anyone else heard of this to treat warts? Like I said I dont know if it will work but this is what im going to do. Clean the infected area well with hp apply vitamin e on the surrounding skin then rub the oil of oregano on the wart itself let it be then apply tee tree oil to a cotton ball and leave over nite. I have had genital warts for about a year now, 2 small and one relatively big at the shaft of my penis. I was given Warticon at my local sexual health clinic which worked well. Unfortunately after about 3 weeks the warts started to slowly grow back! Then I found this site and I was very much looking forward to get rid of these disgusting things. I must say it works like a miracle! All you need to buy is:

- apple cider vinegar
- plasters
- cotton balls

Make a somewhat flat piece of cotton rather than a ball shape so that it covers the wart. Make an effort to not make it bigger than the wart itself because it will burn the skin area around the wart very badly. Then soak the cotton piece in acv and tape it against the wart. I used it on the big one, and it burned like hell. It was very painful for about 10-15 minutes after which the pain eased and disappeared. I kept it on overnight.

Now, the warts looks sucks big time even before the treatment but man, when I took the plaster off in the morning I was disgusted. However I read it previously on this site how it will look and this helped. It turned totally white in color and also it seemingly pouted out from my skin, as if my skin wanted to isolate it from itself. Such a dishusting sight.

Then I did not do anything just went to work and decided to repeat the process the evening.

When I checked it before the next treatment I was quite disappointed as the color started to go back to normal and also it was more burrowed in the skin as it was in the morning.

I repeated the process.

Same burning pain for 10 minutes then it cedes.

Next morning as I took it off I knew it will work. The wart was much smaller and dark red - black in color. I was horrified to see that there were actually a couple of smaller warts around the big one that I could not see before..these also turned into black.

I decided to give my skin a break so I did not apply acv anymore on that area.

This was one and a half weeks ago and the warts are completely gone however I still have some small scab there plus some discoloration of the tissue. Nonetheless I am extremely pleased!

Just to sum up my experience,

the warts are actually killed in a matter of a couple of days, but the scab itself will stay there up until two weeks (!) so you might want to consider this as well. Even so It is a great thing, thank you Earth Clinic."

During this process I also did urine therapy,and coconut oil which I believe also helped in the healing. Well this is what I did and it cured me of my warts. Its been almost a year and those warts are still gone. I do have a few small ones popping up, but now I know how to deal with them. I hope this has been helpful to you."

I have never had an abnormal pap in my life and have two healthy children and have been married for 7 yrs. The Doc told me i had HPV naturally I yelled at my husband and acussed him of cheating. he swears he has been faithful i believe him. The doctor told me that hpv can lay dormint for years and usually stress will bring out the virus. I just had surgery and have been under a lot of financial stress. Any ways, I looked in the mirror and to my horror I saw the most disgusting things growing out of my va-ja-ja. I instantly got on the internet and looked at picture after picture. My growths dont look like the ones on the internet so then i found the vinagar test. I know that this dosent always work but i had to know (since the doc never told me he saw these finger looking things). They turned a little white, so I still wasnt convinced i had them but knew something wasnt right. Finally I found the ACV treatment and was convinced this is what i have. I am on day two of the treatment. I can only leave the cotton ball on for an hour tops but i have noticed the gw that i didnt know i had are coming off! However, my poor wings r very raw and swollen. I apply vitamin E oil to sooth. I also have started douching with dilluted acv since im sure they are on my cervix too and they are on the inside of my vagina.

I've had 5 GW's on my penis' shaft and scrotum; all are gone now. Hopefully they'll stay away too with my recent return to a healthy lifestyle of eating well and exercising. Though, I do have one HUGE piece of advice to all that are interested...

Each area that can have an outbreak of GW's is different. Some are very sensitive while others may be less so.

I STRONGLY recommend giving your skin a 24 break between treatments with ACV. Don't worry, It will still work. It will just help to prevent any scarring. Trust me... I was so eager to get rid of them upon first discovery that I treated 3 days in a row for about 10+ hours each day. Because of this I have a very visible white scar the size of a q-tip swab on my penis' shaft. I traded one temporary problem for a more permanent embarrassing one. It's like I have The Scarlet Letter on my penis now.

I've been putting Vitamin E on it daily and covering with a band-aid. The wound has healed but it is not getting any darker in color. In a few months I'll look into having it surgically removed via a plastic surgeon ($$$), if that's even an option. Whatever the case, I MUST do something to correct this.

Anyway...

I suggest the following regiment:

Day 1: At bed time, soak q-tip swab in ACV and apply to GW. Cover with band-aid. Remove after 8 hours.

Day 2: Let skin rest. Clean with Hydrogen Peroxide after showering.

Day 3: At bed time, soak q-tip swab in ACV and apply to GW. Cover with band-aid. Remove after 8 hours.

Day 4: Let skin rest. Clean with Hydrogen Peroxide after showering.

Day 5: Examine GW's.

If they are black or have begun to scab, immediately begin application of Vitamin E. Continue to apply Vitamin E for several days until GW is gone and skin is healed.

If GW is not black or scabbing, continue with ACV treatment as described in Day 1. Continue this treat/rest/examine cycle until GW is black or scabbing, then apply Vitamin as described above.

Here is my story. Diagnosed one year ago with anal GW I was devastated. Not knowing much about the virus I was overcome with the reality that I had to tell my partner of 2 months that I had GW. After much hesitation I was coaxed by my new partner to tell him what was going on, he knew I had something on my mind so I told him. Being a very supportive type of guy he understood the situation and supported me through the initial shock of finding out I had GW. So, firstly the Doctor gave me a topical cream to try and sort the problem, did not work for me and the warts just got bigger. I had them burnt off with Cryotherapy, was a relief to see them disappear, but within a month they were back! With a vengeance! I noticed more than 5 re-appeared. Tired of visits to my local sexual health clinic (located in the most indiscreet position on the main street!), I was determined to find a natural cure. That is when I found this web site (yesterday). Anxious to try the ACV method I rushed to the store and got some cheap ACV and cotton buds. I used the cotton bud soaked in ACV method. Placed the soaked bud just inside my anus and went to bed, the pain was severe! but don't let that put you off, after 5 hours trying to sleep with the uncomfortable stinging I took the bud out and managed to sleep well through the night. I took a look in the mirror in the morning and I too had the warts turn white. Deciding to shower and clean the area I was AMAZED to find the warts coming off in fleshy bits as I washed. I have been in a relationship for 2 years and was recently diagnosed with HPV/anal condyloma (warts). So, my primary care and my derm put me on Aldara and used liquid nitrogen to freeze them. After reading all the side effects and length of time it would take the Aldara to work I thought of looking into some home remedy and found Earth Clinic's website (THANKFULLY!) I bought some ACV and used regular toilet paper and applied it for 45 minutes. I couldn't believe my eyes! All the areas with the HPV (not only the warts themselves) turned whitish. So bascially it was treating areas that I would never have known to be infected. So that night, as many recommended by people who've posted, I slept with cotton balls soaked with ACV. The next morning I could already see a difference. The areas that were whitish were now greyish and in some areas black. I repeated the process again that night and though kinda sore (it does sting a little at first for sure), I kept it on over night. By the 2nd day the warts DISAPPEARED and some areas that had turned blackish were a little excoriated. So, I have been using neosporin and Vit. E gel to alleviate any possible irritation. 10/29/2008: Sharon from Florida, USA writes: "I first discovered a wart in the first week of September which was rather small. I assumed it was an 'aftershave' bump and squeezed it a few weeks later. It came back & eventually I self diagnosed myself w/ GW. I still went to the doc who gave me the options & I chose to have it frozen off to get rid right then & there. I was prescribed bactroban to help the healing, but to my disappointment another wart appeared a few weeks later. I then tried ACV and after 3 days the small wart was gone. But sadly enough another two weeks later either another small wart appeared on the same one came back that I did ACV on.

I knew it wasn't the first one because a big ugly scar is still there from the surgery. Has this happened to anyone? I know the ACV works but I wonder if I stopped treating it too soon ie. when the wart disappears (I've never seen it drop off like others have) is it safe to stop. The surrounding area seems affected & there's nothing else to treat, but do I still apply ACV treatment? Its now a month later & I just want to make sure this is gone!"

[YEA]  10/27/2008: Larry from Elmhurst, IL/USA writes: "Apple Cider Vinegar absolutely works. I have a small wart on the foreskin of my penis. Since it was on the foreskin that can be wrapped over the head, I decided it may work better if I don't use any tape or Band-Aid. I just took a cotton swab and remove the small amount of cotton from the tip. Then dipped into the ACV. The cotton with ACV was placed on the foreskin near the head. That is where the wart was. Then the foreskin is wrapped over the head keeping the cotton in place. I started at midnight. I had it in place until 9am in the morning. When I check in the morning, it was white and bigger than before. Then I replaced a new cotton containing more ACV. I had this on for another 9 hours until end of work day at 6PM. When I when to take a shower at around 9PM. The wart fell off when I try to clean it before another application.

I am currently applying one last application to ensure the wart is totally destroyed. My first and second application was not painful at all. The last application sting just a little bit. This pain is very light as I don't have high tolerance for pain. The only other thing to mention is that there is a small color change on skin right next to it. It is so small that this not much to worry about. I am sure it will heal in the next few days so I am not going to try to apply anything else to it after my last application.

10/26/2008: Desire from Johannesburg, South Africa writes: "I noticed a small bump around the outside of my vagina a few months ago, i was still in the denial about it so left it there thinking it would go away, but it didnt it gotten worse, now im sitting with colliflower bumps around the opening of my vagina, its so embarasing and been reading about acv and tried it about 3 weeks ago together with caster oil, garlic and tea tree oil. on and off, theres a couple of the small ones that turned black and fell off like the following day. But ive also noticed that it has spread to the inside of my vagina.. PLEASE can anyone give me some advice about a few things thats really driving me nuts..

1.how can i treat the warts inside my vagina? without damaging anything!!!the acv sounds abit harsh.
can i use garlic and leave it there over night? has anyone tried this? and how will i know that its gone completly?

2.Does your immune system eventually clear the virus?

3.should i just persist even though its burning the living S... out of me, cause i dont see much difference in the rest of the warts and ive been using the agv over night like once a week

4.im just confused what am i doing wrong??
