[YEA]  01/02/2009: D from Nowhere, US writes: "Came across this site-looking for some help for gw. I have read all the emails and tried to follow the advice as best as possible. I had a couple of bad gw-and after 5 days-they have gone thru the turning black and then white around them and falling off in the shower. Upon notice-I see several small places where the wart was-that looked like little pimples-inside the area that was being treated. I have been very pleased with the progress so far and must say this site has been a life saver, however, I am curious if these are more warts or just a result of the treatment. If someone could please respond-I would be greatly appreciative. Thanks again for all the help"

01/29/2009: JB replies: "hi D, sounds like the root of the wart... if the surrounding skin is pink, new, and/or tender, then let it heal. 3-7 days should be sufficient. you'll know when it feels good. then try to pinpoint the roots or "pimples" with Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV). It seems a cotton swab or Q-tip, soaked in ACV and held with direct pressure for about 15 min 2-3 times a day for 3 days. If painful, stop applying and rest. wait 2-4 days for results. IF any roots or "pimples" remain, repeat treatment. Much love, prayers and healing."

[YEA]  01/02/2009: Mike from Methuen, MA writes: "I had been struggling with genital warts for two years and tried Aldara which did absolutely nothing except cost me $40 even with a great insurance plan...they started spreading and I had finally given up and called my doctor to have them frozen off when I decided to try online for home remedies and came across this website.

I immediately went out and bought some hydrogen peroxide and some apple cider vinegar. It cost me about $6 altogether and after the first night the warts were a whitish color, second night of treatment the turned completely black, 3rd night no change so i decided to stop treatment and let them dry out as I heard that once black it means they are dead.

By day 5 the black warts fell off completely leaving my penis completely smooth with no scarring whatsoever and I am absolutely amazed.

This remedy absolutely works, takes little to no time and doesnt hurt half as bad as some people seem to say."

[YEA]  01/01/2009: ANONYMOUS from CLEVELAND, OHIO writes: "I TRIED THE ACV REMEDY ON ONE AREA OF MY GW. ON THE THIRD DAY THEY WERE BLACK AND WHEN I WASHED I NOTICED THEM RUBBING OFF THEY NEVER CAME BACK ON THAT AREA AGAIN.. I PLAN ON TRYING THEM AGAIN IN ANOTHER AREA THAT I HAVE. ALL I DID WAS SOAK A QTIP IN ACV AND TORE OFF THE COTTON TIP PLACED IT ONT HE AREA AND LEFT IT ON THE FIRST NIGHT I COULD ONLY STAND A FEW HOURS THE SECOND NIGHT I LEFT IT ON ALL NIGHT THAT THE THIRD NIGHT ALL NIGHT AS WELL THAT AREA IS STILL CLEAR."

12/27/2008: Laura from Birmingham, UK writes: "I have a large cluster (about an inch long as far as I can tell) of GW inside my vagina - and some further in my vaginal passage.. I went to the gyno and they said just leave them and see if they go away. It's been about a year since I first noticed them and no change. I'm contemplating trying ACV - Has anyone had any luck using with internal warts??

It's so horrible and embarrassing.. and I don't want to be scarred or damaged as the area is so sensitive.. but I'm worried if I don't treat them now they might spread to a more noticeable place."

12/28/2008: Lola from Somewhere, California replies: "I'm working to get rid of internal ones (pretty much as you described) right now. Just read all the posts and you'll see what to expect. I'm making progress - they are white/grey and liquifying. I also am using a diluted douche - washed out several clumps. Ugh. Try just packing the wart area and protecting the sides with a piece of latex glove tucked in. Remember it's necrosis, as another post said. NOT pretty."

01/05/2009: Laura from Bham, UK replies: "Would you say that having sex whilst removing these horrible things (internal GW) is not possible? If so, how long do you reckon you have to abstain?"

[YEA]  12/26/2008: NormalGuy from Dallas, TX writes: "After discovering that my wife of 8 years was having an affair, I immediately filed for divorce. Shortly after, I discovered a growth on my shaft which I dismissed as an ingrown hair until it began growing and formed into a second one.

Sure enough, it was GW. I was absolutely petrified... I was a virgin until marriage, and I was under the sad impression that my ex was as well. Clearly not.

In all honesty, I was way too embarrassed to see a doctor, so I began frantically searching for more discreet treatments. Thank GOD I found this website.

Long story put short, I immediately began barraging my body with immune boosting vitamins in the OTC "Airborne" tablets. I also started eating 3-4 fresh garlic cloves each day.

The ACV treatment came next. Basically, I am following the same band-aid+cotton solution each night and followed it up with tea-tree oil + vitamin E between ACV applications. Within 24 hours, the warts turned pitch-black after first becoming white. I couldn't believe it...

On to day-2! I just applied round 2 of ACV, and I am very optimistic. The only side-effect has been the expected burning sensation which is a negligible price to pay for the desired outcome.

Necrosis never felt so good!

THANK YOU for your help in saving me from immense humiliation."

12/26/2008: NormalGuy from Dallas, TX replies: "Update:

At the end of day-2, the wart was completely toast and fell off in the shower. All that's left now is a small indentation/wound where the wart once was which has a very slight black ring around it (tissue which also is in a necrotic state and will soon disappear).

I'm barraging the small, painless wound with tea-tree oil, vitamin-E, and bacitracin after cleaning it up with HP. Also getting plenty of rest, exercise, and a nutrient-rich diet.

I have a feeling that in a few days, this ordeal will be over.

I'm at a loss of words as to how amazed I am. I have NEVER been a believer of alternative-type medicine, etc; but, I can contest what has just happened--truly life-changing."

12/26/2008: Mike from Westland , MI writes: "I have been using acv for two weeks now, 3 days on and 1 day of letting the skin heal. Within the first week most of the smaller warts had turned black and fallen off as people said they would.

My problem is there are 5 larger ones that look like a mosquito bites and a red area of small bumps on my testicles and shaft that are not having the same results. However, they do flake off after a few days of treatments, they do not seem to be getting any bigger, or smaller though. I am wondering if anyone has experienced this, or if there is something I may be doing wrong. Thanks!"

I did try outside the anus but after the second day it was too sensitive there to do it again....I really need to do something. I can't pay the doctor bill anymore. by the way, i had one in my foot finger and i used ACV....gone!!!!in just 3 days!that why I'm thinking to use it inside the rectum."

[SIDE EFFECTS]  12/20/2008: Jamie from Vancouver, BC/Canada writes: "Well, I've been trying the ACV method for the first time for about a week now to hopefully rid myself of genetal warts. It seems to be working based on the comments and stories I've read on here, however, the pain and stinging from the ACV has become too unbarable and I've had to stop for (hopefully) a couple of days. I'm uncircumsized and have one wart on the head of my penis where the shaft and head meet (forgive me for not knowing the term) and a couple of small ones under the foreskin on my shaft that I couldn't see untill I started treatment. My problem is that they're all covered by my foreskin which makes treating them difficult and my skin got all irritated (hence why I'm stopping for a couple of days). I've tried using one guys 3 week method of wrapping my entire penis in ACV soaked paper towel and covering it with plastic wrap (this helped find the small ones) I clean the area with HP and use vitamin tea tree oil creams to help the healing. I guess the questions that I'm asking is, by stoping treatment for a couple of days, is it going to bring me back to square one? Are there any other guys that could offer some advice who have the same problem? Thank's in advance."

[BETTER BUT NOT CURED]  12/20/2008: ConfusedButConfident from Phoenix, AZ writes: "Well I used the ACV treatment after finding this site. I cleaned the area on my penis really good with HP and then soaked a q-tip in ACV. I applied it to the wart and left it overnight. When I woke and took a shower I noticed it had turned completely white. Cleaned the area with HP again and went about my day. Second night I repeated the process, and woke the next morning and the whole wart was black! Is this supposed to happen and what do I do now? I can see where it is starting to come off it looks like but I do not want to pick at it. Should I be applying more ACV or should I just let it be and apply some vit E like I read elsewhere. As for pain and discomfort there is absolutely no pain, and the skin is not irritated at all. What should I do next, I used this one as a test and I have one more to take care of."

12/26/2008: Mike from Westland, MI replies: "Yes it's supposed to turn black that means it's already almost off. You don't want to pick at it though, let the body go through the natural healing process and hopefully the wart will be gone as well as no scars underneath. After it turned black I just applied vitamin E oil and most of them went away completely. The one that didn't I just went through the acv process again, it took a little longer, but still worked."

[YEA]  01/09/2009: ConfusedButConfident from Phoenix, AZ replies: "OK I am totally amazed!! The one wart I tried it on is completely gone with absolutely no scarring and the skin color is back to normal. It has been almost a month since I posted but it took only about a week for the wart to fall off and now you can not even tell!

All I did was apply the ACV with a q-tip and tape it in place over night. I experienced no pain what so ever. I started taking multi-vitamins and working out as well, and then let the body do the rest. I didnt apply any vitamin E or anything just used HP everyday on the area 2-3 times a day to clean it well.

1 wart down 1 more to go!!""

[YEA]  12/18/2008: Tom from LA, CA writes: "Even the cheap Vinegar made from chemicals works. So does apple cider. Started with cheap vinegar. The 3 warts were gone in 3 days. Later started applying apple cider just to be sure. Don't know how long the vinger needs to be applied. When you apply vinegar...it will show more warts (white spots) than you thought. Thus i think the vinegar needs to be applied on a larger area than just the wart."

12/18/2008: Zager from Chicago, Illinois writes: "I have tried the applecidervinegar on an area I think is genital warts, but I am not sure. I have had it in the past and have had it removed with laser. When I put the cider on the warts on the opening of the penis it doesnt turn white but it itches a lot. The fact that it itches a lot, does that make it positive that it is genital warts? Or something that shouldnt be there?"

01/15/2009: Ema from Texas, USA replies: "it can be any regular skin irritation. if you arent sure about GW, u should not use it as it can cause damage to ur cell. check with a doctor and be sure that its wart. then u can choose to use ACV"

05/30/2009: Truthbetold from Union, NJ replies: "Apple Cider Vinegar seemed to work well. No uncomfortable stinging, no other warts beside one cauliflower shaped thingy on my shaft. a week or so later and i am still washing, cleaning that area, putting either vitamin e oil, tea tree oil or neosporin ointment on the wound.

My question is, how long will there be a flesh looking wound there after the scab falls off? I am a smoker (weed), so possibly it might take longer due to that. I take a lot of daily vitamins and i work out regularly.

Also, do you recommend that I try to apply ACV on my entire genital area, even though the wound from the original wart has yet to heal? I recall someone saying if I found one, chances are there's more underneath the skin. I've had this particular wart for a year, now it's gone, but like i said b4...the wound is there, i clean the wound with HP daily and apply antiseptic, and wear bandaid.

Should I not wear a bandaid to help this heal, or should I allow more time?

Thanks!!"

12/16/2008: Dan from Trenton, New Jersey writes: "Hello everybody...I apologize for the lengthy post, but I could really use some help from other people who may have experienced my problem..

I stumbled across this website about a month and a half ago. I decided to give ACV a try since it seems to have a high success rate among people who have posted on here. I had two moderate sized warts on the shaft of my penis. I applied ACV as directed by users on this site and noticed a very small improvement. I noticed bits and pieces of the actual warts falling off with each treatment. I have had the warts for a considerably decent amount of time so I had a feeling that they might be stubborn. I feel as the though the warts were never completely eliminated from the area and I fear that the skin may have started healing before I could get all of the warts. I couldnt continuously use ACV because of considerable burning and inflamation. As a result I believe the healing process began. Now I am stuck with what looks like one big scar, but I still feel something underneath the scar. I am not sure if anyone else can relate or know what I mean by that, but I can almost feel the wart underneath still. My hope is that it is scar tissue? Anyway, I am here because I could use some help. I recently began a new set of treatments with ACV. The burning is now 10x worse than on the original treatment and the inflamation isn't any better. I notice that the center, (the part that healed), turns a pearl white, while the surrounding skin is turning a brownish/black and beginning to scab.

With that being said, I am nervous to continue treatment and I am unsure what to do. I DO NOT want to end up with a scar that looks worse than the original warts, but at the same time I see a glimmer of hope to finally rid myself of these hideous things."

12/18/2008: Mike from Nashville, TN replies: "what is the deal with all of the little bumps coming up in place of the larger ones that got burned off? too aggressive in treatment? unfortunate side effect? resistant strain? kind of disheartening when it appeared so much progress was being made."

12/18/2008: Jade from Sydney, Australia replies: "Take it easy with the ACV, it is harsh stuff and can burn ur skin! It may take a while to rid the warts, so take the time to let your skin heal otherwise u will do more damage!"

12/15/2008: Maria from Baltimore, MD writes: "I have had warts in the opening to my vagina...and there are probably plenty inside and I just cant see them. I really want to get rid of these to feel better about myself...After reading the postings on this site yesterday, I convinced myself to use the ACV. I put the tampon inside of me and packed the outside with cotton swabs.. I couldn't leave it like that for more than 15 minutes.. It was stinging so bad. But that was only my first treatment. I notice today that there was slight bleeding on the cotton swab when I removed it. Can anybody tell me if I am doing this right... Will it work if you just do it for about 15 minutes.. or do I have to leave it overnight? Thanks for all your help."

[YEA]  12/14/2008: $180 richer from Somewhere, New Jersey writes: "Well to start off, like many other people on this forum, I contracted genital warts. During a rougher sexual experience, I managed to get a cut on the side of my shaft, which is usually covered when not erect, I am uncircumcised. A couple weeks later after it began to heal, I noticed that where i healed was hard and something started to grow there that looked like cauliflower. Well after seeing a urologist, i found out it was genital warts. He performed burned off this growth using a procedure that is called Electrocautery. After this painful experience, they seemed to disappear, but during the healing process, in the same spot i notice 2 more small warts grow. During the checkup, the dr burnt those off too. Seemingly solving the problem, but costing be $180 (after insurance) for each visit. After a few months, I developed another wart, or small clump of them where my foreskin connects and a very small one in the same spot where it all started. Being that I cant afford to keep dishing out $180 over & over, I looked for other options, & extemely happy I found this site.

After reading others' stories, I tried the ACV treatment last night and it has worked so far. After cleaning the area with HP, I soaked a small amount of a cotton swab in ACV and taped a piece to both setsof warts. After about 20 mins, both turned bright white. I reapplied news swabs after observing the process and left it overnight. In the morning I checked on the progress and the bigger clump looked to have separated. Not much progress with the smaller one. Now later at night I went to repeat the same process, and as I was cleaning the bigger clump with HP, a piece fell off!!!!! IT WORKS!. Im hoping after this treatment I see more results! I suggest this treatment to anyone. Applying the ACV yesterday didnt hurt at all! Tonight it have an extremely minimal sting. I believe even an infant can handle the pain without crying. If your like me and dont wanna spend hundreds off dollars just to keep going back, try this. What do you have to lose? The $4 that I spent on the ACV is def worth the risk.

ACV=Apple Cider Vinegar 5% purchased at ACME grocery store
HP=Hydrogen Peroxide

THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR SUBMITTING AND THANK YOU EARTHCLINIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

[YEA]  12/05/2008: Lola from somewhere, US writes: "As I understand the nature of the internet and it's spiders very well I dared to contribute about a subject that I have been so ashamed of for so long, but the results that I got from using ACV are so amazing I had to contribute hoping that my words could reassure someone who might be unsure if this is worth trying. I am a female. After reading this site for hours one night I tried a treatment immediately and just as so many had explained the warts that I could see were white the next day, some turned black and came out while I was using the bathroom. Also, note worthy, is the fact that there were so many more than I knew because it seems to bring them to the surface. YES YOU CAN PUT A TAMPON IN THE ACV AND PUT IT INSIDE YOUR VAGINA. It doesn't really hurt that much the first day but whew! YES IT IS GOING TO HURT VERY MUCH, VERY VERY MUCH ON THE SECOND OR THIRD DAY. . .I personally couldn't do more than a few hours by the 3rd day as I couldn't really get the tampon in my vagina from the swelling by day three. It's ok to take a break. So many of these stories suggest that it will be over in a day or so that was not the case for me. Over the past week I have had to wear a panty liner to catch the now liquified internal warts that have been basically draining for a week now. Tonight I am doing another treatment with more focus on the few partially external warts that I have by fully packing my vagina with the tampon and packing the external area more carefully with ACV soaked cotton balls and holding them in place with a large pad in my panty. I know this works because I have seen new beautiful skin that I haven't seen in a very long time smiling back at me. Don't be discouraged if it takes longer than a few days and you don't have to torture yourself with pain for more than a few days at a time, it doesn't seem to be necessary. If you need to take some time to heal a little you can come back to treat them after some of the irritation settles down. I have also experienced shots and jolts of pain over the past week even though I had stopped treatment, that was my body still healing and removing it's unwanted parasite. I am so grateful for the site and all of the knowledge that it offers. Now go get your supplies and get started! Common store brand ACV does work topically, $1.27, however I take an organic ACV shot orally and intend to do a monthly ACV douche for the next 6-12 months as a follow-up to this treatment. Best wishes"

[YEA]  12/05/2008: L from Orange County, CA writes: "Just adding to the slew of people who say acv works to get rid of GW. Oh my gosh, so I am on day 3. I have tried so many things to try and get rid of the annoying buggers. I used aldara which is extremely expensive and it did not work, went through the whole box, and instead of going away they got bigger and spread. Yeay, thats just great, so then I had them frozen, no just spread even more. Now I have been trying the ACV and in just 3 days they have already turned black. Right now I am just focusing on the one external, a little to scared to try the tampon thing, maybe I will try it soon, I thought about doing the acv douche though. I have been seeing positive results and will continue to update. I have also been drinking the acv everyday and have bathed in it once. The bath was draining, probably releasing the toxins out of my pores. I feel and look so much better. ACV is a cure-all. The best thing I have ever come across. This site is a life-saver. Thanks so much."

12/05/2008: L from Orange County, CA replies: "On day four and just updating. After posting yesterday I took a shower and 2 big chunks came off. I was like what the heck at first and then I realized what it was. It looked like the end of a q-tip, white and spongey, but it was actually warts coming out from inside. It was so weird. A big chunk also came off from one of the external ones. Im so excited. I will let you guys know if they go away completely and stay away. I even recommended this to a pregnant women who had them, cause her doctor said there was nothing she could do while she was pregnant. I believe this is safe as I have had no adverse side effects. I check out this site now everyday when I have anything bothering me. I hope I never have to go to a doctors again."

[YEA]  12/05/2008: G from Somewhere in, Florida writes: "I was really hoping that I was going to be able to post something positive here about apple cider vinegar for two warts on my wang...and after three days, I get too...Honestly, truthfully, and on the real...this stuff works...and I had zero pain. I can see that it may sting in some cases. But for the two on my member, I didnt even feel a pinch. I first cleaned each wart with hydrogen peroxide as reccomended by some other dude on here. I took a Q tip and soaked it in ACV. I then cut the tip in half and placed it on the offending wart. I placed a round small bandaid on top. I did this around midnight and went to sleep. Next day, the wart was white and already beginning to look like it was it was going to come off. 2nd night, same thing, next morning, wart was darker and half falling off. I washed it in the shower using a loofa an pretty much all of it came off. I then covered the skin with vitamin E from a gel pill that i popped with a safety pin. I did the treatment for a third night on the tiny bump that was left on the shaft. Still no pain. Some of the skin around the wart turned slightly blackish which is why i applied the vitamin e. in the morning I showered and scrubbed and everything was gone, including the blackish skin that surrounded the wart...I towel dried and rubbed some neosporin+pain on the reddish aread where the last tiny bump had come off when I showered this morning. As of this post I elimintaed two warts that I had on my shaft for almost 6 months in 3 painless days and it only cost me about 5 bucks. I promise it works.

Side note: On the first day of ACV treatment I started taking 4 garlic pills/ day, 1 1000mg vitamin E pill/ day, 1 multivitamin/day, I drink 2 cups of each orange juice and apple juice a day, and took a 1 oz shot of ACV the first and third night of treatment (and will continue to do so every other night for the next month or 3). I chase each shot with a FULL glass of water without stopping until its completely done. Remember, you just swallowed acetic acid. I also ... often, drink about 8 glasses of water, and go to the gym and/or do something athletic outside every day. I surf weekly. I also sleep at least 8 hours every night. During the 3 days of treatment I left the ACV on the entire time I was sleeping and did not remove until I woke up. Good luck, I promise it really does work, just be patient, positive, and pray to whoever it is you pray to."

It's worse than the warts!! I have been cleaning it with tea tree oil and using vit e oil but it doesnt seem to be getting better! I'm devastated cuz I was really hoping for the ACV to get rid of my little warts and now i'm suffering a bigger problem. Has anyone else had this reaction? Is it that I've burnt my skin with the ACV? God I hope it heals soon."

12/12/2008: Steve from Somewhere, ND replies: "I had the same reaction on my anal warts. They went away but the skin is so tender, I can't tell you the pain I feel when doing my business. I have tried vit e oil and A + D ointment. It's been almost a week now and its still very painful. Any help would be appreciated."

12/16/2008: Devastated from Vegas, Australia replies: "Oh I feel your pain! I thought I was the only one who had a bad reaction and was worried. I am still suffering, I have not seen a doctor because I would just die of embarrassment. I can only assume that the ACV burnt my skin and now it is so raw and painful and itchy, the skin is peeling off and so raw. I clean the area with hydrogen peroxide and tea tree oil as many times a day as i can, this seems to help. I then apply vit e oil, hoping it will heal, i think its healing, just very slowly. I have been boosting my immune system with echinacea and raw ginger and garlic and drinking ACV shots every day. I think people should be careful applying ACV to such sensitive skin for long periods of time. I am really regretting it. All I can say is good luck, hope u feel better soon."

[YEA]  11/28/2008: Ie n from Small Town, OK, USA writes: "I have been using the ACV to treat my GW's and have been pretty pleased with the results almost all are GONE. However I am on my 5th day and have noticed my skin down there is really bumpy, has anyone else had this problem? The area isn't turning white with the ACV, so I don't think their warts but I'm not sure, possibly just irritation? Help!!! I soak a cotton ball and gauze and leave it on the area usually overnight."

11/29/2008: Edward from NY, NY replies: "Sounds like a burn. I suggest cleaning the area in question with hydrogen peroxide and let it rest for a day or two. Vitamin E or bacitracin if it starts to scab; especially if it's in a highly visible area."

[YEA]  11/26/2008: Morgan from Portland, OR writes: "I am amazed. A few months ago while showering I noticed a tiny bump on my outer southern region. I too thought it was an ingrown hair and thought it would go away - but in time it got a little bigger. In time I also noticed that I was itching a great deal down there. I was concerned. On Sunday I noticed another tiny bump higher up. Of course I freaked out - I was fairly certain now that I had an STD and was sure it was warts on my who-ha. OMG... what? Uuggghhh - disgusting. Who is ever going to want to touch me again now that I have a toady sex zone??? Disgusted & upset I came here. ACV seems to be the cure all for all ailments. Thank you all for posting your stories - it really does make one feel better and feel that there is hope to not continue having disgusting bumps on your privates.

I know exactly who gave it to me and at first I was quite upset... but he does not know he has it, does not have visible warts and a condom cannot prevent it. Coming here and reading the stories really made me see that just about anyone can get it and it does not mean that you are a dirty person or have to be promiscuous to contract it. It seems pretty common and happens to people in all walks of life - around the globe. But WHY me??? right!!

Monday, I went out and purchased a fresh batch of ACV at the local co-op. Monday night I soaked up some cotton balls and tucked them into my Va-gi-gi folds - it stung a little but not much. I adhered a panty liner and went to bed. Yesterday - when I awoke I discovered I have a total of 3 and they were obvious and now more raised & greyish. I dabbed them with HP and then showered - blow dried not toweled -- dabbed again with HP then Q-tip dabbed with ACV. In the afternoon - I only misted some cotton balls with ACV and placed them down there again - this time the sting lasted much longer but subsided after 10 minutes. I left them there for a few hours. At this point I felt a little tender down there. I mixed up an oil in no specific quantity - just a mixture of castor, olive, Vit E & A, tea tree & thuja oils - I put that on. I always tell myself not to get aggressive with things - but GW - come on - I had a hard time not doing something every minute. I wanted them gone. Last night I took a bath and added about a 1/2 cup of ACV. Blow dried again - then HP dabbs followed by the cotton balls soaked - pressed into fold. I thought I was going to scream. When people say it stings --- IT STINGS... the only thing I could do was tell myself it is working - it is working. It is painful --- I am sensitive - I cannot lie - it really stings, burns - at least for me. The other thought I had was -- the pain I am feeling right now - is not worth the pleasure it took to get here. OWE. I think I lasted 1/2 hour then put my oil mix on again and all was good again.

So, I started Monday night. Today, Wednesday - to my amazement - they all washed off in the shower. I HP'ed them then put on my oil. My Va-gi-gi area is swollen - but it does not hurt - just slightly irritated but totally worth it. I am going to stop the ACV for a few days but continue with the HP and oil. I'm guessing in 3 days I will do an overnight with ACV and see if there are any. On a side note - I also decided to purchase a reusable douche (did I mention I am freaked out - who knows what's up there?) and started yesterday with a diluted ACV wash. I also started taking probiotics just in case http://jarrowprobiotics.com/products.php I also drank some diluted ACV yesterday and today. I have a pap on the 10th. I am actually praying it comes back negative - no hurt in hoping."

12/10/2008: Morgan from Portland, OR replies: "I wanted to wait until I had my doctor's exam before writing an update. I started topical ACV treatment on my external GWs on Nov. 24th. When I started I was aware of only 2 - in all there were about 7. I did the overnight cotton ball soak for 2 nights, on the 3rd day - I continued to only spot apply them with diluted ACV and a Q-tip several times a day until I could no longer find them. They were totally gone in about a week. Since Nov. 26th, I have done a few diluted ACV/ H2O douches and like Lola from somewhere USA - I did a few soaked tampon applications. I could feel a slight stinging inside directly after insertion on night 1 & especially stingy the next night for longer, then I took a break. I did this twice in 2 weeks. I also chose to wear panty liners and you will want to if you try the tampon &/or douche method. It's not pretty. Like Lola, I also felt sharp pains days after treatment and I personally experienced some intense itching... which I also attributed to healing.

Though this process was 'painful' at times for me - I always told myself that the discomfort meant healing. I kind of think you have to endure some discomfort --- and in reality it was not that bad nor did it last very long. If you feel endured pain, irritation or have swelling - stop for a few days, cut back, dilute, ease up - then go back. I know you want them gone but it will still work if you take it easy. Though I took breaks from long contact with ACV topically, I continued drinking & spot applying with q-tip until they disappeared.

Note: I stopped using Hydrogen Peroxide because I had forgotten that it is really great for cleaning new wounds - but once a wound starts healing - it destroys the good new cells. Since ACV is antibacterial ---- using HP after the first day or two is redundant and not beneficial for healing.

I surprised my doctor who is quite brilliant and open to alternative medicine. She had never heard of anyone using ACV to rid themselves of genital warts. She could not see ANY sign of GW externally where I used to have 7. She said my skin looks great - we were both impressed. There are no warts inside my vaginal walls and my cervix is free of any lesions. However, there are 2 at the very opening of my V in a location that has been difficult for me to get a cotton ball on. Also, they have never turned white, so I was not certain that they were actually warts. She said this type a tissue is different and more resistant than the labia and walls. Interesting. At first she suggested having them frozen off with liquid nitrogen. Later she said since the ACV is working --- why not give it a little longer. We agreed that I would focus on this for 1 month and report back to her.

Though I am not happy about the 2 I have to tend to --- it is kind of a relief to know that what I had seen on my labia was in fact genital warts and I was able to clear my skin of these warts using ACV... in a relatively short span of time. Sorry to be gross but I am also positive that prior to today I had warts inside my vagina as well & they are also GONE.

Note: My doctor was not pleased about my ACV douching --- because of the pH imbalance it can cause. So be careful and take precautions. I took acidophilus and Lysine while doing this.... there was no sign of yeast --- she shook her head in disbelief and gave me a shrug.

Note: To all the women out there, she told me that almost every woman who has ever had sex has HPV. To all: the stated statistics are around 80% of all people. This was hard for me too - but no one should feel shame. I've had 5 friends diagnosed in the last year and now me. None of us are 'promiscuous'.

All I can say is that ACV works. It may not be a pain free process - but I imagine the nitrogen freezing would be more painful and for longer. If you have GW and you are upset and you want to rid yourself of them ---- read through all these amazing YEAS and you will find what to and what not to do. Take your time and listen to your skin. Take heed to the people who say to oil the areas around the wart first - this is VERY smart. If it takes 2 weeks or a month - this is still a miracle. Just be kind to your skin & Good luck! Thank you ACV and Earth Clinic --- thank you to all the people who posted here and helped me through this time. I was in a terrible fright. Sorry to be so lengthy but It works, it works, it works."

[YEA]  11/19/2008: Embarrased Mother from Somewhere, USA writes: "Okay I am back with an update. I have been using the acv treatment for about a week. I havnt been able to leave it on for more than an hour due to the burning. But I have to say that things are looking better. I did a double dose last night of acv, hp and tee tree oil. This morning when I woke up I had some bleeding so I know something is working. I am hopfull that i will be gw free in a couple of weeks. I am also duching with diluted acv and tee tree oil once a day. I have no idea if it is working but i have to try. I have also found a new remedie that i will try tonight. I found it online Oil of Oregano. I know that this heals most ailments when taken internally and it is pretty potent stuff. Has anyone else heard of this to treat warts? Like I said I dont know if it will work but this is what im going to do. Clean the infected area well with hp apply vitamin e on the surrounding skin then rub the oil of oregano on the wart itself let it be then apply tee tree oil to a cotton ball and leave over nite. I will update with my findings in a couple of days. Thanks to all!"

EC: ACV - Apple Cider Vinegar
HP - Hydrogen Peroxide
GW - Genital Warts
